Help I lost a fic! X-Men evolution
I've been looking for 3 fanfics all from X-Men evolution. Tow of the fics were 'Giddy' and 'Love of my life' by seven sunningdale. They were originally posted on Fanfiction.net but were removed. I don't know where or how to find them and if anyone has a copy please let me know.
As for the third fic I don't know the name or the author but I know it's from ff.net as well. In the fic Rogue is raised by the assassin's guild leader Marius and becomes Julian and Belladonna's sister. She and Remy become friends as kids which leads the two guilds to start making peace negotiations. They plan an arranged marriage but with Remy and Belladonna because they thought that if they married Remy and Rogue it would ruin their friendship, but they were already falling in love and Remy's engagement to Belle hurt them both. Belle was also very jealous of Rogue and had a crush on Remy. I remember Remy leaving because he didn't want to marry Belle. I don't know if Rogue's powers went out of contro, but the X-Men do show up. It's revealed that Logan is Rogue's father and Bell said something along the lines of 'now that she knows who her father is she can go with him to her real family' they all knew Rogue was adopted but Marius and Julian didn't care she was their daughter/sister regardless of blood. I don't think the fic was completed.
So if anyone knows anything about it please let me know.

The Peculiar Vanishing of Dame Agatha Christie, Mystery Author
Tumblr media
If you at all enjoy the genres of mystery and detective fiction, you not only have heard tell of Dame Agatha Christie—you very likely worship her. Particularly fascinating for us, as disciples of all things dark and dastardly, are strange happenings befitting of mystery's foremost authors located within the annals of their own lives.
If you share this proclivity, then do travel back with us to the year 1926, when Agatha Christie, Mistress of Mystery and Queen of Crime, vanished into what is known colloquially as "thin air."
Christie and her first husband, Archibald (or "Archie"), shared a famously troubled union. By 1926, they had been wed for twelve years, and Archie, then thirty-seven, had requested a divorce from Christie while engaging in an affair with his secretary, a twenty-five-year-old woman named Nancy Neele. On the night of December 3, Archie departed the couple's Sunningdale home, intent on spending the evening with friends—and, very likely, his mistress—while leaving his wife behind. Following a quarrel and Archie's subsequent departure, Christie, too, left the home, placing the couple's young daughter in the care of their maid.
No hint of Christie's whereabouts was established until the following morning, when her car was discovered in some brush along a Surrey road, abandoned. The contents were thus: A suitcase placed in the back seat; with it, a fur coat; and elsewhere in the vehicle, Christie's driving license. The headlights were still illuminated.
According to a contemporaneous police report from deputy chief constable William Kenward, "The car was found in such a position as to indicate that some unusual proceeding had taken place, the Car being found half-way down a grassy slope well off the main road with its bonnet buried in some bushes, as if it had got out of control."
This peculiar set of circumstances led many to suspect foul play had befallen the mystery author, and the media soon took particular interest in the story. As is common in cases of missing women, many members of the public began to suspect her husband, Archie, of wrongdoing, while others surmised the whole matter was a publicity stunt. Even Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, sought the aid of a spiritual medium to ascertain Christie's whereabouts.
Why might Christie have left her house the night of December 3, only to seemingly abandon her car approximately fifteen miles away? Where had she gone, and did she plan to return? Under what circumstances, an anxious public wondered, might she be found?
To read a comprehensive account of this strange and mysterious incident, please visit The Raven Post.
If you have an original short story or poem of a mysterious nature that you would like to share, please visit our Submissions page.

Merhaba Sevgili Okuycularım;
At binmeyi ve kılıç kullanmayı seven Richard, aile yadigarı kartal Soleil in de Kral Robert dan sonraki sahibidir.

ISO: Giddy by Seven Sunningdale
I’m looking for a digital copy of Seven Sunningdale’s “Giddy”. If you’re currently in possession of this fic, please, please send me a message.
I was under the impression that I had both “Giddy” and “Love of my Life” on my hard disk, and getting ready for a re-read, it seems that I only have the latter.
Thanks in advance. <3
UPDATE: Got it!!! WOOOOO!! Thank you @ssferret

Favorite Romy fics
Day 4 - Wednesday, February 23rd - Favorite fanfics
There are so many great stories and talented and creative authors out there in the Romy fanfic space. Here are a few of my very favorite fics, which I go back and reread regularly. Several of these fics are unfinished WIPs, which I'll note with a *. I've come to realize I'm a glutton for punishment when it comes to WIPs, but these fics are so, so worth it.
The Ante * by Lucia de'Medici (@nxctuaryninetythree) | Words don't really express how much I love this story. I read it very early on in my Romy fandom and this story is a big reason why Evo!Rogue is my favorite version. It's beautifully written, and each Romy moment feels tangible and real. Hell, the whole fic feels real. Her descriptions are rich and vibrant, and she has created this magical world of mutants and bayous and thieves and first loves that sticks with you long after you read the last/latest chapter.
Porch Swing by Máiréad Channing | In my own fanfic fan world-building head, I picture this one shot as the ultimate ending to The Ante. Evo!Rogue and Gambit are happily living together in New Orleans here and genuinely seem content. Gambit doesn't technically appear in the story but his presence is deeply felt throughout. Jean Luc LeBeau makes a guest starring appearance and it's fun to spend some time with him and see him and Rogue interact.
Love of my Life by Seven Sunningdale | This fic is legendary and not only because it's no longer available online. It's an epic tale set in the Evo-verse with plenty of twists and turns and pure unadulterated Romy angst. Even after almost 80 chapters, I wasn't ready to say goodbye to this story and its full-bodied characters. Such a unique take on both the Evo cartoon and the characters we know and love.
Blind Sight * by Valerie J | Sequel to Thick as Thieves, Blind Sight could very easily be turned into an HBO series. It literally has everything in it. Betrayal, redemption, romance, adventure, a full X-Men cast.... plus, we get a front-row seat to the inner workings of the Thieves Guild. It's just such an excellent caliber of work and I enjoy how all the characters, even the minor ones, are fully fleshed out.
So Impossible * by Adriadne Quinn. This was among the very first Romy stories I read, if not The First. So I feel very nostalgic about it. This story has stayed with me through the years and I credit the author's X-Men stories for getting me interested in the Evo-verse.
Mamas Know Best by @jehilew | In addition to exploring Rogue's complicated relationship with Mystique and dealing with her subsequent death, there's the strong undercurrent of Romy flowing throughout. Despite it not being a traditional Romy story, the relationship is still portrayed with such depth and complexity. By the end, the familiarity and trust between the couple is palpable.
Broken * by MortonGirl | The characters felt real and the burgeoning Romy relationship is so sweet and true to the characters. The overarching plot is a great creative take leveraging the comic storylines but also feels right at home in the Evo-verse.
House of Cards Trilogy by @ludi-ling | HoC and its sequels are unparalleled works of art. They are gritty and sexy and so true to Romy. Ludi has a knack for writing these characters and they are most definitely on display in this trilogy. Great storytelling, characterizations, and creative take on the comic storylines.
Devil's Poison * by @codealiaswave | Another fic that dives deep into the Thieves Guild. The attention to detail in regards to the world-building that is displayed is amazing. It really helps elevate the fic and brings it to life. Not to mention the explosive tension between Gambit and Rogue who start off as enemies. Excited to see this story continue.
Like a Thief in the Night by hbcooper | A fun New Orleans-based jaunt that features Rogue and some fun Thieves Guild member appearances. The last chapter is definitely worth the wait 😉
Literally anything by Tamarai | Her Romy stories are so much fun. She has such an extensive story collection, which span the different universes. Highly recommend.
There are so many more fics I adore but these are the ones I read again and again and again. They've gotten me through hard times and fun times and have definitely inspired me to write my own fanfiction. 💛

I laid awake last night thinking about this, so rather than let it stew in my brain I figured I’d get it out here...
So way back when, a fanfic was posted that was one of the first real long form fics I’d ever read. Lots of folks in the Romy fandom likely know it: Giddy by Seven Sunningdale.
It was removed from ff.net years ago, but it was one of those stories that sucked you in while you waited with bated breath for the next chapter to be posted.
And the ending... my god. The ending WRECKED me. Anyone that’s read it knows what I’m talking about. Completely blindsided me at the time.
Thankfully there was a super long sequel that I’m pretty sure set things to rights, but it’s been so long I can barely remember.
Why am I talking about this now? Because Giddy has reappeared.
It’s on Ao3, not shared by the original author (which does give me pause, but that’s a topic for another day) and when I saw it I nearly dropped my tablet. How long had it been since I’d seen this fic? Ten years? Fifteen? I only know that I originally read it something like 20 years ago and had long been a favourite.
Which is why I stayed up until 2am trying to finish it in one sitting. I’m older, slightly wiser, than I was when I originally read it, and I can look at it with a more critical eye now, but honestly? It’s held up pretty well.
I didn’t finish it in one sitting, but after I put my tablet down I didn’t sleep right away. All I could think about was how many of these novel-length fanfics exist and impacted my own writing and fandom experience. This fanfic was one of the stories that I’d go back and read over and over until it was removed and I no longer could.
Having now finished it for the first time in I don’t know how many years has me chomping at the bit for the sequel to be reposted (Anonymous poster says they will share the sequel soon).
Having been in a bit of a writing funk this week, seeing Giddy again was like a breath of creative fresh air. I actually want to get back to my own work, which is a very nice feeling.

Hello! I am a new fans (just from last year) of Romy/RogueGambit and just found out about Seven Sunningdale legendary and yet no-longer-on-the-internet fanfiction. I stumbled upon your post when I Googled about how you have it from the author. Is there any chance that you still have it? Many thanks ❤️
Yes, I still have it! DM me your email address and I'll send it along.

No but seriously, the amount of people who think it’s ok to just download whatever you post to the internet and then re-upload themselves, for ANY reason, is too damn high
I hope to GOD no one downloaded early fics I wrote and then later deleted because they were fucking embarrassing. I’d be super fucking shocked if anyone re-uploaded them because “they were just so good and I have to share them!” but hey, I don’t know who read them and how they impacted someone.
We have no idea why Seven Sunningdale took down those fics and then deleted her profile. Maybe she just “grew out” of the Romy fandom and found what she wrote to be terrible/embarrassing/whatever. Maybe it was a safety reason. Maybe it was a mental health reason. We don’t know.
But it is clear, from her actions, that she didn’t want people reading them any more.
And I don’t care if it’s been 10 or 15 years. In fact, that makes it worse! Imagine if something from your past that you thought was dead and buried, regardless of the reasons you buried it, came back out of the blue one day! And now you have no control over it because someone else took it and can do whatever the fuck they want with it?
Like, if it really means that much to you, then you can email it to anyone who asks for your favorite fic of all time. But you don’t publicly post it for everyone to read when the author took specific actions for that to never happen again.
