Thought I’d take a classic cat pic (one of the best ones ever made) and meme-ify it for your viewing pleasure. OBVIOUSLY the original image is not mine.

The latest FEA Avatar I'm playing with. As usual, name comes from the Dragon Name Generator.
Nveryll was my curious test to see if the SpotPass data I'd downloaded could still be loaded once the servers went down despite my earlier desperation. She marries Henry and I can only guess, since Henry's endings all talk about him being a surprisingly good father, both of them dote on Morgan endlessly.
#fire emblem awakening#commentary#I'm also finding it hilarious I had two Revenant spawns in a row when I caught people up with Reeking boxes...#really what am I paying Anna with now?#good Pokemon GO luck plus good Awakening luck plus last week's SFII Mithril Weapon RNG Abuse luck...#I swear I'm going to be paying for this later on down the line and I just hope it's not in shitty level ups for key units

finally found an upload of the arrangement cd, this song is such a banger
#shining series#shining wisdom#sega saturn#vgm#this ost is still takenouchi's weakest work by far to me#and yet it still has its bangers#i'm sad the arranged cd doesn't have the ending though#takenouchi wanted it to be very rock so i guess he skipped the sad one#but it's so good#given how often the sfii symphonic suite gets me choked up i'm sure it could have been beautifully rearranged#Youtube

How do the Street Fighter tournaments even fucking work canonically?
No seriously, HOW?
What is shown in the games barely even looks like a tournament and more like characters run into each other and then fight with the flimsiest of excuses. And do the fighters seriously go around the world to fight one person before hopping onto a plane to fight the next one? What are the brackets? The rules? Who fights who? Do they canonically gather at the final stage and battle it out there?
We know for definite that Ryu fought Birdie, Adon and Sagat in the first tournament, that Gen dropped out because he felt there was no real competition and that Ken was fighting in a US martial arts tournament at the time. Everyon e else is a bit of a mystery.
Did Ryu just bloody Sagat and then sod off? Was there no ceremony? Did he look at Sagat on the ground, blood pissing out of his new wound and just say "neat!" and walk "da warriah's paff"?
SFA had no tournament plot device as far as I'm aware of.
I think the only definite thing Capcom have said regarding the SFII tournament was that either Guile or Chun-Li won it, Ryu either lost or dropped out and Sagat in turn dropped out as well because he was only in it to fight Ryu.
SFIII and IV had tournaments that nobody really remembers. SFV didn't have one and I think SF6 officially has one again?
This has been bugging me recently and I've been wanting to make sense of it and I can't!

Chun-Li
- from Ultra Street Fighter II
- by Jada Toys
Quick Shot
Another knockout from Jada.
Chun-Li came out a little later than Ryu and Fei Long in Jada Toys' Street Fighter 2 line, so expectations were high. But rest assured - she's just as impressive as the first two outings.
Great sculpt. Very defined features and textures - good paint (the face is good, but the finish is a little glossy - see the way different lighting affects it drastically) and the soft goods feel robust enough to stand the test of time.
Her lightning kick accessory stinks though - just a useless lump of squishy plastic. That's fine though, you're getting an excellent action figure for the price of admission. And it proves that Jada is a worthy steward of the Street Fighter line.
I'll take more pictures showing off the articulation for all three figures soon.

Heike…both games street fighter 2 and kaiser knuckle released before super punch out!
Vega has does bull fighting(hence wanting a reaction from Don.) and Azteca is an Aztec warrior.
SPO: October 1994
SFII: March 1991
KK: July 1994
Heike - "Ugh, like be honest, who even knows what a Kaiser Knuckle is anyway? Sounds like something lame. Like something Von Kaiser would call his punch." Don - "Oh! Vega does bull fighting? Uhm...yeah, that sounds real dangerous..." Heike - "Ugh, who cares if he fights bulls or whatever?! The point is Vega and Azteca will never be better than me!! Because i'm stronger and better-looking!"

I decided to add SVC Chaos - SNK vs. Capcom to my custom SFII cabinet because even though it's strictly speaking a SNK game for the Neo Geo it's still Capcom related and I used to play it at the little Tilt mall arcade in ABQ when I used to live there in the 00's so I have nostalgia for it!
I actually beat it for the first time with Mai tonight which I never did back in the day even playing it at home in emulation on my PC with my home made fighting stick that I had made in the late 90's!
BTW, some people thought the graphics style in it was weird but I like it a lot myself! 🕹️💜😁👍🏻
BTW so few people used to be at the Tilt in the 00's I always used to play single player and no one used to challenge me so it was a lot like playing in my home arcade TBH
Also you can tell when a character is particularly difficult to beat when you finally beat them and it's the one character you get an achievement for... Haha 😅

I'm currently also playing SpellForce III Reforced since SFI and SFII were my childhood rpgs, and.
While it doesn't feel like a SpellForce, it sure is entertaining! I'm vibing with the crew so far and Tahar is just. Amazing Kommandant, but a little bit stupid when it comes to other things xd It just compels me!!
#Charu plays Spellforce 3#Ngl it's too modern and gritty to fit in with the old games#But the hero interactions are absolutely worth it#My Tahar is definitely a compulsive problem solver#Helping where she can#And I love the fact that the assassin sent to kill you decides that the order is stupid and joins you
