Finally found a really good Shinx base so could start designing my poke-fusion ideas to go along with shadowfreak! Base is by KittyKrazy on TH. I of course heavily edited it

I’ve had the idea for an Absol x Luxray line for awhile since I like both those Pokes, and actually got a design of one awhile back. But wasn’t quite what I wanted. So here’s my own lil bab! 

The Pokemon Infinite Fusion calculator (aegide dot github dot io) really helped me keep colors and balance in check. I didn’t want it to too heavily lean into one pokemon over the other. 

I have the second stage but don’t know when I’ll have a third. Every Luxray base is traced over official art, so I’ll have to draw him fully myself, which takes a lot longer lol

I doodle a lot in my down time-- mostly free time at work-- but I don't really upload unfinished works anywhere. Figure I could drop them here- the pokemon related ones anyway, since that's where my blog is certainly centered. So, have some varying-quality-papers

Primarily featuring: My two favorite pokemon lines Shinx and Noibat. Hybrid/fusion mons relating to those two, mew + mewtwo oc concepts- and some teeny tiny kanto starters (and croagunk, drawn by my younger brother)

oh yeah i finished the designs for my heroes and partners this morning. was originally gonna upload each of them with my npc redesigns from their respective games but ehhh might as well post them now.

rescue team (team fable): mayar (skitty, she/they) and newlin (mudkip/seadra hybrid, he/him)

explorers (team saviour): asta (eevee/sylveon half evolution, she/it) and dustin (shinx, he/him)

gates to infinity (the eden): nadine (snivy, she/he) and kazuki (oshawott/palafin hybrid, he/him)

super (the vagabonds): zaya (fennekin, she/her) and dalia (treecko, she/her)

I loved the stylization of these bases by DaisyChain on TH, so wanted to draw Luxsol on them! I also wasn't fully happy with how the 2nd evo looked on the other bases, think my ideas get across better on this one.
