Not sure if this will reach enough people but- can we technically have 2 saves on acnh from one game with the switch 2 ? Like if you transfer your island from your first Switch but then delete your save on your second switch, do you still have your first save on your first Switch ? Then, could you make a second save on a your second switch and have 2 saves on one account ? Or is there any way at all to have 2 saves with 2 switches from one game ? I've haven't seen anyone talking about it so I might just be dumb but I really don't know 😞

i am going to buy undertale, would you recommend getting it on switch, steam, or ps5? like for which console do you think it runs best and the controls are most intuitive? (i dont rlly pc game but i could make myself learn if u think its best. btw my pc is a gaming pc so like framerate and ram shouldnt be an issue)

i played undertale on switch and it was fine. it sincerely doesnt matter all that much what version you play since they mostly play identically, so do what youre comfortable with! ill say switch has a little bit of extra exclusive postgame content, but its genuinely not enough to buy that version of the game for exclusively. like theres just a trans woman and a secret optional boss. which are fun and all but again. not necessary

if/when you play deltarune though, the chapter 4 secret boss has some kinda jank controls on switch. again, its not a big deal since its only really one fight and its DOOABLE on switch because i did it and im not very good at it. but yknow. im obligated to mention this. not an aspect id make a decision like this over but a thing that did annoy me when i did it

do what youre comfortable with is what im saying. if you prefer console do one of those because its not gonna matter all that much generally speaking

#although whenever you play deltarune bc im assuming youll like undertale and play dr because its great #then you gotta COMMIT to the version bc your save data cant be transferred between versions #or at least. not without a save file editor. which is a pain #switch is perfectly playable #cant comment on ps5 since ive only played switch version #ive played a bit of undertale and deltarune on pc though and theyre basically identical to switch #ash answers

so apparently pocket camp is shutting down and they're replacing it with an offline version you just pay for once and then have forever and man maybe this is wishful thinking but if in the new one you can access all the limited time & paid items with just bells or something then I'll probably get back into pocket camp. I wouldn't pay full game price for it probably, but I'd pay up to like $45. I'd pay 3DS game prices.

#the way the announcement is worded. we are 'developing' an offline version #like it might just be you transfer your save data and that's that you just play with whatever you have #but if I can get NEW stuff that was previously pay walled or time locked?#events could be rerun by putting them on a preset schedule instead of having to be online #I know it's like 7 years of events so they probably can't do all of them every year #but I'm sure they could find a way for them to rotate out based on calendar date just like the mainline games #nintendo you have a chance to get one more cash grab out of the people who refused to interact with your microtransactions

Exactly what I needed to know when I buy my Switch 2.

I want to keep the Switch OLED I have exactly as it is with all the games on but if you do a full out swap when you boot up the Switch 2, it will also delete everything on the Switch. If you don’t want it to do that, then you should follow this step-by-step guide on how to transfer your saved data to your Switch 2 whilst keeping it on the Switch. Most of us will not have the storage space to transfer every game and all saved data for those games anyway even with the micro SD express card.

I just want to transfer everything I have for ‘Breath Of The Wild’ and ‘Tears Of The Kingdom’ because I know I have the option to start all over again on a second save file later on. That will already take up a lot of storage space when upgrading to the “Switch 2 editions” for both games along with the downloads of ‘Mario Kart World’ and ‘Super Smash Bros: Ultimate’ as virtual game cards. You own all the games on the Switch so you should have the option to redownload them for the Switch 2 at any time you want whilst also still keeping them on the Switch. Nintendo should not be deleting anything without your expressed consent. Hence why there is virtual game cards which means if you have the physical games cards, you can just download the digital versions of those games for the new console. But I will not want to be doing that without the storage capacity for it but I may want to do that when there’s a micro SD express card available that has 1-2TB storage capacity.

I do not want to overload my Switch 2 with saved data.

So a very useful step-by-step guide if, like me, you want to keep everything that’s on your Switch as it is whilst still transferring some of the games and saved data to your Switch 2 like ones that have “Switch 2 editions”.
