Binah spontaneously gaining cat ears and a tail due to some Abnormality or another. her clerks and agents gather around her in a wave of anxious chatter, contemplating what to do. she's not really listening. this isn't nearly the worst thing that's ever happened to her. if anything, the most irritating part is how much she's being crowded, how loud everyone is to her now much more sensitive hearing. the door to the common room opens, and her ears flick as she idly tilts her head to see who came in.

Binah's eyes land on you, and her pupils immediately dilate. it's not obvious. her irises are nearly the same color, after all. but the telling twitch and lash of her tail is less easy to hide.

without saying a word, Binah leaves her other subordinates and makes her way over to you. there's little time to process her new features before she's standing right in front of you, staring silently with a quiet, slow blink. she leans closer, and with uncharacteristic gentleness, bumps her forehead against your own, then your cheek, then brushes the tip of her nose over yours. her hands raise and begin to slowly knead the tense muscles in your shoulders as a soft, steady purr echoes from her chest.

Binah unabashedly nuzzles against you, and your coworkers look on, dumbfounded.

MALKUTH HEADCANONS I REQUIRE

The reason why she only refers to employees by their ID is because employees die so often in her department that she’s stopped bothering to learn their names. Anyways

I imagine she admires Chesed’s work ethic, but still doesn’t lead her department in the same way he does because she thinks, with how forgetful and clumsy she is, she’d probably never be able to just juggle so many different tasks like he does (especially when half of those tasks are supposed to be done by the employees…)

She did, however, tried to get herself hooked on coffee like him, thinking it would improve her performance, but eventually decided that it wasn’t for her (which, given Roland’s reaction to it in LoR, is probably less out of personal taste and more out of how Chesed brews coffee…)

However! Where there’s a will, there’s a way, and Malkuth doesn’t give in so easily! So instead, she settled for blue WellCheers cans, which actually did the job surprisingly well…

…until an incident where she suddenly went missing overnight after an employee failed to notice the can they were delivering to her was opened.

The employee was fired, Malkuth herself was replaced, and now giving WellCheers cans to her is one of Lob Corp’s many weirdly specific rules.

Another weirdly specific rule is ‘do not let Malkuth read Dream of a Black Swan’s profile’.

Elijah isn’t too uncommon a name, but I think we can all imagine how freaky it would be to read about such horrible things happening to someone who literally shares the same name as you.

On the whole, she doesn’t allow herself to get much free time. She’s always itching for something to do, and on the very rare occasion that she checks off everything she needs to do in her notebook… she’ll just find something worth her time!

Thus, you know the story of those random days in the company where she starts randomly storming in and out of various departments asking if she can be assistance with her typical cheery attitude, but a hint of desperation behind it.

Various employees have compared her to the Queen of Hatred when she gets like this.
