A #SeabirdSaturday / #SeabirderSaturday that’s a little different…perusing the @pawsplett Charity Shop (as one does after just moving house), I decided to look into their books section (as a minimalist, something I RARELY do, especially in this age of most anything being available digitally). And boy, was I rewarded! How on earth I came across copies of popular ornithological books signed by THE Ralph W. Under her tutelage (& alongside our great teams of colleagues!), I’m wrapping up development of a (hopefully effective) plan for protecting migratory shorebirds during mouse eradication on Midway Atoll…In addition to her mentorship, it's great to hear stories from her varied career in the field.
