A/N: After hitting maxed pity on Herta's banner along with her LC, I decided to make an interesting crossover because I thought it would be interesting to see how this goes for The Herta! Reader Insert. (Huge bonus that I'm blessed with good stats while I'm building her. 🙏)

And Who Exactly Are You in the SCP Foundation?

You are Anomaly [REDACTED], a Level 6: CTS entity classified under Euclid. They don’t fully understand what you are—just that you exist, that you have an unsettling level of influence, and that you are playing the longest of long games.

You don’t act out. You don’t cause destruction. You don’t try to escape. Instead, you watch. You let them wonder why you haven’t done anything drastic, knowing full well that the moment you choose to tip the scales, everything changes.

The Real Question is...Why You Haven’t Given Him a Permanent Host (Yet)?

ok so i dont have designs for everyone yet and i dont really know who should be scientists vs not but i do know that etho is a bug because he deserves it.

boi needs four arms and buggy hands and too many eyes and a weird sort of carapace because hes a freak and deserves to be visually just as fucked up/affectionate

i think he and bdubs share an enclosure because they are more cooperative when around eachother and the facility likes that it doesn't have to waste space on an extra container. they're pretty closely monitored tho, just in case, although its generally accepted that etho would never hurt his cellmate.

although, there have been a few incidents where bdubs has mysteriously disappeared from containment despite none of the security being tampered with- he always seems to vanish just when no one is watching the cameras, but by the time a security team is alerted and reaches the cell, bdubs is right back where they left him. no one can figure out how he keeps vanishing, and the tapes cant find anything strange either. //although the moss thing is suspiciously more... damp.. when he reappears//

• When you first met Cain, your sweet and kind nature allured him. He became.. curious, so to speak. Strangely obsessed with admiring you while you’d work with people. Becoming a tad bit jealous when your attention wasn't fixated upon himself. He wouldn't let these thoughts come to light. Not now anyways.

•Always, Cain offered a helping hand. Did you need any assistance carrying that heavy bag? Or perhaps you wanted a glass of water? You could always see him at your service, watching your skilled hands heal others with a passion.

• It had taken him a few months to develop feelings. Cain first believed it was a wonder, why hadn't you excluded him from your table where you would sit? Did you not find his voice uncanny?

• He had once asked what your occupation in the foundation was, what the foundation declared your function as a cog in one of their elaborate machines. This was the depressing reality. • A rational part of his mind was disgusted at his concerning thoughts. He justified it with a wild vigour.

• Every time you discovered your bouquet of flowers, you noticed the hearts had been painted less messily and with more ease, the streaks of red paint precise and pristine.
