NOT the comic i've been wanting to make and post but heres a comic about the last two years of my life; including my infamous former roommate twitter story thread, summarized & an unfortunate situationship.

au in which obi-wan drops his lightsaber when he is shot down during order 66 and, in-line with canon occurrences, cody catches the lightsaber. this (through some kind of force stuff) deactivates his chip. unfortunately, obi-wan doesn’t realise and they escape separately. cody joins the rebellion, and the lightsaber remains a closely guarded secret and a symbol of his guilt/the past. it remains like this until obi-wan is called upon to rescue leia and, for the first time in years, actually wants use of his lightsaber. the lightsaber (again, through some kind of force stuff, perhaps obi-wan’s gradual reconnecting with the force) realises this and attempts to guide cody to obi-wan. cody is however firmly convinced obi-wan is dead, and also very busy with rebellion stuff, so does not realise what is happening. eventually, their paths collide (their stubbornness is strong but the force and obi-wan’s lightsaber are stronger) and they reunite, now with shared custody of a lightsaber.

I always say this but non chileans fans of Pedro really dont give a fuck when he posts or shares chilean related things like right now we have MASSIVE wildfires going on. 100+ people lost their lives in Viña, Quilpué and more and that list is only going to grow because there is so much devastation that we have no enough resources to retrieve the corpses. This is the most deadly dissaster in our country since the 2010 earthquake in Constitución.

Lots of people lost their homes, loved ones, sources of income. In Viña we had a 100+ years old massive garden, home to lot of native species of flora and wildlife and it was totally destroyed by the fire.

And i guess this hits specially for Pedro since almost everytime he comes to Chile, he stays in Cachagua which as Viña is located in Región de Valparaíso.

What's K.O. CRISIS?

Hey all. Over the past couple months, I've gotten a lot of followers who probably don't know about my OCs and portfolio projects that I'm also working on, so I'm making a quick master-post for it!

K.O. CRISIS is a series of artwork––character designs, illustrations, sketches, and animations––inspired by late-90s/early-2000s anime and Y2K culture.

Set in an alternate-history Los Angeles in the year 2001, the story follows disabled Taiwanese-American Ashley Tang as she fights her way to the top of the bracket in the national augmented boxing championship.

As the youngest female fighter in the championship, she'll have to fight tooth-and-nail to defend her place amongst the heavy-weights. While her rare dual arm prosthetics help even the playing fields, it'll take more than brute strength to prove her worth.

But this isn't a story about an underdog triumphing against all odds. Throughout the story, Ashley will push herself to the limit for the sake of validating her existence under the grinding heel of the sports media machine, in a world that values disabled bodies more than their lives. As the championship rages on, one question seems to linger through the roar: Is Ash strong enough to win, or is she brave enough to quit?

Through the project, I'm hoping to explore representations of prosthetic-users in pop culture as "enhanced superheroes," as well as discussions of trans-humanism under medical capitalism, the fetishization of new technology, and the commodification of disabled people as entertainment.

Accompanying her journey include characters like Noora Balakrishnan, a local transfem prosthetics engineer who doubles as Ashley's ringside mechanical cutwoman.

The project is still in its early stages, especially since I sorta rebooted it earlier this year (meaning I'm no longer using past, outdated art for the project). If you enjoy it, you can find more artwork for the project under the #ko crisis tag!

I don’t know how to explain any more clearly that it doesn’t MATTER if it seems legitimate to you. You have got to fact check every single headline and post and claim on the left just like you need to do on the right.

The left is NOT immune to misinformation and rushed reporting. And the more emotionally polarizing or shocking the talking points, sound bytes, and headlines are, the worse it is and more frequently it happens.

Learn to verify through multiple independent sources. If you can’t do that, you can’t trust it.

If you have to wait extra hours for the real information to come through vetted channels—NOT just one individual somewhere everyone links to, and not just one single media source either, EVEN if it’s a major news network—thats just how it has to be. What news outside of genuine local disasters near you TRULY needs your outrage and post-sharing in the next hour specifically?

Misinformation works best by not seeming like misinformation and by fitting in with the rest of what you already expect to see. It doesn’t help anyone to not be able to recognize and avoid the stuff.

"AGH this is SO stupid! We can't even play signal samurai without our third samarai!" Nick crouches besides him looking kind of unbothered. "Well we could play something else like foursquare or-" Miles interjects "EVERYTHING ELSE IS BORING!". Miles sits up, crossing his arms and sulking. "They should make all the girls go to a separate school. Then nobody would kiss anybody." Nick notes a hole in his logic "Well, but boys might just kiss other boys then". "What? No, boys can't kiss other boys, don't be stupid." Miles says dismissively. Nick narrows his eyes. "Uh yeah they CAN". Miles leans forward, ticked off and glaring. "Um NO they canNOT! My dad told me boys can't get married to other boys, it's against the LAW". Nick responds "Married is different than kissing, genius. And anyway it's still POSSIBLE to kiss a boy". Miles is about to explode over being told that he's wrong, his face is red and he points an accusing finger out at Nick, who draws back in surprise. "well OBVIOUSLY they TECHNICALLY could, but nobody WOULD do it because it's a rule and people follow rules because they have to! And if you don't they'd put you in JAIL probably! So no boy would EVER kiss another boy OKAY?" Miles is tensed up waiting for Nick's response. Nick glances down at his outstretched finger, thinking about how he can prove Miles wrong, and gives it a tiny kiss. Miles starts screaming. /END ID]

There is currently a video/screenshots circulating of Michael in costume on the set of GO 3 where he is noticeably holding an umbrella low over his head as he walks through the street. His face can also be seen in the video, and he looks visibly pissed off at being filmed. While I am absolutely not about to tell anyone else what to do--and because he's made his feelings very clear--I personally have decided against reblogging any posts of Michael on set.

I know we're all excited to finally see something after weeks and months of so little, but I can only imagine the stress that Michael is currently under from all of this--the situation with Neil casting a pall over the show, on top of him already taking the entire weight of production on his shoulders the way he normally does--and I hate the thought of him ending up even more upset because of this.

And again, it's completely up to each person to decided for themselves what to post or not post on their own blogs...but for my part, I'd much rather wait until Michael is ready to share any behind the scenes peeks or tidbits himself...
