Reading One Piece pt 158: “Mom?”
Chapter 395
Thoughts:
- Fpos/cs: Three BW stole marine ship and are running away! You go, BW, you’re safe now! What about Mr.2
- Villagers are running for their lives and can you blame them
- Cp9 people found Poneglyph in the basement and are pretty creeped out. How did archeologists get that stone here. I will have to learn how to spell Poneglyph for good, won’t I
- Aww, Saul came into town to get Robin! I think it will be counterproductive but it’s still awesome and touching, ok
- Huh, Spandyne DID contact “Gorousei”! (different scans again but it obviously means the government top dogs so I don’t care) But it won’t help doctor Clover, he’s not so eloquent as Tom The Shipwright. Sorry man, government has you as “dead” in their books already and they don’t want to make any corrections to change that. Imagine the paperwork, doctor Clover, the paperwork
- Yep
- Ok, doctor Clover has things to say, time to sit and listen
- “No matter what lies in the past, humans create history, and thus they must accept everything. If we come to know things without feeling fear, we may be able to create some form of countermeasure!”
“That’s mere idealism”
“Is that so? I think you’re saying you can’t because it’s not convenient for you to accept this!”
“…”
Haha, government just got served, I love that song
- Nowadays, the truth we wish to know most is more the Poneglyphs reason for existence as opposed to their contents.” You know what, that is a good question.  How and why are they everywhere?
- Apparently the message people in the past wanted to sent future generation was too important to put to destroyable paper. I dig that
- Ohohohoho!
- “People that left behind the stones had an enemy” ok “Their enemy would continue to live on in the history” eh. But they WERE destroyed so sure, why not “Right after 100 Years of Blank Pages… The World Government was born” I see what you’re doing here. And wow, 800 years, was there any empire that actually lasted that long
- “The 100 Blank Pages were erased by the World Government’s hands as inconvenient history!!!” HA, tell them doctor
- Single country with a great civilization has been erased from existence long, long ago. I don’t see why anyone would cover destroying the single country for 800 years. After some time people just stop caring, you know? They could stop hiding the fact after, like,  300 years, I think. History becomes history for a reason
- Yeah, I don’t think Spandyne and Gorousei care about that impromptu history lesson. What did they expect, they let a scholar start talking. Of course he started a lecture
- At least they call that a hypothesis. Sure, it could hold in court but they don’t exactly have a proof. Unless you count being evaporated by government for looking for proof a proof (I am)
- What’s so cool about that mysterious country that revealing it’s existence to the world would change everything?
- “The name of the country was…” ?
- OH FUCK
- THEY SHOT HIM!!!
- “Ohara knows too much!!” And will know even more, you bastards!!!!!
- Oh poor Robin
- CHAOS HAS STARTED
- Spandyne looks for golden den den mushi!!! GET THE FUCK AWAY ROBIN PLEASE
- “It’s Buster Call time!” don’t steal my lines, Spandyne
- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
- THE LIBRARY IS ON FIRE
- “Shouldn’t it be okay if it’s just our heads that roll!?” …metal
- They’re taking Olvia away, they want her alive
- …shit… Robin and Olvia… shit…
- Nonononono, don’t give me flashbacks, damn you
- “Are you my mommy!?”
  “no”
- Fuck fuck fuck fuuuuuck
- whyyyyyyy
- everyone is crying and I will too, damn it
- oh god, Robin
- “I’m Robin! Even though I am bigger… You really don’t remember me? I always waited for you to come back! Are you really not my mother? Someday… I’d just like to go for a walk with you, holding your hand!”
- SHIIIIT, she’s telling them she can read Poneglyphs
- “I don’t… want to be alone anymore!!!”
… …. … ….
*sobbing it the distance*

Same anon here, thank you!!! Do you have any specific worlbuilding in your story? Are you only playing with the disney princesses or do you have other disney characters mixed up? And I loved how you made this HUUUUGE plot twist with Cinderella! Are you doing the same with the next princesses? And about the side stories!! Are there more to come? I'm sorry if I'm being annoying, but I'm so loving all you do!!
My, these are important questions xD This is way too long to answer normally, so I'm writing all you want to know under the cut! I'm sorry, It is really long. I apologize in advance :')
If you have some spare time and are curious about this stuff of my legacy story, check this out. It my explain some things, hehe.
1. WORLDBUILDING
There is a "complex and connected" universe in this, yes, but I do not limit a story to the same sim world. I imagine certain game worlds as specific areas with their own social problems, forms of government and characteristic population. Still, I jump from world to world using specific lots or scenery places thay might complement the current chapters or, if I happen to need it, I'll rebuild the whole world again for upcoming generations if I'm already done with the previous ones.
For example:
In Snow White (the H.E.A. founder) the story developed in Windenburg and Windenburg only. Not even the whole world was used for the story, only three lots (The White Manor, Eis' cottage and the flower shop).
Cinderella and The Princess and The Frog develop in Willow Creek, but it's not the same Willow Creek. The only permanent lots are the royal palace and a couple of residential lots (the Tremaine and Bonfamille manors), but I redesigned the whole world for each arc. Ella's story took place in a more high-class victorian part of the kingdom, and Tiana's will be in a New Orlean-ish, humble zone with some vip spots. The townies are different and the social situation changes as well. I'll be also using specific locations from Windenburg, implying those scenes are still having place in some other unknown part of Willow Creek.
In some upcoming generations, I'm merging worlds into a whole area. In Rapunzel and The Beauty and The Beast, Glimmerbrook, Granite Falls and Henford-On-Bagley, as well as specific Windenburg areas, share the same territory.
This is a bit confusing, but it works for me :'D So far, this is how I've organized the story world in the save (mild spoilers):
Willow Creek + Magnolia Promenade: Kingdom ruled by a strong monarchy. Population: Humans and Hybrids** Connections with: Britechester, Newcrest.
Oasis Springs + Strangerville: Emirate and local mayoralties. Population: Humans, spellcasters, undercover aliens. No near connections.
Brindleton Bay: Mayoralty. Population: Humans and Hybrids. Connections with: Henford-On-Bagley, San Myshuno (not that close, but reachable).
Mt. Komorebi: Parlamentarism. Isolated area of the mountains. Population: Humans. Connections with: Granite Falls (veeeery lightly).
San Myshuno + Del Sol Valley: Presidency and Mayoralty. Population: Humans and undercover occults (Gods**, Spellcasters, Hybrids). Connections: Newcrest.
Windenburg: Parlamentarism. Population: Humans, Hybrids, Vampires. Connections with: Henford-On-Bagley, Glimmerbrook, Granite Falls.
Sulani: Principality and local chiefdoms. Population: Humans, Mermaids, Gods. No near connections.
Forgotten Hollow: Mayoralty. Population: Vampires and Spellcasters. No near connections.
Selvadorada: Republic. Population: Humans, Hybrids and Spellcasters. No near connections.
Evergreen Harbor: Mayoralty. Population: Humans, undercover aliens, cyborgs. Connections with: San Myshuno. If there is ever a future-like pack, it will be related to this area.
Britechester: Grand Duchy. Population: Humans. Connections with: Willow Creek, Windenburg.
2. CHARACTERS
I will mainly play with the "princesses", yes! I'm following these Disney Legacy Challenge rules as a main guideline, so the heirs are related to that. Even so, they won't always have the same looks or gender like the cartoon ones, nor the spouses. Since I'm a nerd, I try to surround the heirs with familiar characters from their stories, but they might be ooc or don't have the same role as they do in the movies. I just want to create the vibes, but give them my own twist!
I thought it would be fun to create a Disney movie themed save for this challenge, and I'm stil adding recreations of a lot of characters thay may fit in the world. Since I really enjoy rotational gameplay, I thought it would be fun to create mini challenges for certain households and play them aside from the main legacy to have a little change and relax. Buuuuuuuuut every single time I play this game a story pops up in my head, and yes, so far there is one side story with some of the minor characters. I'm afraid my save has turned into a graphic feverdream disney fanfiction, but here we are :'D It is important to say I also play with the EA premade townies, so this is a weeeeirddd mashup :')
Since I have the characters roaming around freely, they also interact with the main legacy and, in some cases, they even gain some importance. In Cinderella's case, I never planned Mr. La Bouff to become Ella's friend. My original plan was to have Tia and Lottie meet at university. Also! I created two fake occults: the Hybrids (think of were!Sims. Like Werecats, Werefishes, Werewolves, Werebirds... you get the idea... it'll be properly explained in the future. No, they don't turn into animals.) and the Gods (squish vampires, mermaids and spellcasters together. Now make them OP and immortal).
So far, I've included characters from:
The Aristocats, Finding Nemo, Peter Pan, 101 Dalmatians, Tarzan, Robin Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Coco, Pinocchio, Big Hero 6, Lilo & Stitch, Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Jungle Book, Toy Story, Cars, The Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis.
I had the intention of presenting them all and giving them out for download. I've been slowly makeovering them, so I hope I can manage to do so in the near future.
3. STORYTELLING
The plot twist was kind of a happy accident xD It wasn't planed at all! It's just I find it not-that-exciting to retell the same old story again and again. Cinderella is poor and mistreated, but then marries the prince and she's happy. We all know that, right? I don't intend to follow the same path... I need chaos to keep me entertained in my own game xD that's why I went like "welll.... what IF the prince is a bit of an ass?" I didn't see the whole load of drama that would come.
In the upcoming chapters, things are being similar. I don't say everything is going to be bittersweet, but I'll take elements from the main story and shape them differently. I'm taking a lot of creative liberties here!
4. SIDE STORIES
Im so glad you like them!! I get attached to my characters as soon as I start playing with them and can't help myself from giving them a story, even a little one. It's like... they're in my save for a reason, right? Not only as townie fillers, even if that was the main purpose in the beginning. It's safe to say there is one WIP side story with the Tremaine descendants involving some of the characters I mentioned before. I have another one in mind, but since it is not related with the main legacy at all I'm still not sure how to include it... but I'm working on it.
You can bet I'll keep telling these silly little stories because I really can't help it, hehe.
Thank you so much for asking! I'm really sorry for writing a lot, I hope this is what you were looking for!! And I'm so glad to have you as a reader ^^

Disney Remakes: they’re not all bad.
I submit that some of the disney live action remakes are, regrettably, a bit off. But not all of them. A lot of them are really good. Here’s why.
-Lion King did really put me off with the lack of expressions. I’m not sure if I have much to say about it, lol I’ll have to see it and let you know. Honestly though I don’t think I can because I love the original Lion King so flipping much, it’s a masterful movie and part of its mastery is the beautiful hand drawn animation and its expressive characters. I can’t think I can watch a bunch of real lions just talking. Who knows? I’ll keep you posted.
-Alice in Wonderland, one of the first of them, had some really good feminist moments. I love the Hatter and Alice’s love for each other, I guess he’s like the only human in Wonderland so it makes sense. But I get some weird ideas because the denizens of Wonderland are supposed to mirror the characters in Alice’s real life, and since the only redhead in Alice’s life is Hamish, that weirdo who asks her to marry him and he’s a total jerk.... and the Hatter is a redhead too.... idk it’s weird. Also it’s weird if he represents her dad because number one he’s dead and number two it’s incest, but the Hatter does say a few things that her dad said at the beginning....hmmm... fishy. However I feel like I can rest assured because this might just be the case of “Johnny Depp came to shoot today in a homemade cosplay and nobody can stop him because he’s just a mad genius”, in which case why do they keep letting him do that??? I don’t mind the hatter’s design, but can you imagine Just Plain Old Johnny Depp In All His Sexy Glory as a mad hatter? It would have been fine. They had to give him a gap between his teeth, CGI enlarged eyes, crazy red hair, white and pink makeup... oh well, whatever, it’s fine. I like how Underland looks a bit more like Narnia than like a Tim Burton land; I honestly don’t know if they gave him complete creative control when it came to the CGI set design. It might’ve been cool to see that.
-Cinderella was wonderful, I thought. I really love how Cinderella and the Prince interacted a lot more, falling in love over a long period of time. In fact, I feel like it was a spiritual remake of Ella Enchanted(which, in my opinion, Disney really botched up because the book was just so amazing), so they did really good in my book. My brother, however, hates that at the end she just twirls in her tower and doesn’t do anything to save herself, when in the original she tried to escape. He thinks it’s really unfeminist and he doesn’t want his daughter to act like that. I agree on that mark, but I’ll let everyone watch it. Also they threw a little bit of the Beauty and the Beast original fairy tale in there when her dad, a merchant, asks what she wants and Cinderella asks for the branch that brushes his arm or whatever; similar to a single rose, when her sisters ask for riches. I also liked the handling of Lady Tremaine; it really humanized her and I felt for her. The stepsisters were silly as per the usual. The King went from a bumbling psychopath(the cartoon) to a very melancholy, concerned father, and I cried at his death scene. Bravo, Kenneth Branagh, bravo.
-I really like all of Beauty and the Beast, although I do think that they made Lumiere & friends a little bit too important in this movie. I needed more moments between Belle and the Beast that were in the animation! Evermore was breathtaking though, let’s be honest. Although let’s be honest, I REALLY REALLY wanted to see a shirtless Dan Stevens emerge from a wall of rose petals because that sounds absolutely magical and super HOT. I’m so mad they had to redo it. Also I like the subtle crush Lefou has on Gaston; I’ve always wondered if he liked him. I do wish that Josh Gad had toned it down with his fabulousness though, because although I love fabulousness I wonder if it was slightly offensive. I really liked Gaston, and I feel like he could have gone a little bigger and with more bravado, could have been from slightly comedic to VERY comedic, but I think that’s alright. He did a great job. And as for everyone complaining about the villagers being really nasty and openly evil towards Belle, I actually liked it. It’s clear in the cartoon that the villagers whisper behind Belle’s back, but I feel like she just has a small smidgeon of an idea that they think she’s weird. In this, they freaking ATTACK her. They’re like ‘We can’t have smart bicc’s in our town! Get out me town!” It is a bit on the nose sometimes but I think it works because it helps Beast and her relate to feeling like outsiders. I do think the Beast knowing how to read kind of gave them something in common as well, but I disliked how he scoffed at her favorite book, Romeo and Juliet. I wish he had been more understanding like, “There’s this poor girl whose library is like, seven books, and amongst those seven books, one of which is probably the freaking bible because they belong to a pastor, her favorite is basically a romance. She’s not well read; I’m going to show her the classics.” Which back then was probably, like, idk, Voltaire? Too soon? Eh I’m not sure when it takes place. I do wish he’d gifted the library to her though, that was a nice gift for her in the previous movie. (Here’s the thing; the Beauty and the Beast cartoon is basically a perfect movie and I don’t think anything can live up to it, but this one was good too. It wasn’t better, but nothing can be better than that movie. Except maybe the Princess Bride or the first Pirates of the Caribbean or the stage production of Phantom of the Opera. No, not even then.)
-Dumbo? I haven’t seen it yet, I’ll have to and update this.
-Okay so Aladdin is really good. I entered the film with the meme cringe in my mind, totally expecting it to look weird and bad, but honestly Will Smith was such a great actor! And I actually freaking cried so many times because number one: the genie was aladdin’s father figure that he never had! He taught him how to date! Number two: the genie got his true love as well, and you see her and their kids at the beginning of the movie! SPOILERS btw. Sorry. Also Number three: they picked Will Smith to play the genie because he’s HITCH of course! The matchmaker extraordinaire! (I just love Will Smith. I wish he would run for president; it wouldn’t be the first time we had an actor in the white house. Just kidding, I don’t want to burden him that way, and there are really smart candidates this year to choose from. I just am urging everyone to go vote, and no more harambe crap!!!!) Also Jasmine had a nice new empowering role in this movie. I just sort of wish Jafar had been more menacing and villainous. But his actor was fine, just a bit soft-spoken.
-Lady and the Tramp- I started it on Disney+, I need to finish it. I’m halfway there.
-Christopher Robin is a gift; it’s both simple and complex. It has a lot of nice metaphors and I could feel my heart hurting for much of the film. Seriously good aesthetics as well, Director of Photography!!!
-The Jungle Book is a really good remake! So much excitement, and I could totally see Bill Murray in Baloo. (I think it’s equal in terms of story to the movie Mowgli, although Mowgli had that nasty little surprise at the end, I’m still hurt about it.)(also in comparing, the CGI is similarly good, but Mowgli wanted to do a really ambitious face capture thingy and I’m not sure if it worked,(uncanny) but it was interesting! It was also a lot darker. I think they’re both good.) Ben Kingsley was superb, of course, as Bagheera, as always, and he has a really fatherly voice(I thought Christian Bale did well as Bagheera as well, but he was more of an action figure in that movie, less of a father/teacher figure). And John Favreau, as always, went the extra mile to bring the action, the writing, and the moral through, and made it super good for children at the same time!(the same cannot be said about Mowgli, as there were some violence/action things that go beyond ‘peril’, hence it’s PG-13 rating) My one discrepancy was the voice of Kaa. Scarlet did fine, but I always thought of Kaa as a boy. I think they could have found a slithery voice actor for Kaa. Benedict Cumberbatch did really well as Smaug, hissing and growling, and he could have done well. I also think that Tom Hiddleston could have done a great job; he has a really gentle and pliant voice that can turn menacing in the matter of seconds, and if it’s about the snake being sexy as Scarlet Johanssen(haha what??), I think that Hiddles can bring it.(I’m not quite sure what I’m talking about at this point so I’ll shut up now.) I do feel like Mowgli started shooting way before The Jungle Book was even a glimmer in John Favreau’s eye, and that kind of makes me want to root for Mowgli because I’m sure that different movie houses have people working in both, probably swapping stories with their friends, and I’m sure it wasn’t an exact copy, but I can totally see Bill Murray in Baloo’s face and that can’t be by accident. Just saying. Not calling Disney out or anything, but I’m sure they can take it, they have like a trillion dollars. Anyway. Still a good one.
-Haven’t seen Pete’s Dragon.
-101 Dalmations, I know this shouldn’t count but it just does. I loved watching this as a child. I’m so happy they didn’t make the dogs talk? Haha it usually works when they do, but it gave a lot of room for Doctor House and Mister Weasley to interact. Also Glenn Close is great. I think this movie’s a good example of a career woman who decides to get domesticated and her sista is like, “Girl, you can’t do this! We have to be strong women! You have to come back to work!” But Anita is all, “Girl, respect my decisions! Feminism isn’t forcing your girl to be exactly like you, it’s giving me the respect to make my own decisions. If I want to have a baby with my husband, that’s fine. I want to be a mom!” I feel like the “new” 101 dalmatians remake they’re gonna make, will have a different opinion. Similar to wicked and maleficent, it’s going to humanize Cruella, but I just hope that they’re nice to Anita. She’s such a smol soft bird and if she wants 2 billion dogs and one baby, that’s fine... ugh, that’s gotta be like so much dog poop in her house... anita what are you doing...
-Maleficent. Obviously I love it. I love how those arguing fairies are super incompetent at raising Aurora because they’re too busy fighting, so Maleficent has to swoop in and rescue the princess. I like how Maleficent is a fae and it’s so sad how there’s like this rape metaphor when Stefan cuts off her wings, and that would be reason to curse his baby, especially because they were in love and he betrayed her! Stole her wings! Married someone else! T^T Maleficent, you poor misunderstood fairy! I love her motherly relationship with Aurora. I love that she’s the one who kisses her forehead to wake her up because Philip met her just that day. However, I don’t like how they just shove Philip out of the way, because Sleeping Beauty is honestly so romantic, and I love how they dance together and everything. I also like the raven boi. I ship him and Maleficent so hard and I hope he doesn’t die in the sequel, I haven’t seen it yet.
-So technically the Parent Trap is a remake. It’s awesome. It gave my childhood so much romance and prank ideas. It’s much better than its predecessor, especially because the mom in the old one is, like, urged to look prettier by her butler(wtf?!?! YOu’re FIrEd?!?). I’m so glad we’ve come so far.
Anyway, those are my thoughts. Are the remakes better? In some cases they are. I think Cinderella is better than its predecessor. I think the original Alice is very good, as a nonsense movie, and I feel like the remake is equally good, but they’re different movies with different motives and plots. The original Beauty and the Beast is my favorite and it’s perfect, so the new one isn’t better, but it is really great and I love it, too. Anyway, that’s all.

Part 3 Episode 7
Sabrina crying over Zelda’s body but Mambo Marie is here to save the day! Apparently Zelda is so near death she’s stuck in limbo until she comes back when she has had strength
A banshee has turned up yelling her death yell, meaning a member of the Spellman family is going to die soon apparently
Why is Lucifer always walking around naked. Would it kill you to put some pants on dude? And Lilith is tense as fuck while waiting in the chair
‘you’d kill me for the part I played in overthrowing you, yes, except a lot has changed since your little nap in the tub’ I like Lilith’s way of summing up things.
She gave Blackwood the mark of Cain which means no one can hurt him, not even Satan (I feel this will backfire, making him invincible essentially, but...Lilith always puts self-preservation first)
‘and in exchange he gave me your seed’ you could have said that differently lilith. I don’t know how but...not like that.
‘the satanic miracle of miracles. I am with child’
Lucifer is not happy about this and immediately goes to, presumably, choke her to death, and she looks scared, as she often does with him and understandably so, but she reminds him she’s carrying HIS child. He argues he already has an heir (never heard of a spare, Lucifer?)
‘you wouldn’t kill your own SON’ she is playing so much to the fact she KNOWS he prizes boys above girls. And she’s right on the money because the moment she says son he gets all soft and hopeful. Bloody men.
he says it’s just a stay of execution and he plans to kill her after but come on, witches carry children for 13 months, that’s over a year for Lilith to make plans. Wait, is Michelle going to be baby-bumped up for Part 4????
‘perhaps in the mean time you can sort out the mess your daughter’s made in hell’ because let’s be honest...she has. I mean good intentions literally pave the road to hell and Sabrina walks that path often
‘if only for our child’s sake’ yep keep pulling that string, Lilith, loving it. They’re so close now that in any other couple it would look intimate and close, but with Lucifer it just looks menacing, like get out of her face and stop pinning her against the wall
But Lucifer has to accept she’s won this hand and tells her to go summon the court. Lilith has yet again survived, as she says she always does. She is a survivor above all else and I just admire the fuck out of that and I like that despite any direction the season has taken, they have stayed true to that part of Lilith’s character. Mary however they’ve just sent to Christian Nut Job Town
The Pagans have Blackwood and he’s smug AF because he has the Mark of Cain. He wants to take down the Church of Night so he wants to partner up with the Pagans. Bloody Faustus. He wants his kids back I think, which fair does, but you planned to marry them together. You’re not a Targaryen
Theo and Robin having some cherry popping. Look away! Private moment!
And Lucifer is back and Lilith is at his side and if I was Lilith I would be sticking my finger up at the aristocracy because who has been in a place of power constantly no matter who rules hell? Why Lilith of course. Suck it, fellas! And one of the Kings challenges him and he snaps his neck, but this doesn’t stop Caliban still coming forward.
Lilith is perfection with her Caliban specific eyeroll with the added comment of ‘oh this should be good’. She looks so irritated in the background. But she’s safe now because of her pregnancy so she’s standing strong again which I like to see. I mean I ABHOR she’s back with her abuser, but I like that she’s managed to avoid being killed by him and I presume this isn’t the way the balance will stay for long.
‘She’ll turn  up. She usually does’ Lilith again summing up Sabrina nicely
Ooh we’re seeing Zelda’s limbo dreams- And Hilda is in limbo too. AND EDWARD IS THERE TO MEET THEM
Also witch limbo much nicer than mortal limbo
Sabrina has brought cheerleaders to the academy to chant.  HEY MICKY??? WE’RE SINGING HEY MICKEY???? BRING IT ON FLASHBACKS. And I do adore that film so am I singing along? Yes. Yes I am. But it seems to be working with the cheerleaders.
Oh fuck Blackwood turned up
This is such a Practical Magic vibe with non-witches joining alongside the coven, and the cheerleaders at back at high school and sabrina has taken the coven to hell. Like you do. At least she didn’t mix it up
Agatha has turned magic psycho, Dorcas is dead, and Blackwood is using all this to his advantage
OMG LUCIFER AND LILITH WALKING IN TOGETHER IS QUITE THE IMAGE I WON’T LIE. They look like Sabrina’s disappointed parents. Actually they have the energy of the King and Queen from the Cinderella with Bernadette Peters. So Lilith is Whoopi Goldbery in this scenario
Sabrina immediately jumps to conclusions ‘the dream team back together again’
‘don’t mistake survival and co-dependency for love. We are very much NOT together’ Lilith could not put more emphasis on that ‘not’ if she tried
OMFG LILITH SAID TO SABRINA ‘take your place as Queen of Hell. Keeping throne warm for your’ dramatic touch to belly ‘little brother’. Lucifer looks really happy about this.
You know if Lilith keeps Sabrina on side and helps her with stuff, Sabrina as Queen, and then being able to share the throne with a brother so she can do mortal stuff might be the key to Lilith keeping herself alive and away from the Dark Lord’s wrath. His abuse is another matter
Edward knew that Lucifer was Sabrina’s Father and apparently Edward is like Zelda’s spirit guide.
FLASHBACKS TO YOUNG ZELDA AND YOUNG FAUSTUS AT THE ACADEMY.
The Dark Lord is making foolish decisions and Lilith is speaking to him like she speaks to Sabrina when she’s about to make a hasty bad decision. OMG she’s got to deal with two of them. Let’s pray Lilith’s child takes after Lilith. Also I’d love for it to turn out to be a girl, just because women are ruling this throne. And a girl would play on the whole ‘spellman twins’ thing
When Lucifer telepathically tells Sabrina to go to the place where Judas, Cassius and Brutus are, all I can see in my head is Michelle Fairley as Cassius because I went to see her playing that role twice
Mary coming back to class stressed as fuck, because obviously she killed someone and she’s learned about witches and shit. But I feel her shooting Zelda was while the devil was in her ear the way it was with the witches earlier in the season.
The pagans need a virgin and poor Harvey still is so he’s being hunted down in a library. Bad day. Ah Robin saved them.
And now we’re seeing the flash back when baby Sabrina suddenly appeared in the Spellman home after Edward and Diana died
Sabrina doing a nice bit of graverobbing but she’s getting all thrally with the vampire. But apparently she doesn’t taste good, her blood burns him? Because she’s celestial. And Sabrina adds also there was no consent so she smashes him in the face
I suspected Dorcas would be killed off since she was the lead in the other netflix show, but the tragedy of Agatha doing and Prudence having to kill Agatha fucking hurts man. She’s lost her fucking SISTERS
AND NOW BLACKWOOD HAS STABBED PRUDENCE IN THE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! PRUDENCE IS DYING IN AMBROSE’S ARMS NOOOOOOOOOOO
But then we’re getting a glimpse of the future where zelda is very very very old and dying and sabrina calls her her Mother and zelda is realising maiden mother crone is so important to defeating the pagans and saving the coven
Zelda has woke up to shit fest and Blackwood stood over her with a bloody knife
HE STABBED ZELDA IN THE HEART. PEOPLE STOP KILLING ZELDA.
Caliban trapping Sabrina and planning to kill her, and Sabrina says ‘My Father and Lilith’ erm did you just use Lilith in the same sentence as your Dad as if she’s your stepmother? Like......I love that
Virgin Harvey is being sacrificed in the green man thing much like the Wicker Man. The vines are taking him and absorbing him like we saw happening to Mary in the trailer? But it hasn’t happened to Mary....yet

NARRATOR:  Rags to riches, told by folklore. The story you know will be no more. They told you of mistreatment, endless chores, unsavory stepfamily and all. So, we'll skip to the part where they're all at the Ball.
"Hey boss, you having a good time?" Donnie shouted over the live bands' music.
I shook my head, staring right at him as he said it to someone else's face. It was a masquerade party, all the guests wearing colorful Venetian masks made it hard to distinguish who was who in the dim lighting. Still, I'd told him at least a dozen times that I'd be in a green mask. The man he spoke to wore one in Gold.
"I'm over here you fat-head," I lifted my mask showing my face.
He marched over to me happily, "Hey boss, you having a-"
"No, Donnie, and neither should you, you're supposed to be watching the door."
"Yeah boss I was, but I had to hit the john, then figured I might as well grab some punch and a snack before I go."
"I hate to bust your chops buddy but we're here to do a job, not to enjoy the soiree."
"What job? I'll tell ya, anyone who tries to break into a Reyes party would be clinically insane. We might as well enjoy it while we're here. I doubt we'll be invited again!"
I gave him a glare, to show him I wasn't joking around. Which made him freeze up like a scared goat before turning to head back to the door.
"He's right you know," I heard a voice near my ear, "My father is just paranoid. You should enjoy yourself, besides, your looming presence is making my guests uncomfortable." He said to me while smiling at giggling girls eyeing him.
Casper Reyes, the guest of honor at this party. All of high society, came out in their best to celebrate his 21st birthday. The Reyes family were royalty around these parts. On top of being rich, Casper was the tall, dark and handsome type. Everyone had their daughters dolled up, hoping they'd catch his eye and become in-laws of the family in the near future.
His father invited me and a few of my boys to run a security -as if we had nothing better to do. As I said, the Reyes family were like royalty and Elil Reyes was the king. What he says goes and the police force was no exception- especially since Sergeant Duke was his childhood friend.
"Good, maybe it'll keep them in line," I told him, scanning the room.
"This is a party, not a sting detective, try to blend in. A highly decorated officer like you could catch a criminal in your sleep." He patted my shoulder before sliding his red and gold mask back over his eyes and going to greet more guests.
The compliment cut me like a double-edged knife. I had a career to be proud of, the youngest person on the force to make detective, then captain. I connected clues like puzzle pieces, and I didn't need all of them to see the full picture. Never had a perp I couldn't catch, nor one I couldn't get to confess. That was my legacy - until a year ago when the jewel thief showed up.
A thief in the night, bold enough to climb over gates, into mansions, and take thousands of dollars’ worth of jewels with them. Smart enough to take one valuable piece at a time instead of everything. Whoever this guy was, he was no robin hood. It seemed no one was benefiting from it, the jewels didn't show up in pawnshops, or on the street and the poor kept on getting poorer. There wasn't a single trace of the thief or the jewels left behind.
We didn't have a time frame of when the robberies started. It wasn't until some rich, old, broad discovered that she was missing a necklace that anyone knew there was a problem. A dozen people came out of the woodwork after it hit the papers, saying they were missing this or that.
They hadn't realized there was a stranger in their homes. They hadn't even realized when their prized possessions were taken. Yet, they expected me to solve the case at the drop of a hat.
I looked around at all of them, dancing, laughing, dripping in jewels. Silently judging each other over meaningless things, while my career was slowly going down the drain. My necktie suddenly felt tight, I needed some fresh air or maybe some smoke in my lungs. I thought I'd relieve Donnie of his door duties, after all, let him enjoy the party instead.
I narrowly made to the doorway when I saw a bundle of blue fabric rush passed it. I jogged over, looking down the hall in the direction it went. A Blonde dame in a blue dress was running as fast as she could in her high heeled shoes.
"Hey," I called after her, "Hey!" She kept running.
My natural curiosity kicked into gear. I began to follow her, trying to keep up with the twists and turns but, eventually, I lost her. I searched room after room until I spotted her in the garden, sitting on the ground by a fountain.
"You're gonna ruin your dress, sitting like that."
She turned to me; a white mask covered her face but her tropical sea-blue eyes were unmissable. Tears dropped out of them, making the whites turn red.
"Hey now, what's a beautiful girl like you have to cry about?"
I reached out to her, offering my hand.
"What's it to you," she sniffled, letting me assist her.
"Wondering if I could help, that's all."
"Can you bring someone back from the dead?" she scoffed.
"Sugar, I can't even keep a goldfish alive."
She tried not to, but she smiled brightly. Though I could see another tear rolling down her face as she did. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful smile, pearly whites that weren't too big or too small for her mouth, plush pink lips that surrounded them and one adorable dimple on her left cheek. Mortality must be offensive to whoever is lucky enough to be in her life. I was sure the ghost of whoever she was trying to bring back was lurking somewhere nearby, kicking himself for making her cry and being powerless to stop it. Hell, if I were him, I'd let Dr. Frankenstein himself reanimate my corpse just to be with her.
"That's a bad joke, mister, something my, my-" her smile faded, and tears filled up between her eyelids again.
"Hey, hey doll, it's alright. People die, it's a natural part of life. I'm sure whoever is looking down you right now wouldn't want you to be sad."
"I know, I'm not a fool I just... I'm not usually like this- I'm the strong one, you know."
"We can't be strong forever, we're only human after all." She nodded, agreeing with me but didn't say another word.
"So, who was it, that you lost?"
"My father... he was my best friend."
"That's a tough one, I lost my old man too, right after I turned 12."
"Really?" her eyes widened, "What did you do? How'd you move on I mean."
"The only thing I could do, keep living. Even when it was hard and bleak I just kept on going."
She nodded again, sniffling away the last of her tears. It was quiet for a while, so quiet that the music from inside the Reyes estate was clearly audible. It gave me an Idea; I outstretched my hand to her once more.
"Darling, would you like to dance?"
"Who do you think you are, some kind of prince?" She cackled.
"As a matter of fact, I am."
She exhaled with contempt, a matching look in her eyes. "It's time for me to take a powder, your highness." She bowed facetiously then began to walk around me, leaving the garden.
"One dance," I called to her, "then you'll never have to talk to me again." She stopped in her tracks. "It'd be a shame for that pretty dress to go to waste. I doubt you came here just to cry in it."
She stood with her back to me for a moment before turning around, "One dance... and no funny business, I mean it."
We kept quiet as we swayed back and forth, trying to keep to the rhythm of the faint music. I could feel her muscles relax in my arms and her head rest on my shoulder. If I had to guess, I would say the last person she had ever danced with was her father. I was comforted by the fact that I could soothe her for this moment. It's been some time since I felt this feeling.
It was part of the reason I had gotten into law enforcement. Solving cases, giving people back their piece of mind. I lost myself somewhere along the way, caring more about my conviction rate than that one simple feeling. But the more this small dame with the tough exterior, melted into me, undoubtedly thinking of her dead father, the more it came back.
I smiled to myself before taking her hand and twirling her around making the skirt of her long dress swirl around her. I ended the spin with a dip. Her eyes went round -surprise on her face and a small smirk on her lips.
"Maybe you are a prince after all."
I chuckled and pulled her back up, looking directly into her sparkling eyes.
"What's your n-"
I was cut off by the sound of a long car horn, coming from somewhere within the gates. I was going to ask again when I saw her squeeze her eyes shut in despair.
"That's my ride." She announced, smiling at me a second more before the horn sounded again, making her lift her dress to run off.
"Wait but what's your-"
"Goodnight your highness!" she continued to run.
"Oh what the hell," I said aloud, giving myself permission to go after her.
I followed her to the front door hoping that she'd stop, turn around and at least tell me her name before leaving. Donnie hopped up after seeing me frantically burst through the doors. He was calling my name, but I paid no attention. The back of her dress dragged on the ground as she went down the stairs.
I watched her run towards the red convertible roadster parked at the bottom, a girl with orangey-red hair at the wheel. She hopped in and the car began to pull off. I waited for her to look back, going down the stairs slowly. Finally, I saw her blonde mane billow in the wind as she turned her head.
I smiled to myself, looking down to hide it, feeling a light hit my eyes as I did. I looked for the glimmer again, finding the culprit. There, on the 12th step, was a crystal high heeled shoe. I picked it up, looking in the distance towards the direction of the red roadster.
"Bill! Bill!" Donnie shook my shoulder. "Is everything alright?"
"Yeah Donnie, everything's alright."
"Thank god, you scared me half to death. Who was the good-looking dame? Is that... a shoe?"
"It's a shoe indeed Don," I sighed, “maybe the most important one I'll ever have."
Narrator: And so, that orange-haired girl drove off into the night. Leaving Detective Bill knowing he would have a sleepless night. He stood on the steps holding the tiny crystal shoe, wondering who was that girl with eyes so blue.

I found some questions here I really liked and wanted to answer.
https://questionnightammo.tumblr.com/post/148670344154/disney-and-some-pixar-movie-asks
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves: Have you ever stayed in a strangers house before? If yes, why? Yes, but mostly because I was with my mother at the time. I’ve gone to strangers houses for organization events (meetings, training, etc), and of course when I travel I use AirBnB and spend the night in a stranger’s house. 8P They’re rarely there when I do so, thankfully.
Pinocchio: What’s the biggest lie you’ve told that no one knows about?  ....ahahaaaahahaha;;; Do lies by omission count? (If you really want to know, send me an ask and I’ll answer. It’s... well. It’s Intensely Personal and I only want to answer this one in private. Whether it’s the RWT thing or the Nexus thing or the “blackwinged blog” thing........ I keep a lot of my secrets close, okay.)
Dumbo: Have you ever been to a circus or fair?  Does Cirque du Soleil count? And of course, when I was 17 I volunteered as part of the cast at Great Lakes Medieval Faire. (My mother was the queen on that cast for a long, long time.) Also, I love little local fairs. Especially craft fairs, but anything with pretty trinkets and food I can eat is good!
Cinderella: Do you have any family members who you really don’t get along with? Fittingly enough for this question: My stepmother. (Though we’re better at Tolerating Each Other now. Whenever there’s the slightest disagreement, she doesn’t know how to Communicate Effectively and Actually DISCUSS things. Or Consider My Perspective. She’s... well, let’s just say she’s the reason I know what an abusive parent looks like.) And occasionally my father, but again: that’s mostly when there’s a Disagreement.
Peter Pan: If you stopped aging right now, what could you do for the rest of your life? Would you want to stop aging? Of course I’d want to stop aging! I’m already getting knee and ankle issues, the older I get the worse my health gets, and while a lot of my problems could be solved by More Rest, that’s not exactly an option yet (yet!), and not aging would sure make it a lot easier to cope with. :S What I want to do for “the rest of my life” is o/rg stuff. Travel, helping others, accumulating REAL wealth, visiting doctors I can pay to actually Consider Things and not just do the same test over and over and tell me nothing’s wrong.... lP
Sleeping Beauty: What’s the last dream you remember having? Last night. Funny story actually, I dreamt that I went to my window by the bed and checked to make sure it was closed (Because It’s Cold), and it was a tiny bit still open. So shortly after waking up and realizing closing it was only a dream, I checked it, and lo and behold: it was a TEENY bit open still. (I closed it of course. But hey, dream-precognition. It happens.)
One Hundred and One Dalmatians: How many pets do you have, what are they, and what are their names? Oh my stars, okay. This has changed lately, but here are MY pets: ~ 2 chinchillas! Dusty (an ebony touch-of-velvet chinchilla) and Dusty (a white mosaic). ~ 4 diamond doves: Blue [a wild-type named after Blue Diamond-- when the diamond authority was still a theory based on the icon, mind you!], who is the father of Silver and Ametrine (their mother was White, also named after hte Diamond, ), ~ 2 zebra finches (smol boy named Danny, after Danny Chase because he’s tiny and also a chatterbox, and a new boy I’ve decided to name Azriel, after the Teen Titans Minor Character and also the Asriel in Undertale because when he peeps, his sounds sound like they belong in that game.)
The family also has 3 cats (Belle, my tiny precious bean that greets me every time I come home like a dog would, Ninja who is a bit of an alpha jerk but mostly just wants all your attention for herself, and Cinder, who I call Cinnamon because he has a lot of energy and spice to his personality).
Robin Hood: Do you believe in the idea of taking from the rich and giving to the poor? Why or why not? HELL YEAH. The obscenely rich, definitely! Because they don’t need it. Plain and simple. Nobody on Earth, no matter how many family members they give to or what they invest in or what they buy or do or donate, could EVER even USE goddamn one billion dollars. It should be MANDATORY that when you’re that rich, your taxes go through the roof so you can fund public services and charities and such. (Rich people who USE and EARNED their wealth: yeah I’d take from them too. Most rich people haven’t, but the wealthy people I associate with actually DID do work on a daily basis, to help others, and created all sorts of charities and funds and donate to causes close to their hearts left and right. Not to mention, teaching people like me how to do what they did....)
Anyways, my point is, it should be mandatory.
The Fox and the Hound: Who is your best friend? My girlfriend? Eri? Teri? Kara and Mags? Flo and Lapi? I-- there are just so many in so many different ways.
The Little Mermaid: If you could have anything you wanted in exchange for one of your talents, which talent would you give up and what would you give it up for?  ...oh, that’s hard....... Possibly my talent with rote memory? It served me well in school, and-- wait, no if I had memory issues I wouldn’t be able to remember as much about friends as I do;; I don’t know. My writing is my life. My drawings give me a way to Express Snapshot Moments in ways my writing hasn’t figured out yet. My ability to phrase things well helps me comfort people. My capacity for understanding people is integral in my daily interactions. My psychic empathy helps me “feel out” situations and while it doesn’t tell me EVERYTHING, it puts me at ease. (Astral projection and magic are an integral part of who I am, and life would feel too empty without them, too...) My resilience helps me cope with surviving health conditions that constantly trigger my phobia (not to mention, also Trauma)... I really don’t know what “talent” I could give up;;
Maybe running very quickly for short bursts. I’ve been too fatigued lately to use it, and it’s not like I’ve needed to run anywhere for like, 7 years. 8P I would give it up for cash flow. Not just a lot of money-- having money consistently coming in.
Beauty and the Beast: What is your favorite book/book series? 80′s New Teen Titans, hands down! (Though the Sevenwaters stories by Juliet Mariller are also very good. As is just about anything ever written by Neal Shusterman...)
Aladdin: Could you give up your happiness for someone else’s? Gladly. Although, ideally, I’ll always try to find a compromise.
Nightmare Before Christmas: If you could reinvent a holiday, which one would you remake and how? (Why is this on a Disney/Pixar thing?) I’d probably reinvent Valentine’s Day, and totally reinvent the social conceptions surrounding it. Not necessary. Not something ~everyone~ has to participate in (my aro-flux ass doesn’t need to have contrived romantic notions shoved down my throat, thanks). I’d let it be something people CAN celebrate, if they WANT to.
That, or make Easter about Ostara again. ;PPP
The Lion King: Have you ever lost someone important to you? .....I have too many memories to answer this in a concise way. So let’s just say, Yes. Many times over. Across at LEAST four of my past lives. --No, wait: Make that five.
A Goofy Movie: What was your favorite family vacation and why? Bold of you to assume I enjoyed any ~family vacations~. Honestly my favorite vacations were with my mother, my girlfriend, or both.
Pocahontas: What do you think it means to sing with all the voices of the mountains and paint with all the colors of the wind? I think it means the ethereal power of your own voice echoing back to you and using nonvisual aids to create something is a power we can all attain if we put our minds to it. I think it just means harnessing power within you, within the world, and acknowledging that it’s not exactly... societal convention to do so.
Toy Story: If your toys came to life, what things could they hold over you and blackmail you with? Probably the way I constantly used them for trauma coping. (my earliest emvents were originally played out through my toys. /=w=‘;;;; )
Hercules: If you were a god or goddess, what would your powers include? Bold of you to assume I am not already a goddess in my own right~ ~~ ~~~~ (Seriously. Healing and astral projection/visiting other worlds and empathic stuff and helping animals? I’ve got magic for that shit.) I WOULD love to have healing powers and PHSYICAL astral projection like Raven’s though...
Mulan: What are your opinions on gendered products? It’s nonsense.
Tarzan: Do you believe that animals are capable of “human” emotion?  It’s impossible not to. I’ve seen them. I’ve FELT them. You try touching a fish on the line, out of the water, and feel raw panic lighting every single nerve ending on fire, drawing your entire body tight as a bowstring, desperation to DO SOMETHING suffocating all thought, and tell me animals don’t feel emotion. YOU accidentally touch your tongue to a piece of beef and feel your entire body crashing and suffocating and thrashing and dying as the worst panic attack you’ve ever felt INSTANTLY slams into you, and tell me animals don’t feel emotion. You crave the chance to touch and pet a happy animal, just to remind you of what simple, pure pleasure feels like, and tell me animals don’t feel emotion.
tl;dr empathy proves to me that Hell Yeah, They Feel A LOT.
The Emperor’s New Groove: Have you ever changed your views because you were in the wrong? Sure have. I was introduced to homophobia at age 10. I wasn’t introduced to homosexuality as Love until about age 12 or 14. I was taught that “socialism” meant “poverty and tyranny”, until I was about 18 years old. I was taught that destroying yourself for others is the only true expression of compassion, but I learned to love myself, respect myself, and that you shouldn’t HAVE to destroy yourself to make someone you love HAPPY. I knew that wasn’t happiness, but I learned that isn’t love, that isn’t respect, and that isn’t even remotely healthy. Let alone, “good”. And that, perhaps, took the longest of all...
Atlantis: What are you passionate about? Fandoms (SU and TT in particular), freedom, peace, animals, basic rights being respected, the stars, the snow, the forest.... A lot of things, really.
Monsters Inc: Did you believe there were monsters in your closet when you were a kid? No, but I did believe there were portals to other worlds, if I could just FIND them... (And to be fair, I never found a place that would make me disappear, but I did discover a lot of “portals” via astral projection. ;P )
Lilo and Stitch: What is your relationship with your sibling’s like? If you don’t have any, would you rather have an older or younger sibling and why? It’s strange. I used to be way closer with my younger sister, but I think we both faced challenges that we had to deal with, and thought we had to deal with them alone. So we kind of drifted apart. I have tried, and do want, to reconnect with her, though. With my littler siblings: I think maybe we’re closer now than we’ve ever been. I love spending time with them.
With my younger half-brother: I haven’t seen him in months, and I don’t even know him anymore... He’s going down a scary path, and we have nothing in common anymore. Besides a love of music, maybe, and doing something unorthodox to build the futures we want. But his is, well... a lot more dangerous than mine;;
With my older half-brother: I rarely ever see him, but he’s fun to banter with and he’s very street-smart. I think there’s a lot I could learn from him.
Finding Nemo: Do you think parents should allow their children freedom after a certain age? At BIRTH! Of course you should protect them from irreversible damage. But you also have to let them make their own mistakes, and learn from their own experiences. Otherwise it cheapens them having their own willpower, their own thoughts, their own feelings, their own LIFE. you have to respect THEIR right to choose, too.
Brother Bear: If you could become any animal, which would you choose? Do you even have to ask? A bird. A corvid. (Not sure which one, exactly; American crow would be fine and common raven would be extremely special, but other european corvids also heave my heart.. hmm.)
Meet the Robinsons: Who do you consider “family?” My friends. Anyone I’ve talked to one-on-one. Anyone who..... well, I might as well come out about it here: Anyone who shares Certain Kintypes.
Tinkerbell: Have you ever tried to be someone you’re not for the sake of fitting in? Never. (I’ve paled my presence to blend in and lower my chances of Being Rejected, sometimes even to the point of using magic, but I’ve never changed who I am to fit in.)
Bolt: How far would you go for someone you cared about? To the ends of this world, and others, even if I could never come back.
The Princess and the Frog: If you dug a little deeper, what would be your ultimate goal in life, provided income wasn’t an issue? Bold of you to assume I’m not already Digging As Deep As I Can for my Ultimate Goal! (those wealthy people i associate with? that c/ashflow i mentioned? that o/rganization i love and cherish? yeah.)
Tangled: Could you sacrifice yourself for someone you barely knew? I don’t know... I don’t think I could do that to my friends and found family, or my mother and siblings. The situation would have to be Just Right.
Wreck-It Ralph: What’s your favorite video game? Honestly? The Teen Titans gamecube game. That ending. Fricking META. (Also, it inspired the entirety of DDD, so..........) Also Pokemon, Hey You Pikachu, and Persona 5, and Undertale. Games with a Great Story, A Great Cast, and Fun Playthrough that you can Customize are Essential.
Frozen: Do you believe in love at first sight? No. That isn’t love, it’s either infatuation or lust. I can believe in love at first conversation, but what you’re loving at that point isn’t a whole person. It’s your PERCEPTION of who they are. It’s loving an ASPECT of them, not their entirety. And for it to be real love, you have to at least be able to ACCEPT them in their entirety. You don’t have to “love” EVERYTHING, but you have to know it to love it, you know?
Big Hero Six: If you could be any superhero, who would you be and why? Do you even have to ask? Raven! (Our struggles are really not so different. What I wouldn’t give to have seen Azarath. What I wouldn’t give to be able to heal people as completely as she can, on as many levels...)
Inside Out: Which of your emotions do you think controls your brain most often? They don’t. And, well, “compassion” and “peace” aren’t exactly “emotions”, are they? (though in the rare moments when i DO get my brain trapped in an emotion, it’s usually depression....;;;;)
Zootopia: Have you ever experienced discrimination first-hand? I nearly got kicked out of the family home because I’m not Christian. I can’t be as open about my relationship with my girlfriend as I’d like because we’re both afab. I’ve been told I’m going to hell for wearing a fucking cloak. Don’t even get me started on aro/acephobia and fandom drama.....

CU Tangled AU ideas, part 2
A continuation of the discusion of the CU Tangled AU (a friendship based AU with Harold as Rapunzel and George as Flynn/Eugene) with @princeasimdiya12  (so if it sounds like I’m talking to someone in particular, that is who I’m talking to). I made a new post so we wouldn’t have to keep reblogging the first one, which is super long at this point. I’d check the last/recent version of that post to understand what is going on/what we are talking about.
Also, I ended up doing some drawings for this AU, but I won’t be scanning or inking/coloring just yet.
The removal of the rainbows from the symbol would be an interesting choice.
The parents would have still been together after the abduction, but separated some time after Heidi was born. The queen loves Heidi, but she’s very paranoid of losing another child so Heidi either stayed behind palace walls or had to have an escort at all times when outside. Poor girl doesn’t have a lot of playmates or friends because of this.
Though I had this cute idea that CU eventually wanted to meet the queen at some point but ended up meeting Heidi instead. By this point she’s heard of him and admires everything she’s heard about regarding him, so she would never get him sent to prison or send him to Krupp who seems to REALLY hate CU more more than everything he does that gets on his nerves (like helping out the citizens and being so popular with the children of the kingdom). The two get along really well to the point it’s like Heidi got the dad she always wanted. She then asks CU if he could help find her brother so that her mom could be happy again, and CU promises he will–though after she has to clarify that Harold is probably NOT an infant after so many years passed by when CU assumes he’s supposed to be looking for a baby.
Also, Heidi probably jokingly told her mom that she wouldn’t mind having someone like CU as her stepdad. And Krupp overhears this or eventually finds out and has an EPIC reaction of horror and embarrassment. (And no, he doesn’t want to try to marry the queen for power–that would be a stupid cliche in my opinion.)
Anyway, CU tries to keep an eye out for Harold, but he always seems to completely miss the tower. However, Harold did catch a glimpse of CU on a stroke of luck through the window and heard him yell out his catch phrase. It happened so fast that Harold couldn’t do anything about it or even see his face, but he was excited about it and showed Edith a drawing of what he could make out. It gave them both hope that perhaps they could finally escape and be free once more. Perhaps one day they’ll see that strange man in just a cape and undergarments and he’d set them free.
I’m also adding the above because I want the boys to be connected before they finally meet in the present day. Especially since CU is a living representation of their friendship. Also when Harold finally meets CU, he’s at first shocked and thinks it’s one of the funniest/best things he’s ever seen, but then he realizes that he’s heard that ‘TRA-LA-LAA!’ before and gets excited that he finally met the strange man in so little clothing who can fly.
But it would be ironic because Krupp chasing George into a hiding spot that’s actually a secret passageway to the tower would partly be due to George trying multiple times to snap his fingers to bring CU out and Krupp frantically stops each one (especially if he does the ‘cover your ears and try to talk loudly’ route). So CU being around is what leads to George finding Harold/CU starting to fulfill his promise to Heidi.
I bet Edith knows what a dolphin looks like and the animal becomes Harold’s favorite creature to summon. Anyway, The Grimm’s fairytales weren’t a thing just yet in the timeframe of Tangled (which I think was supposed to be 1780 if the research was correct), so I think Edith would be familiar with the Charles Perrault stories as well as both versions of Beauty and the Beast (I think it would be insanely ironic if that was a story she liked. The idea of someone who seems like a beast but would be a prince deep down somewhere inside–even in a figurative sense–is very sweet and perfectly reflects the romance she has in the film/will soon have in this AU. I don’t know if she would like a fairytale like Cinderella after living out a similar story and being screwed over instead of gaining her freedom). So she recounts the fairytales to Harold and they amuse themselves by coming up with their own versions over time.
Also it turns out George and Harold love the same kind of stories–the ones with heroes to go as far as to break the rules to do the right thing. Stories like Robin Hood, yes, but also ones where the hero is silly and delusional, like Don Quixote (someone on tumblr ACTUALLY proposed a Don Quixote CU AU, but I don’t know where it went). The memories of his parents telling stories to him, as well as being able to tell his own stories to them, are among George’s most cherished memories.
I imagine that when George comes into the tower, he’s knocked out because they have no clue what is going on, but after the excitement, they hide him away. And there would be that moment like in the film where Ribble makes it point blank she’s NEVER going to let them leave the tower which is soul crushing for Harold but angers Edith–it’s one thing for the woman to put her down with so many insults as a way to keep her inside, but it’s another to insult the boy and deny him any freedom.
Cue the bargaining scene. And I love the set up and your idea of how things could be resolved so that the crown can be returned.
Considering how in the film Gothel snuck in and out o the castle like magic, the magical folk would have been among the first who were suspected, but she’s not too lost in her grief to ask for help. Lisa and Billy’s families were probably among the first to leave, but they were told about Krupp as a warning so it all clicks for them when they find out who is chasing George down. And yeah, I could see Krupp being gleeful at the idea of capturing two young spellcasters and making it a big deal while scaring them half to death. He also thinks they aren’t a threat because he doesn’t think children are as powerful as adults–boy was he proven wrong!
It takes him awhile to figure out what happened to him but unlike his book/film counterpart, he finds out and is it NOT a good moment for him. It’s to the point that capturing George becomes his personal goal (with goal number two being trying to find a way to undo the spell while keeping it a secret).
I guess recounting the story would have to be like a Gilligan cut, just to make things easier.
Krupp would recognize Edith as the person who was with the boys and while she pities him, she also would remind him that she should be the one whose angry because she was separated from the boys–one of whom she is very close with and swore to keep an eye out for. But I can see Krupp trying to keep his anger down and, after Edith shows some kindness towards him, he slowly starts to relax and drop his guard around her. Though he’s still trying to cover himself up when they go find the boys and when Edith tells him that CU was very sweet and not  only acted like a gentleman towards her, but also saved her in the chaos of the destruction of the dam/quarry, it annoys him (not realizing he’s actually being jealous of his counterpart).
And when Krupp does find the boys, they pull the repeating switching personalities scenario to mess with him and also because it’s so funny.
Yeah, George would need to be in disguise–he’d probably wear a mask or something. He’d show Harold around town and even though Harold had his first time playing/hanging out with kids at the Snugly Duckling, it’s the first time he’s played together with someone his own age who shares similar likes and dislikes. And because Harold has so much fun, it makes everything new to George again and he can quit worrying about getting caught, never finding his family, or mean adults–he can be like a kid again. They would still do the boat and go out when there are all the lanterns, but it’s a moment of being friends–NO ROMANCE! None whatsoever! It’s a moment where they finally reach the best friend status without realizing it. (When George sacrifices his life to save Harold and Harold is willing to trade his freedom to save George, that is when they know for sure how strong that friendship is).
Ooooooh, rainbow lanterns. I love it. :)
Also, when I said that Krupp begins to let his guard down around Edith, she also promises to not let him switch on accident during the festival after the boys did the back-and-forth on him–especially because transforming without realizing it is a source of paranoia that keeps him from being comfortable around people and keeps him from enjoying himself. When it DOES happen, she is able to keep her promise and turns him back in a way that won’t make him miserable–like leading CU to a place with water before he can start throwing things off, getting her hand wet, and then placing it on his head like checking a fever. And when Krupp awakens, she smiles and says something like ‘See? I told you I’d keep my promise.’ So not only does this increase his ability to trust Edith and deepens his appreciation towards her, but it’s one of the moments that leads to him beginning to develop stronger feelings towards her (though he’d struggle with that, because he also thinks that there’s no way she’d like him back due to his reputation, the ‘curse,’ and that she seemed to favor CU more than him).
Yeah that stuff about him and George and figuring out Harold’s identity sounds about accurate.
That’s a clever choice for the roles of the Stabbington Brothers and makes sense. Though I bet that at one point Ribble catches a glimpse of Edith with Krupp and not only is mad at the woman’s betrayal, but she can’t stand Edith being happy, looking so beautiful in that moment, or with a man which is a clear sign she’ll lose her servant and be forced to do a lot of the chores if that happens. And that gives her more ways to attack Edith later on when she and Harold are forced to go back.
I did have this one, super dark idea that ties into the original fairy tale–when Harold realizes why he was placed in the tower in the first place and Edith tries to help him out once again, Ribble decides that Edith is disposable–she can always find another servant–and decides to invoke a slow death upon Edith by having her trapped under these super thorny hedges/bushes near the tower. There’s a couple of feet thick of thorns in the least dense areas outside the spot Edith is stuck in, but there are so many thorns that it would be super painful to try to break the bushes all apart. In fact, the thorns can also gradually sap away the strength or magic of anyone who gets scratched or pierced by them, just to twist the knife further. Meanwhile, there’s enough room for Edith to be able to sit up or lay down, but it’s still a nightmare of a place to be stuck in if you happen to hate small spaces. The idea is that Edith will die of starvation or die in her attempt to escape since she’s not that powerful or strong enough to begin with, and that ‘her bones will mingle with the thorns’ since no one will be able to find her. (Also, NO ONE GOES BLIND like in the story because of this. I don’t want to make this AU THAT gruesome).
Of course Edith WILL be found, but let’s save that discussion for another time.
Well, I don’t know how soon I can respond back with more ideas. Until then, Merry Christmas.

1. favourite character
dang, this isn’t an easy start but my absolute favourite would probably be the lgm (little green men) but i do love marie, toulouise and berlioz from the aristocats :)
2. favorite princess
ugh this is so hard but i love belle because she’s a bookworm like me, and tiana because she’s so underrated and she’s always been indescribable to me. there’s just something that i love about her and really think she’s incredible. i am aware that this reason is quite vague but i’ve just loved her the moment i watched the frog prince.
3. favorite heroine
mulan because female empowerment right there.
4. favorite prince
omggggg i used to have a huge crush on prince eric, shane and adam as i was growing up but i gotta go with adam.
5. favorite hero
mmmmm this is really hard because i grew up idolising women to feel strong in a society that favours male supremacy and racial dominance (hence, why i admired mulan so much - an asian girl, like me, managed to save lives and that’s been my biggest dream; to help people and save lives as a woman) but i gotta give this to hercules. i really love his transition of character through wanting to be accepted to complacency to an end with nobility; it gives children the right image of favouring good deeds sincerely rather than being a saint for publicity.
6. favorite animal
this is so hard ugh i love animals in general but i gotta go with figaro from pinocchio because he is THE CUTEST THING EVER
7. favorite sidekick
umm i was gonna say syndrome as a joke but ya he’s an asshole so um on a serious note, i’d say mushu. who could ever go wrong with mushu?
