TAKAYUKI YAGAMI

Chad Fan of meaningful kisses on the nose, on the crown of your head, on the cheeks, the hands, basically the anything but your lips. Not because there is anything wrong with them per se, he just has this weird conviction that lip-kissses are perceived as sexual and in general just not very special. Don’t ask him how he got that idea, but it’s a hill he WILL, surprisingly enough, die on.

Kisses on the lips can be expected anytime you are apart for a longer period or something very special (read dangerous) happens and he needs to make sure you are there with him to stay. Such kisses will be deep, loving and last until both of you are absolutely out of breath. Most likely followed by one or even few kisses to the temple, as a sign of security.

Beacuse each of his kisses has a meaning you will learn to tell apart. If temple is security and lips are longing, nose is playfulness, forehead represents care, neck stands for trust and hands obedience. Yagami may be a puzzle, but gods be damned if he is not the most fascinating, showstopping, incredible puzzle known to mankind.

TORU HIGASHI

Will not kiss you on the lips until the hell freezes over. In a sense kind of similar conviction to Yagami, with the small difference being - it does actually turn him on. Not the butterfly kisses of course, but he doesn’t like those. If he is to kiss you, he will do it properly. And then get horny, which just turns into this viscious cycle. In other words, the best he can do is a smooch on the corner of your lips.

That said even these ideal “proper” kisses he so glorifies are still somewhat inexperienced. Some teeth knocking here, some freezing up because he opened his eyes and got embarrassed there. And as much as he finds that shameful, he also thrives off the possibility of learning with you as his first love. Hopefully teaching him or learning alongside him is just as exuberant for you. It does take time though, since he refuses to be kissed.

Other kinds of kisses are unlikely anywhere but in sexy settings. He will of course worship your body during sexual intercourse, as well as give you a caring kiss in the afterglow, but that’s about it. PDA is rough with that one.

AKIRA NISHIKIYAMA

All about them sloppy kisses in the side alleyway that makes the kids go “eww”. For how many partners he boasts to have, his technique leaves something to be desired. But does that really matter when you feel him melt under the swipe of your tongue? I think not. Loves to have his lip bitten and his throat secured by your hands as you do the deed. Applying just a little bit of pressure there, not enough to choke but only to give him a taste would drive him absolutely wild, if that’s what you are going for. Deep kisses do not automatically mean sexy times though, sometimes he feels like it and that’s all there is. 

Definitely the kind to kiss your hands, just because he enjoys them a lot. It’s a little thing, but goes a long way to show you belong to him for any pesky onlookers. Sometimes he might go for butterfly kiss on the lips, if situation calls for it, but it almost always turns into a deep kiss. He likes them a lot, in case that was not clear.

Would and will gently suck your fingers in public if he’s feeling frisky. Angel act afterwards, no one could ever tell he did that. But you know.

TATSUO SHINADA

Wouldn’t say that out loud, but he likes to kiss you the most after (or while, whatever works for you) you eat something sweet, just to get a taste. 

He is the master of any kiss ever and he offers A LOT of them, this PDA king. A little peck in the morning, a smooch on the cheek in the afternoon and so many kisses in the evening. For what its worth, he tries his best to balance them out, so as to not overwhelm you and takes your feedback into consideration always. They are hardly ever harsh, despite their frequency. They would be somewhere in the middle, you definitely feel them and they linger for a bit, but nothing that would have you questioning your senses. These kinds are saved for very special ocasions.

Unconsciously gives you a little massage. Holding your head during a kiss? Nice little scalp scrapping. Holding a hand instead? His fingers are already working out some tension fron your muscles. It’s just a thing (tm) he does and is pretty good at. Outright asking him to do a massage might be dangerous though - consciously he gets very dedicated and rough. Will pepper any accidental bruises with kisses, if it helps.

KYOHEI HAMURA

Bitch kisser, what else is new. It happens on his terms or not at all. Knows exactly when you want to get a kiss, like a special spider sense of his. It’s almost comic how well it works. You will only get it if you are being good, which is hardly defined so good luck, or when he feels like it. It does happen quite often though, that he feels like it. His kisses are much like his love in general - ravenous, mind-numbing and absolutely filthy. In the sense that he will take it in the middle of the street or your meeting, if he so pleases. He won’t do it if he feels you definitely do not want to, though. The sense works both ways, even if it greatly annoys him that there is something he cannot have.

Aside from your usual lip-kisses which are a given, and despite their nature are not always sexual, he enjoys having a bite of you. Like the hungry animal that he is, he gladly sinks his teeth into your earlobe, neck, tigh - anywhere you let him, really. Bruises happen, but they leave a bad taste in his mouth for a reason he fails to explain. It’s one thing when it accidentally happens because he is being consensually rough with you, and other to do it by design. He’d rather just leave teeth marks. They are more “adult”, he says.

FUMIYA SUGIURA

Will abuse his power of parkour to take you by a pleasant surprise every time. He enjoys the short, fleeting kisses the most - enough to give just a taste to keep you and himself coming back for more. His kisses are usually just a random shot without any deeper thought. Wherever rulette lands on a given day, is where he strikes. When time allows, he enjoys peppering your face in them, kissing every individual component one by one and even vocally listing them as he goes.

If you have any beauty marks, moles, freckles and other blemishes that are okay to touch, it will be a prime entertainment for him to smooch each and every one of them during your together time. You might be watching a movie together, when suddenly he catches that one cute mark on your hand again and the fun begins from there onwards. Pays a lot of attention to them during spicy times as well, just to remind you that none of these will ever be imperfections to him.

MAKOTO TSUKUMO

Not interested in kisses other than a sporadic cheek kiss or lovingly bumping your noses together. It’s just not his love language style and he is not interested in changing it. You are free to kiss him however you wish, he will even entertain anything more sophisticated just to make you happy. But have no illussions, he is not in any way good in it. With time, he learns to like kisses to the crown of your and his head. Depending on who does the spooning, especially whenever you would play games together, Tsukumo likes in equal measure to receive, as well as gift you those fleeting touches as a reminder that what you have is very important to him. Even if it may seem otherwise to you, by design of his character.

After some time spent with you and assuring himself this is a thing to last, he will make an effort to learn more about the arts of kissing. While he will still not initiate any action, he wants to feel more prepared to please whenever you get the mood. The boys put in all the effort to pass on their personal experience onto him, but at the end of the day Tsukumo realizes it’s not the kind of thing he can just read a book about. The next time you give him a kiss, you see him visibly responding differently, less neutrally.

Who knows, maybe he will end up liking it.

Shinada hcs pls!

It’s been so long since I’ve played Y5, but honestly Shinada was such a sweetheart. I wish we got to see more of him 💕

It gets said very often, but Shinada definitely gives off Golden Retriever vibes. He’s just so wholesome and loves you so much, and is always happy to see you. He literally lights up around you. He can’t believe that you’re with him at times, seeing himself as unworthy of you.

It likely took him a while to ask you out, and he probably doubted that you held the same feelings for him. However, his crush on you would just become too much, and he would end up spontaneously blurting out a confession one day, leaving you feeling pretty stunned. He’d also be extremely surprised when you accept his confession, and agree to go on a date with him.

He is so cuddly and clingy behind closed doors. He’s a very affectionate man, and craves your touch, to the point where even when out in public, he has to be touching you somehow, even if it’s just holding your hand.

He’s not necessarily a jealous person, but he does get insecure at times when he sees you around other men. He feels as though he doesn’t have much to offer you, and often compares himself to others, wondering if someone else could possibly make you happier. Reassure this man please.

Shinada is such a couch potato, so expect lots of naps and lazy cuddles on the sofa. He just adores snuggling in to you, holding you close as he drifts off to sleep. His favourite thing to do is to take naps with you, or cuddle up on the sofa with takeout to watch a movie or series.

He would definitely take you with him on little dates to the Batting Center, even if it’s just to sit there and cheer him on. If you’re no good at batting/baseball, he would teach you how to hit the ball correctly. He’d manage to make it very cute and romantic, by standing behind you and wrapping his arms around you as he corrects your grip on the bat, showing you how to swing correctly too. You’d probably get distracted by the close proximity, and forget everything he’d just shown you.

He doesn’t have a lot of money, so he wouldn’t be able to shower you with gifts or take you on fancy dates, but it’s the little things that count. He’d still try and take you out when he can, taking you to quiet restaurants or cafes, or even grabbing a bite to eat from a food truck and finding a nice bench for the two of you to sit and chat whilst you eat. As long as you’re together, even if it’s just something simple, he’s happy, and he hopes you feel the same way too.

Yandere Takumi Shinada/Black Pepper headcanons

He's been having a crush on you since you both were children.

He tries to ask you on dates,but you're very genuine and doesn't get that he loves you.

Things were just normal until Rosemary shows up.

Now,everytime he tries to ask you out,you refuse because you "need to go and help Mari with something".

He got supicious when he noticed that Yui also needed to "help".

He starts to stalk you,so he can know the reason why you always have to run away when he asks you out.

He's not jealous,of course,he understands very well that jealousy is stupid.

He's just worried.

When he saw you as a Precure,fighting against those monsters...he thought Rosemary was the reason.

Why you and Yui were hiding this? Why Rosemary "forced" you into this?

There's no way he can trust Rosemary after this.

Even after he saw that you were fighting because you wanted to,he thought it was all fake,it was Rosemary who forced you and Yui to fight.

He felt that he must protect you,and he will.

He finally use his father delicious stone and introduce himself as black pepper.

He will use the stone to protect you and the others,but principally you.

He still doesn't trust Rosemary,even if he tries to support him.

If any ubauzo hurt you in the battle,he gets mad,and just tries to destroy that monster himself.

Of course it goes wrong and the girls have to save him.

The stalking goes harder.

He NEED to keep you safe in and out of the battles.

Principally because when you're not fighting,you're with Yui,that other girls and Rosemary.

He's not a bad yandere after all,he's just extremely protective with you.

You felt on your knees while you saw that misterious man,black pepper,approach you,after you defeat a Ubauzo.

—Are you okay,Cure [insert cure name]?!—He asked,it seems like he was worried.

—I-im okay,just a bit exhausted.—You anwsered,you didn't knew why he was always worried with you,you don't even know him.—Hey,can i ask you some-

—[CURE NAME]! Oh my god,are you okay?!—Rosemary asked you,Precious,Spicy and Yum-Yum were behind him.

—Yeah,i'm fine,i'm strong,after all.—You smiled to him.

—Ah! Thank god,now lets g- —He held out his hand to you,but black pepper slapped it away.

—Don't touch them!—He gave Rosemary a menacing look while hugged you.—I'm not letting you force them into anything again!

—W-what?!

—You forced them into this,don't you? You forced [Your name] and Yui into fighting with ubauzos!—In that moment of anger,he forgot to hide that he knows your secret identity.

—H-how do you know my name?—You asked,getting away from his grasp.

—I'm warning you,Rosemary,if they end up getting into more dangerous situations because of you,i won't be friendly anymore.—He grabbed you hand and took you with him when he teleports himself back to the normal world,infront of...Takumi's family guest house? But why would he be here?

He took the delicious stone out of his hat,revealing himself to you,it was Takumi.

—T-Takumi? You were Black pepper all this time?

He noded his head

—Hey,[Your name]. Why you were hiding what you were doing from me? You should've warned me before.—He looked a lot worried,even though his face was blunt as always.—If you've told me,i could have interfered earlier.

—I couldn't! Mari told me to keep it as a secret,because if someone knew about this,could be dangerous!—You anwsered his question,kind of scared of your friend,after the previous events,the way he threatned Rosemary,it was very serious.—Why you threatned Mari? He's such a good person.

—But you got involved in all of this because of him! What if you get hurt? Or die? I just couldn't live without you.—He held your shoulders,trying to calm himself.—That's why i won't allow you to fight anymore.

—What?

—Don't get the wrong ideia,it's for your safety.—He held your hand.—You'll be living in my room from now on,i'll tell your parents that you ran away,and tell the others that you're sick,so you can't go and see them.

—Takumi,that's sick!—You let go of his hand and slowly backed away.

—But that's the only way to keep you away from fighting,so...i don't actually care if it's sick or not.—For the first time on your life,Takumi's honesty hurted you.

That was not the calm and cool Takumi you've met.

It was a completely diferent boy,who loves you a real lot.

Crossover fics deserve love and here’s why:

As an author on AO3, I’ve noticed that there is a stigma against crossover pairings (not aus set in other universes). Whether that be because people are possessive over their favorite fandoms or because most crossovers are associated with bad writing, I can’t pin down a specific cause. But I don’t think it’s justified.

My friend (spicycider on AO3) and I (Moonshot_Sputnik on AO3) really have been wanting to break this stereotype. We’ve spent months writing two crossover fics, each between 17,000-20,000 words in total. Some may argue quality over quantity but I assure you we have both! We beta read for one another and it’s our own personal pairings that make us happy.

The biggest problem for me has been viewer preference, one person might know one fandom and not the other, they lose interest and scroll past. So for my fic I specifically targeted the audience of the more popular fanbase and wrote it so they didn’t have to know the media it’s crossed over with!

More often than not, I see well written crossovers with lots of effort put into them having a little viewer count and an even smaller amount of kudos given to them. I stress that readers and writers should give crossover fics a chance! Rather than shunning the authors, please celebrate them for the effort they put into something that many consider as “cringe”.

Shinada is a fun date, albeit a low-key one. don’t expect anything fancy. you’re gonna do basic stuff like play games together at the arcade and eat cheap curry, and you’re gonna be paying.

He is super sweet, but sometimes he’ll say stuff that is a bit odd and uncomfortable, like maybe implying a number rating of your body type. or he’ll compare you to other people he’s gone on dates with. this is because of a) force of habit from his line of work, and b) the fact that he doesn’t have much of a filter, he just says what he’s thinking, especially when he’s excited. so i hope you’re not too sensitive about this kind of thing. he doesn’t mean anything not nice by it though.

PREFACE

I don’t have much to say this time around. A shocker, I know. My brain just full of Shinada now and literally nothing else. Just Shinada and how badly I need a Shinada hug. Thank you, Non. I loved writing this, a whole lot! Since we’re on the topic of relationship 101 I decided to go with this format for our golden baseball boy. Hope you enjoy and stay cool!

RELATIONSHIP 101 WITH SHINADA

Surprisingly enough, getting into a serious relationship makes him really rethink some of the poor life choices he has made. It is one thing that now he feels responsible for being able to provide for the both of you - don’t even try to change his mind on that one, you may be the biggest hotshot of a thriving enterprise and that will make him all the more anxious about his poor situation. Shinada definitely decides to end his journalistic career in the night club departament, instead landing a cozy spot in the sports section. He tries to mask it as just getting a better offer, but it’s easy to see that his main concern was you possibly feeling uncomfortable with his job. He has to make absolutely sure you’re proud of him!

Cheap date ideas are absolutely his thing and they never fail thanks to his absolute charm. He may completely burn the dinner (and the apartament together with it) and yet he always finds a way to make it work, even if he might have had to involve additional resources and call in a few favours. The favourite kind of date for him is, of course, taking you out for a local match of baseball! There is nothing better than sharing his beloved sport with his beloved person while also getting a chance to show off his knowledge a bit. You even get to meet all the players in person once the match concludes, maybe even sneak your way into a nice dinner together with them. A win for the belly and the pocket.

Shinada is BIG on public displays of affection. Keeping you in close proximity when you both go out, preferably with his hand resting somewhere on your body, makes him feel more secure. Not only does it scare away any potential bachelors on their way to bother you, but also lets Shinada know that you are right here next to him and he can protect you should anything happen. It feels incredibly good for him to feel in control of your safety at all times, but there is one thing feeling even better. Hugs. And there is no additional context to them, he just thinks they are incredibly neat! Being wrapped around you - don’t even think of being the one on the top of the hug, even if you are physically bigger than him - makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside, while also giving him an opportunity to catch a whiff of your perfume, cologne or just shampoo. Let him touch you, if only a bit, and he will make sure you are never left wanting!

Being the semi-professional photographer that he is, this man absolutely loves taking pictures of you, no matter what the occasion and if there even is one. His phone is absolutely filled to the brim with pretty decent shots and his laptop has photo editing software running at all times. Suffice to say, Shinada never agrees to make any changes to you or put any filters unless there is a very good reason to do so. It’s imperial for him to leave the pictures as natural as possible, with just a few twitches here and there. The best ones inevitably end up printed out and put into your scrapbook of shared memories, that your boyfriend roped you into on your first anniversary. He turns out to be quite clumsy with the DIY ornaments requiring precision, but the album still ends up being the best representation of everything he and this relationship is.
