hfdjs. I found that first coloured drawing of baby Alucard in my files and was suddenly compelled to draw a bunch of Aria of Sorrow family doodles. That first drawing was made 10 Apr 2023...(it is 20 Apr 2025 now).
IDs are in the alt but they're going under the cut too with closeups.
ID: Coloured doodle of a smiling child Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes, in a little sweater vest with a neck bow. He's smiling so wide you can see fangs. Beside him is a doodle of him as a blueish wolf pup, with its tail wagging. Next to Adrian is a poorly drawn Soma staring at nothing, and mentally he is a loading symbol. 'Congratulations! You're a single father' labels the Soma doodle. End ID]
Also. This was definitely inspired by the fic 'Father of Mine' by TheTurtleFromHell.
[ID: Topdown view of Soma and Adrian sleeping on a couch. Soma's fluffy coat is draped over them like a blanket (it covers Adrian more). They're hugging in their sleep, Adrian tucked into Soma's chest; Adrian has a pained expression, and clutches at Soma's shirt. There's a conversation written next to them:
Soma: Hey, what's wrong?
Adrian: I had a bad dream.
Soma: Want to talk about it?
Adrian: There was a fire...and..you and mother weren't there.
Soma: Then I'll stay here. That way, the dream won't come back. That okay?
Adrian: It is. End ID]
[ID: Part two of the above conversation.
Adrian: I really missed you.
The image switches from the couch to a closeup of Dracula's death. Dracula slumps against Alucard, face unseen, Alucard's sword run bloody through his back. Alucard supports the dying Dracula, face tucked into his shoulder, his one visible eye horrified. He clutches at Dracula's back.
Adrian: I hope this isn't the dream. End ID]
[ID: Mina and Adrian reading a book together on a couch. Mina's pointing to words on the page with a gentle smile.
Mina: This one is Amaterasu, the sun goddess. There's a famous legend about her and a cave...
Adrian: Mhm!
End ID]
[ID: 4 panel comic of Mina and Adrian.
Adrian, holding up a paper: Miss Hakuba! I drew this for you!
Mina, enthused: Really?!
The drawing is shown, Adrian's eager expression peeking out behind it.
Mina: Is that me as Sailor Mars?
Adrian: yes!
Mina: It's so good! You must've worked hard, I'm so proud of you! (the word 'proud' is underlined)
Adrian has a sudden look of surprise/alarm, before fat tears trail down his cheeks.
Mina, worried and reaching out: Adrian? What's wrong?
Adrian: I--*hic*--I don't know...
End ID]

Okay Joseb nation I need your thoughts so weigh in please.
Which is more angsty? Unrequited feelings on the part of Joseph or of Sebastian being used to manipulate the other. Like if Joseph and/or Sebastian were hooked up to another mind delusion network by Ruvik which would hurt more? A fake Joseph chastising Sebastian for leaving him in the wind for so many years and playing on his guilt or a fake Sebastian mentally breaking Joseph by saying he never cared about him at all and that he was burden and didn't need him and now can be happy with his daughters. I'm having fic ideas but like I also just like talking about these scenarios.
#also similar which is more angsty happily married sebastian with myra while joseph watches their family grow#or sebastian being in love with joseph and rescuing him but joseph returns to his wife in the aftermath of TEW2#i like to treat josephs wife and child like a schrodingers cat rhey do and dont exist until its plot necessary#joseb#tew#joseph oda#sebastian castellanos#the evil within

At this point i am 100% convinced that tim simply does not know what he wants to do in season 9 or beyond. Everything has been left deliberately ambiguous because he is a plastic bag floating on the wind. Why was Bobby's death so weird? Tim doesn't know whether he wants to bring him back or not. Why didn't they officially pick a captain at the end of the season? Tim wants an out. Why did they do All That in 811 to never bring it up again? They might. He hasn't decided yet. Why did they have Buck looking for an apartment rather than moving into one? Tim's not sure if he wants to do roommates era or not. The finale felt unsatisfying because literally nothing was decided. There was no indication or setup for the next season because they literally have no idea what they're going to do. Hell, as much as I hate to admit it they even have a hanging thread with bt that they can choose to pull on if they feel like it. All the hints and dropped threads and unfinished foreshadowing are THERE and I believe they are there deliberately. If they never get picked back up it's because tim arbitrarily decided not to. He's just keeping his options open. Because he has no fucking idea what he is doing.
#911 spoilers#timothy minear has literally one job (decide what to do on the show) and the man is REFUSING to do it#because it's all there!!! it's been put there because he doesn't know what to do!!!!#he wants us to think he's playing 5d chess but all he's really doing is keeping every conceivable avenue open to his whims#which includes foreshadowing a million plots that may or may not come to pass#so if he decides to do it he can point back and be like. look!! look aren't i so so smart it was all right there!!!#ignoring the mountain of other plots he ALSO foreshadowed but decided not to do#it's especially blatant with bobby because some of the things there are. blatant.#the whitecoats line and the fact that they didn't show the body especially#he CAN get away with not picking that back up but if he decides to there's enough there to point to#this is how he has written everything. buddie. captain chim. schrodinger's bobby. enough hints that he can do it but nothing decided#idk i guess what I'm trying to say is we're NOT crazy the stuff IS there and even if it doesn't come to anything#i truly believe it was PUT there#anyway send tim to nashville 2k25

I'm not narcissistic* I just unrelatedly have a complicated relationship with self esteem a need for external validation a constant hunger for attention trouble connecting with humans and struggles with delusions of grandeur due to trauma some of which can impair my ability to function not everything is the last disorder I learned about and tried to understand with my big broken empathy that often overshoots and does things like make me feel drunk if I think about a drunk person for top long without ever having been drunk
*this post is pro NPD I'm just anti incorrectly self diagnosing myself because if I wasn't I'd be hoarding all the disorders
#sfw#personal#ok to reblog#am I being sarcastic? no... unless I am but I'm not but I could be if I was but I can't be cuz I ain't#which is to say that I don't even know it's intentionally vague it's Schrodinger's sarcasm#if it's silly to say I'm not narcissistic then I'm sarcastic but if it's incorrect to say that I am narcissistic then I'm not sarcastic#but I'm not. right? because I shouldn't be because that would be weird because I'm not. right? I'm not because that's not mine.#oh actually I know what I'm trying to say it's that I never suspected this when I was younger and everything else I kinda already knew#I can't just have a disorder that had 0 foreshadowing#that's not a real reason but it explains why I've felt like it inherently shouldn't be a thing#regardless there are logical reasons to deny it but it's nice to know where that less rational feeling came from#my life doesn't do shock value plot twists it's all about the foreshadowing. to the point of um.#yeah no that's like uh. I'm gonna stop now that's prime delusion material.#tw unreality#cw unreality#because I believe my life must adhere to narrative rules and that's a thing I'm aware isn't supposed to be real 👍#what was I talking about#I think I was done really. send post.

I just love Secretive Plotter.
He's a walking, talking dumpster fire. Trash fave. He's the biggest loser in the entire book. He's been hanging around Kim Dokja's channel from the very start and yet still somehow thought it would be a good idea to send Kim Dokja to assassinate Yoo Joonghyuk. He has no idea what he's doing. I guarantee you he himself didn't know why the hell he kidnapped Kim Dokja, so he just went "You're smart, figure it out" while internally going "Nailed it!". He spent pretty much the whole book wearing Kim Dokja's white cloak and a veil waiting for his prince on a white ferrarghini. He made a deal with the devil, then found out he'd sold his soul to himself, fucking up twice and earning a headache that would last 40 000 years. He's one of the very, very few characters to earn an unambiguous happy ending.
Dude's nickname is Secretive Plotter. He is terrible at being secretive and he's shit at plotting.
I'm lowkey pissed we'll never find out what would have happened if Kim Dokja had accepted his sponsorship offer back after the first scenario. Schrodinger's Ouroboros. The disaster that we've lost.

Grant me the power to bring the world revolution!

Rgu au for oubing... close ups + misc doodles under cut

Anyways jiaozi nezha in general reminds me of a magical girl: herald/icon of hope against "dark" forces, has a cool transformation, and a homoerotic frienemy /lhj.
Rgu especially bc of the similar plot themes of the transition between youth and adulthood, revolutionizing the world by breaking through your youth/the endless predetermined cycle of nezha killing ao bing and ascending to a new existence (nezhas saint body) at the end of the world. The idea of dying to bring life (utena schrodinger dying to uncover the real anthy, ao bing dying in fsyy as one of nezha's predetermined killing precepts to fulfill nezha's destiny as the lingzhu)

Rgu fits? Ngl I'm not super satisfied with it but it's wtvvv LOL

Snake/dragon mouth ao bing, meme, and my opera nezha doing shiva's dance. I love how Asian religions influence and inform each other

MASH really is the show ever. Schrodingers sitcom. Themes that are still relevant today. Literal psychic who cannot be tainted by the mirror universe (the movie). Every shot and plot line that frames Frank/Margaret and Hawkeye/Trapper as rival couples. BJ Hunnicutt's gay swag. Klinger's everything. The delivery of every single line for Charles. Something in the water that makes people insane about guys who were on screen for four minutes. A head surgeon who needs to get pregnant. Show ever.

I think folks need to get more comfortable going "I know that's canon but I don't care" instead of insisting that something they don't like isn't canon.

That's all I'm asking from Part 13 of Chapter 7.
It's to see Malleus, of course. Where to go without him. We've been waiting for two years.
But…
Show Yuu's Visions. PLEASE
I'm serious, we haven't seen them since the beginning of OB Malleus.
Silver travels through dreams. Technically, Yuu is not in a dream and in a dream at the same time. (Schrodinger's cat with a Chekhov shotgun is a crazy combination) Theoretically, Silver's unique magic can work when Yuu sees visions? I hope so.
This will be a great plot preparation for chapter 8. They can make it clear to the guys that there is something worse than Malleus. Unexpectedly for them.
Imagine the horror for Prefect when they realize that once they bring Malleus to reason, the story from the prologue will follow. And they don't have anything that can withstand such a huge force. Desperation twisted to the maximum
In the end, Yuu can see some events that have not yet occurred in Chapter 7, but for the first time they can change it, or at least show it. "Guys, we don't do that. otherwise, someone will die."
Involve Yuu and Grimm at least a little bit in the plot, otherwise it's already starting to get very annoying.

Why I think Byler is endgame
Before we start, you must know I'm really skeptical about theories and all. I like to read and have fun with them, but believe them? It's really hard for me as a 20 years old queer person. Since young I've suffered being queerbaited by mainstream series, Stranger Things wouldn't be the first nor the last to do that.
I know today things are a little bit better, but for the sake of my poor broken heart, I'm always expecting a deception. Yet, I can see byler happening in season 5.
Here we go to the reasons why.
The existence of Robin
I've heard a lot of straight people say, before season 4 and even now, that "Will can't be gay because Robin is the gay person in the show. There is no reason for another one".
Like? The show can have 38272 straight, developed and important for the plot characters, all of them with love interests and happy endings, and one gay character inserted as a comic relief is fine. Two? To much to deal with.
I know, I know, disgusting. BUT what if I say that Robin was not a character added to the show only for a comic relief or identity representation at all? That she was presented for the watchers to consider the existence of a gay character in the show. For them to recognize some queer coded things that, without Robin, they wouldn't be able to?
Robin was presented to us in Season 3. As we must know, the third season of the show is mainly dedicated to character and relationships development. Thanks to it, we got to see the characters way more cylindrically, their fears, mistakes, who they are in their normal daily life. Mike, El, Hopper, Joyce, Erica and Steve gained many new layers in this season, but Will had the most special one: the first explicit hint of his sexuality.
And then, Robin appears. At first we are conditioned to think she likes Steve, the Duffers play a game with the watchers' heteronormativity using the dubiousness of their dialogs. And then, boom! She is lesbian. Not only lesbian but repressedly in love with a girl - at least was - and jealous of Steve.
Thanks to this coming out scene
The interpretation door was open to see this as Will being in love with a boy, repressing his feelings and being jealous of the girl the boy is dating with.
Will's jealousy and feelings for Mike back then stamped the background of everything, it was being slowly built inside the show - but not inside the character, remember the Snow Ball script? It was always there, just unseen.
Until here we are only remarking that Will is gay. But what Robin has to do with byler as a ship?
Well, if she is the queer character created to open this door for Will, created to gain the sympathy of the general public as comic relief character who bonded with two of the most popular characters of the show - Dustin and Steve - since s3, showing the watchers the struggles of a queer person in the 80's in a "light" way and making the viewers to cheer for her love life, of course her character holds a big role with byler building a romantic relationship.
Robin appeared in Season 3 because the viewers wanted Milven to happen in season 2 - thanks to the heteronormativity and kids sexualization I may say - when it wasn't going to, it wasn't scripted like this and it's not going to be endgame. So Robin's creating a scape route for the writers.
The hints given about Will being called a f@g and Mike over protective and supportive behavior with Will were not enough to create this bridge between friends and lovers as we know very well.
Movie Date and Schrodinger Cat
Moving on. We know Will is gay. Okay. What is still uncertain in the show is Mike's sexuality and required feelings towards Will. Here, we are focusing in the required feelings part.
I read a lot of analysis about the "movie date scene". I remember people discussing the blushing frame and the holding hands theory even before s4 coming out and at the time it sounded like joke to me - as I said I'm really skeptical. Yet, after rewatch the part and reading a lot (especially @greenfiend 's one about the holding hands thing), I feel like I finally understood why the scene is so spoken of.
It's pretty simple, it's another open door. Not like Robin who is there to guide us to read between the lines but as something that is open to interpret and rely on when they finally get together. It was made for when people start to question "where did this relationship came from?" and create assumptions like "it came out of the nowhere".

In the scene, Lucas, Max, Mike and Will go to Starcourt's movie theater to watch a horror movie together. When arguing about Mike's behavior, Lucas remarks that he is spending romantic time with his girlfriend by going there. When they are finally inside, lumax and byler sits separately, then things start to get really fishy.
The construction of the whole next part, when they are inside the movie theater, from the beginning of the movie to the black out and end of the scene, are basically hands. Hands everywhere. In the close ups, in the people around them and even in the movie. Why? For us to see it, to think of it, to imagine. To imagine what? It's up to you of course, but we know people hold hands at movie theaters, specially when watching a horror movie, and we also know byler is the main focus on that scene for some reason.

But they didn't show us their hands, did them? No. Because of that, no one can really say they were holding hands, but the same can't be said about them not holding their hands. The construction of the scene deliberately leads us to question the possibility, however there is no true answer. Like the Schorodinger Cat, they are holding and not-holding their hands.
Also, the "are you okay?" Mike says, the camera play and Noah's acting leads us to think that, if they are holding their hands, it was Mike's initiative, not Will's.
The whole scene is purposefully dubious.
Noah looks down at his hand at the end of the interaction, up again, and then smiles. It's there but they don't show us! At the same time, if it was an unromantic moment, they would've shown us they were holding hands as they did before, so why not? Why do they keep the whole thing subtle, calculated, and masked by the MF plot if not to hold a secret meaning behind it all. A secret meaning for us to discover yet.
Like pleaseee, I swear this is some kind of torture for us gay people.
Mike's character construction and Finn's acting
I'm a ST fan since the beginning. I was here when the major public liked Jonathan better than Steve, when Mike was the favorite member of the party, and Finn was treated as one of the best child actors of the show. Looking back, it's pretty obvious things changed a lot since the third season.
Why things changed? In the last two seasons, Finn was accused of being "out of the character" and "having a bad acting". And Mike turned into a douchebag in public eyes.
The truth is: the way the writers had chosen to show us Mike changed. He still is the same insecure, paranoic, loyal, compassionate character who is a jerk sometimes from the beginning, but we didn't get the chance to see his POV since s2.

Mike is a character trapped in the expectations of the viewers. They expected him to date El, to love El as a girlfriend, to treat her the way she deserves - what he can do, but clearly not as a boyfriend. Their relationship wasn't scripted the way it happened, so his character needed to go through some changes to remain himself. And, of course, for mlvn to end, the viewers needed to hate his version with El. Again, it is a scape route.

His character is still the same, but the way we see him is different. The truth is the viewers expected Mike to acts towards El the way he did with Will after they started dating: unconditionally supportive, trusting, and understanding, but guess what? This was never on Mike's character to begin with.
He doesn't understand, trust, or support people unconditionally. They are showing how much he is inflexible and selective in what he wants to believe since the very first episode, we can see that in the relationship with his family and friends. Just remember his fights with Lucas in s1, s2 and s4 and Dustin in s2 and s3, they are his CHILDHOOD FRIENDS, but even them don't have the pleasure of Mike's unconditionally support and trust. The only character he is truly open to is Will.
These changes were made for us to see the difference between Will and the rest of the world for Mike. In season 3, when he appears to be a jerk to everyone, no exception at all, the only person he seems to retract this behavior for is Will. In season 4, Mike fights El and Will, but again, the only one he seems to understand and retract from his defenses for is Will. Again, the only person he is really open with.

Now, speaking about sexuality, the other reason for people to blame Finn's acting is the awkwardness in kissing and intimate scenes - like the first I love you he heard from his girlfriend.
I don't know about you, but for me, it is almost painful to watch them kissing. Not only kissing, the whole dating thing looks like a performance, and it's not a good one, if I may say. But here is the thing, it's on purpose! The same goes for the looks he gives Will's and Eddie's body.
Don't even think that every look, expression, or camera play is not calculated. These people spend so much money in the show for it to be half assed by bad acting or misinterpretation of the script.

If you know there's a lot of typos in your fic why don't you use a beta?
The main reason is because it's my fic and I'm doing it for fun, but a good secondary reason is because I would like chapters to actually get written and posted. I want to minimize my instinct to futz with a piece forever. I could have a beta, the story would probably be stronger for it, but a beta would add another layer to the process of updating. When I feel like a chapter is done, I want to get it up before I change my mind. Whenever I post a chapter, it's almost always with the thought, 'ugh this isn't what I wanted, but it's good enough." I almost always like the chapter better after it is published and I can't make substantial changes to it anymore. And because this is a WIP with a vague outline, I need to lock in what's canon in my fic so I can work on the next chapters. If I have Schrodinger's plot elements, I can't meaningfully work on later parts of the story because I don't know exactly what happens in the earlier parts.
I'm never offended or upset when someone points out a typo I can fix. I consider it a favor that spares me some embarrassment and the effort of finding those mistakes myself (which I promise, I do try to do). Maybe next chapter in the notes, I'll be like the first person to find five typos gets an in-universe one paragraph ficlet of their choice.
And again, can't stress this enough: I'm having fun and gettin silly with it.

the thing about shao yuanyuan is that she's so important to me. btw. middleaged deadbeat mother timelooping to save her dead-not-dead husband who was associated with something infinitely shady (-> why is he dead. why can't she save him. what is she doing. what are the mechanics of what she's doing. cheng weimin what are you up to (besides being schrodinger's cat-in-a-timeloop)) and she's flippant and insincere except for the parts of her that are so sincere and her son is in front of her, all grown up without her having watched it, and she's bringing up a highlight reel of his elementary school most-embarrassing moments to prove her identity with zero shame about it. she knows how to fight well enough to hold her own against vein. she loves her son and she won't go back. she made a choice and it's horrible and she made it anyway. she's a timetraveller and dedicatedly fucking up the past and parallels her son's partner. she's infinitely tied to the overarching plot, we can assume (-> said hoping desperately for a backstory sequence in s3), and it makes me want to sink my teeth into the lore there forever.
#kavi.txt#sorry !!!! i love it when women are crazy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!#you can easily tell this by opening my ao3 profile. however. shao yuanyuan i'm in love with you. shao yuanyuan just one chance.#my taste in characters is upsetting and humiliating except for the middleaged women who kind of suck. those are fine <3#someone join me in the syy tag on ao3. etc.#shivi don't look at this </3#link click

If fighting vampire nazis, gore and guns wasn’t the focus of hellsing, what do you think the actual plot/main conflict could have been? I came across a post where you said alucard is wasted potential so … what kind of plot would show his potential? Also, what kind of a character arc do you think he should have had in a better and more thoughtfully plotted hellsing
Well I wouldn’t say the story isn’t thoughtfully plotted out :C
Like yes, it’s an over the top, campy, gorefest that makes no sense, but it succeeds in what it’s trying to do basically. I think it is genuinely, astonishingly good in a few ways. Hirano is fantastic at pacing and using his panels to give the impression he wants— when he bothers. And it’s surprisingly sound when it comes to structure and thematic motifs? The external plot is bonkers, but the way it handles these characters dealing with/being consumed by their pasts, and the way it uses vampirism/monstrosity as a metaphor is really solid.
Hellsing’s main thematic argument is one of comparing monstrosity and humanity, and pitting them against each other.
All the relevant monsters in Hellsing are presented to be unmoored, destructive, and unable to cope with the present in a meaningful way. They are defined by being incapable of moving beyond their pasts, so they seek out as much destruction as they can until they finally find something that can destroy them in turn. (This is consistent throughout the series but most clearly stated in volume 9)
All the monsters presented in Hellsing grapple with the inability to move on. Explicitly, Millennium’s entire raison d’être is bringing about a final “glorious” war they can die in because the modern world has no place for them anymore. They fight with fucking zeppelins. They’re relics.
Seras’ fight with Zorin hinges on a flashback, digging up all the trauma she never confronted. Walter and Alucard’s final battle is entirely about their history, and it has both of them looking like they did during the Dawn era.
Meanwhile, when Anderson uses the Nail of Helena (directly following the unraveling of Iscariot, and the death of Maxwell, who may as well have been his son), that is him refusing to cope. That is what drives him to monstrosity, to self destruction. That’s why he dies.
And Alucard, as the de facto protagonist, has spent the entire plot with the single motive of finding someone worthwhile to defeat him. He has no personal motivations outside of doing whatever Integra/Hellsing tells him to, and just… killing things for the love of the game until he eventually, finally dies. And his past hangs heaviest on the series. The entire present state of the series basically hinges on the shit he did as Dracula. The one thing we know about this guy is that if he could, he would very much like to die while killing things.
Anderson is meanwhile his main foil and most strongly represents the past/the siren song of death to him. He’s suspiciously similar in appearance to Van Helsing in the Bela Lugosi movie (despite Van Helsing looking different in the series itself) Meanwhile each encounter with him is immediately followed by a flashback, and then in that final fight Alucard ends up confronting his past human life.
And he almost gives up during that last fight, until Seras (a representation of the present and future) rouses him out of it. That’s his first real choice to move on. But it’s also established that eventually his past is going to catch up to him, and outweigh his future. It’s treated as a foregone conclusion, even if he’s not to that point yet.
So the Schrodinger thing at the end is really interesting. Because bullshit anime logic or not, the point is that he explicitly has to kill every single familiar he’s accumulated over the centuries, in order to exist in the present. Even then he’s “everywhere and nowhere” (lmao. whatever) which basically gives him the option to fizzle out of existence? So the epilogue existing at all, despite my various annoyances with its writing choices, is an interesting culmination of his arc! He chose to come back to his silly little found family when he really didn’t have to! I like that as an arc.
And in any sort of restructure I would want that preserved, even if the entire plot isn’t conveyed through boss battles. Anyway I’ve said for ages that I would want a monster of the week version of the series, so probs something like that.
Something with like the BTVS (or Supernatural lol) classic structure of small fry enemies per episode that culminate in a season arc/big bad. The ideal tonal and stylistic comparison would be X Files, but their overarching narratives famously sucked. Anyway I just would’ve liked a procedural vibe like that. I think the implications of Integra taking over the Badrick situation in the first volume is really interesting. And Seras being a police officer who was super not in the know— when higher ranking people are— was something that could’ve been explored in much more depth. I would’ve loved to see her as a recurring character in their like procedural episodes who keeps brushing up against this weird paranormal leaning stuff she doesn’t understand, until she finally gets involved in something that goes wrong and has to be turned into a vampire (ostensibly to save her life… but maybe to keep her quiet)
I also would love more intra organization drama that doesn’t result in immediate blood shed. We’re told that Iscariot and Hellsing have clearly mapped out jurisdictions based on majority religion, and treaties and diplomatic relationships, however strained. Maxwell going “fuck your treaties” is apparently a new thing, so like how does that go! What are the repercussions! What brought this on! And like are there any other similar organizations abroad? Are there team ups? I would like there to be team ups.
Meanwhile the existence of the round table implies that… the entire UK government.. is a sham? That they’re actually living in a secret feudal society? I want to know about the families and the politics and the very likely cartoonish degrees of corruption! The original Studio Gonzo show, very poorly, implemented a plotline where Hellsing became too much of a liability and the Queen specifically decided (lol) to have them publicly labeled as a terrorist organization and arrest everyone involved, pretending that they never had any government ties. That was fun! I would like a good version.
Or like it’s set in the 90s, let’s talk about how much harder it’s going to be to keep the supernatural quiet with the rise of technology, and the Internet. Like idk there’s room for a lot! I would basically just love to see a more sprawling version of this story and world.
My main issue with Alucard also is just that he’s so overpowered physically, that it seems like a waste to always put him in fights where he is 100% no question going to win. Putting him on a ship because the plot simply wouldn’t happen if he was there is 😭😭😭 I think we can have some boss battles, gore, and body horror, bc that is fun and the main series identity. But he just needs more restraints. I’d put more focus on him answering to Integra, who in turn answers to the slow moving machine that is bureaucracy, and just not let him do as much, and with severe consequences if he gets too out of line to maintain some stakes. Meanwhile, having a more mystery procedural approach would’ve balanced things out a bit more imo!
