I have no idea how tumblr works so I'll just post a picture of my recent work. Its Saurus Warrior with red scales, white back spikes, some golden accessoires and a moonstone (?) Club which I made with bronce and some purple wash :D

But of course I wanna get better both in taking pictures of my minis to show and painting my minis so if you got any tips to get better in any of them, I'd be happy to listen ^-^

The shield is probably one of the things that I need to redo as it feels like its not exactly what I wanted.

Not sure how much your interested in hearing about paleoadjancent stuff in other countries/cultures. But vexes/amuses me this day how out of two translations for "saurus" (reptile/lizard for other readers) Finnish naturalist decided to calque "saurus" as "lizard" and to this day I can read about "Terror lizards", "Flying Lizards", "Fish Lizards" etc in places.

And I realize that this is probably funny thing to be vexed over when implication of those is already in latin names.

A) i love hearing about this stuff! The paleo community is fairly international and I enjoy all the stories

B) oh the debate between reptile and lizard as the translation of Saurus. At the end of the day, the word was used the same way we use the word reptile, so that’s what it should be translated to

Painted the free Saurus Warrior in a tyranid style to celebrate tyranids getting new minis. Not entirely happy with it, definitely gonna look up the proper paint scheme if I get an actual tyranid to paint.

I don't think I mentioned it before, but I'm actually an epee fencer, so yeah. Sword Yoongi and Sword Jimin* really make me feel some kind of way. Like I think they're gorgeous. But also I want to go a few bouts against them...

I literally don’t know what it is but something about him (them) with a sword just does things to be that no other thing can. I’m usually irl decently composed and can contain myself when I’m attracted to something, but sword yoongi just. I melt. I sob. I do NOT shut up. I went to school with a fencer who was on my country’s national team and trying for the Olympics. Everybody always thought he was super cool cuz he used to travel a lot for it. Respectfully, I think you’d kick yoongi and Jimins asses and I’d happily watch.
