This one’s for my oc Zack (and I will also probably talk about his girlfriend Violet here a lot too because she is very important to his story.)

Alright so let’s get into it:

Birth name: Matteo Giovanni Marino

Changed name to Zack Ryan Bars when he was 9 years old.

Backstory:

Early Life/Childhood:

Zack was born as Matteo Giovanni Marino on December 5th, 2000 in Brooklyn to Italian-American parents Vincent and Giovanna Marino. He is the second of four children, he has an older brother, Dominic (26), and twin younger siblings Antonio (Tony) and Maria (15). Zack’s dad was a mob boss, causing Zack to grow up around a lot of violence. When Zack was 9, his mom had enough and moved her kids away and had their names changed. Zack was the only one who really stuck with the new name as Dominic moved back with his dad after dropping out of high school. As Zack got older, he hated Dominic because his father would constantly compare Dom to him– and that infuriated Zack. He had no intentions of joining his father’s crime family like Dominic had done.

Zack grew up Catholic and went to Catholic school until 8th grade. He lost the faith as he entered his teenage years and realized that God is never going to answer his prayers. Still, he finds it hard to let go of. Sometimes, if he has a really bad episode, he finds himself praying, even though he knows nothing is out there listening to him.

Relationship with Violet:

Zack met Violet when they were 16. They both went to the same highschool and shared an English class. Zack thought about asking her out for weeks, but was always too scared or nervous to talk to her. While staying late at school one day, he noticed three guys picking on Violet and knew he couldn’t just ignore it. He got suspended for a week after getting into a fight with them, but he thought it was worth it. Zack asked Violet out that evening after giving her a ride home and they have been dating ever since. He loved Violet and would do anything for her, but his protectiveness over her causes him to make some bad decisions down the line.

ANTICHRIST:

Zack played drums in a metal band called ANTICHRIST in high school and college. The band is composed of Zack Bars (drums), Tyler Cambell (vocals, occasional rhythm guitar), Trey Wilson (lead guitar), and Derek Brooks (bass). The four of them formed the band when they were in 8th grade. They all went to the same Catholic school together and had been friends since elementary school. They all got expelled in 8th grade for messing with a ouija board in the bathroom while skipping class and getting Trey to fake a demonic possession during mass. ANTICHRIST as a band is inspired by Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Omens, and Motionless In White.

After Violet’s accident:

Zack freaked out after Violet got struck by lightning. He was terrified that she wasn’t going to wake up and he’d lose her forever. When she started showing that she had powers while in a coma, he panicked and almost convinced himself that the past few weeks had just been a dream. When Violet’s dad (Stan Williams) showed up and offered Zack a job, he took it because he thought it would be the only way to keep her safe. While working for Stan, he was given the name Hawk and would be sent on various missions by Stan, where he started making some enemies. Zack lost his right arm due to an explosion on a mission and was given a metal arm two weeks after. He hated it at first, but got used to it after a while. Zack started killing people after he took the job. All of his kills before Violet woke up were orders from Stan. The first few times he killed, he broke down afterwards, but the more people he killed and the more he was experimented on made him treat every kill as just a job.

Experimentation:

Violet’s dad expressed to Zack that he wanted to study Violet’s powers more. Zack knew that meant he wanted to experiment on her and there was no way in hell Zack was letting that happen. He made a deal with Stan and said that he would let Stan experiment on him all he wants, but he can only help Violet learn to control her powers. So, Zack was put through months of intense experimentation as Stan slowly turned him into a weapon. His memory became fuzzy and he just felt either numb or angry all the time. From the experimentation, Zack gained superhuman strength as well as faster reflexes than the average person. What Zack learned later was that Stan secretly experimented on Violet while she was in a coma and found a way to extract some of her power, which he then put into Zack.

Death:

Zack knew he was being turned into a weapon and it was only a matter of time before he lost everything. His biggest fear was that he would lose his mind and end up hurting Violet. He hatched a plan to help her escape, but he knew he wasn’t going to make it out alive– at least, he hoped he wouldn’t make it out alive. In his mind, dying was his way of keeping Violet safe from himself. Violet eventually found out about the experimentation done on Zack and he decided to get her out of there that night. During the escape, Zack was shot in the left arm and right thigh and told the soldiers trying to help him to get Violet out and leave him. Violet protested, but he told her that it’s for the best and he loves her. Zack then confronted Stan and after a brief conversation, Stan told Zack that he doesn’t need him alive to continue the experiments and shot Zack in the head.

Resurrection:

What Zack didn’t know before dying was that Stan had been conducting other experiments involving bringing people back to life. Stan had tried turning Zack into a full-blown weapon while he was alive, but was getting nowhere. He had put off killing Zack until he could get Violet out of the way, but when Zack confronted him, he took the opportunity to get it over with and kill him. When Zack was brought back to life, he had no memory of who he was before he died. He was told that his name was Hawk and he had no idea that he even died. He became an entirely different person. One day, Stan sent him on a mission to bring Violet back to him. Violet still believed that Zack was dead and had been living at Zack’s mom’s house for the past year. When Zack showed up, she tried to talk to him, but he didn’t know who she was other than that she was his mission. He brought her back to the base Stan worked on. She escaped again, but came back a week later, broke him out and brought him back to the lab her brother, Max, worked at. (More about this on Violet’s sheet.) Violet tried to talk some sense into him, but he had no idea who she was or who she thought he was. On a couple occasions, Zack hurts Violet and almost kills her, but she won’t give up until she gets him back to who he was before. She found a tiny metal panel behind his ear and after further investigation, discovered he had a microchip in him. Violet got Max to take the chip out and Zack woke up, unaware of everything he did as Hawk. He eventually regained his memories and was horrified to learn about what he did.

Post-Resurrection:

A couple weeks later, Zack and Violet (with the help of the group Max was working with) infiltrate Stan’s base to take the project down. The intention was to keep Stan alive so he could be questioned about what exactly the program did to superhumans. Zack pretends to act as Hawk to get close to Stan, but Stan realizes it’s a trap quickly. He had one of his technicians inject Violet with a hallucinogen that makes her see her fears that Stan got from a man that Zack encountered before he died (wow wonder who that was inspired by). The serum also causes intense pain and Zack snapped seeing Violet like that. Zack attacks Stan and ends up beating him to death.

Tommy: I...I want to kill Grace, omg. Congratulations, you made her an asshole in every facet that the comics were trying for in the beginning of everything and didn't have the balls to pull off. I hope Mystic Mother tucks her into a secondary dimension to think about everything for a hundred years, omg. But Ricky is adorable~ Trini: Okay, that bit where "Everyone is going to die or wants to kill you!" Made me laugh SO HARD? I mean, this is probably the most balanced, peaceful idea of a couple with Minh and fostering J.J. and yet...I laughed. Jason: Matt likes the way Diego likes piggy backs. And dinosaurs and zombies. Matt likes how whole he feels with Jason and Diego. + It devolved into a lot of pent up rage related sex. And then all of that was gone…and there were two angry hurt teenagers who didn’t know how to be healthy about love or sex. Cut to fifteen years later, Jason’s a mechanic, Matt’s an accountant. And nothings changed. In between then and now, Jason had a kid.

Zack: ....I am trying to find the through line on how the hell Saba ended up under this roof, but I do not mind one way or another; it was time to have a GIRL for this position, gdi. Sharkie: I see those Easter Eggs. And I APPROVE. And I also love this poor Gavin child, omg. A man who works in a coffee shop does not deserve this kind of stress Q_Q But Radio sister and tiny-trying-trying-TRYING punk brother will find a way to help. We all know it. Marleau: I see this woman is batting a 0 with any offspring she might have. I don't like to see the little baby being hurt, but it was the best way for Matt to get him. And hey, they grew into shared interests and I can totally see Minh dating him leading to rather...interesting stories overheard. Stan: ....I LOVE this child. Not just because of the nickname that I am going to ride on until the wheels fall off, but because I am trying so hard to figure out where his real name came from. Which one of these traumatized boys read that godforsaken book? I am also trying to figure out how he became a Red. Like, what? *pokes a stick in Andros and Tommy's direction--stay away from this child* Violet: I am going to assume this was cut off at the beginning, because this could be from GGPR or in the aftermath of the Zedd Dome thing. But, carrying on. I know Myrtle was just playing with the theme of plant names, but she feels like a Green just because it would be SO FUNNY. Especially with that comment about not caring about the Rangers and getting shoved in a locker. Hello destiny~ 0_0 Tyrian is going to make his father cry, I just know it. VIOLET is going to go after whoever the mentor is with a crowbar, but Matt is going to just tackle this boy and hug him and make his awkward sobbing everyone else's problem. I love this~ I LOOOOOOOOOOVE this~

Kimberly Hart:

Kelson Hart. Aged 21. Older Twin brother to Kira Hart. Kim’s a single parent, raised her kids mostly on the run after Matthew died when they were four, but she and Matt never got married. More of a friends with benefits thing, off and on until she got pregnant with twins. Kelson has nothing to do with his family. Intergalactic diplomat at 21. Does not live on earth, but shows up every Christmas. He is not associated with any color. He blames power rangers for a lot of his family and planet problems actually. He loves his mom and sister and family, but he can’t bypass their glaringly massive differences in opinions.

Kira, aged 21, younger twin sister to Kelson, green ranger on SPD B Team. She’s often her brothers body guard when he’s on earth for official business, but they bicker constantly when they actually speak to each other outside of work. He blames the power rangers for everything, she thinks he’s an idiot. The reason Kim was on the run in the first place was an unreformed Zedd heard about the kids and as Matt used to work for him, decided those kids were his, actually. As payment. Matt died killing Zedd. That wasn’t power rangers fault, that was Zedd’s fault.

Billy Cranston;

When Billy loses his ranger status and goes to work for Grace, Matt is also there as the green ranger. Billy keeps his distance for a while; the guy is more or less a massive dick. Especially over something that wasn’t Billy’s fault. Billy’s also not taking pot shots at his friends or Zordon over it with Matt. They start dating after the War, and Matt’s final betrayal. More because he finally wore Billy down, but Billy had a good time hanging out with him again. And then both of them had the rude realization at the same time of “I am attracted to this man-fuck he noticed-oh he’s into it” which snowballed. They adopted one kid, and had another via help from alien technology mixed with a little magic. Nora, aged 26, is a professional hockey player. Matt decided he was going to support her sport even if it wasn’t his sport. Billy quickly developed a love of hockey at one of her events when she was little. Mostly because this game is ridiculous. Though he does worry about her on the ice. A lot. They adopted her when she was five, and she’s loud and enthusiastic and very rarely is she ever sad or genuinely upset. Her opinion on things is mostly “be friendly at it or challenge it to a fight” and generally speaking the options work enough she’s never needed to figure out other plans of action. She met her wife during a game. She’s from an opposing team. Nora gave her a concussion; she knocked Nora’s front teeth out. This was par for the course and they bonded in hospital. Billy’s still trying to figure out HOW. Matt thinks it’s hilarious. Is the green dragon ranger. She is legitimately feared by most and can solve most problems without suiting up. The threat is enough.

Their other child is Abner. He’s socially transitioning, he’s 18. He wants to be a writer. He and his sister have a very loving if slightly antagonistic relationship. When Abner came out to her, Nora’s response was “well now you don’t need to steal my clothes. Give them back” which lead to an argument but not the one Abner was expecting. They negotiated the clothing situation. Abner’s not giving back a pair of boots; they look way too good on him. Matt and Billy both support him. Matt sometimes slips up with name, however he’s quick to correct himself. Billy helped Abner choose his name, and was the first person he came out to. Abner is a little self conscious about his looks, and about his public image. More in regards to if he’s going to make his family look bad. Like Matt he tends to brood and focus on negative details way too much. Like Billy he tends to strive for perfection and his vocabulary makes it hard for people to understand him.

Eugene Skullovitch;

Matt dives head first into the villain persona, and is happily doing so. He's thriving. Until he's forced into an ultimatum; save Bulk and Skull from certain death by the hands of Goldar, or vanquish the Solar Rangers. Against his better judgment, he saves Bulk and Skull. Skull, unfortunately for timing wise, had said he'd kiss whoever saved their lives minutes before Matt saved them. He's a man of his word, but he also punched him in the mouth immediately after. Matt's confused as hell. So instead of chasing after Kim, begins chasing after Skull because what was THAT. This leads to a very weird redemption arc because Matt has realized 2 things; he likes being kissed by Skull and he does not want Skull mad at him anymore. Cut to fifteen years later; they've got a kid of their own and no actual idea how they got there really. But, they're happy, don't hate each other's guts, their kid's thriving, it's all good. The entire empire of evil absolutely hates them though and Matt somehow managed to get himself on the shit list of Thor. As long as he doesn't go out while it's thunderstorming he should be fine.

Their son is ten, his name is Jude Cook. Jude is one of the weirdly luckiest kids alive. He's survived an insane amount of attempts on his life, falls, kidnappings, and things he should otherwise not survive. His parents have stopped asking how. Loki helped give them a son, which is partly why Thor's pissed, so they've at this point accepted demigod baby is just gonna do what a demigod baby do. It's probably for the best. Spike's his older brother, and is training with Loki to be some sort of spirit of shapeshifting mischief. They both love causing mild trouble. Like Skull, Jude's got a fear of flying which makes things a little interesting. Skull's got his sons and his partner on a very very strict promise; if the shenanigans could cause an enemy of something power, walk away. Walk far away. Neptune exists. We don't want to get on the bad side of Neptune.

in a tangential version, Billy coparents with the two, and studies demigod ten year old, and deals with the Norse gods being in his business. At the very least nobody's been sucked into Ares' prison jar, so that's good.

*Bonus Poly of Billy Cranston, Matt Cook, and Eugene Skullovitch has all above children mentioned. They live in a large house, Eugene's a famous rockstar and restaurant chain owner, and they actually use every room in said house. In this version they met via Matt asking the only person he knew with experience in bdsm for some help with his newly realized kinks; Skull's payment was pizza nights and then Billy got dragged in because he was certain Matt was abusing Skull, but realized it was fine, actually. And fun.

Tommy Oliver;

Tommy and Matt did not really like each other at the beginning. Matt blames Tommy for so so much, but can't do anything about it, and Tommy's missing Dragon Green something terrible and dealing with massive amounts of PTSD for related but different reasons than Matt. Rita trapped them together in a gladitorial area of the Dark Dimension, and Tommy and Matt managed to talk to each other and get into an understanding. When they started dating, it was actually Grace who saw an opportunity, not Rita. But it’d be three more years before she could enact the plan. She didn’t tell Terona, and she was intending to eventually get every coin as well, for a full set.

Verdun Cook is 24, he’s the green dragon ranger, and he’s never met his dads. He’s a top agent for protection of earth. He thinks his parents gave him up to Grace. They think he died in infancy, an unfortunate complication in how he was made. They also think the dragon dagger was destroyed as well, around the same time. When parents and son finally meet, Tommy and Matt are furious. Billy’s furious. Terona's furious. He got Verdun to Tommy and Matt when he found out, even. Everyone’s furious. Matt and Tommy have Verdun live with them to acclimate to civilian life, and get used to being a person. His entire life has been as a weapon; he’s trying to very rapidly learn how to be human. It’s not like he was a success in the program either; the plan was a whole team of legacy rangers in their parents Colors, and he was the only one they could get.

Currently the only people allowed to mess with Tommy and Matt’s DNA is Billy and the Aquitarans and, hilariously, Zedd. He only made a clone. He was very transparent about what he was intending for the clone. Tommy knows where the clone is. He DIDN’T know where his son was, that he was alive, what Grace was intending or what he was doing. He and Matt are in agreement; If they had to chose they’d choose Zedd with their DNA.

When they thought their biological son had died; they adopted. Ricky is fifteen, not associated with a color, and is trying to get used to this with along with their dads. Ricky really is trying to be nice as well, but his overenthusiasm and attempts at bonding are often coming off too strong and borderline antagonistic. He doesn't mean to be. But the bright side is Ricky’s got someone to hang out with. And better yet, Verdun knows nothing about video games, pop culture, or really anything. So. Who wants to watch Star Wars? Ricky's got mixed feelings about his brother, but they're ranging from sad to excited, there's nothing jealousy related. Their dads are awesome, and he's sad Verdun never got to grow up with their dads. And he's excited to be able to have fun with his brother. Ricky is very excitable, and works on the school newspaper. He does volleyball, and has goals to be valedictorian when he graduates. Friendly, upbeat, can sometimes take things too far, but he tries to make those moments right.

They’re all making up for lost time with Verdun. It’s long overdue. At least both kids get along.

Trini Kwan;

Trini smacked sense into him after the upteenth pity party. She also forced him to come along for a mission in space with the Solar Rangers. He wanted to be let in on the whole thing? Fine! They could do that! Welcome to space Matt, everyone you meet is going to die or kill you! Have fun!

After, he put the dagger up, and he and Trini actually talked about what happened on the moon. She also retired from being a ranger, and they focused on taking a page from Bulk and Skull; being helpful as civilians. Matt asked Trini to marry him, and Trini said no. They made a game of it for a few years before she finally did say yes, when they were both financially stable.

They have Minh, and do foster parenting. Currently fostering JJ Oliver, due to unforeseen events leading to both Tommy and Kat unable to care for their kid for the time being. It’s hard being s foster family, but it’s nice being able to see the kids go back to their parents or move on to hopefully better situations. Matt’s at peace, and Trini is too. Trini is a plane mechanic; Matt is a fireman.

Zack Taylor;

During everything Zack and Matt were friends with benefits, though Matt tended to use Zack as an emotional scapegoat as well. Zack finally had enough after a bit, and told Matt either he got his head out of his ass or they weren’t continuing. He was serious, too, and Matt got left in the lurch for a little while before actually looking at himself long and hard and deciding whether or not his grudge was worth losing Zack again. It wasn’t. His parents loved Zack, Kira loved Zack, and most importantly he loved Zack. He came out to his parents and family, and then put in the effort to get over himself to get Zack back. One daughter by surrogate parent, and Matt owes Kim big time. She’s made it clear though. This was for Zack. He gets this, and accepts he and Kim are probably never even going to be friends. His and Zack’s daughter is Layla Cook-Taylor. Layla is sixteen, tiny firecracker of positivity. She has her low moments, but she’s never down for long. She likes swimming and playing guitar. She dances with Zack in dance classes and Matt adores her so so much. She’s frank and earnest and tries her best. She doesn’t give up easily if ever. White ranger. Saba loves her, too. Yes Matt has gotten in arguments with the uppity dagger why do you ask?

Jason Lee Scott;

Getting with Jason felt a little like leaning how to breathe again. Jason came home and Matt quickly got into sparring with him every weekend, like old times. It devolved into a lot of pent up rage related sex. And then all of that was gone…and there were two angry hurt teenagers who didn’t know how to be healthy about love or sex. Cut to fifteen years later, Jason’s a mechanic, Matt’s an accountant. And nothings changed. In between then and now, Jason had a kid. He doesn’t remember who the mother was, and anyway Diego Scott was left on his porch basically. He’s four. Matt likes the way Diego likes piggy backs. And dinosaurs and zombies. Matt likes how whole he feels with Jason and Diego. It’s pretty late in life, but he’s willing to make a go of this, if Jason is willing. And so far, he is. Diego keeps the two on their toes, being ready to get into the thick of everything and anything. But he's four, that's typical, and he's Jason's. And Matt thinks the kid's the best.

Sharkie;

Surprisingly the two manage to click and gel together really well. Three kids, two boys and a girl. Lexie Cook aged 24, Gavin Cook aged 19, and Quincy Cook, aged 17. Sharkie and Matt bonded over being left behind by their friends, though Sharkie doesn’t have any ill will to Bulk or Skull. Stuff happens. The first time he morphed he did it to impress Sharkie and she laughed in his face. He then spent the rest of his life trying to impress her, and stumbled into becoming a better person in the process.

Lexie Cook works as a radio host for a popular music station. She has a popular segment where she runs down the monster of that week and ranks it’s strengths and weaknesses and how to avoid it while putting out a prediction for the next week’s. She does this in between her music playlist, and she’s been right in her predictions a few times. Starts and ends her show saying hi or goodbye to her parents. She has a huge sweet tooth and will do anything for sweets. Lately her brother Gavin's been Off, so she's been adding him in the hi and goodbye, and a 'hang in there bud' as well. not associated with a color

Quincy “Flea” Cook is one of the punks at school, and one of the comedy duo. He's antagonistic to the 'goody twerps' Matt just knows is the power rangers, and neither he nor Sharkie really know if they should step in or just let this play out. Currently letting it play out. Quincy’s grown a lot since the current team's shown up, and he's gotten braver, less self serving, and a lot more noble. Matt's just made sure he's well aware he needs to get out of a situation if buildings are falling. No exceptions. He can grab the person closest to him but he is staying out of the area. Sharkie is making sure he also knows when to stop antagonizing, and know who and what all monsters are. Quincy is in love with art but he's got a Reputation. He's gotten a reputation for being spraypainting sides of buildings. His murals are always well done, but with a sense of humor, and often calling out the villains. Something's up with his older brother though, so he's been trying to figure out what. not associated with a color

Gavin Cook's currently working for the villains. Mind controlled, he's not really even interested in power rangers, normally. Evil ranger sixth ranger, he's been living with a roommate since he was eighteen in an apartment near his parents house and sister's apartment (the reasoning being this is his first try at being properly independent, and if he needs help they're near him to assist if need be). They don't spend enough time with him to know anything other than he's not acting right. Quincy's actively trying to figure out what's wrong though, and Gavin's dreading the day he's going to be told to attack his own family members. He's the villainous Maximum Ranger, and he's waiting for the good rangers to free him and his roommate so he can get back to not caring about power rangers. and hug his family. and go get therapy because yea...he needs to Unpack This. When not a mindcontrolled villain, Gavin's pretty chill. He lets Quincy hang out to get away from their parents, and usually is playing music while watching his brother. He works at the local coffeeshop, which is where the good rangers love hanging out. He hates spying on them, he used to love the atmosphere, and he knows his dad and his job is why he's currently here. All his parents know is he went missing for a week and came back, well, off. They're there when he asks for help, the kicker being, right now Gavin literally cannot.

Marleau Eskin;

He got with her in high school to get back at his former friends and ex girlfriend. It was a joke, turns out he’s the joke. But he and Marcel don’t talk to Marleau anymore. Matt’s a sports reporter, and Marcel’s a professional esport gamer in his late 20’s. Matt sees his kid on the weekends for weekly lunches and check ins. Had to take a second when Marcel said he’d started dating Minh Kwan. Had to decide if the anger was worth it. It wasn’t. He’s not talking to the group still, but Marcel’s got his blessing, and he's fine with Marcel seeing Minh. That has to count for something. Matt was able to prove without a shadow of a doubt that Marleau was a negligent parent, and had left their kid in frankly dangerous situations when he was young. Marcel broke his arm left alone at a park, and Matt was never more happy or enraged. But, it lead to Marcel being genuinely happy as the son of a single parent, so Matt's happy to let him live his life. Also somewhat relieved Minh or her family heard the last name 'Cook' and is still letting this happen. Marcel is not associated with a color.

Stan Skullovitch;

They were kidnapped together and replaced with putties. They were tortured together, and formed a trauma bond. Stan had enough sense to say 'no' to a relationship with someone who 1) hated his brother and 2) was still in highschool. However they kept running into each other over the years. When they did get together, it was when Matt had his head out of his ass a little, and was in a stable job. Stan was a singer at a lounge, and the trauma attraction had settled into a healthier flavor. Everyone's got their opinions on the two getting together but it seems okay right now? Rita as Mystic Mother used magic to give them a child because as Matt pointed out in a confrontation with her; she kind of owed them big time. Ulysses "Bones" Skullovitch is twelve, and kind of a natural wanderer. It's not unusual for him to leave the house at dawn and come back around dinner time with all sorts of things in his pockets. He's not loud, but he's not shy. Prefers watching than acting, though will step up if need be. Stan finds it hard to not worry about him, but Spike and Spike's friends keep an eye on Bones while keeping their distance. He's alright, he's just the kind of person that likes being by himself playing. However he might be getting some friends, and Matt's starting to wonder if power rangers is a genetic thing. Bones will be a red ranger when old enough.

Violet Arias;

she slapped him. Then yelled at him, then apologized because his cheek was swelling and her nail had accidentally caused a cut on his eyelid. He had to wear an eye bandage for two weeks and she gave him flowers. Then he apologized for, well. everything. After that they started dating, balancing his ranger status with school and her trying to be okay with it. They've been in hiding with their kids since Zedd put a price on Matt's head. Myrtle and Tyrian are fifteen and ten, respectively. They don't know their dad was a green ranger and still is when called to be so, Matt's not going to put them in danger over this. As much as he can help, anyway.

Myrtle Arias plays the trumpet in the school marching band. She's extremely good at coded cyphers, and wants to be the president of the united states one day. She's also on the chess team. She has no opinions on the power rangers or the monsters that seem to constantly show up. She's just trying to get through school without being shoved in a locker. Hard to connect to her dad, who was a popular kid, so it's easier to talk to and connect to her mom. is not associated with a color.

Tyrian Arias learned his name's the actual name for the color royal purple (named after the snails whose shells are used for the pigments) and decided he was going to make this his entire personality. He is a ten year old sixth ranger, he is not hiding this. His only saving grace is that he is constantly telling so many tall tales his parents aren't entirely sure if he's telling the truth (and if he is there will be WORDS with whoever gave him Purple), and everyone else thinks he's just an exceptionally imaginitve kid. Matt is...hoping the extra excitable new ranger is not, in fact, his son. However, deep down he knows it's Tyrian and he's freaking out.

Warren has a tiktok account where he does pranks on hostel members(and sometimes Big Deal if he sharpened up his Jeet Kune Do skills cause boy-) but he doesn't know that the comments are laughing AT him not WITH him.

I firmly believe Jake is still stuck on his musically phase and taught Johan 2016 slang while they were doing their shift as bouncers. You do not understand how mortified Zack was to hear Johan use 2016 slang.

Gun actually just tells everyone he meets who's at least decent at fighting that they're "wOrThy tO bE mY suCcEsSor" just to inflate their ego.

Every time Big Deal wants to recruit someone into their gang, they just chase them down until they get a yes.

Overall, I really enjoyed the episode. The stakes are high and I’m glad the other relationships are getting screen time. The balance was good this week, I wish it was like this every week. My only issue is how underdeveloped the plot was this episode, but beside that it was pretty good.

I got an ask the other day (that for some reason has now disappeared, I am so sorry 😕) to the effect of “we talk about ASGZ having fanclubs/being recognized as celebrities, but I think that Noctis would have had his own share of stans too” and I just want to say: I 100% percent agree with you and am glad someone else feels the same way/has thought about this too, Anon. Lol.

I hope you see this and don’t mind me rambling:

I feel like XV’s universe in general would make the whole fanclub/celebrity status thing way more accessible and easier to make into a ‘thing’ than VII’s, honestly. I also feel like “Crown Prince” is, at least at face value, a much more universally attractive title (at least like... in a fairy tale type of way, if that makes sense?) than a title like “SOLDIER 1st Class”.

Noct is a cute little kid and teenager, very cute in a boy band/emo sort of way at 20, and very attractive/handsome at 30. I think that — especially if nothing bad had happened and he’d taken over as king in more normal circumstances — there’s no way he wouldn’t have gotten attention at some point if he didn’t already.

Alsooo younger Regis (and Clarus, by association) were not unattractive by any means, and people like Cor are good-looking too, so I don’t think the whole ‘celebrity/fanclub for Royalty and Royalty adjacent’ thing would even start with Noct:

Also, for some in-game support for this: There’s like a magazine or something in the very first chapter of the game that states Luna’s wedding dress is being designed by Vivienne Westwood, and that’s (typically) celebrity gossip if I’ve ever heard it. I do get that politics plays heavily into their marriage as well and that’s gonna garner attention too or whatever, but still.

Not to mention, the whole celebrity status thing probably wouldn’t be just Noct either — the whole retinue is attractive and that’s a bonus that’s likely to get its own fair share of attention. Like:

Gladio is also probably (?) some sort of nobility (I’d assume? I’m not totally sure. Has that ever been confirmed? I admittedly haven’t looked very hard) and is drop dead gorgeous + has the literal job of orbiting Noct as his Shield so he’s going to be pretty visible in the public eye — especially with his stature. Plus you know that whole ‘allergic to shirts’ thing he has going on would catch plenty of attention. (He’d eat that shit up, too.)

Iggy’s gorgeous too (+also possibly some sort of nobility?) and would also be constantly orbiting Noct — though he strikes me as the type that wouldn’t enjoy the extra attention at all, especially if he had like a pretty bad awkward phase and/or something when he was younger or something and/or that attention made his job more stressful/tedious.

Prompto’s literally just the cutest ever and I think his whole personality would catch on with the public very quickly and easily. He’d be happy to smile for the cameras but don’t think he’d care about the attention. He’s also out here getting the best shots of Noct and selling ‘em because he’s in good with prince and can get him to actually smile.

But yeah, totally see it too. I just think it’s more of a thing for Crisis Core/FFVII because that game is pretty clear about the big three and how dedicated their respective fan clubs are. Plus the emails or whatever from the existing clubs and Zack getting his own club is like a little side thing, so it’s a lot more memorable.

I know this got long, but I think this is a really fun concept when applied to XV tho — especially in like the brotherhood to pre-roadtrip era.

They’re really at the temple now.. do they know how significant this place is to the story or is this just a major plot convenience? Or are we gonna completely cut of The 7 Walls too?

As a former (at least partly) Panic! at the Disco Meme Blog I want to share this.

Here's my personal opinion

I had high hopes (no pun intended) for a statement to calm the nerves and hurt I (and some of my close friends) experienced because of this [the band meant a lot to me, the person that was Brendon Urie meant a lot to my friends]

But.. i will not return to create content based on Panic! at the Disco things.

Personally, this was pretty disappointing for someone who cares so deeply about his fans.

- the lack of presence

- the complete lack of information

- this is 4 minutes long... A minute for each month of silence about a pressing issue?

Some people don't like that he's still friends with Zack, but that's his private life and not the choices a performer/artist makes.

As fans, we don't have a single say in his private life and people seem to forget that a lot.

I don't say this to validate that decision.

No, I think that exactly shows what kind of person he is right now. And is another reason I personally will refuse to support him anymore.

But that's my opinion. I will not support Brendon Urie.

Instead of Tommy and Billy falling into the world of the Coinless, it’s David and Stan. And they’re stuck there, for months. Hell they’re stuck together purely by accident and Officer Stone rounding them up together (David was framed by friends. Stan was not.) before what happened happened and they fell into another reality altogether. One where David’s brother he barely remembers became a super villain wack job and Stan’s brother apparently joined him.

Drakkon’s curious about the two, more for the novelty than anything, and puts a bounty on their heads. The two manage to bond in the hours, days, weeks, months after ending up in this desolation. Bonding, falling in love…and suffering the apocalypse scenario. When they are picked up by the Coinless, it’s a game of pretending the food is better than it really is, just to get each other to eat. A game they developed out in the hellscape escaping dark versions of their brothers.

Some people say that Zack looks a lot like SEBASTIAN STAN. His faceclaim is NEGOTIABLE and he is currently AVAILABLE.

Up until two years ago, when Zack thought of safety and home, he thought of grease and motorcycles and the thrill of hunting. He thought of spending endless nights playing pool in a club in Brooklyn, surrounded by people who counted on him but without being tied down to any person in particular. He thought of going wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted, packing his scattered things and driving out into the night, letting the stars lead him.

He never imagined being a father.

Before, family meant memories tied to pain, blood and loss, and growing up in the foster system, learning at a young age that nobody stuck around if he didn’t have enough power to keep them there. It also meant stealing an old truck and going in search of his own people, learning to shoot a gun under Ike’s watchful eye, and taking whichever job paid enough to keep a roof over his head.

Children require stability he didn’t think he had, not when he was twenty, working as a mechanic and hanging with the wrong crowd because they had made him feel part of a whole since he was fifteen, from the first of many times he ran away. Not when he was twenty-six and escaping yet another arrest, throwing away his life because he’s been angry at everything ever since he could remember. And certainly not when he swallowed his pride and admitted to Ike that he was right- there was so much more he could be doing with his life, and took the first bounty the man handed him.

He never imagined being a bounty hunter either. In hindsight, maybe he was meant to be one. He thought that the moment he stood above a small child, miraculously safe in the wrecked car of his latest bounty, eyes big and scared and full of tears. He thought that, when he left the child in the care of the same system that failed him. He just had to go back for him.

The truth is, he never had plans for his life. He had dreams where he lived in a warm home and had two parents who loved him, but those dreams never got the chance to morph into something real. He was thirty-five and turning his life around again, but it’s easier this time, almost natural. It didn’t take long for him to sell his bike because they aren’t safe for children, and he’s gone back to being a mechanic, settling down instead of hunting down the next fugitive. The ritual of cleaning his gun has turned into learning ASL because his son doesn’t utter a single word, and instead of spending several hours on a stakeout, he’s watching the same Disney movie over and over in a blanket fort. That part of him that misses the freedom of racing quiets quickly when pudgy hands reach out and he hears the brightest giggles.

Zack claims being a bounty hunter for all those years made him a loner, but his reality is a five-year-old child who looks up at him believing he has all the answers; his reality is an Italian guy with an attitude that one day burst into his apartment to escape his sister yelling at him, and now Zack can’t get rid of him or his constant snooping around; and the Italian guy’s loud sister who feeds Zack and his son as a thank you for keeping an eye on her brother; and reality is Vinny, probably the only good, authentic and honest person who lent him a hand when he wouldn’t even admit he needed one, and who’s still helping him now despite the years of drifting apart; and Ike, who has been the closest thing as a father after his own died, and who followed him to New York for reasons he doesn’t want to know; and his reality is an annoying, over-sharing cry-baby as well, who is an adult now but just as annoying as back then.

Yet, Zack found himself seeking him out and in the blink of an eye, he moved to New York for good, in his oldest friend’s building, because when he was eleven and bounced off from one foster house to another, after life took everything away from him, the simple act of squeezing in the bed of a whiny kid who cried every night, murmuring every story he could think of to quiet him down, gave something back, and it was enough to make them promise they’ll always be there for each other.

You've always been interested in photography so you asked if you could shadow your aunt

You helped her set up the equipment and went to the dressing rooms to let the model know you were ready

He opened the door right as you were knocking and ended up hitting him in the face

After apologizing profusely and inspecting his eye you realised how close you were

Clearing your throat, you backed up and introduced yourself

The whole photoshoot Jaeden couldn't help but sneak quick glances back at you

WYATT You met at a video game store

You were both reaching for the last copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Unfortunately, he got there first

He smoothly told you that you could share it with him if you gave him your number and got to know him better

You eventually gave in and put your number in his phone telling him that he better not play without you

For the rest of the day, you both ended up hanging out at his house trying to beat each other

When you left, he was still on your mind, especially the fact that you had a date with him next week

JACK You met at the screening test for Shazam

Jack had already been cast but they needed to do a chemistry read on the two of you to make sure that you got along as siblings

The thing is that you got along a little bit too much

The directors said that they couldn't see you two as just friends

The part went to someone else but that didn't stop you and Jack proving the directors wrong of becoming friends

Even if some would say you acted like you were dating

You were always texting and hanging out when he had a break

He even invited you on set a couple of times

Later on, the directors would be right and you would become more than friends

FINN You met on the set of Jimmy Fallon

He was with the rest of the Stranger Things cast while you were backstage watching since you went on next to talk about your new movie "When You Catch Me"

He was doing his Zack Efron in High School Musical impression

Right as he slid over you burst out laughing

Once he sat down your eyes instantly met and you felt a small smile appear on your face as they continued on with the interview

When there was a commercial break he walked over and struck up a conversation that led to him getting your number

Looking next to you the boy was concentrated on the trees with his eyes glued to the binoculars

Subconsciously you started to draw him, making little details

After getting pretty far you went to look at him again and this time were met with a pair of brown eyes looking back

Learning his name was Stanley you kept talking until you had to go home and made plans to hang out with him and his friends at the quarry the next day

EDDIE You met at the quarry

You were feeling frustrated with your family, so you went to go calm down

The quarry's flowing water has always helped

Only this time while you were sitting there and a group of kids interrupted

You decided to leave and take a walk when the smaller boy with brown hair asked if you wanted to join

While you were thinking, your friend Bev showed up and you thought it would be a great idea to stay

The boys all stood at the edge seeing who would jump first

You and Beverly looked at each other with the same look suggesting to jump

You both ran off the cliff while calling them sissies

After the whole experience of hanging out with the losers, they kept asking you to join them and after a while, you became a loser yourself with a slight crush

RICHIE You met in school since you had three classes together

In each class, he sat across the room in your direct line of sight

You tend to space out a lot during school, which meant you would accidentally end up staring at Richie for three classes

Finally, after the third class, Richie had enough and asked if you liked what you saw

You explained to him what had happened, but he kept making little comments

Now whenever you space out, he just winks at you

(Summary: Bill’s past catches up to him which could endanger Eddie’s future.)

Bill Denbrough had gotten over his father’s death. Yes it hurt, he cried, but what hurt even more was watching the rest of his family deal with the loss. Georgie was torn up and his mother sometimes wouldn’t even leave her room. But they were healing and Bill was better. Yes he has gotten over the death of his father, Zack Denbrough, but he has never been able to shake the feeling that there was always something else he was missing.

The police that found him in the woods said he had been dead on sight. The doctors said he had a heart attack. Which just seemed… off, to Bill.

Zack had left for the weekend for one of his various hunting trips. Most people go out in groups, pairs, when they hunt, not Zack. It’s something he’s done tens of times. Every other time he returned without a scratch. Especially the whole death by heart attack. No one in his family has ever suffered from any heart problems and his father was in great physical shape. So this sudden heart attack, caused Bill to believe that something else might’ve been the cause of his father’s untimely death, he may not know what, but he knows it’s something.

The case had gone cold, if that’s even the right term. Since there wasn't really a case to freeze. His father died of a normal heart attack, case closed. So all of his belongings were returned to the family as they were not needed for further investigation. Then, a couple weeks back when Bill was out on the Hanlon's farm with Mike, he lost his phone, never to be found again. Bill opted to inherit his father’s old Iphone 8. His mother was just about to throw it away so he decided to put it to good use.

There wasn't much info on it to erase and Zack mainly used the phone for calling and texting his wife and son (Georgie was too young to have a phone). But when Bill entered his father’s photo album, he was left speechless by what he saw. It wasn't much, no, it was merely a simple photo of a white rabbit. A white rabbit with impossibly blue eyes.

White rabbits were rare, Bill had never seen one before in real life and even then, when you asked someone, they always knew about white rabbits but not many (If any) have actually ever seen one with their own two eyes. That and the fact that the photo was taken the day his father died.

While Richie was explaining the math homework to Bill that night after school, his eyes began to wander. They scanned the Tozier’s yard, eventually falling upon a small white rabbit that sat just behind the corner of their house. It’s icy blue eyes pierced Bill's soul. Suddenly a pit was created in his stomach, it twisted his insides and made his heart beat out of his chest.

Richie tilted his head like a confused puppy, “You good, Big Bill?” he waved a hand in front of Bill’s face to get his attention.

Bill’s mind cleared as he realized where he was, and what he had just seen. “S-Sorry Rich, can you g-give me the sp-sparknotes version? I can’t stay too long, Gu-Georgie is home al-lone” Bill stuttered a little bit more than normal. His thoughts messed up after he saw the rabbit. But nonetheless he carefully listened as Richie quickly explained the rest of the question.

Once they were done, Bill gave his friend a quick goodbye before booking it in the same direction the rabbit went. Richie talked for another couple minutes after he first saw the creature, how far could it have gotten?

Bill sunk behind the bush and hid when Eddie turned to look around him. The human held his breath in hopes of not being found, but he worried that whatever that is won’t be able to hear his heartbeat as it was practically beating out of his chest.

Yes, he was still reeling over the fact that he just saw some small white rabbit turn into a full fledged human. Eddie, that human is fucking Eddie. He looked down at his phone that he had just taken the photos on. He made a mental note to check them later when he wasn’t about to be discovered.

What would he do if he found me? What is he capable of?

Bill’s mind was spinning. He wasn’t even sure how long he had been sitting there. It was the cold wind of the night that pulled him from his thoughts. When he stood up and looked around, Eddie was gone.

Heading home was hard, Bill was the best biker of all the Losers, yet tonight he nearly tipped over twice and had trouble getting going. He couldn’t shake the image of the white rabbit out of his head.

Bill always knew his father hadn't died of a heart attack. He knew it had something to do with that damned white rabbit, somehow. Now he finally has a lead. Eddie.

Going to school the next day Bill's foot wouldn't stop tapping. Not during breakfast when he saw Georgie drinking milk out of his dad's old favourite mug. Nor did it stop on his bike to school, and it certainly didn't stop during lunch when he was the first one at the table watching everyone fill in and waited for the rest of the losers to come, for Eddie to come.

“You okay Bill?” Mike nudged his side. Bill jumped a little at the sudden attention.

Bill shook his head, “Just n-nervous. I've got this b-big project for history” he formulated the lie with ease, after his father passed, Bill had become a little too skilled in the art of lying.

“Need a hand? I had History last semester and I got a pretty good grade if you need help” He offered Bill one of his iconic ‘Mike Hanlon Support Friend’ smiles.

Bill returned the smile, “T-Thanks Mikey, but I should be okay” he noticed Eddie and Richie had entered the cafeteria as he finished his sentence. His eyes found their way down to his lunch where he began to focus on his untouched sandwich.

He waited until the duo got comfortable at the table before he tilted his head up and greeted them. “Ho-How was your n-night?” Bill mentally cursed out his stutter for getting worse under pressure.

Richie inhaled as if he were about to give a speech, “Well Billiam after you left my house I went and jerked it for a-”

“Beep Beep Trashmouth” Stan hissed.

Bill couldn’t help but notice the way Eddie tried to hide his smile as he raised a hand to muffle his giggle. “What about you E-Eddie?” Bill asked with a small nod.

“Oh! My night was fine, just studied and watched TV” He responded with a shrug.

Bill nodded in understanding. The human waited until the conversation became dull before he spoke his mind, “H-Have you guys ever suh-seen a white rabbit around he-here?”. He had to bite his tongue to ensure he didn’t smirk when he saw Eddie visibly flinch under the table.

“It’s actually pretty interesting cause they’re the rarest type of rabbit” Ben informed them with a little pride in his voice.

Mike took a moment to think over his answer before he spoke, “I’ve never seen any near the farm. Well, I’ve seen lots of rabbits, but never white ones” he realized.

“Weird…” Beverly’s voice trailed off as she stared at her uncapped water bottle she held in her hand. She then shrugged, unphased by the realization and took a swig of her water.

Neither Richie nor Eddie contributed to the conversation, and Bill noticed. He also noticed the silence conversation the two shared with their glances and glares. Bill didn’t mention it though, he can’t give them reason to start wondering about him, not when he’s this close to finding out what really killed his father.

The final bell of the day rang throughout Derry High as Bill and Mike walked out of their final class together, Writer's Craft.

“Hey Mikey?” Bill asked.

Mike turned to look at him as he caught his attention, “Yeah Big Bill?”.

“Can I tu-talk to you?” Bill requested as he paused before the boys bathroom and gestured for him to follow.

Mike followed without further question, because that’s the type of friend he was. Always there for everyone.

It was the end of the day so the bathroom was empty. Mike spoke first, “Is everything all-”.

“I think I have a lead on my dad’s murderer” Bill cut him off, getting straight to the point. Not a stutter in sight.

Mike’s face instantly scrunched up, “W-What? Bill your dad had a heart attack”.

“W-we don’t know for sure-”

“Yes we do! Bill I know it was hard but how many times have you come to me saying that?” Mike stopped mid sentence. He let out a small sigh before continuing, his voice held a tinge of sadness as he knew how hard it’s been for Bill. “There’s literally no other way your father could have died. He didn’t have any physical trauma and there weren’t even any fingerprints, it was just his heart” Mike tried to keep a calm tone, but it was hard.

Bill shook his head, “L-Look” He said as he slid his phone from his back pocket and entered his camera roll where he intended on showing Mike the photos he took of Eddie during the previous night. But when he clicked on his most recent photos, all of the ones he took of Eddie were white, as if he had taken then with the flash and it had whitened them out.

“W-What? Mike, no- I swe-ear they were here” Bill’s breathing began to quicken as he rapidly scrolled through his phone. NO, No, no, no, no…

He was about to speak when Bill’s breath hitched. Mike enveloped him in a hug. Bill buried his face in Mike’s shoulder.

“I know, it’s hard… Really hard.” Mike whispered as he began to rub slow circles into Bill’s back, “I know…”.

The conversation he previously had with Mike was on replay while Bill slowly walked through Derry. He kept a close eye on his target. He ducked behind bushes and hid behind trees in hopes of going unseen like he had last time. He followed a solid 30 feet behind his target, always staying out of sight.

He followed him through town, passed all of his friends houses and all of the main buildings. The houses became bigger and more spread out. Bill looked down at his watch, he’d been on this trail for nearly an hour.

Where are you going Eddie?

Bill glanced from behind a tree and watched as Eddie entered the forest. The human watched for a couple minutes before he continued behind him. Bill followed him into the deep woods and down an old overgrown path. He could see the end of the path ahead, so he sat behind a cluster of rocks, casually peaking out every now and then, only moving once Eddie left the forest. He made his way quickly to the end and hid behind a tall evergreen tree. He watched as Eddie walked out into the middle of an empty field and just simply disappeared.

“What the…” Bill’s eyes grew wide as he got to his feet. He waited and watched, slowly walking backwards.

Where did he go? What the hell just happened?

He kept moving backwards, his mind was so overwhelmed that he didn’t even notice the rock under his foot. He only noticed it once it caused him to trip and fall backwards. He landed on his back with his hands trying to soften the blow.

Fuck this

Were Bill’s last thoughts before he scrambled to his feet and fled.

i dunno when and where to start with re:mind but here’s some of my thoughts that i wanna share (does include spoilers!)

starting this decade with sokai content was *chef’s kiss*

guardians (excluding sora) teaming up with that one battle was so fun from the reaction commands to all their little finishes

MOM content was extremely appreciated like the voice acting is so a1 omg they are so funny and calming and like mysterious all at once & i freaking love it like literally more of them pls

roxas/ven interactions, riku/terra interactions, sora/yozora interactions will never NOT MAKE me cry.

scala ad caelum exploration was so fun to do like no joke I WAS TOTALLY HERE FOR THAT

playable! kairi and kairi kicking ass was what i have been begging for in this lifetime.

all the newer cutscenes seem to flow and make sense as to how we got kairi’s heart back and it interesting how they did it

that whole mickey battle moment was so disney like fuck that’s it i’m never giving up

playable! roxas and his station of awakening: everything about that was so majestic bruh he really went and DID that.

oblivion and oathkeeper is so god tier we stan

final fantasy characters played like no role and i miss father sephiroth but it’s fine, we lived. im still ehhh about kh3!squall bc kh2!squall is >>>

there’s so many beautiful scenes like Y’ALL KNOW WHAT I MEAN when i say that like i can’t name them all but one that stood out to me was the connecting the keyhole moment !

data battles are actually hard and i can’t go back and level up like i really finessed through remind on my standard and didn’t think much but now like everyone’s kicking my ass so bad

(after looking up spoilers) yozora being voiced by Dylan Sprouse is so funny to me like it’s the comeback of Zack Martin that we all never saw coming like i just wanna know how he got into doing all this like it’s making me laugh so much

yozora fight! having a good and bad ending like that’s not the most final fantasy thing ever and i kinda gave up at this point with trying to ugh understand this plot but yozora saga where he is trying to help sora? in more ways than one?? including crystallizing him for all eternity?

nomura really cannot give up versus for the life of him and yozora is pretty but imma gonna be the one to say it: noctis’ one is still that trailer. coughs coughs ahem this is a fantasy based on reality

okay im done as of right now like there’s obviously so much i wanna talk about but it’s 4:50am and im tired so yeah missing a bunch but a collection of thoughts! u can reply with anything u enjoyed<3
