Is it just me or did Bethesda forget to make Starfield... fun?

#like yeah #there’s a lot to do #but is it FUN #are the characters INTERESTING? is thr dialogue bearable?#i LOVE the ifea of space exploration but. idk.#it's a lot of going into loading screens #then menus you havr to come back to again and again and the button optimization for this doesnt feel like it was as well thought out as it #shldve been #like if I'm constantly using this menu or that for things #id think itd be a little smoother to get to them? that's a dmall complaint but #loading screen menu different menu loading screen menu #just to travel #ive seen other people say it but #for a game so focused on the excitement of space exploration #you sure managed to put a damper on space exploration.#honestly this game seems to suffer from 'we have a HUGE map!!' 'but is it filled with fun things to explore and do?'#after putting more than a couple hours in. I'm gonna say no.#and i keep seeing people be like 'the most interesting stuff isnt the main quest it's in side quests!'#which would not be a first for bethesda #but still??? like. shouod thr main quest not be the MAIN source of intigue and decent storytelling??#like yeah dont skimp on effort for sidequests but shouldnt your MAIN QUEST be the driving force for the player????#so far it feels like a bunch of collection missions and fetch quests for thr MAIN STORY and. idk.#maybe it does get better but idk. i was more entertained and intrigued by Outer Worlds off the bat.

idk if this is strange to say but i wish there were more opportunities for like casual Acting bc that's like. a form of Play to me (pun not intended wee hee). Idk what happened to me that my shame and embarrassment gland got too huge but i Was in school plays as a kid and i enjoyed it. Nothing sounds more fun than having a contained space where u can be dramatic and say things in specific voices without it being Weird.

Dont say "get into ttrpgs" because its not the same i suck at improv and I'd be too embarrassed to really act bc i only have like 1 person in the whole world i wldnt be embarrassed to Act like that around. Too close. Need to fully move around a space.

i want to just be able to memorize lines/a script and deliver them in an appropriate setting without not making it bc i wasnt good enough for the role and cant sing well enough ykwim (as could be the case for trying to get into local theater). Does this make sense in any way❓❓ I was born to be a cartoon character everyone loves my weird funny exaggerated faces i need to be on a stage but i also need the escapism of pretending to be someone else and quite literally performing Feelings. Do u see my vision. I never outgrew imagining myself in music videos and its hindering my life. Does anyone wanna play dolls with me but we're the dolls.

dgmw I LOOOVE spiderverse and spiderverse miles is excellent but I also really enjoy how more down-to-earth the stakes are in ultimate spiderman (as down-to-earth as a superhero comic can get anyways) bc they really hammer in like. this is dangerous. this is life threatening stuff. he's terrified of being spiderman bc peter parker died being spiderman and now he has to fill the gap. and even as he grows into the role he loses and sacrifices so much just to do so and the stress and grief breaks him. and Ohhhh it's so good man. Ultimate spiderman I miss you every day of my goddamn life
