Where To Buy Protein Powder In Singapore
Where to buy protein powder in Singapore? The answer is really simple. You can stop by Ultimate Sup right away: https://ultimatesupsg.com/
It's the best location for you to purchase any workout booster, especially protein powders. There's nothing to worry about the product’s quality as Ultimate Sup is an excellent Singapore supplement store.
Ultimate Sup was established in 2018. As a one-stop supplement store in Singapore, its mission has always been dedicating itself to provide the most excellent sports supplements such as proteins, herbs, natural beauty products, etc. Having a professional R&D team for sport accessories, the brand always wants to give customers the best products at affordable prices. To be specific, Ultimate Sup has committed to supplying effective, high-quality products to help people reach their fitness goals and live a healthier life.
Ultimate Sup has close collaborations with several brands such as BlendBottle, MuscleTech, Hydroxycut, MusclePharm, Doctor's Best, and Now Foods. It is an authorised distributor of Goli Nutrition Inc. products for the year 2020, JNX, and BlenderBottle as well. That's why customers are no longer afraid of buying poor-quality or fake supplements.
Ultimate Sup is regarded as the best place nearby to buy protein powder. Protein powder Singapore usually contains high-protein ingredients, especially whey singapore to provide more nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. Protein powder is concentrated proteins from animal foods or plants such as milk, eggs, rice or peas. It is diverse in origin as well as composition. Each kind of protein powder has different advantages and is suitable for a particular group of users.
There are three common types of Protein Powder:
Protein Concentrates: Produced by extracting protein from whole foods, using heat, acids, or enzymes. It usually contains 60–80% protein; the rest 20–40% are fats and carbs.
Protein Isolates: Removes more fat and carbs, increases protein content with additional filtration. This form can contain about 90–95% protein.
Hydrolyzed Protein: Whey protein is broken down into smaller protein fragments through a process called “enzymatic hydrolysis.” It may sound complicated, but this production step facilitates more rapid digestion, fast-tracking its amino to your muscles, enhancing growth.
In addition to protein, some powders are also fortified with vitamins and minerals, especially calcium. For bodybuilders, the addition of protein is extremely important for fat loss and muscle gain. However, not everyone can eat a large amount of meat to enhance their protein intake. That's why protein powder is such a great choice since it is delicious and rich in nutrients. It fulfills your protein amount while supporting muscle growth, improving health and possibly helping with weight loss.
Here is the information published by the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Institute of Nutrition.
On average, an adult needs 0.8g of protein per kg of body weight per day.
People who participate in amateur recreational sports need from 1.1 to 1.4 grams per kilogram of body weight.
Professional athletes need between 1.2 and 1.4 grams of protein depending on the sport they do. Some high-endurance sports may require up to 2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight.
Bodybuilders who want to build muscle require a daily minimum protein intake ranging from 1.5 to 2g protein per kilogram of body weight.

【Runner’s blog】 Itabashi City Marathon 2019
First and foremost, I have to thank Japan Athletes for introducing this race to me.
While the rest of the world is busy running the AIMS certified Seoul Marathon, here I am in Tokyo running a local race, the Itabashi City Marathon. It’s JAAF certified.
After looking at the route, it appears as flat a course you could find in Japan. It’s a very ‘local race’ kinda theme but the support was still very japan like; warm and full of energy.
The reception was on race day but there were no issues with that at all. The course wasn’t exactly flat and there were quite a few potholes, as reviewed by many others. I like it being out (21.1) and back and the water points were plenty, once every 3k, a rare sight in Japan races (other than major ones) I believe. Senshu had it once every 5k.. What’s best was the food after the race! Omfg, there was so much food, to be purchased at a cheap rate!
The downside is the baggage deposit. Had to really hunt after e race, point taken to really see where you put your bag and not just hand over to the volunteer. All in all it’s really well managed despite missing a couple of water points where volunteers couldn’t cope with the crowd. I love it!!!
“After 4 years, finally I got my personal best in the grueling Full Marathon category. 42.195km, no more no less.”

This morning "journey to the West" run. Map out 3 possible route last night and decided on the one that stay on on #PCN as long as possible. Started early this morning and upon reaching at Esplanade change my mind n decided to go on the road and ran through the business district since traffic is still quite light. The stretch from Shenton way to Vivo is making me crazy with all the noise coming from cars on the Keppel Viaduct and West Coast Highway 😜. Make a few diversion along the way to make sure the distance will be at least 21km when I reach the end of the park. I remember West Coast Park to be quite huge with pretty wth unobstructed sea view. Not really so now after all the reclaim and the heaving shipping activities going on 😔 #sgrun #runsg #sgrunners #sgrunning #insta_running #igrun #instarun #runnerspace #longdistancerunning #runningjournal #runningaddict #runnersinspiration #runfit #instarunneraddict #stayhealthy #keepfit #igfitness #fitnessmotivation #workout #dailyworkout #healthyliving #healthylifestyle #garminsg #landscape #runandexplore #sea (at West Coast Park parkrun) https://www.instagram.com/p/BsZwqHiAmGb/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=x17mg5hziv2a

9 months. Took us 9 long months to get his shoulders moving. We didnt know what is wrong with his shoulders. Frozen shoulder? Rotator cuff injury?calcific tendonitis?(fun fact, if you cant move your shoulder, this doesn't mean you have frozen shoulder, as make believe in some videos)He refuse to see a specialist. He did a few traditional therapy but didn't worked out for him. We explain to him that the treatment is not going to be a one session thingy (as seen in some videos again). He put his faith on us. He didn't miss a single session. Every session was painful. Manual therapy, joint mobilization, EMS and exercises. He is a fighter. Fast forward to almost end November. He is happy with the results and back to his muay thai and Kali. He is grateful and refered his spouse and friends to us. Actually, we are even more grateful and thankful that he believed in us and gave us the opportunity to treat his shoulder🙏🙏🙏. . . . . . . . . . . . . . #sgig #shoulderpain#sgsports #marathonsg #sgfitness #sgcycling #sgfitfam #sgrunning #spartan #sgfootball #sgfitspo #sgrunners #sgfit #anklepain #lowerbackpain #kneepain #kneeinjury #kneerehab #sgmarathon #painfreeliving #lowerbackinjury #sghealthy #fitnessSG #ironmantraining #injuryrecovery #injuryprevention #tabata #sportstherapy #bft #thesportsmassageclinic (at The Sports Massage Clinic) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWvk0mNhBhw/?utm_medium=tumblr

The Secret Of Vitamin D3
Does the term “sunshine vitamin" sound familiar to you? Today, Ultimate Sup will help you become acquainted with vitamin D3 - an essential nutrient for your body.
What Is Vitamin D3?
Vitamin D3 (also known as Cholecalciferol) is one of five vitamin D's natural forms. It is the nutrient that your body can synthesize under ultraviolet radiation influences as a fat-soluble one. With this impact, the vitamin D3 synthesis through your skin consists of 2 phases:
Stage 1: The metabolized 7-dehydrocholesterol molecule creates vitamin D3 precursor when it is impacted by ultraviolet radiation.
Stage 2: The vitamin D3 precursor is self-isomerizing into vitamin D3. This standard self-isomerization period will last about 12 days.
Once absorbed into your body, vitamin D3 is transferred to the liver. Here, it will transform into a more vital form and then continue another kidney’s metabolic process. Most of the vitamin D3 is stored in your bones to boost the absorption of calcium. Meanwhile, the liver and kidneys will retain the rest to regulate the calcium amount in your blood.
How Important Is Vitamin D3?
Among vitamin D's natural forms, Vitamin D3 and D2 are the most popular. However, vitamin D3 is evaluated as a stronger form, providing more optimal effectiveness and less toxic than Vitamin D2. As a result, they offer more health benefits.
Vitamin D3 participates in inorganic metabolism activities (such as calcium, phosphorus) and epithelial cell differentiation. Therefore, the fat-soluble vitamin promotes the development of strong bones and keeps you healthy.
Benefits Of Vitamin D3
Surely you all know the definition of vitamin D3. Now, let's find out more about its benefits.
Maintain the concentration of Calcium in the blood, supporting to strengthen bones:
When it comes to vitamin Cholecalciferol, the most crucial benefit is balancing and maintaining calcium concentration in the blood. With this vitamin deficiency, the intestine does not absorb enough calcium and phosphorus, making blood calcium decrease. At this time, your body is required to take out calcium from the bones to stabilize. Consequently, children grow slowly. Infants who lack this vitamin can have bone defects. Adults are susceptible to osteoporosis, spongy and fragile bones.
Enhancing immunity, preventing cancer:
According to Dr. John Cannel, ten years ago, an epidemic made many prisoners in a Los Angeles prison experience the flu. However, inmates given Vitamin D 2000 IU per day a few months earlier didn't suffer from the disease.
Here is another example of vitamin D3 benefits from a clinical study among 67 tuberculosis patients receiving a vitamin D3 supplement of 10,000 IU per day. After six weeks, they didn't have any symptoms of sputum in their lungs. On the other hand, over 77 percent of the vitamin-free group saw some traits. A similar London observation also concluded that vitamin D supplementation has the potential to treat pulmonary tuberculosis.
Reduce the risk of cancer:
Women who are supplemented with Vitamin D3 and calcium are nearly 80% less likely to develop cancer. The higher the vitamin D3 concentration, the lower the risk of cancer.
Suitable for fetal development:
Vitamin D3 plays an essential role in fetus development, especially bones, teeth, and skull. Besides, it helps reduce the rate of preterm birth and complications during pregnancy.

【Runner’s blog】  Tokyo Marathon 2019
18 months before my very first marathon, I made an Instagram account called roadtotokyomarathon2019 (now changed to @roadtoberlinmarathon2019). I had never even run a half marathon. 16 kilometers (10 miles) was the furthest I reached. But to run a marathon and to visit Japan were my longtime wishes.
Not being sure If I would be able to run the full 42.195 meters, I followed a schedule to run my first half marathon being the City-Pier-City 2018 run in The Hague in the Netherlands. All went well but in the final week before the run an injury stopped me from this first achievement.
This made me seriously doubt running a full marathon. Also a challenge was how to obtain a starting number for the Tokyo marathon in 2019. I looked at charities and travel agencies for this but the injury just before the half marathon made me anxious. Would I be able to handle raising money for charity, time for training a lot, working long hours, coaching my sons soccer team and so much more for such a long period. I figured not so I did not dare going through a charity organization. The money needed for a travel agency also shocked me a bit, especially seeing how risky it is to get injured just before the big event.
So I just started training on a marathon schedule to see what would happen. Each week I could run more kilometers. In September 2018 I ran the 10 miles Dam-To-Dam in Amsterdam in the pouring rain without any problems and ten minutes faster than the year before. In the mean time the entrance opened for the Tokyo Marathon 2019 and I thought….Let’s see what happens and entered it. Somehow, someway I was very very lucky to get in and preparations for the Tokyo Marathon 2019 could really start. No turning back now.
Almost immediately I developed an injury on my right foot and I thought that would be it for me. But luckily some special soles fairly quickly helped me on this. Training went well onwards and I could run a bit further every week. Half marathon distances for the first time and building up to 32 kilometers felt like immense achievements already.
Time flies when your schedule is full with work, family and running. My 9 day journey to Tokyo was there before I knew it. I’ve travelled the world a lot in the past but never alone. So this trip would be completely “out of my comfort zone”. Somehow I knew that Tokyo, Japan would be the ideal place for my journey….and it was.
Arriving in Tokyo on the rainy Friday I immediately went to the marathon expo. Almost had to swim to get in and pick up my bib. Still fun to see all the merchandise and stands with information. On Instagram I had contact with several people that were interested in my Road to Tokyo Marathon 2019. At the expo by pure luck I recognized a German/Japanese lady and her friend from Instagram so was fun to actually meet someone.
At the Friendship Run on Saturday the sun was shining and all was perfect for such a lovely event. Here I met Insta friends from Holland. I was a bit worried and nervous to see if it was wise to run the day before the marathon and I started to feel all kinds of things in my body. Well actually for two weeks I was feeling all kinds of things but luckily in the end it all appeared to be nerves.
The big Sunday started and I saw it was raining a lot. I dressed for it and put on a poncho and walked to the starting area. What a sight to see so many people, all with the same goal of completing this special marathon. The starting area filled up quickly and I had a lovely talk with someone from Peru so waiting time flew by. Then the marathon commenced and slowly everybody started to move. Once over the starting line I could start running. Immediately I was surprised that so many runners were going so fast. Every tip I read,  said to start slowly and luckily I kept an even pace. After the first kilometer by pure chance I ran past the lady from Holland that I greeted the day before at the friendship run. We decided to run together and we talked about all kinds of things. Because of this we really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the Tokyo Marathon. 42 kilometers full of people cheering left and right…..what a sight and so special. Before we knew it we were at kilometer 30 and still going strong. Our sport watches were a bit troublesome though because they indicated we were going very fast. So we tempered ourselves all the time. In the end I ran the marathon in 4:18 where my watch said 4:04 so that was a bit disappointing. But I made it fairly easy and enjoyed every second of the race…..that was most important.
Going back to the hotel after the race was a challenge because everything started to hurt in my legs so that was also a new experience. In the evening I met up with a marathon group from Facebook for a diner together and hear their stories. Two participants even got their 6 star medals, so cool.
The rest of the week in Tokyo was very special too. Eating at Ichiban restaurant, seeing wrestling at Kuroaken Hall, the Tokyo museum, shopping, meeting up with Insta friends from Australia and Britain and so much more. The final night I met up with a group to sing Karaoke. This was also something “out of my comfort zone” especially because I was completely sober. In Holland we only do this with drinks……still a very special experience once again. I loved Tokyo from the start and I will certainly return to Japan with my family to see much more of this fantastic country.
