I’ve been playing marvel rivals nonstop and have unfortunately fallen into the trap of “Maining character I’m attracted to” pit once again, and double unfortunately it’s Loki. I’ve gotten so attached to his Rivals! Iteration I’m watching avengers shows that have his actor as Loki in it, he dials up the gay theatrics in his delivery and it’s the best Loki’s such a little shit I love him. taking first watch

the wip doodle and lineart. in my mind they're waiting to get picked up by the future foundation at a safe location (the airport) and trying to get some rest before then - out of the three of them, byakuya is faring the best (kyoko hasn't been sleeping well since even before the last two trials, makoto fell down a trash chute) and so volunteered for the night

Which art program do you use and what brush for scribbling/ sketching ?

I’ve always been curious cause I noticed your artstyle has different brush’s used for linear sometimes.

I use Photoshop for 99% of my digital art! (I don't recommend it! there's a bunch of reasons I use it, but there are significantly better and cheaper art programs out there.) as for brushes...I do go through phases and love affairs with different inking brushes. :') although I always end up going back to my old faithfuls from Alex Dukal's Pencil Gardens set; they're just the EXACT right level of pressure sensitivity and texture that I like! (I honestly only use like 10% of the brushes from that set but it is so worth it. hands-down the absolute best traditional-style pencil brushes I've ever found for PS.)

I have some other brush recs (both free and paid, and some for CSP + Procreate) in this post too!

#how do art #every once in a while i go into a brush-downloading fugue #i see some cool scribbly lines and i just black out and wake up with folders full of abrs #it may be a poor craftsman who blames their tools for their output #but is it not every craftsman who sees a shiny new tool and goes I NEED THAT RIGHT NOW #whether or not the shiny new tool ever ends up getting used is irrelevant #we are all but dragons sitting atop piles of creative supplies and cackling

POV: you’re the tired Pokemon partners to a trio of slightly feral rat children. (You are also feral yourself)

One part experiment, one part art style study of @critterbitter’s GORGEOUS art, and all an excuse to dabble in drawing some Pokémon (and bonus rat children because Crit I love what you’ve done with them so much it’s ENDING ME every time you post)

Done in Procreate entirely with the syrup brush to capture the feel of MS Paint because that’s the mood I was in lol, and only a single blend layer right at the end to harmonize the colors. Those shadows and highlights were picked entirely by hand and I feel stronger for it <3
