I used to go to book stores before the pandemic whether I plan to a book or not. One thing I've come to really appreciate is the privilege of having a number of book stores in the community where I grew up in and the influence I got from my mother who also loves reading. I lost a story that I absolutely adored so I hope you can help! It was a WIP last I remember.. Steve and Bucky are married: Steve is a strike agent and Bucky is a professor. Bucky is visited by Zola and turns down working with him. Steve gets injured by tesseract weapons and Bucky risks his career by using the serum which hasn’t released to the public yet. Bucky gets kidnapped and... that’s where I lost it :( I hope someone can help! And then I highly recommend it once it’s found :) thank you!!!

Bucky’s abusive stepdad (pierce) has just been released from jail and is coming back home. Steve is a war vet who uses a wheelchair, is mega catholic, and also has a history with pierce and lives with still-alive Sarah. Hi, I've been looking for this fic everywhere and I can't find it. It had pre-serum Steve. It starts with Bucky coming home from the war, ready to confess his feelings, but he finds out that Steve is engaged. There was a song called "a hundred years from today". It was 7 chapters long. At some point I think Bucky kisses Steve's fiance. Buck's lost his arm in the war. They were together before the war for a while. That's all I got. Thank you so much in advance!
