Lying to myself everytime Hiccup sends a terror mail in Rtte. Idc about coloration differences, it is Sharpshot. Sharpshot didn't just disappear after Dob.

Hiccup still has him, and loves him, and takes care of him. And he sits on Toothless' head and they play together sometimes but also have an incredibly one-sided rivalry centered around trying to impress Hiccup. And he bothers Hiccup while he's working because he likes laying on his desk like a cat. And for all the shit he gives them, he loves Hiccup and Toothless so much and they're like a little family. He's still there guys he's just chilling in Toothless' saddlebag most of the time.

The series may have forgotten about Sharpshot, but I have not. He is still there and so are all the other dragon riders' trained terrors.

headcanon: sharpshot likes to sleep on hiccup's back, hes learnt from astrid's terror to be extremly sneaky and sometimes hiccup doesn't even notice hes there Which comes in handy when they need to send for backup

Sharpshot also liked doing this during dob or inbetween dob to rtte and he really misses hiccup's fluffy vest because that was best to sleep in

It was generally true that Insecticons were almost always hungry. However that days torture session, during which he had made addmittedly rather excessive use of his electricity powers, had used up a lot of Sharpshot's energy. As a result his already more than healthy appetite had turned almost ravenous.

The sound of Shockwave's voice startled the big Insecticon and he tried his best to hide what, or more accurately who, he had been eating, hoping that Shockwave had not seen it yet. Him feeling famished was not the only reason he had been in such a hurry to devour his meal. Sharpshot had been hoping to avoid getting caught eating a Decepticon.

"Shockwave (wave)!" he exclaimed, trying to act as though he was not at all doing something he wasn't supposed to, though the bright blue energon on his face and claws would probably give him away anyway even if his acting were any good. "I thought you were.. in the lab (lab). Busy with.. something (thing).."

Shockwave was always busy. There was scarce a day where he was not huddled in his lab, bent over a bench working on something. It was his duty here, to continue his work. Although at the rate of the Insecticons, his test subjects were going to be depleting if things like this happened cycle after cycle. 

The energon against Sharpshot’s maw had not gone unnoticed, and soon Shockwave’s single optic focused on the corpse that the Insecticon was poorly trying to hide. 

A grunt. No one major. So long as they were not feeding on important Decepticon soldiers and only simple cannon fodder, Shockwave couldn’t care less. The Insecticons had an insatiable appetite, it appeared. Something that the scientist was hoping to tackle when he had the time, though he made sure to bump that up the list a few spaces. 

“I would prefer you did not leave a mess in my tower,” he commented, walking past the larger mech. “I cannot work in such conditions, Sharpshot. Dispose of this scrap heap immediately.”

I think it would really funny if Terrors are actually kind of nightmarish to train; that or Minicup just drew the short straw and Little Tooth is an outlier because he's Just That Terrible
