ok quick rant post that i need to share because why not. i am just a little guy with free will and idrc if people say skill issue or hate because uh i dont care!!!!

anyways

i think re4 og is a very cool and good game. i love how goofy it is and obviously it was very important since it really invented the 3rd person over the shoulder shooter type of games and paved the way for a lot of later on survival horror and whatnot yada yada, im not saying by any means that it is a bad game, its a good game!

but the one thing i cannot get for the life of me are the controls

i know its tank controls and obviously it was made in 2005 so yeah its not gonna be perfect, but as someone who loves the resident evil franchise and would like to play more games, i really cannot get used to re4 og's controls :(

i tried controller which is typically better and its just...so weird for me. why can i not move and shoot..the aiming is so weird...like..idk...i did play remake first and obviously remake was gonna have better controls because it was made over a year ago and yeah its obviously way better with that, but it just makes me sad because i would love to play og, but every time i try to sit down and play i just can't because i cant like...play the game without having some sort of meltdown with the controls

i mean there's nothing i can really do to change that, and i know that, but its just frustrating for me because i would love to play the game but my brain cannot wrap its head around how the game is meant to be played. i played all through remake and 100% it with like 150+ hours with no issues and i want to have that same experience and fun with og, but its just really not possible for me personally

anyways rant over im just a little sad over it and idk if im the only one in this boat :'(

To all the Trekkies/ers out there looking at that parody in the top panel saying "Actually, Dee. You're sitting in OPS, not the helm, and there's only one control panel on that layout of bridge." I say, you'll notice that I blew UP the helm. Ops CAN assume helm control, thank you very much. As for the other part, it's a visual reboot, and to paraphrase Jay Fosgitt, "I do what I want".

How Does a MiniKORG 700 Work?

I went to see how the installation of my new convertible roof for my 1967 Firebird was coming along. The upholstery shop where the work is being done is in a small airport. As I was leaving, I saw this gorgeous airplane being detailed by the owner. I asked if I could take a photo of it, and they guy and his wife invited me to sit inside and play with the controls!! It was very, very cool. I had never sat in the pilot's seat of a cockpit on a small but spectacular plane like this one so I was thrilled as you can see by my big smile. They were very kind, interesting people. I enjoyed meeting them very much!! I can't wait to go back and see my car and see what else I might find!!!
