Gonna say something controversial.

Ford Pines is a nuanced character who is neither good nor bad. Absolving him of his crimes is actively a detriment to his character and does a disservice to the storytelling of Gravity Falls, but defining him exclusively by his mistakes without taking the time to understand him is a purposefully bad faith take that actively makes your enjoyment of the show worse.

He is neither a good or bad person, because "good" people and "bad" people aren't real. There's just people. And people fuck up sometimes.

If no one fucked up and if no one held onto those fuckups sometimes out of sheer desperation, the world of fiction would be way more boring, unengaging, and dull.

Ford Pines is a mess and I don't want him to be sanitized or demonized. I just want him to be a mess.

Can we just agree that wether or not dream sent the nsfw thier is a situation there? tubbo is being nice and he can feel its fine but SOMEBODY from the dsmp sent nsfw to a gc where minors (idc about the age of consent in the uk the age of consent in america is 18 where most of them live) is not good? This is what sadist was cancelled for? Idk why both tubbo and dream are trying to push past it. Who was sending nsfw drawings in a gc with three minors. We should all be addressing this. Somebody, who was not Dream, (it seems Dream was not on the call), sent a skephalo nsfw image while people were in vc talking about people making nsfw art of their characters. This made Tubbo uncomfortable, although he didn't express it in the moment.

Okay those are our facts. So let me go into the very scary space of my opinions.

First of all, we are not the ones who get to choose how this should be handled, Tubbo is. Tubbo felt uncomfortable, and Tubbo is the one who gets to decide if he needs or wants am apology from the creator who sent it.

There is no need for us to go into a witch hunt for that creator either. The thing is, people fuck up sometimes, that's normal. I fuck up often, and that's part of being a human person.

Nsfw art is not evil, neither is sex, and I while I won't discuss whether fans should be drawing that or if creators should be interacting with it, I can say that there's nothing we can do about that now. It's been literally 5 years.

I hope if Tubbo still feels like it's needed he can go talk with that creator and explain that he felt uncomfortable by it and receive an apology, but you and I will not be there.

There was recently a discussion in the discord server about who is stronger between He Xuan and Shi Wudu, and I believe it's Shi Wudu. You could even say they're equals, but He Xuan is not stronger and he knows it.

Shi Wudu is thee water tyrant with two heavenly tribulations under his wing. He is the only god who was actually able to change fate. His last speech was not a bluff. He created everything he has for himself. He Xuan, in order to achive what he was, copied him. He Xuan's name is 'ship sinking black water' for a reason. He Xuan can be called the white shark if you want but Shi Wudu was the orca of the waters.

But Noot, He Xuan ripped his head off.

I know. That doesn't decide who's stronger tho. This arc has no winners, let me remind you of that. You can't tell who is stronger based on who lived and who died.

He Xuan knows that the only thing in life Shi Wudu actually cares for is Shi Qingxuan. Shi Wudu does everything for qingxuan and he will not consider anything a loss if it is good for Qingxuan. Shi Wudu has one rule: end justifies the means. He will trample everything for Qingxuan, as long as his sibling is safe. and He Xuan knows it. The only way to defeat shi wudu is to take qingxuan away from him, and so he does what he did. he decided to lure qingxuan away from shi wudu. That's was why he did with the two options in the end. he gave the brothers options. he told shi wudu to subject qingxuan to harm (which he would never) And he gave qingxuan the option to kill shi wudu (which he refused to do) That was why and how He Xuan failed because he could not separate the brothers.

shi wudu told him that to his face. he cannot bring his family back and he cannot take the live of luxury that qingxuan has already lived. he has failed. that drove he xuan to madness and then when Shi Wudu moved on to take shi qingxuan with him, the only way he xuan could seprate the brothers was to kill one and keep the other alive!

he could have killed shi qingxuan, but that would leave shi wudu alive and if ge is alive, he xuan will be in danger so he leave qingxuan alive and kills Shi Wudu.

there was in fact no victor in the arc. which is why you do not decide who is stronger based on who lived and who died. You decide based on their actions and their characters.
