Los 4 Lados de la Mente

La teoría de los cuatro lados de la mente ha recibido este nombre debido a su planteamiento de que cada bloque de las funciones cognitivas está representado por un tipo de MBTI, lo que implica que en la mente de una persona existen cuatro tipos de MBTI.

Esta teoría, basada en el modelo de las funciones cognitivas del MBTI, sugiere que cada individuo tiene una estructura mental única compuesta por cuatro bloques de funciones, cada uno asociado a un tipo de personalidad del MBTI.

Estos cuatro bloques de la mente son el Ego, el Subconsciente, el Inconsciente y el Super-ego. Cada uno de ellos está asociado con dos funciones cognitivas específicas, que corresponden a la función principal y a la función auxiliar de alguno de los 16 tipos de personalidad del MBTI. Esto implica que, en determinados momentos en los que hay una acentuación de estos bloques, podemos observar un comportamiento similar al de los tipos de personalidad asociados a esas funciones.

Primer lado: Ego

El primer lado es el Ego, que representa el tipo principal y original del individuo. Es aquí donde se encuentran las funciones ego que definen la personalidad central del usuario. Por ejemplo, un individuo con funciones ego TiNe sería clasificado como INTP. El Ego es la parte de la personalidad que todos pueden observar fácilmente, ya que es la representación más evidente del ser del individuo. En este lado, el tipo principal actúa de forma automática y es la faceta más prominente y reconocible de la persona. Si bien, no hay novedad aquí, ahora veamos los otros tres lados.

Segundo lado: Subconsciente

El segundo lado es el Subconsciente (también conocido como aspiracional o complementario). Este lado se representa con el tipo que tiene las funciones inferior y terciaria como dominante y auxiliar, respectivamente. Por ejemplo, un ESFP tiene las funciones Ni inferior y Te terciaria, y el tipo que tiene esas funciones como dominante y auxiliar es el INTJ. Por lo tanto, el INTJ se considera el lado o "personalidad" subconsciente del ESFP. El Subconsciente suele ser considerado como lo opuesto o el "complemento" del tipo original, y tiene una agenda casi oculta. Representa todo aquello que el individuo aspira ser, aunque no lo demuestre conscientemente. En momentos de estrés, el individuo puede manifestar un comportamiento muy similar al del tipo asociado al Subconsciente. Aún quedan dos lados más por explorar.

Tercer lado: Inconsciente

El tercer lado es el Inconsciente (también conocido como opuesto o contrario), que forma parte de la sombra del tipo principal. En este caso, se trata del tipo que tiene como funciones dominante y auxiliar las funciones opositora y crítica del tipo principal, respectivamente. Por ejemplo, si consideramos al INFJ, encontramos que tiene a Ne opositora y a Fi crítica. Estas funciones pertenecen al ENFP, lo que significa que el ENFP es el lado inconsciente del INFJ. El Inconsciente representa la agenda realmente oculta del tipo principal y a menudo se proyecta hacia uno mismo y hacia los demás como crítica u oposición, aunque no siempre de manera negativa. Cuando un individuo se comporta como su tipo inconsciente, es probable que esté experimentando un momento de dificultad o un nivel de estrés más elevado de lo habitual. Sin embargo, todavía queda un lado más por explorar, y ¿podría ser incluso peor?

Cuarto lado: Super-ego

El cuarto lado es el Super-ego (también conocido como sombra u oculto) y está representado por el tipo de personalidad que tiene las funciones cognitivas dominante y auxiliar como demon y trickster del original, respectivamente. Tomemos como ejemplo al tipo ESTJ, el ESTJ tiene Fe demon y Ni trickster, por lo tanto, su tipo de personalidad asociado al Super-ego sería el ENFJ. El Super-ego es el aspecto menos conocido y explorado de la personalidad, ya que se encuentra oculto detrás de la agenda y las motivaciones conscientes. Representa lo más profundo y oculto de uno mismo. Cuando una persona vive predominantemente en este lado durante un período prolongado, se encuentra atrapada en la sombra de su ser y puede estar pasando por momentos muy difíciles. En estos casos, es fundamental contar con ayuda externa para superar los desafíos y encontrar un equilibrio saludable.

Entonces, considerando el tipo INFP, se pueden identificar los cuatro lados de su mente de la siguiente manera:

Ego: INFP, moralidad idealista y expectativas soñadoras

Subconsciente: ESTJ, organización irracional y zona de confort

Inconsciente: ENFJ, ansiedad social y preocupado por sus decisiones

Super-ego: ISTP, inconsistente e ignora su propio impacto

Esta teoría ha demostrado ser útil para explicar los cambios de comportamiento en muchas personas en relación con su tipo de personalidad, como los mencionados anteriormente. Sin embargo, es importante tener en cuenta que existen limitaciones y que no siempre se actúa como otros tipos a menos que el contexto ejerza influencia. En general, una persona tiende a comportarse principalmente de acuerdo con su tipo principal, incluso considerando los demás lados de su mente.

Todo esto nos ayuda a comprender cómo se comporta una persona en diferentes momentos de su vida o incluso si su salud mental se ha visto afectada por el entorno. Es recomendable utilizar esta teoría cuando surjan dudas al clasificar o identificar el tipo de personalidad de alguien. Por lo general, el lado más activo después del Ego es el Subconsciente, por lo que es normal que una persona, bajo estrés, pueda sentirse como todo lo contrario pero aún similar a su tipo principal.

Or: through a variety of factors (proximity to death, their own death/near death experiences, exposure to the Lazarus Pits, the favor of Lady Gotham, immersion in Gotham's own cursed ambient ectoplasm, being a close knit group who continued to expose eachother, etc.) the batfamily have been becoming liminal/ecto-contaminated without noticing. The powers they're developing have been subtle, and align with the skills they expect to have, so no one brought it up when they started being able to hold their breath beyond human limitations, or got so sneaky that they literally seemed invisible, or had a lucky miss when they expected a bullet to go right through them. And they always exuded an unsettling aura of fear, so no one else thought anything was out of the ordinary either. By the time they meet Danny, Gotham counts as one of the most fiercely defended ghost haunts on the planet, with so many territorial liminals patrolling the streets.

Decidit's Curse! Elder Faerie :D He's an Angel. Angels were created by the witches as a way to keep an eye on Earthbread, and there are three different types. Wanderers, Guides, and Guardians.

Wanderers would be like fairies or fae from legends. they don't really have a role other than to exist and watch over life for the witches. The Guides, which would be Silverbell, would have more direct interactions with cookies. Their job is to watch over the cursebearers, sometimes even interacting with them directly, though that is rare. They're also the most friendly. The Guardians are the executioners, defending against cursebearers and stepping in when they become too far gone. Mercurial Knight would be a Guardian.

Elder Faerie is the King of the Angels and thus, has four wings.

All Cursebearers, depending on how far along their curse is, have an instinctual dislike for angels.
