I just started playing ffxiv this week and I still have no idea what I'm doing but I keep playing because I finally found a game that has a character creator that allowed me to make and play as the huge buff woman of my dreams 👌

Neynari's parents and Se'txelu/Rolukx's parents, respectively. I've sketched concepts for these characters before, but it's been two years and they were sorely in need of updates. So here's updated concepts!

#oeyä ayskxawngtsyìp #given some of the NPC designs in afop: artificial hair coloring as a fashion seems to be canon for the western frontier clans #(i assume it's artificial coloring and not natural variation because the little tuft on the tailtips is always standard black #even when the head hair is red/brown/blonde)#(and also you can unlock greenish and purplish hues for the player character's hair)#ANYWAYS yeah that said i imagine Seylana started coloring her hair blonde after Neynari was born #to match her daughter :)#vontxu has a bit of an unsettling demeanor but i promise he's actually a nice guy lol #just not always great at expressing himself #tanu's scars come from a near-fatal hunting accident he was involved in when rolukx and se'txelu were young #as you can see he did survive and is fine now...but it was a close call #lunaya wears an absolutely ridiculous amount of hair beads and yes they do all make clicky clacky noises every time she shifts even an inch #might clean/color these eventually (or draw new ones to clean/color) but. we'll see #i do want to do at least one colored doodle of seylana and young!neynari just for the hair color thing #but when will i do that? who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#could be this weekend. could be next year ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we'll see #my art

Ok so when @ask-the-rag-dolly briefly blessed us with more werewolf Ragatha I had the urge to draw her again. But then I went back to the first sketch that I had of this and thought “Yeah, this could be better” So I updated doggo Ragatha to look fluffier and fit closer to a werewolf design and I fixed Pomni up while I was at it. I’m a lot happier with it now.

#I guess I just love drawing Pomni being the comforter in the relationship #I know everyone likes to depict Ragatha as the comforting one but the woman is barely holding herself together and she’s canonically BAD at #Pomni is a lot more patient and understanding when her guard isn’t up #But like…in a sincere way. Not in a ‘brush the bad thoughts away cuz everything’s fine actually’ kinda way #Everyone has a limit and after episode 2 if feel like Ragatha is rapidly approaching her’s #Which is why it’s great that Pomni has finally come to see the others as support. Have been actively resisting re-reading lionheart lately because my reading list is sooooo long and reading time is soooooo limited, so I was extremely excited to learn about M+G Readings! I’ve listened all yesterday evening while doing chores, and I keep finding myself going back to Hermione having to pretend Draco, Harry, and Ron are girls when discussing her friends with her family. I can’t help but wonder if she made up just really horrible feminine versions of their names to help keep her from slipping up??

cressida's storyline was genuinely shameful tbhhh it's like they started rewriting it in the first half of the season then completely forgot about the changes they'd made to make it fit the book plot and it just ends up making everyone else look bad😐 every character in the second half got a "penelope did nothing wrong" lobotomy so we ended up with eloise completely ignoring cressida being sold off to an horrible man (when she made every effort to support her in the first half of the season) and for some reason resenting her for pretending to be lady whistledown? Then they somehow frame her ignoring colin's offensively bad pleas as it being her turning away from redemption when all she's trying to do is escape being trapped in the country with her likely abusive aunt... and it ends with her meeting her horrible fate and it still being framed as tragic only to immediately juxtapose it with the bridgerton family winning the idgaf war while gleefully seeing off francesca and her future dead husband. The bridgertons were the villains of the season frfr
