Pretending to be People is a mystery/horror/comedy actual play podcast using the roleplaying systems of Delta Green and Pulp Cthulhu. Created by a group of best friends with prior experience roleplaying together in this system, it's able to dive right into the action and take off running. And boy howdy, everything sure does happen so much.

Features homebrew stories written by the GM and an original soundtrack created by one of the cast. Ok but regarding Nick and Charlie's chat history where they were talking about the movies (ep 7), Nick said Sai organised it right? And I bet he had already planned on not inviting Ben and Harry, without Nick asking him to, because he knows that they aren't good people and he probably knew that Nick would have wanted to invite Charlie. So he wanted for there to be a comfortable environment, where maybe Charlie could bond more with the team outside of rugby, and also just because he knows that Charlie is important to Nick, so he wanted to get closer to him too.

Imagine how Sai and Christian and Otis were probably looking forward to a chill night with no drama, getting closer to Charlie and also just getting to hang with Nick again, because at that point Nick was probably starting to pull away from the team, what with him realising that most of his friends weren't the best people. Not to mention that in the comics, the boys sort of already suspected that Nick and Charlie were together, so if that's true for the show as well, maybe they were hoping to make them feel comfortable enough that their friend could trust them with this news.

And then imagine how they felt when they saw Harry and Ben show up. And what they must have been thinking and feeling when they saw how Harry was picking on Charlie after the movie. The looks on their faces as they stood back and watched Nick confront Harry, because inside they agree with Nick entirely, but they aren't brave enough to speak out yet.

If Harry and Ben never showed up, just think about how different it could have been. Everyone would have been more relaxed, and Charlie would have been less reserved. I don't know if Nick would have said anything about them, but considering he was brave enough to hold Charlie's hand in the cinema while Sai was sitting next to him, who knows, he probably might have.

Basically, I need to see more of the rugby lads in season 2, and them just being good friends to Nick and telling Harry to piss off because they really are good people.
