This is now somewhat avail for both versions of the game in S3SS if you go into Streaming -> Throttle checkbox or use the preset file (which will help a lot more). The patch for lot loading on view is still steam only tho but tbh doesn't make a huge difference, it's also in S3SS under patches.

Thought this deserves its own post since I'm still bugfixing the new Sims3SettingsSetter (hopefully not for long...)

A fix for stutter at last! Well, close enough.

This enables a debug variable called "Throttle Lot LoD Transitions" that, you guessed it, throttles lot LoD transitions. What this means is that lots no longer all load at once causing horrific stutter, instead just a bit of a dip. I've also done a small additional patch that should™ remove the frustum/view component of lot loading (might be unloading? not sure, need to look into it further), so you can spin (in place) to your hearts content without loading lots.

There's a lot of related settings to further tweak how the lots are throttled (15 total under streaming), but that'll be something for S3SS. Likewise, this is STEAM ONLY, if you're on EA or another version, this will all be settable in S3SS. I haven't had any issues reported with it thus far, but feel free to message me w/ the details of any crashes (along with any xcpt logs), likewise if you don't see any difference, please also message me. It's a very simple patch and shouldn't mess with anything.

Super embarrassed I didn't find this sooner since I looking for a way to throttle lots loading and there's literally a setting called Throttle lots....

i like putting two random symbols that wouldn't normally be typed but are easily accessible as the tag (ie text{{ is good because you wouldn't normally invert squiggly brackets at the start or end of a message) but anything is good as long as it is both A: easy and B: hard to unintentionally send and C: not mixupable with other proxies

then i use autoproxy latch (pk;ap L) which saves having to constantly proxy tag messages (you will need a proxy for the host)

and pk;rp NAME will resend messages as the correct proxy if you mess up (take advantage of display names to avoid having to type "pk;rp fern | she/her" or just a long name like going "frie" -> "frieren")

The other games are also fun though with less exposure i will admit i bounced off city of mist the most, I DO really badly want to play a WoD game: Vampire or Hunter

Mutants and Masterminds has a mechanic a lot LIKE insperation from 5e but more integral not an optional rule; the best part is since it's ya know a comic/superhero setting with those tropes a villain might just ESCAPE

Now the book says don't over use this DUH but even then the idea might be annoying BUUUUT if you do something like that they get a heroic inspiration (as i recall called a hero point) since some comic book silliness happened if done well it can have fun villian team ups occur UH OH THE SHOCKER & SANDMAN ARE HERE... AND WORKING TOGETHER!!!

Fun stuff there are rules for tech and how powers interact for adjudication as well as simple sample villains and giant monsters to fight, it being roughly settable in a modern setting with no baggage about it being a mystery like Call does take some getting used to oddly enough but it is weirdly fun having comic shinenigans but it's your oc do not steal with fun rules and drama you can help construct as a group after all superhero comics (most of the good ones) are either soap operas or have fascinating themes and outlooks

Gimme that crunchy combat of Pathfinder or 3.5 and I will be happy, making properly strange monsters with properly fun crunchy combat

I think 3, 3.5, path & star is crunchy while 5e is punchy

3.5 is well i uh, set up... hmmm, ah I tumble to get passed the monsters reach without an attack of opportunity I only get one attack on my turn but haste is up with meta magic swift action bulls strength so take two attacks with my modified strength so I can make a full attack next turn and immediate action close wounds (no idea what class this person is lol)

5e can go, I step up within 5 feet attack attack the creature using my feat I disarming attack for one of my 3 attacks one with haste, and second wind as a bonus action. On their turn when they try to disengage i have Sentinel so with a reaction i can attack and stop them but with warcaster ill use shocking grasp getting advantage on the roll since he has metal armor and now they are stuck in the space

Both can be equally complex if you maximize your see but

3.5 has a lot more small modifiers conditions and situations that just aren't built into 5e a lot of fiddly bits flat footed fod example but in exchange you get not a million classes and instead focuses on a core and let's subclass and build off that

How To Use The Dual Output Function Of Xindun Hybrid Inverter?

What is the dual output function of the inverter? It usually refers to the dual AC output load of the inverter.

For example, Xindun HFP-C/HFP-E/HFP-S series hybrid inverters have dual AC output load function, and the main output and the second output can be loaded at the same time and independently.

For example, the main output can load high power electrical equipment, such as air conditioners, water heaters, induction cookers and other home appliances.

The second output can load low power equipment, such as lighting fixtures, refrigerators, monitoring, routers and other electrical equipment. The second output can ensure that key equipment in the home needs to run continuously.

The dual output function of Xindun HFP-C/HFP-E/HFP-S series hybrid inverters is turned off by default. Both the main output and the second output can be loaded normally. The two outputs can be loaded at the same time and independently, but the total power of the dual output load does not exceed the rated power of the inverter.

When the dual output function is turned on, there will be the following 4 states.

1. When the battery voltage is normal

When the battery voltage is normal, it is the same as the default state. The dual AC outputs can be loaded simultaneously or independently, and the total power of the dual loads does not exceed the rated power of the inverter.

2. When the battery voltage is low

When the battery voltage is as low as the cut off voltage setting value, such as a 48V battery voltage (the settable voltage range is 28V-58V, and the cut off voltage value is set to 35V), when the battery power is consumed to 35V, the main output will automatically shut down and cannot be loaded. Only the second output continues to supply power and load, and the maximum power of the second output is limited to 30% of the rated power of the inverter. For example, for the 6300W Xindun HFP-C hybrid inverter, the power range that the second output can carry is within 0-1890W, and the maximum power that can be carried is 1890W.

3. After battery charging

When the battery voltage is restored to the voltage setting value after charging, for example, the battery voltage of 48 volts (the voltage range can be set from 30V to 56V, and the recovery voltage value is set to 45V), when the battery charge is restored to 45V, the main output will automatically resume power supply, and the dual output will resume normal operation with load.

4. When the main output is turned off

When the main output is turned off, if the main power is connected to the inverter, the main output will resume power supply regardless of the battery status, and the dual output can resume normal operation. Before turning on the dual output function of the inverter, ensure that the load power of the second output is less than 30% of the rated power to prevent the second output from being overloaded after the main output is cut off.

design notes: first we weren't so far from the chopper position, it is only the handlebar that needed to come out from under the cockpit so that it can be raised

so that was our starting point for figuring out the racing position

where owing to bolting and unbolting mechanisms gears could rotate and since luckily we had a slider they could as well recede in the back for that racing position, and that is where we run into the major issue in all this, notice that the position of seats also changed, well they can be positioned along that rail as needed

the major issue is that rear foot pegs are for passengers and so we cannot use these plus wherever a passenger puts his feet has definitely to be out of the way of gears

this where I realized that the two sets do not have to be on the same plane, meaning passenger foot pegs are actually below while racing pegs and gears are above, ie gears slide back to the rear and come up, racing pegs come out and are also settable, red maybe a bit flashy but nice

that is a lot but not too many bolting unbolting and sliding mechanism but, again luckily, we have room for it in that midsection, and some mechanics artist, you have to be an artist to engineer this kind of set up and make it work not just imagine that it can, will figure out how these things work

so a bit luck and a lot hope and it will work, interestingly if you do not have a passenger this is what happens, they can recede further for a more aggressive racing position

you may argue that these are not mechanic gears since it's electric motors, still wouldn't it be nice to have some mechanisms in there, and yes it maybe unfeasible otherwise that's also true
