Someone is getting a CT scan of her noggin next Friday to get a good look at her TMJs and ears (and teeth). Specialist is under the impression she’s having jaw pain (osteo-arthritis, would not be surprised since an X-ray last month revealed a little in her spine), not tooth pain, so no surgery or anything too crazy. Hopefully this’ll better reveal what care she needs, perhaps even just joint supplements and gentle pain control.

Im still thinking about Belinda. The biggest problem with the finale is not that she became a mother. You could have kept the Poppy storyline and had her become Poppy's mother. But for a character who from the off valued and pushed to have her agency respected, the fact that this child didn't come into her life through any choices she made should have had ramifications. It's the same problem as in Interstellar Song Contest. Belinda recognises that the Doctor is dangerous in episode 1. He essentially kidnaps her and nearly gets her killed multiple times after that so. As much as she can like the Doctor, how does it not become a sticking point to her that the Doctor TORTURED someone and nearly got her killed AGAIN. And then again in Wish World/The Reality War, she has a child, but it's because of Conrad and the Doctor's wish so when she realised this she could have still felt like "I have memories of Poppy and I am her mother and I want to keep her safe" and also "Doctor I just wanted to go home and now my life has been changed so radically without my consent" and when they were discussing the possibility of losing Poppy she should also have had a moment to recognise that because of the Doctor she is facing a huge huge huge loss. The loss of a child is no small thing. What im saying is there were no emotional ramifications that felt truthful to the Belinda of Ep 1 throughout this season. Her character was cheated of any lasting traits and personality. She could have even come to recognise that she wants adventures with the Doctor but still reckoned with the fact that she was right. He is dangerous. He is pretty words and talks of destiny and then wreaking chaos into her life and upending it without her say so. He's like fire. Stand too close and you get burned.

How can you scan and pay quickly with a pay app?
In today’s digital world, paying for purchases or bills is easier than ever, thanks to the “scan and pay” feature on many payment apps. With simple taps and a quick scan, you can complete your payment in seconds, saving time and eliminating the need to carry cash. Here is a guide to scanning and paying quickly with a paid app:
Download and set up the app
To begin, pay app download on your smartphone:
Start by opening App Store or Google Play Store.
Search for the payment app you want, such as Google Pay.
Download and open the app.
Follow the instructions to set up an account by entering your phone number and linking your Bank Account.
Once set up, you can make payments using the scan feature.
Understanding the scan and pay feature
The “scan and pay” feature allows you to make payments seamlessly by scanning a QR code or a small square code with payment information. This feature is perfect for quick transactions at stores, restaurants, or even with friends who use the same payment app.
Locate the scan option in the app
Open your payment app, and you’ll usually find a “Scan” or “Scan and Pay” button on the home screen. This button activates your phone’s camera to scan QR codes. For example, when you open the app, you’ll see the “Scan QR Code” option on Google Pay. Tap on it, and your camera will open automatically, ready to scan.
Scanning the QR code
Once the camera is activated, hold your phone over the QR code displayed at the payment counter or on another person’s phone. Ensure that the QR code is visible within the scanning area. The app will automatically recognise the code; you should see the recipient’s details on your screen. Confirm the recipient’s details before proceeding, as this step ensures your payment goes to the right person or business.
Enter the payment amount and confirm
After the scan, you must enter the amount you wish to easy pay. Here’s how to proceed -
Type in the exact amount to avoid errors.
Double-check the amount and any additional notes you may want to add (like “groceries” or “lunch”) for future reference.
After entering the amount, tap “Proceed” or “Pay Now.”
Complete the payment with your PIN
For security, most payment apps require you to enter a PIN or verify the transaction with biometric authentication, like facial recognition or fingerprint. This step ensures your payment is secure. Enter your UPI PIN or follow the app’s instructions to complete the payment. Once verified, you’ll see a confirmation message indicating the payment was successful.
Save or share the receipt
Most payment apps offer a digital receipt after each transaction, which you can save or share with the recipient. This receipt is proof of payment and includes details like the transaction ID and payment amount.

my fellow anxiety havers what is one of your mundane day-to-day tasks that should by no means be anything remarkable but feels like you are being hunted for sport. i’ll go first: putting all of your groceries on the conveyor belt during checkout is like a long series of quick time events to me
#marzi speaks#it’s bc like. you have a cart Full of groceries#there is a cashier looking to scan the groceries#there is (often) a bagger looking to bag the groceries and put them back in your cart#goal: get as many groceries onto that belt as fast as possible#REMEMBER: heaviest items go first so that nothing gets crushed when the bagger puts the groceries back in your cart#it is so stressful. move so fast ‘which of these items is gonna be heavier’ getting to the end and realizing you missed like 3 cans…#it’s even worse if there are ppl behind you. i live in texas so i can at least make socially acceptable conversation with the cashier#EXCEPT i’m already way overthinking the conveyor belt situation. i’m already frazzled#and now i gotta do small talk? oh god#on the bright side i am so fast at it it’s insane. i move faster than the cashier can keep up with#which is A Good Thing. bc that means i am at max efficiency#but like. WAAAUUGHH#and then u pay and hope the card reader isn’t gonna be a bitch#and you sit there for a moment while the cashier and bagger bag the rest of your groceries#and ur like ‘….should i help should i stay here’#tbh checkout is why i like never go grocery shopping alone if i know i won’t have self check out#bc what if there is no bagger. then i gotta balance Get Groceries On Belt. Pay For Groceries. AND Bag The Groceries#ouh god the time concerns. no . never. you can’t make me do that alone#someone handles the transaction while the other person bags it’s the only reasonable way to do it#i KNOW logically that it is not a big deal. but i hate the idea of making anyone wait for me

didn't get the job, so sent out a couple more applications and am eyeballing a couple others and debating because one is overnight at walmart (i tend to be a night owl but it would shift my schedule around and it's walmart), mail carrier for the next town over (don't know it well), amazon delivery driver (it's amazon), or pct at the local hospital (still not sure if i'm emotionally ready or if i'll risk freezing or breaking down if a code blue goes out) or if i should just take the target job even though it only covers mortgage/utilities and do some comms for food while working to get everything else set up...
trying to motivate myself but man i'm like so frustrated because i feel like i'm waiting on everyone to get back to me so i can get anything done and i really don't have time to do this waiting around

I think the real reason I insist on leaving my house a half hour sooner than I really need to for work in order to go to the grocery store before every shift (rather than just going once a month & getting a haul) is bc it reminds me that as stressful as my job can be, I absolutely can't quit bc the alternative rn is probably "cashier at jewel" & at that point I'd rather be put down like a sick horse. I mean honestly if I ever have to work that kind of job again I'll just throw in the towel, say goodbye to civilized society & start growing heroin poppies in the woods
