you know I’ve seen some people musing about this recently and I would like to add my thoughts on it:

Caitlyn Kiramman is like the epitome of that meme about how girls actually play with their barbies. like, you expect her to be Normal and Not Like That and then you watch her commit crimes for six episodes.

one part of her character that means a lot to me is just how committed she is to completely ignoring any authority that she can, and it makes sense! she’s been kept on an incredibly short leash for most of her life, her parents have enough influence to control parts of her life even as an adult, and my girl is probably pretty tired of that!

and like, yes, she’s righteous and good and just and kind and whatever but I think people should remember that her goodness is not her whole character.

it is also her wonderful urge to be just a little insane. Sure, she’ll impersonate an officer, forge official documents, and break someone out of prison. she’ll trade her weapon for drugs, she’ll flirt with a girl in a brothel, she’ll tell her mom to her face that she thinks her mom isn’t doing enough with her power WHILE getting shrapnel removed from her leg.

all this to say: I enjoy watching her buck authority and I wish people in this fandom would stop pretending she’s a pure little goody two shoes just cause she wants to help people. she is also Feral. please let her be Feral.

i sometimes wish that jesson rlly went for it in Phoenix Drop High and made the shadow knights these cringy emo kids who were total jackasses. bc as it stands they barely even scratched the surface of grunge, and i think that making them a group of wannabe emo kids would’ve been rlly fun….. like having them listen to MCR and pierce the veil and make fun of Zane bc he only knows the most popular MCR songs. maybe even put them be in a band but all of their songs just straight up suck and have those “my soul is caged and bleeding :(“ kind of emo lyrics. have Sasha wear the those fingerless fishnet gloves with her uniform. make them force Aphmau to steal a pin from Hot Topic as one of her initiation things. idk maybe it’s just me

smth that ive thought abt n that i dont think ive ever seen touched upon is how similar bea n lilith should be in terms of life experience. like we know canonically that bea never drank. probs never went to a party, or rave or anything like that. didnt have partners most likely, probs never had her first kiss before ava n stuff. theres a lot of first times that beatrice probably experiences cuz of ava in s2, a lot of just. normal regular first times, things teenagers or young adults do, maybe college students, whatever. the most freedom she had was when she was younger, when she "was stepping out of line" as she said, probs doing child things n being dumb, ofc.

lilith is probably the same, except even worse. because i think she was taught to be the warrior nun as soon as possible. bea was actively repressing herself; lilith doesnt even acknowledge theres anything to repress. shes just the future warrior nun, not a mere 12 year old. shes a sister warrior, not just your average 16 year old. as long as her parents were there to watch, she is nothing but a legacy. and i do think lilith had her rebellious phase, ofc. but i dont think it was while she was living with her parents, or even when she was a minor. she knew to make all those obedient, nice years count and as soon as she left for good, she declared she was a new girl, n she would now do things she wanted to do. except... she cant.

she still has to train to be a warrior nun. sure she read books, non religion books. but the guilt of not upholding her end of the bargain of being born in her family as the next in line warrior nun would soon overcome her, n she would drop it. "i'll read it in the future" "i'll try that when im older n independent" its smth all teens, especially teen girls think. when im older, i'll be free. but lilith is not allowed that at all. she knows she likes things... but can she even allow herself the time to enjoy them?? can she watch movies in peace? can she go out, maybe make friends, go on cafe dates, go to the cinema, go shopping? without thinking abt her destiny? can she??? is she allowed peace???

lilith wanted to be free, cuz she thought it was only her parents holding her down. little did she know, while her parents built her cage, she was painting it finished. with how she was raised, lilith was never thought to feel *her* emotions as lilith, but only as warrior nun. n even if her parents ever allowed her peace, she wouldnt have taken it. shes going to be the warrior nun. she has to be. what else is she, but that?

as someone unpopular during the middle and high school days, i was actually aways treated kindly, chill, nicely and well by the popular crew like many of then had this whole charisma charm much more than the mean bitch ™️ energy or whatsoever. hell i even got invited to their parties that i ended going to some of them.

for example, there's was this beautiful girl in particular that won the school pageant tittle twice in a row whom i still remain in contact through facebook lol well, she actually was the one that treated me the best. honestly, i only got beef with two of them that were these homophobic pricks and the kids of these rich right-wingers/pro facists lmao and only because they messed with me first.

most of the people i had toxic and trauma size past/future abusive experiences with, had the same exact weird, unsolved, self-projecting, creepy and obsessive mindset with said kids. they truly had the same vibe as the duffer brothers which tells everything to be known.

that whole rancid ass insecure vibe i smelled and got came from them.

To be honest, while I have a few hcs- I never really care much for trying to make lore/hcs for Morgan? Like, while she had her own life and such- her role in the story IS for Glenn. I care way more about how she affected HIM. She seemed sweet, he loved her a lot, but it never goes past that for me.
