Selkie Usopp AU - Bartolomeo is very passionate abt selkie and fishman rights, and somehow knows more abt selkies than Usopp and Buggy put together (he needed to know abt Luffy-senpai's beloved's culture lest he offend one of The Strawhats)

Myths & Gods AU - Barto was rejecting gods for his whole life when he got stabbed, his arms broken, kidnapped and thrown into a field to die after a gang fight. He couldn't exactly figure out where the hell he was, only that the place was full of flowers (that were god flowers but he didn't know that). He ended up chewing on a sunflower because the seeds are edible maybe and Luffy appeared like 'Hah! First time In a while I've seen someone do that' and then brought everyone over to see the hobo sleeping in their flowers, and tell Sanji to feed him. Barto will now tell everyone that asks that the gods are awesome and they saved him and he's still a pirate but hes borderline door-to-door Mormon because he just won't stop talking abt how the gods helped him in his lowest hour

One Piece/Fruit's Basket Crossover Au - Barto was a delinquent kid (and still kinda is) that, in middle school, ended up in a gang fight with high schoolers. He and his little gang was losing miserably but then they saw a crying "girl"(Barto wasn't sure at the time) with a broken nose that pointed at the towering highschoolers and Luffy, Zoro and Sanji all came out, Zoro with a baby strapped to his back, and they all proceeded to beat the shit out of those highschoolers. That cemented them as the coolest people Barto knows, but then Luffy went up to him and said he had really cool hair and he looked like Brook. Barto had no idea what that meant but it started his massive fanboy crush as well as his entire gang's matching massive fanboy crushes

Wing AU - pretty much same as canon except Barto's got some wings with a lot of dye in them, so much it's hard to tell what kind of wings they are. He can't control his wings flapping when he's excited and he's always tripping around Luffy because he keeps accidentally flying a centimeter and then falling

Roger's Ghost AU - Bartolomeo occasionally thinks abt killing himself so he can be part of Luffy's ghost posse but he never does, he also does a lot more research into the origins of the strawhat because he doesn't want Luffy to be cursed (he knows about the curse even if none of the crew does, it was by accident)

Sun's Personality AU - Bartolomeo is in denial that Luffy isn't entirely Him, tries his best not to wonder if it was Luffy that inspired him or Nika. He had a bit of a strained relationship with his devilfruit at first but learning that Strawhats liked cohabitation with their devilfruit meant Barto put some effort into actually knowing his devil, and they ended up having more in common even if his devil is very straight-laced and traditional while Barto is Barto

Halloween au - Bartolomeo is a cockatrice that is absolutely obsessed with Luffy and draws fanart that borders on furry art of him All The Time and if anyone says anything derogatory about any of the crew he turns them into stone. He has dog ears that he wears in private

I think if I didn't "get in the way" of his duties to Big Mom, I'd like to be with Katakuri. I'd prove to him that he's handsome and fine just the way he is, and that he deserves love and support too! I feel like I could help him relax more too, since I'm so easygoing and chill.

Nico Robin! Of all the Straw Hats, I relate to her the most. We both struggle with realizing we aren't alone anymore, are quiet/soft-spoken, interested in academics, and considered the most "mature" of the group. Also she's one of the more morally grey Straw Hats (she snapped people's necks, she absolutely fucking murdered them on-screen I don't care WHAT Oda says), and even if I have a moral code it isn't always as kind as say, Chopper's. For similar reasons, I could see myself dating Nami too; I think we'd balance each other out, and together we'd be the moms of the crew.

Law (assuming he'd be willing/able to be in one with all the shit he has going on). I'll get into him more in the "friend section" since I think it'd be the same as dating him, just without the bf/gf shit attached.

(If he tried to curb his Ero-Cook shit and drank a daily dose of "respect ALL women juice") Sanji. I like cooking, especially for others when I know it'll help them even a little bit. And even with what I said earlier about being okay with dark shit amidst certain circumstances and people, I've repeatedly been told that one of my greatest qualities is my sympathy for others. And for his faults, I think Sanji's greatest traits is how sympathetic he can be...even towards people who don't deserve it. Plus we both have fairly shitty relationships with our dads, so YAY, we have daddy issues in common 😚

I'd say Ace, but I'd worry about his severe self-loathing causing him to not be able to function in a relationship. Like just hearing me say "I love you" could cause a whole host of shitty thoughts about how he doesn't deserve love and that being w/ him will only ruin his s/o. Also because, you know, he dies and I wouldnt be able to function. Hell, I'm still barely functioning after his death 🙃

There are more characters I'd wanna date but I don't want this to get TOO long, so here are just some more names: Franky, Reiju, Usopp, Zoro, Bonney, Brook, and Shanks

Friends

Everyone in the Straw Hats, for sure! Reading/watching their adventures already gives me the feeling that I'm already friends/family with them, which I think is Oda's goal when it comes to how he writes.

Ace and Marco. I think having Ace as a friend would be easier for him to handle than an s/o. I mean he still has severe self-loathing regardless, and in-canon he was still so stunned that his own nakama and brother would try so hard to save him. But I think familial and platonic love is something he's more used to receiving, so he wouldn't be AS affected by having another friend...if that makes sense.

Law and I are also fairly similar, at least to how I used to be. I was a lot more closed-off emotionally and when I struggled, I did it alone. I also tended to be VERY suspicious and wary of people trying to manipulate me, and I think Law is so adamant on only maintaining "alliances"/NOT friendships for similar reasons. I think that building a trusting relationship with me would be good for the both of us, and together we'd be able to strategize like no other crew on the planet (I'd even make alternate strategies for when Luffy and co. inevitably deviate from the plan, and would remind Law that he may have to just say "fuck it" and improvise). Any kind of new relationship with Law would probably be a slow-burn, since he's not trusting of most people to begin with. But I'm a very patient and understanding person, so I'd keep that in mind and try not to take it personally.

I don't think it'd last long given who I'm talking about, but I SO want to be friends with Big Mom. She's just so fascinating and I think that she needs an actual friend. Not a bunch of homies, not allies like Kaido, not a MANIPULATIVE ASSHOLE FATHER FIGURE AND LOVER like Streusen. A friend. The closest thing she's had to that were the fellow orphans she ate, and I think that having someone like Mother Carmel (with genuine intentions this time) befriend her might help...like, the whole tangled mess that is her personality/psyche/mindset. I'd travel back in time and kill Mother Carmel, take over the orphanage, and raise those kids myself goddammit.

Buggy. Realistically, I think I couldn't handle dating Buggy; I'd laugh too much whenever he does some ridiculous shit and he'd get upset that I don't take him seriously. But I'd be friends with the dude in a heartbeat!

Mihawk. I think I'd be a bit too coarse for Mihawk's taste, and we'd have a similar relationship that he has with Shanks. Like he'll go "Oh God, this guy again, I don't need this right now" but he'd end up hanging out anyway and enjoying a good time. We're the duo that makes people go "How the hell are they friends?"

 Happy Monday, minna-san! Warm sun and blooming flower buds have arrived. Spring is almost here. I hope everyone is ready to ditch those heavy coats and toasty sweaters. With that said, let’s this show on the road. We got loads of fun to share. First off, last week’s episode intensity is increasing more. We first see Perospero and the rest of the siblings doing their thinking time as they figure how they can get to Wano and hope they can find their mom. At Kuri Wastelands, Big Mom is tagging along with Chopper and the gang heading to Udon as Kiku explains that it’s a long journey to reach the land.  At another hideout, Nami & the gang have finally reached to safe place to hide out for a while because of the scandal. Robin was able to find out most of the stuff she could figure out. Brook tells Robin he found poneglyph stone, but it’s not red like the one from Zou. The girls decided to go to a bathhouse to relax. At the capital, the entire country of Wano mourn for the death of Komurasaki and will be holding a funeral in her honor. Meanwhile, Sanji and the guys are hiding in some shelter and reading the news about Komurasaki and the scandal that the girls have caused. Back in prison, poor Luffy is getting spit on by a jerk gifter name Apalcaman who is half man, half apalca. He’s all bullying the poor captain and just spitting as he’s talking. Yuck! He’s all telling Luffy off that he’ll be punished if he had anything to do with Kid’s escape which that news spread out as well. At the end, Luffy notices as the poor old man Hyou, the prisoner he saved, was getting bullied again and the gifters are forcing to tell him how he got many kibidango. Old man Hyou refused to answer as he mentions a hero he looked up to back then name Hyougoro of the flowers. I guess you could say he was the samurai Robin Hood. Anyway, Luffy had enough of seeing him getting trashed around he rushed to his rescues as the other prisoners begged him to not interfere that would lead to death. At the gate, the fearsome top commander Queen arrived at prison. What in the world is he there for? Who is this Hyougorou of the flowers? Is Kyoshiro an ally or a foe? GAH! So many questions. No chapter this week so it’s a break until next week. Next, this past weekend’s episode was intense. Luffy and Sanji finally made it back to Sunny and the others. Everyone was happy, but not out of the woods. The Germa siblings are keeping the Big Mom pirates away from the gang while back at Chiffon’s island, they arrived and placed the cake on shore. They wait for Big Mom’s arrival to see this moment through hoping that the cake will stop her sugar rush. Back at sea, Judge passes by the gang as he asked Luffy if all this trouble to save Sanji was worth it. He gave no answer and instead thanked him for helping out. It made him angry to hear such answer. At the end, the gang are trapped by all the fleets when suddenly, Wadatsumi and Sun pirates arrived to help Jimbei and the others. Next time, the Sun pirates face the Big Mom pirates while Mama herself is about to enjoy the cake. Will it satisfy her? Or disgust her? Don’t miss it! Now on with the goods. Tongari-san couldn’t be here tonight since March is gonna be busy month, but we got his telegram. He mentions that yummy birthday menu to celebrate Sanji and Sabo’s birthday has been posted. First, they’ll have Sanji’s swirly sausage burger with a black burger to match his suit and yummy potato hearts with some ketchup. For beverage, they have have flambe shot’s orange tea with some whip cream and orange drizzle. You can also order a fountain drink that comes in a plastic bottle of Sanji which is yours for free. (FYI: no BD bromide card). For Sabo’s dish, they have his Night Fire Fist spicy carbonara shrimp ramen with fish cake of his hat. If you order any of these dishes, you’ll get a free BD bromide card. Next, stores will be selling these new pouches of Sunny, Heart pirates, Straw Hat pirates in orange, black, & red color. It will be available on March 12th. The store will also have new tower coins in color of the characters such as Luffy, Chopper, Zoro, Sanji, Ace, Law, & Sabo. It’s 600 yen. Next, Anime Japan will be selling these hamster buttons of the boys including Ace & Sabo for one day. Not sure if other local stores or Animate stores will have them in stock, but you can ask. But this is only sold at the event for now. Next, check out the new visual for the 20th anniversary event at the Umihotaru Passenger Ship in Yokohama. More details of events and goods will be announced later. Next, J-League has announced a collab with OP. They’re selling loads of neat buttons, t-shirts, and hand towel from popular soccer teams. Last, but not least, I hope everyone got a chance to see the new trailer of the new OP movie, Stampede. Last week, Oda-sensei & staff released new sketches of new bad guys: one is named Douglass Bullet who supposedly is a former member of the Gold Roger pirates, and the entertainment MC, Buena Festa. Trailer also released that Law, Smoker, Tashigi, and the Buggy pirates will be in the movie. SO HAPPY! I can’t wait to see them. Today, they have released new designs of the Straw Hats wearing some neat looks. For those who live in Japan, don’t forget this Friday all movie theaters will be selling tickets to the movie and buttons will be given free. Check your local theater form your area. Phew! Myosgard assured him that he will support him in any way he can and even allowed Leo and his crew that they’re given permission to beat up anyway celestial dragon with his permission. Well said chum! At the end, the five elders were talking about the kingdoms and that Vivi’s family are the only ones that w/drew from being celestial dragons so fears that they could be a threat. They arrived at the empty throne only to see someone is sitting on it. The mysterious figure that had Luffy’s bounty poster. The elders kneel before this figure and called him or her, Im-san. Who is this high royal figure? Is this highest authority person above the elders? Guess we’ll know more next week. No chapter this week so be patient and wait. Next, this past weekend’s episode was SCARY! One after another keeps going after Ceasar and Bege, but Germa are doing their best to keep them away from so they can escape over the wall. Suddenly, Luffy and Sanji appeared and saved Reiju from Big Mom’s attack. As they try to escape, Big Mom provokes Luffy for being a coward of running from the fight so he couldn’t handle her taunting and attacked her in full power with gear 4th, but ran out of steam. At the end, the boys are down and in a tight situation. Next time, Luffy, Sanji, and Germa are down for the county until the castle starts tumbling down from an unknown explosion. What caused it? If you succeed to win the games, you’ll be given an official Straw Hat water smartphone pouch that keeps your phone safe. For snack, they’ll be selling a bucket of cotton candy with many flavors such as blue raspberry, yellow lemon, pink peach, green apple, purple grape, white candy, and red strawberry. Loads of yummy flavors. It costs 600 yen. The tower will also be inviting the Straw Hats, Sabo, Law & Bepo, Ann, the clown duo, Buggy and Puggy for a photo greet. At night, they’ll pair Luffy with Sabo or Law as well. You have to be given a ticket if you want get your photo. It’s first come first serve so you have to be at the tower early if you wanna get your ticket before they run out. For July, they’ll have the Straw Hats, Sabo, and Law. Their schedule has been posted on the website. In August, they’ll have Ann, Buggy, and Puggy. Their schedule will be posted later on. Next, shopping goods! They’ll be selling official summer goods such as buttons, acrylic charms/figurines, a candy bag, a ticket holder, and a folder. So much awesome goods! The 3rd floor have also re-stocked more of the character goody bags that comes with a long towel, glow in the dark bracelet, and button set. You have to be inside the tower to purchase them. They have it at the Tongari Island Store. You can’t miss it. Next, prizes! Loads of prizes! The new Ichiban Kuji will be released on OP day which is on July 22nd. Prize A through E are figurines of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Law, and Ace. Prize are mugs, prize G are picture boards of any characters, the special board prize are Luffy & the boys. Prize H are mini plates. They’ll have it available at Straw Hat Stores, Tokyo Tower, and hobby stores. Next, Gashapon machines will be stocking these figurines of Pudding, Nami, and Hancock in their bikinis. It will be released early August. Next, arcades will stock this new Flag & Diamond Ship of Reiju in her alluring black leather outfit. YOWZA! Get those coins ready to win this diva! Moving on, NEW, MUGI MUGI PLUSHIES! This time, they’ll have Sanji and Pudding in their wedding outfits, and the Germa siblings! They’ll be released in early Aug. I believe. Her b-day is on July 3rd. To celebrate her b-day, Straw Hat Stores will be selling her birthday button and bromide frame pic. Next, Straw Hat stores will be selling these fun summer straps of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Nami playing with their water guns. They’re also selling this fan of the gang in their army outfits. Last week, the stores released this stylish hard notebook of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Law. Good for writing notes. Next, FC Tokyo Team will be having an OP event from the upcoming special episode of Skypiea. The team will face off against the Yokohama F Marines. They’ll release a special video message from Luffy at the soccer game. They’ll also have a quiz game for kids and student to enjoy. The game will be held at Ajinomoto stadium at Chofu, Tokyo area.
