For the record I think generative AI is just a tool and as such is morally neutral. It's the way it's used and the purpose it's used for that matters.

Hiii!!
I would like to ask.
How does dark magic work in RFTS and how is it different from light magic? Is it considered dark magic if it's used for malicious purposes or is it considered dark because it demands sacrifice?
Are stars capable of dark magic? Does Sueño use dark magic in his "snap" moment to attack Magnifico?
Dark Magic in the RFTS!AU:
Hehehehehehehe….This one question deserves a post all on its own since I have much to say >:))
Tumblr media
Before we start, let me just explain the basics:
Can anyone learn to do magic?:
Anyone can take on learning magic if they want. The most important part first is that they learn to connect with themselves. Then the pre-existing magic surrounding them will follow.
Magic present in the human world isn’t just summoned. It’s like matter. Neither created or destroyed. Magic is just borrowed from the surroundings and harnessed for usage.
Some spells are harder to harness from its surroundings. These require more experience and study. Or even certain ingredients/tools.
Summoning light is the easiest and is usually a spell for beginners. (Same goes for nature-related magic. They are common first spells learnt by those pursuing the art of learning it.)
………..
What about Dark Magic?:
I went with the latter you’ve mentioned. Using Dark magic requires something you’re willing to sacrifice. It’s like a cheat. It makes a certain outcome more easily achievable but at a cost. Dark magic doesn’t have to be malicious (though it can be most of the time), but it’s just an easier, lazier and riskier alternative.
Some innocent and positive spells have a dark magic variant. That variant can be easily attained if sufficient effort is given to meet the requirements and the cost is accepted. The cost is different depending on the type of spell.
Example: There’s plant magic used to (obviously-) grow plants. Let’s say you want to grow a watermelon but you haven’t been successful yet with harnessing that skill. So you turn to the dark magic version of plant magic because you can’t be bothered to work hard and learn it the hard way.
You collect the requirements such as a special root that was soaked in tree sap and then enchanted by a forbidden chant to activate the use of dark magic. Then you’re free to grow as many watermelons as you want easily now that you have that dark magic in your possession. HOWEVER, you can feel your hands become itchy and turn into a more wooden structure the more it is used.
✨✨✨✨✨✨
Now that we’ve covered the basics of magic in the Human Realm, let’s see how it differs to magic in the Astral Realm. Star Magic:
Special and literally out-of-this-world. Even the oldest sources and best sorcerers and astrologists don’t have a definite answer for its limitations for a long time.
Comes from a Star’s Core. (The most vital part of a star)
A Star’s magic can actually be split into two categories. Stellar Magic and Wish Magic.
(1) Stellar Magic:
The core is responsible for the star’s Stellar powers; their own seperate and individual magic. It is SEPERATE from Wish Magic. Allows the star to:
Shape-shift, by rearranging the wishing star’s dust making them up.
Fly
Speed
Glow
And Manipulate light
No visual swirls of Wish Magic are seen when they use their own power.
Their powers are basically just things you can associate with a star. But that’s it.
It is more limited and relatively less powerful than Wish magic. Unlike Wish Magic, it doesn’t require passion from a wish to work.
………….
Btw, speaking of Wish Magic, this one fact inspired me on how this works:
Tumblr media
And so I took that interesting fact and rolled with it:
………… (2) Wish Magic:
Star Cores harness passion (strong feelings) from their wish maker or their surroundings to produce wish magic.
Since a star’s core is made from an Act of True Love, the strength of wish magic relies heavily on positive emotional energy. So it can be charged powerfully through positive auras.
Unfortunately, this also means emotional outbursts from a star can cause unpredictable magical results. This is why young starlings are not allowed to go down to earth because they should learn to control their powers first.
Since it’s magic foreign from the human world, it’s not permanent and the passion of the wish determines how long the magic lasts. It’s like training wheels. It will last longer to help if the person REALLY desires it. It’s ultimately and completely up to them to accomplish their wish for themselves though.
Alpha stars are the only ones with the power to choose to make wishes permanent if deserved.
Pure Wish magic CANNOT bend the will of the person affected by the wish. Usually, if the person affected doesn’t desire the Magic’s effect, it doesn’t work.
Can’t bring people back from illness because like I said, it’s not permanent and things usually would just go back to what they were.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Curse Magic:
Now this is where it gets interesting. Curse Magic is the green dark magic variant of pure Wish magic. It’s what Magnifico uses from the power he obtained from Sueño’s capture when it comes to desperate measures. While he uses pure wish magic to grant Rosas’ wishes, he tends to have it transition into curse magic when punishing certain people in secret and put them back in line. But sometimes, it’s on pure accident when he gets pissed or having a bad day. Unfortunately for us, Maggy has anger issues and is emotionally-driven.
Curse Magic turns green whenever a negatively passionate wish or very negative emotions surrounding it are harnessed instead of positive. Like regular Wish magic would’ve for a positive aura.
If you’re willing to take the cost, then its capabilities are almost limitless. (I did say Dark magic is the easier but costly alternative)
It CAN BEND a person’s will and is more permanent.
But if it’s Dark magic, then what’s the cost?
Trust me bud. With a magic this strong, the cost is nasty.
The more a person uses it, the more of their sanity corrodes away. They grow more apathetic and irrational little by little. You get more insane in using it every time. This could go on and on, slowly and steadily if no effort is done to stop it, until they’re nothing but a mindless being of destruction.
A way to break its hold is if its counterpart, Wish magic, is powered up with great pure positive feelings. Since they’re equally powerful counterparts, they can both counteract each other as long as they have enough passion to overpower the other.
Tumblr media
SOOO, it’s why Magnifico reverses these effects whenever he’s in the brink of losing it by crushing absorbing positive emotional energy from some wish bubbles. (*coughs* like another arsehole I know…)
Amaya makes sure her husband uses Curse magic responsibly and as little as possible
She doesn’t want to have him lose control over himself and lose him before they could properly execute their plan for Rosas’ 100th. Sometimes, in the back of her mind, Amaya wonders if it’s worth the risk of losing her love for this. But hey! At least you know why these two would be drifting apart. :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
…………
And to answer your last question, I hope what I just explained about Curse magic made Sueño’s ‘snap moment’ make a little more sense.
The strong negative feelings bubbling from within, arising to convert his magic into Dark Magic and why it made him lose his mind and rationality in the moment. Why he was about to do something he wouldn’t ever see himself doing. To intentionally hurt and make someone pay for everything….
Tumblr media Tumblr media
✨✨✨✨✨✨
There’s honestly still a lot more I could say and stuff I’m still working to expand upon, but I think that would be stepping too much into spoiler territory at this point.
Sorry for the ramble and if this even made any sense at all. 🥲😅
Believe it or not, this is my first time creating a magic system from scratch since the one in the canon Wish movie was almost non-existent. @signed-sapphire @rascalentertainments @annymation @uva124 @your-ne1ghbor (You might find this an interesting read into my AU ;)

Mimir had decided to teach Yn outside today, in hopes the visuals of the flora would aid in his lesson. The girl was excited when he told her to bring her things out into the field and they sat on a bench that overlooked the garden, beyond the training grounds.
He held a sample in his hand of small pink flowers with purple veins etched into the petals, along with green scalloped leaves, covered in peach fuzz.
“ now then, lass. As you may already know, the local flora where we travel can be hazardous. We talked about this last week.”
Yn nodded, flipping back to her notes taken on Vanaheim’s exploding blue blossoms, and dart-shooting flowers. She had always known to be wary of such things.
“However some, like this little fella,” he shook the contents in his hands gently, “ can be of great use as well. Here in Asgard, this is called mallow.” He placed a piece of his sample in front of the girl, encouraging her to inspect it. Yn smiled and picked up the flower, admiring its vibrant color. It reminded her of something.
“ What does this one do, Mimir?” She asked, holding a flower tenderly.
“ This,” He twiddled a flower between his thumb and forefinger, “ is a useful tool for common ailments. It is used to make teas or tinctures that soothe the throat, it helps with stomach problems, and the leaves are used for moist dressings on open wounds.” Yn gazed at the plant, amazed at how versatile it was. She smiled as she tore a leaf in half and a milky white substance started to spill.
“So many uses! Does it taste like anything?” She asked as she dipped her finger in. He chuckled and urged her to taste. The sap was floral and slightly sweet. Yn smiled as she put some flowers in her book and started writing new notes. Mimir continued to speak.
“Every part of the plant is edible, down to the routes. People have even started making treats for taste alone instead of medicinal use. Truly a very useful specimen.” Mimir sat across from the girl, waiting for her to finish writing before he continued. He turned his head to see Odin and Heimdall walking past, towards the wall.
“Ah, All-Father. A pleasure to see you as always.” Mimir waved, and Odin nodded with a small smile, pausing to speak with the satyr.
“Likewise, Mimir. Studies going well little one?” He looked down at the girl with a grin and she met his gaze, smiling back up at him.
“Yes, All-Father. I hope to be able to help you soon after Mimir has taught me enough to be of use.”
“Ah! Good, good. That’s what I like to hear! Heimdall could learn a bit from your go-getting attitude.” Yn was not blind to the way Heimdall seemed to stiffen slightly at the sentence, and looked back at Odin, closing her journal.
“Heimdall has encouraged me to work hard for the greater good of Asgard.” she offered, hoping to make Odin see how much his son cared about being the heir of Aesir. “He is very impressive, and I hope to be strong like him soon. He is very passionate about his duty. You should be proud.” She flashed a smile. Heimdall flushed down to his neck and swallowed, while Mimir stood in silent shock, fearing the All-Father’s reaction. Odin burst into laughter, resting his hand on the girl’s head and ruffling her hair into a bird's nest.
“Mimir! Have you been giving this girl your spunk?” he calmed into soft chuckles. Mimir chuckled nervously, shaking his head.
“I’m sorry, All-Father, the two have been getting along better it seems. Isn’t that grand?” Odin smiled and tutted at Mimir.
“I’m only teasing dear friend.” he looked down at Yn, “It is great that you are both getting along better. I hope you can continue to learn from each other.” He rested a hand on the boy’s shoulder and looked down at him with a proud expression. Heimdall looked up at his father and gave him a firm nod, but Yn knew inside his heart was rattling with excitement at his father’s words.
“Thank you, All-Father,” he spoke stiffly and turned to give Yn a curt bow. “And thank you, for your kind words, Lady Yn…” his voice trailed off and he looked down at his shoes, the tips of his ears pink.
“Right then,” Odin nodded to Mimir. “ we must be going, working on Heimdall’s enhanced sight and honing today. But may I speak to you tonight, Mimir?” The satyr nodded, knowing it wasn’t truly a question.
“Of course All-Father”
“Grand! Oh and one more thing” he looked back at the girl, “ I have a guest waiting for you in my study, someone to aid Mimir in your studies and make you feel more at home. I’m only sorry she wasn’t back from her mission sooner.” With one last pat on the head, he walked off towards the wall with his son, leading him by the shoulder. Yn turned to Mimir, her face falling into a small frown.
“ What’s he talking about?” she asked, head tilted. Mimir chuckled and started collecting the materials he had brought out.
“ You’ll find out. Come on then, pack your things, and let's get to the study. We have a guest.” Yn frowned at Mimir’s cryptic answer and grabbed her notebooks tucking a few more samples between the pages.
“What guest?”
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆
Mimir guided Yn to the double doors of Odin’s study and she could feel his nerves start to bubble.
“Mimir, are you ok?” she asked, looking up at him. His anxiousness was rubbing off on her and it made her start to buzz as she looked at the doors, trying to calm herself. “I-is the guest someone scary?”
“Eh well… that’s a bit subjective, lass.” He chuckled, scratching the back of his head. Noticing the girl’s fidgeting, he cleared his throat and patted her head. “But you have nothing to worry about. She doesn’t like me too much, but I wanted you to meet her. After all, “his eyes shined with mischief, “you’re both from Vanaheim.” He smiled down at the girl before knocking at the door. The girl’s eyes widened, as she bounced on the balls of her feet realizing who was waiting for her on the other side.
“W-wait-!”
“Come in. Or do you plan to stand behind there all day?” Mimir huffed and pushed the doors open. Yn’s eyes immediately fell on the Valkyrie standing tall in the center of the room, her wings gleaming like spun gold as they caught the orange shine of candlelight. Her helmet lay on the main desk but her armor still gleamed on her shoulders and knees as she turned to face the two at the door. Yn swallowed thickly, her excitement caught in her throat to the point she could have choked. Yn shrunk, dodging to hide behind Mimir as he guided her closer to the goddess.
“You’re majesty! Odin told me you would be waiting for us!” she turned to look at Mimir with a frown, pointing her sword out to keep him at blade’s length away.
“Not for you, old goat.” she glanced down at the girl hidden behind the satyr, a brow raised. Yn shivered, peering up at her, unsure of what to do. “Go on then.” the goddess encouraged, “Introduce yourself. A young goddess should not cower. Others will think you easy to fool.” Yn swallowed and stepped out from behind Mimir, bowing deeply as her fingers trembled over her books.
“G-goddess Freyja, o-or um my queen? I-I am honored to meet you” Her voice trembled and her cheeks grew hot, the room starting to spin. She swallowed and straightened, forcing herself to look her in the eyes. “I am the Goddess of peace and logic! A-and I am not easy to fool!” the queen looked down at Yn, before snorting and lowering her sword from Mimir.
“Is that so?” she asked, sheathing her sword and folding her arms. Yn swallowed and shuffled in place. “That’s good in a place like Asgard. You never know who may not have your best interests at heart.” she glared at Mimir from the corner of her eye. He simply accepted the attack, knowing there was nothing he could say to disprove the fact he had tricked her all those years ago to leave her home. Yn looked between the two, feeling the tension of a drawn bow between the two of them. She wanted to ask Mimir about it later. However, right now, she was enamored with the presence of the Vanir goddess.
“I-I hope so, your Highness…goddess Freyja… Valkyrie queen… ma’am?” Yn stumbled over her words. Unlike when she had met the All-Father, or Thor or Hiemdall, this truly felt like she was meeting a god, one from her realm, connected. Yes, they had met once before, but even then, Yn could only remember being too in awe to speak as she bandaged the goddess’ wounds and brought her rations. She was even younger then and still felt like the luckiest little girl in the world to be able to aid the Vanir goddess in her fight against the Asgardians all those hundreds of years ago. Even when she agreed to the truce and her people looked down on her for it, Yn could only think of how brave Freyja was for leaving her home. She grieved the goddess’s absence. And the fact that she was here, standing before her, felt like a dream.
Freya smirked at the barrage of names thrown at her and shook her head. “The people here call me Frigg or Vanadis, queen of the valkyries…but,” she trailed off, leaning down to the girl, “when it’s just you and I, I suppose Freyja is alright.”
“Really? I can call you just… Freya?” Mimir looked like he wanted to intervene, but with a warning glare from the Vanir goddess, he frowned with a huff, deciding against it. He crossed his arms, taking a step back from the two.
“Well, I was going to introduce you two. Make a grand show of it too!” He sighed, his shoulders drooping in defeat. “But I suppose there’s no point now. Yn, her ladyship wanted to meet you sooner but was on a mission. From now on, we will both be teaching you. Odin hoped this would help you feel a bit less homesick. Does this arrangement work for you?” Yn nodded excitedly, looking between the two of them. “You’re both going to teach me? What will you teach me, Queen Freyja?’ the woman shrugged, a cocky grin on her face.
“Just things only a fellow Vanir could teach you. Magix and potions and transformations. Does this interest you?” She asked nonchalantly, and Yn felt dizzy from how fast she nodded her head, she couldn’t wait to tell Heimdall. Still, she felt herself unworthy of such a luxury.
“Why do you want to do all this for me?” she asked, her voice going softer as she looked up at Freyja. The goddess’s smile just barely faltered. Odin had tasked her with teaching the girl to control her magic and see how it works, to be better able to control it in the future. Still, she had known the girl when she was even younger than this and had always regretted not taking her under her wing sooner. If only they hadn’t met during the heat of war.
“Well,” Freyja started, eyeing Mimir, who looked back at her from behind the girl with a sad but stiff expression. “ who better to teach you? The most annoying man in the realms over there?” she pointed at Mimir, eliciting a small giggle from the girl.
“Oi!” Mimir barked but softened as he too heard the little girl’s laughter. Freyja ignored him, her eyes softening at the innocence of the girl in front of her. She felt a kinship that could not be acted on without war to wedge them away from one another.
“Or I? A fellow Vanir…After all,” Freya rested a hand on the girl’s shoulder, “we are practically sisters.”
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆
“Heimdall it was amazing!” the girl ranted, pacing back and forth in the boy’s room as she recounted her day after meeting the Vanir goddess. “She’s so strong and she knows so much! She already started teaching me about brewing potions with the flowers that Mimir was teaching me about! It's like everything is coming together!”
Heimdall let the girl be, his eyes lazily following her as she spun across his room. His mind buzzed at the events of his day. He needed to get a word in. but for now he just listened.
“ I mean she must have taught you many things too! We should go to a lesson together!”
“Actually, no,” he stated simply, “ we don’t talk much… and I don’t care too much about changing that.” he shrugged, leaning back in his chair. The girl halted her pacing and turned to look at Heimdall quizzically. He frowned at the thoughts he could hear become annoyingly loud.
“Step-mother. Let’s get that clear. And I have no interest in learning Vanir magix, it’s beneath me as an Asir.” the girl frowned.
“So then I must be beneath you too, then?”
“Obviously.”
“Even though we’re friends?” the boy faltered, looking away.
“We’re not friends… we’re acquaintances.” Yn snorted, crossing her arms.
“Well seeing as how you always come crying to me, I feel that makes us at least equals, wouldn’t you say?” She smirked, waiting for an answer. Heimdall glared back at her, conjuring a retort, but they would all be redundant. She unfortunately had a point. He finally smirked and shook his head.
“Fine. equals then.” the girl smiled, satisfied, and it made Heimdall feel lighter.
“So then,” she plopped down in her own seat across from him, “how was your day. Did you see things that were very far away?” she asked with a giggle, holding her hands up to her eyes like a pair of binoculars, he swatted her hands down with a snort, shaking his head.
“It’s more than that! I need to be able to see all things nearly simultaneously so I catch threats before they happen. It’s-”
“ “A very important job” Yes, I know, I’m only teasing.” she smiled, putting her hands down. Heimdall rolled his eyes at the girl, but couldn’t put away the smile that tugged at his cheeks. “ but other than that, how did it go? Was Odin happy with you?” Heimdall’s face fell slightly as he remembered the way his father’s face hardened as they walked away from Yn and Mimir, his thoughts racing about how proud of Heimdall he was, but also a heavy concern, and paranoia.
“Well,” Heimdall scratched the back of his head, avoiding eye contact as the girl frowned at him, worried. “He was happy that I seemed to care about my work… but um,” he swallowed before turning to the girl. “Did you use your powers?” her eyes widened to saucers.
“What? No! I-I don’t think so…” she faltered slightly, her body shrinking in her chair, “I-I don’t know. I wasn’t trying to…” Heimdall swallowed at her answer, fidgeting in his own seat.
“He… His mind was racing… he thought you were in his head, and he wasn’t happy…” Yn was silent and Heimdall urged her, “Are you sure you weren’t trying to suggest anything to him?” the girl nodded, adamantly, and for some reason, Heimdall trusted her.
“I really was just telling the truth. I know how much you care about being a good heir to the royal family… and how much you care about Asgard. Even if you are a bit pompous about it.” she smiled sheepishly as Heimdall’s brow twitched. “ and I was also being honest about how you inspire me to work hard. So that we can be equals.” she offered with a shy little grin, fidgeting with her fingers. Heimdall felt his cheeks flushed despite his better judgment and he rubbed the back of his neck.
“Y-yeah? Well…” he composed himself and straightened his posture. “You have a long way to go with that, Songbird.” she snorted, tilting her head.
“Songbird?”
“I thought it a bit better than squawking raven. Even though you can still be one of those as well.” she giggled, shaking her head.
“Oh yeah? Well, you’re still a weasel.” she squealed as he threw a pillow from his bed at her.
“I am not a weasel.”
“Said the weasel.” he huffed, standing up.
“Alright. I think it’s time for you to go.” she giggled as Heimdall walked to his door, expecting her to follow. She grabbed her things and obliged.
“OK, ok. Oh! One more thing!” she flipped through her notebook, falling to the page where she had some loose samples of mallow. Yn closed the book, tucking it under her arm, and grabbed Heimdall’s hand, placing it gently in his palm. “I learned about this plant today with Mimir. The petals reminded me of you.” she smiled softly, collecting the rest of her things before opening the door. “I know you look down on Vanir magic. But I’m going to see if I can learn to make something for your headaches. You don’t have to take it if you don’t want to. But I'll try anyway, okay?” Heimdall didn’t respond, staring at the flower in his hand. The girl rolled her eyes with a little grin. “Bye Heimdall. My door will be unlocked like it always is. Goodnight.” She bowed slightly before gently shutting the door. Heimdall listened to her footfalls go across the hall into her room, his vision still focused on the little flower in his hand. Vibrant pink with streaks of violet. Just like his eyes.

I've been making an avatar OC and she's a zoologist and I've come up with some things for Ikran that probably don't hold up well in canon
But I like to think about the biology of the world, I'm in a bio class. Do you think the herbivores have multi compartment stomachs? Do Ikran have gizzards? How do Pal'i get enough nutrients from nectar?
YES I LOVE THESE QUESTIONS:
Herbivores = multiple stomachs: They would almost have to, right? With the amount of vegetation they eat, they would need multiple stomachs to break down and digest everything properly (a design flaw on our part if you ask me. How come I can't have four stomachs?)
Ikran gizzard: Highly possible! If they do, it's obviously the Pandoran equivalent compared to what's known on Earth, but ikran are flight creatures that are also derived from the tsurak, an aquatic animal, and since we know that all birds and some aquatic animals on Earth have gizzards, it would make sense to me.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend purchasing Avatar-lore sourcebooks, especially if you're interested in Pandoran biology for you OC! I own both Visual Dictionaries (1 and 2) and James Cameron's Avatar: An Activist Survival Guide, which are both helpful tools in answering questions such as whether or not the pa'li gets enough nutrients from nectar!
In both books, they state that pa'li do not solely eat the sap from the direhorse pitcher plant. The sap is just their favorite food and are known to also eat tree bark, shrubs, and the insects that get stuck in said sap.
Another cool fun fact about pa'li from the source material:
"Xenobiologists believe that the touch of these antennae [between pa'li] is for pleasure and affection, and also a means of transferring information about food sources and potential dangers."
Anyway, thanks for the question! ❤️

Completed - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Tumblr media
Quick question—do you like Second Quest modes in "Zelda" games?
See, I'm kind of a slacker when it comes to video games. I will perform as much as is required to get the best endings possible, but little more than that. That means I will go 200.6%+ in "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night", get all souls in "Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow", pick up all furniture and fight in the right spots and ways with "Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance"…but, we're not talking about "Castlevania" games, are we? We're talking about going above and beyond the call of duty for "The Legend of Zelda."
Yeah, I've done the original Second Quest for the first game. I've got the Master Quest for "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" on disc in the basement. Generally, I don't go too nuts in "Zelda" games. Like, I'll max out my heart count, but other than that, I'm usually just getting the best ending possible when hitting credits. Whether you count that as truly being a slacker or not is up to your own definition. Maybe I don't feel like my A-grade work truly is A-grade, especially when you compare it to the likes of speedrunners or professional gamers.
Maybe that comparison is a little messed up…
Tumblr media
I bring this up because "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" is basically "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild"'s Second Quest. Yeah, there's a different plot going on, but it's 40% same map and gameplay, 60% new junk. Harder junk. Grindy junk, too. Like, I swear, half of my playthrough was just grinding up armor that I would then abandon.
But I'm getting ahead of myself.
The mishaps of "Tears of the Kingdom" begin with Link and Zelda rummaging around in her dad's basement, looking for cool shit. And cool shit they do find—evidence of the first Queen and King of Hyrule, a glowing hand, a zombified Ganondorf. Surprise! Link then effectively gets owned as hard as "Evil Dead"'s Ash Williams, losing Zelda, his accumulated health and stamina, and his right arm as Ganon rips the entire map asunder. With the gnarly aforementioned arm now coating the remains of his own limb, Link ventures forth once more to explore the world, unite its peoples, and stab Ganondorf in the face once again. Maybe figure out what happened to Zelda, when he has the time.
Tumblr media
Both the playfield, style, and plot share several beats with its predecessor. The new wrinkle involves the relics of the Zonai, a race of…well, I know a lot of people call them goats, but they remind me more of Anubis-styled jackals. With three eyes, too! Neat! Anyway. This lost, technologically-advanced society had its own tools and robots, all of which Link can now use to move, fuse, and build new shit. Freeze time, too. Tunnel upwards through the air, for whatever reason. Not down, though. You want to go down? Go jump off of something, idiot. (I say this, thinking early on that I would get a drill power…)
In addition to new abilities, Link also has to travel through two additional world maps—that of Hyrule's sky, and that of the strange Depths. Why the sky was so hyped up is beyond me. It's little more than random islands floating around. The Depths though? That place is awesome. Completely dark, coated in corrupting puddles of blood-red Gloom, navigable by little more than glowing roots and plants. Honestly, it's like something out of an Internet spooky pasta. It's a pain in the ass to navigate and a genuine threat, thanks to that life-sapping and capping Gloom, but it is visually very cool.
I do like the aesthetic risks this game was taking. Yes, "Breath of the Wild" had sci-fi elements in it previously. So, the new sentry bots aren't anything unusual. But, I do like the more domestic Zonai constructs, when you run into them. They are genuinely cute and polite. Definitely something I would want around my house. And, again, I love what the Depths were doing. It's a complete pain-in-the-ass to rummage through, but it is as beautiful as it is haunting. Like a cursed black velvet painting of some "Alice in Wonderland" landscape splattered with glitter.
Tumblr media
"Tears of the Kingdom" strives to be a bit more standard in terms of temple progression. Yeah, there's more shrines than Gen I Pokémon, but there are actual temples this time around. Were they more in tune with standard "Zelda" fare? Err…well, the Lightning Temple felt authentic, at the very least. The rest felt like they were half baked or possibly even intended as replacement technology for "Breath of the Wild"'s Divine Beasts. I'm guessing my lack of full clicking with it has something to do with the camera distance from Link and the reliance of hitting 5 switches to do something again. I just never had that feeling of going too far in—getting in too deep.
Also—while I previously liked the progressive music in "Breath of the Wild," it wasn't working for me here. I think it came to a head with the Fire Temple theme. I appreciated how it opened sounding like the redacted Fire Temple theme from the first edition of "Ocarina of Time." The problem is that it moved far too fast off of that piece and into modes that seemed a bit like broken jazz or fragmented elevator music. Not what I was previously vibing to.
I did like the use of this weird, discordant note procession that kept showing up at the end of pivotal songs, though. Also, that brass depth blast. Like, LMAO. Got it, Boss. Rough times ahead.
Plotwise…It's hard to say if I preferred this to "Breath of the Wild" or the other way around. I liked the predecessor's scroungy, apocalyptic vibe a lot. Now, people know where Link lives (or could live.) They might not know his face, but they know what he did. Things are building back up. People are getting married and having kids. It's disquietingly comfy. Zelda's drama ends way more severely and dramatically, though. Topping fighting a demon for 100 years is a tough thing to beat, but damned if "Tears of the Kingdom" didn't find a way to make her situation even more harrowing.
Although, at the risk of spoilers, this game treats time travel very strangely. It feels wrong, like if everyone a decade past "Ocarina of Time" remembered what happened in the screwed-up future of Hyrule. A timeline that was, then was not, if you get my drift.
I've got a couple new questions about Farosh, Dinraal, and Naydra, too…
Tumblr media
Definitively, I can say "Tears of the Kingdom" is harder than "Breath of the Wild." It's one of those difficulty spikes that is easy to track, though. If I may list the ways and wounds:
Weapon Degradation has a bratty little brother, and it's called Weapon Decay. See, most of Hyrule's arms got screwed up by Ganondorf belching up monsters and bad vibes, reducing their effectiveness to little better than a thick stick. You can work around this with proper fusing, but it will require you to become knowledgeable about what monster parts weld the best to your busted swords.
Your ability to generate bombs at will is gone. Get used to harvesting them and stealing weapons whenever you can.
Previously, you had powers that you earned from helping your fallen teammates avenge their deaths. This time, you have partners in battle. It can be more helpful, especially if you get Tulin powered up. But, honestly? I spent a lot of time babysitting everybody just to be effective. With more care comes more damage dealt, but it does get to be a pain in the butt to have to run after Riju to get that sweet lightning bolt strike or constantly manage Mineru's weapon inventory for her.
The economy wasn't friendly to you in the last game, and it's not gotten any better this time around. Expect to buy more at higher prices. Be careful about what you sell, too. You may need parts for your weapons, food, and armor management.
Look, man. When you get into a GameFAQs thread and someone is arguing about the difference between the laymen's understanding of probability and the actuality of binomial distribution, maybe the game's drop rate is just…not particularly helpful. Get used to save scumming and grinding out boss fights. That Blood Moon ain't gonna hit you fast enough.
Remember that one time you had to run around in your underwear to survive on Eventide Island in "Breath of the Wild"? Well, get used to doing it for, like, thirteen shrines. Try not to get your Hylian half a dozen new buttholes drilled into him. (Why is this game so fascinated by taking off Link's shirt, anyway?)
Also, remember when I was talking about the Gloom earlier? That stuff's serious business. It can seal off your hearts, making it impossible for you to fully heal up until you step into sunlight or use Sundelion-infused recipes. Also, enemies can and will inflict you with this every time they hit you in the dark. And yes! You absolutely have to do boss fights down here! Especially for parts of the final boss gauntlet!
Try not to walk off of a cliff in the Depths, either. Obvious, I know. Just don't mess around in the dark, alright? Treat the Depths like the survival horror zone it wants to be.
Tumblr media
Whether you decide to play this game or not, don't do what I did. Do not spend a month grinding for armor upgrades. I'm serious. That was half of my playtime! And yikes, was that painful. If there is anything I would recommend upgrading, it's the Diamond Circlet and the Champion's Leathers. That gets you two high-defense pieces of equipment with a bonus attack boost. The rest is just finding a pair of pants you like. Maybe slightly buffing the environmental pieces so you don't end up offing Link like a weatherman in a meteorological disaster movie.
I think the most damning thing I can say for this game is how long it took me to feel like I was playing a "Legend of Zelda" game. Like, I was thinking about "Super Mario 64." "Super Mario Sunshine." "Star Fox Adventures." Hell, even "Castlevania" Metroidvanias, when thinking about drop rates. (Somehow, even having single-digit percentage drops in those games felt way less painful than this game's 25% drop rate for Lizalfos tails.) But, "Zelda" games? Really, it took fixing Rito Village to get some comforting music back. Even longer than that to find something new that felt thematically on point…
Tumblr media
I could be a catty bitch about taking forever to get Link in green or the unexplained reasons for Riju and Zelda getting a haircut, but I will let that slide. (At least, for spoiler/meta-related reasons, I could see where Zelda's haircut makes sense. Riju's feels more like not wanting to deal with model clipping issues…)
I'm gonna be honest. I don't think it's necessary to play every "Zelda" game. "Link's Awakening" is narratively a waste of time, and most of "A Link to the Past" and "Oracle of Ages/Seasons" have slid out of my brain. I haven't been motivated to try "Minish Cap" or anything starring Toon Link past "Wind Waker" (which absolutely rocks in terms of Ganon interpretations.) I've got one major problem that I will forever be salty with regarding "Twilight Princess", but I won't tell a person to pitch it, either.
Where does this leave "Tears of the Kingdom" in the heap?
Here's my recommendation:
Wait for the Nintendo Switch 2 to release.
See if a Zelda game comes as a launch title for it. (It's possible that a Switch 2 version of this game may be released. See the release schedule for "Twilight Princess" and "Breath of the Wild" for evidence supporting my quack conspiracy.)
If not, buy "Tears of the Kingdom" second hand/on sale.
This game was a bit of a punishing experience, but I think that was more my fault than the game's. It really has too much going on, and you have to tell it to go jump off a cliff, from time to time. (Charge me for trying to help clean up your spilled cart, will you? Be gone, wench!) Keep your goals focused and manageable, follow the main plot, and enjoy that. It's really all the game wants from you. Everything else just spirals into self-inflicted punishment and time you can't get back.
Man, would the Ocarina of Time changed this plot!

Explaining Manic
In Avid's 100 nightmare series and in his current Escaping limbo live streams he uses a mob called 'Manic'.
Green is the sign of mania. It's in the eyes of the insane and it's the sickly glow of the monsters that stalk them.
Sanity
Sanity is drained slowly in the dark, eating raw foods, taking damage and or being in harsher environments like the nether. It can be raised by being in the light, sleeping and or eating nourishing foods (like cooked foods). Sanity will not reset in death.
While sanity is drained the eye goes from closed, to yellow to green. When sanity is lowered the player will start to experience auditory and visual hallucinations, in the meanwhile they will be chased by monsters known as spectres (Monsters that only spawn while insane, there are multiple types of Spectres).
Plants from the Insomniac
Blightmold is bought from an Insomniac, it is used to transform plants into ‘corpse’ variants. Avid used it specifically to get a corpsebloom seed. When using the seeds, it will wither the blocks around them into soul sand, soul soil, coarse dirt, and or similar blocks. He grows it with rotten flesh which is not very effective (on par with bones), there are two other categories that allow the plants to grow faster.
When fully grown the corpsebloom will trap nearby mobs like a venus fly trap, their souls will be absorbed. After killing enough mobs the corpsebloom will produce sab that can be bottled. Corpse sap can not be drank but it can be fed to a corpsepitcher as a base for many recipes. The two main recipes being Gelatin (a food source that gives effects and eats a bar of sanity) and anirrum(Used to upgrade iron tools, the tools are on the same tier as diamond/ makes them unbreakable. However the tools drain the users sanity. Insane users have a +1 damage). The sap can also be used to power a anirrum altar.
When a corpseflute (obtained via Insomniac) is played, it will attract zombees who will be loyal and follow the user for 2 minutes. The flute can give nearby undead monsters brief but potent slowness.
This is basic overview, if you want more i highly suggest going to the wiki and or the creators FAQ on their discord

Sure, here are some imaginative Domain Expansions for each of these figures if they existed in the "Jujutsu Kaisen" universe:
1. LeBron James
Domain Name: King’s Court
Function: This domain creates a basketball court where LeBron's physical abilities and strategic prowess are maximized. His speed, strength, and agility are enhanced, and he can manipulate the space to create obstacles or openings, overwhelming his opponents with sheer athleticism and tactical genius.
2. Darth Vader
Domain Name: Dark Side Enclave
Function: A dark, oppressive environment envelops the space, enhancing Vader's control over the Force. Within this domain, his telekinesis is unstoppable, and he can choke, throw, or crush enemies with ease. The oppressive atmosphere weakens opponents' resolve and saps their strength, making them more susceptible to Vader's attacks.
3. Kanye West
Domain Name: Genius' Reverie
Function: A vast, ever-changing landscape inspired by Kanye's creative mind, where reality bends to his will. Within this domain, he can manipulate sound and visuals to disorient opponents, create illusions, and control the environment. His creativity becomes a weapon, crafting constructs and traps that bewilder and ensnare his enemies.
4. Gucci Mane
Domain Name: Ice Palace
Function: This domain creates a crystalline fortress of ice and diamonds, reflecting Gucci Mane's persona. The icy environment can freeze opponents, and the reflective surfaces make it difficult for enemies to track his movements. He can summon ice constructs and launch sharp, diamond-like projectiles at his foes.
5. Future
Domain Name: Astral Trap
Function: A trippy, neon-lit domain that distorts time and space, reflecting Future's futuristic and surreal aesthetic. Within this domain, he can manipulate time, slowing down or speeding up his movements and attacks. Opponents are bombarded with sensory overload, making it difficult to focus or counterattack.
6. Drake
Domain Name: Heartbreak Citadel
Function: A grand, opulent space that amplifies Drake's emotional and charismatic presence. In this domain, he can project intense emotional waves that affect opponents' mental states, inducing feelings of sorrow, nostalgia, or euphoria. This emotional manipulation weakens their resolve and leaves them vulnerable to his attacks.
7. Bronny James
Domain Name: Rising Star Arena
Function: A futuristic sports arena that highlights Bronny's potential and versatility. Within this domain, his athletic abilities are enhanced, and he can summon holographic copies of himself to confuse and overwhelm opponents. The environment adapts to his needs, providing tools and obstacles that play to his strengths in both offense and defense.
These hypothetical domains reflect the personalities and unique attributes of each individual, enhancing their strengths and making them formidable in the "Jujutsu Kaisen" universe

Streamlining IT Service Management: A Review of ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio
Tumblr media
I recently implemented the ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio digital software into my IT department, and it has revolutionized the way we manage IT services. For years, our ITSM processes relied on a patchwork of outdated documents and tribal knowledge. This led to inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and ultimately, frustrated employees and customers. The ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio has transformed our approach to ITSM, bringing much-needed structure and clarity to our operations.
Pre-Built Library Saves Time and Ensures Consistency
One of the biggest advantages of this software is the pre-built library of ITSM process templates specific to SAP Signavio. These templates provide a strong foundation for our core IT services, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management. The pre-built nature saved us countless hours compared to building these processes from scratch. Furthermore, the library ensures consistency across all our IT service offerings, eliminating the risk of variations that could lead to confusion or errors.
Visual Process Modelling for Improved Understanding
The software utilizes a visual process modelling approach, which has been a game-changer for our team. Complex workflows are depicted through clear diagrams that showcase the sequence of steps, decision points, and responsible roles. This visual format makes it easy for everyone, regardless of technical expertise, to understand how IT services are delivered. This fosters better collaboration between IT staff and other departments, as everyone has a clear picture of how their requests are handled.
Customization Options for Tailored Processes
While the pre-built library provides a solid starting point, the software also allows for customization. We can easily adapt the templates to reflect our specific IT environment and service offerings. This flexibility ensures that the processes we implement are truly tailored to our unique needs. Additionally, the software allows us to document best practices and service level agreements (SLAs) directly within the process models, providing a central repository for all relevant information.
Integration with SAP Signavio for Seamless Workflow
For organizations already using SAP Signavio, the ITSM Prozessbibliothek offers a seamless integration. The pre-built templates are designed to work flawlessly within the SAP Signavio environment, eliminating the need for data migration or complex integrations. This streamlines the process of implementing and managing ITSM processes, allowing us to leverage the existing capabilities of SAP Signavio.
Enhanced Collaboration and Improved Efficiency
Since implementing the ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio, we've witnessed a significant improvement in collaboration and efficiency within our IT department. The clear and consistent processes have empowered our staff to handle service requests more effectively. Additionally, the software has facilitated better communication with end-users, as they now have a clear understanding of how IT services are delivered. Overall, this has resulted in a noticeable reduction in service resolution times and a more streamlined IT service experience.
In conclusion, the ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio is an invaluable tool for any organization looking to streamline their IT service management processes. The combination of pre-built templates, visual process modelling, and SAP Signavio integration makes it a powerful solution for improving efficiency, communication, and overall IT service delivery.pen_sparktunesharemore_vert

I've seen a lot of members in the snzblr-sphere openly condemning gAI and its use. I guess, I wonder how that makes you feel since you use it quite frequently here
Well, this is a sneeze fetish blog but since you asked… here’s a sermonette on AI, lmao:
I work irl in an industry and in roles that have I think fairly significant risk of being displaced by AI in the next 5-10 years, so I have some empathy and understanding particularly for visual artists who feel that all generative AI is parasitical not only on work they and their friends may have done in the past, but in particular harmful to their ability to be paid for their work presently and into the future. And in fact for the purposes of visual art I rarely/never use generative AI anymore, not so much because I found it unethical, but just because it isn’t very good at drawing what I want to see. But like idk if people want me to delete the generative AI images I’ve posted in the past, I would, sure.
I feel quite a bit differently about generative AI text, and that’s probably just cause like… listen, I can’t draw for shit so on some level I don’t really feel qualified to understand how visual artists feel about generative AI, so I think in that sense it’s maybe easier/healthier to defer to practicing artists who feel strongly and otherwise mind my business. But I am a writer, both in the context of this fetish community and irl (technically getting paid—albeit a very small amount—to write for a bit starting at the end of this month, actually!) And for me generative AI is a really effective tool for combating the anxiety of the blank page and virtually nothing else. Like it’s not… good… at writing? And because I’ve used it so much I currently don’t have any fear of it becoming good enough at writing to replace professional writers? (Also at a deep level, I do believe that novel ideas and perspectives exist and the core social utility of writing is to provide those new ideas and perspectives, which I just don’t think generative AI is capable of doing, at least not any time soon). But on some level that makes it perfect for churning out endless variations on simple sneeze fetish themes that land in our silly fetish horny hitboxes. So because it is not capable, in my opinion, of replacing professional writers even for basic corporate marketing type shit, I see it more as a tool for writers to use as we see fit? And I have zero problem using the tool to recreate slight variations on the theme of “big sneeze blows things away” to satisfy fetish cravings and frankly I think y’all should use it in the same way lmao. And also use it to help you write actual stories! It works well as essentially an outlining tool. I wouldn’t even use it to generate dialogue or language because again I think it is very bad at that, but it is good at like… providing options for how a story could flow from point a to point b. And sometimes just revising something is easier than starting from scratch, you know?
AND THEN more broadly, I don’t think that generative AI is inherently harmful, I think we (as Americans/westerners/consumers in capitalists societies, not as sneeze fetishists lmao) have a social structure that makes it potentially harmful. The issue with generative AI taking your job isn’t that it’s going to replace your true original artistic expression, your brilliant webcomic, your sprawling fantasy universe, your masterpiece painting. The issue is that it’s going to take your bullshit graphic artist job for a marketing firm, or even your job as a storyboard artist, etc. AND maybe it SHOULD take those jobs! If gAI can speed up the intermediate stages of artistic production like storyboarding, then great storyboard artists can simply work on more films, enhancing the quality of those films, by using AI to speed up their work. And for the marketing gig, if that work that frankly does more to sap creative energy and funnel it towards greasing the bullshit wheels of capital could be done by generative AI, that would be GREAT for artists, *if* the value created were shared equitably across society. If there were an “AI dividend” that took 50% of the savings created by generative AI and invested it in grants and free classes and free drawing tablets and free housing and funds for creatives to do creative work, then you wouldn’t need the bullshit marketing job that saps your energy, you could work part time in a job unrelated to art and still afford the necessities of life while you work on the stuff you actually care about.
But, of course, we have a bullshit capitalist system. But even within the confines of that system, trying to just reject a productivity enhancing technology rather than harnessing it to the benefit of workers (rather than just allow capital to use the technology as it sees fit, which we have seen unions like the WGA in particular fight very effectively against, SAG-AFTRA less so but that’s a whole other can of worms) is, imo, always a fool’s errand. What we need isn’t to ban AI or create taboos against its use; what we need to emphasize that it is a tool for creatives to accelerate our work, to create more time for us to attend to the details, to ultimately help us make better stuff (and here I am lowkey or maybe high key talking about my day job tho I am being intentionally vague) rather than simply a way for capital to cut down on labor costs. Don’t hate the new robot player, hate the game lol. And in all seriousness, *organize* so that the game gets better rules. And share some of the benefits with capital too, because that’s how it works in the mixed economy (for now). AI generally is eventually going to automate away a lot of junior and entry level work in my industry… and I actually think that can be GREAT! Because then junior level people can actually be apprentices to the creatives that are doing the jobs they one day want to do, instead of getting stuck (as I did, for nearly a decade) doing boring technical work under the guise of assisting creatives, but not actually getting any better at the creative skill you are supposedly apprenticing to one day do.
“But bigsnzstanacct, what if I really love my marketing job greasing the wheels of capital using graphics and art work?” you say. Awesome! Then you should be mastering generative AI to get the most possible benefit out of it, because After The Revolution, we will need people to get the best out of the generative AI and touch up their work and fix their errors either inside or outside of the gAI programs. That is also part of how we harness AI to actually benefit society, by getting good at using it.
So anyway, sermonette over tl;dr: message me or send me another ask if you want me to delete my old posts of generative AI images; generative AI and AI as a whole is just a tool, the tool in itself is not good or bad, the institutions shaping its use are good or bad (and the capitalist institutions that dominate workers presently are very very bad and will incline towards using AI badly and in an anti-worker way in already precarious creative fields, BUT there is power in a union, and we can work together to improve the institutions such that AI can benefit us all, perhaps creatives especially.)

What’s my project?
New Hope - Two Fates Combine
A high fantasy story following a pair of adolescent Drakin, named Shayla and Terro, who were each in the wrong place at the wrong time. With the help of more experienced, but no less scared, adults, they help each other heal the scars left by ill intentioned humans who only view their kind as tools and escape back to the safety of The Border.
TFC will be a character driven novel with ideally 1-3 illustrations per chapter to highlight important events, new characters, and scenes that need visual aid. Some of TFC themes are healing and belonging. I should probably add that there isn’t any intentional romance planned, just strong friendships.
I have the first 2 acts and a rough ending plotted out, as well as a lot of world building. I’m writing this for myself, but also want to publish it one day. Maybe even with an accompanying index or guide on the world. I certainly have enough notes for one. ^^
Im working on drawing up fresh concepts, but I do have some finalized plants: Toxic Dragon’s Blood; a deadly plant with bright reddish-pink sap that can infect a Drakin’s magic. And Fire Flowers, living fire that only some Drakin can directly handle and is used for cooking and light.

Unlocking Business Intelligence with SAP Analytics Cloud
In today’s fast-paced business landscape, timely and intelligent decision-making is essential for survival and growth. Businesses need tools that not only collect data but also help interpret it in a way that drives actionable insights. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is one such powerful tool. It brings together business intelligence, planning, and predictive analytics on a single cloud-based platform. By integrating data from multiple sources, SAC empowers organizations to make informed, real-time decisions that support long-term success.
Why SAP Analytics Cloud Matters
SAP Analytics Cloud is not just another analytics tool—it is a comprehensive solution that helps businesses visualize, plan, and act. At its core, SAC offers a unified platform where users can analyze data, forecast future trends, and collaborate across departments. It turns raw data into strategic insight, enabling businesses to respond swiftly to market changes and internal demands.
Key Benefits of SAP Analytics Cloud
Centralized Data Management One of SAC’s standout features is its ability to manage data centrally. This allows businesses to pull data from various systems and consolidate it into a single, trustworthy source.
