Are you asking if Jay will be as dirty and rule-breaking as Voight? Or are you asking if Jay will become the Sargeant of Intelligence?

I'll answer both. I don't think Jay will be a Voight 2.0 when it comes to his policing. He has bent the rules in the past and wasn't afraid to cover up evidence in the finale. But I don't think the writers will make him as dirty as Voight. Jay has a solid moral compass. He has been working with Voight for a decade; if he was gonna learn from Voight and become a mini him, it would have happened already. We'll probably see him bending the rules here and there, But I doubt they would make him as extreme as Voight.

As for whether Jay will become the new Sargeant, I think so. I don't think that will happen anytime soon since I doubt the writers plan to write Voight out. But eventually, whenever Voight retires or has to leave CPD, Jay would become the new Sargeant of Intelligence.
