Hi!! How are you doing?
Can I request Spencer sitting on the couch with a pile of bows and hair ties in his lap, messing with reader hair, while reader is sitting on the floor, laughing at Spencer's antics? I find it so cute and love your writing. Tysm!!
abstract hairstyling | spencer reid x reader

a/n: hi! tysm<3 i hope you enjoy this drabble, sorry it’s a little short:) reblogs n comments appreciated! i will be getting around to more requests!!
spencer sat on the couch, a pile of colorful bows and hair ties spilling over his lap. his brow was furrowed in concentration, his tongue peeking out slightly as he carefully tried to braid your hair. you sat cross-legged on the floor in front of him, your back to the couch, shoulders shaking with laughter.
"hold still," spencer chided playfully, his fingers tangling in your hair as he attempted to secure a bow. "i think i’m getting the hang of it now."
how did this unexpected scene come to play out? you had been babysitting your niece, jane, at your apartment, surrounded by a sea of toys and hair accessories. your sister had come by to pick her up shortly after spencer got home, but you couldn’t care to clean up the mess of plastic and ribbons she left all over your sitting room floor.
you turned your head slightly to catch a glimpse of his serious expression, stifling another giggle. "are you sure about that? because it feels like you're building a bird's nest back there."
spencer's lips curved into a grin. "hey, it's a very artistic bird's nest. i like to think of it as abstract hairstyling."
you laughed harder, your sides beginning to ache from the sheer joy of the moment. your boyfriend’s genuine effort and his endearing determination made your heart swell with affection. he was always so serious, so meticulous in his work, and seeing him let loose, his playful side shining through, was a treasure.
as he fumbled with another hair tie, you felt the gentle tugging ease, replaced by the soft sensation of his fingers running through your hair. "you know," spencer said, his voice thoughtful, "i never realized how relaxing this could be. it’s like chess, but with hair."
you leaned back slightly, your head resting against his knees, looking up at him. "i’m glad you’re enjoying yourself. and I’m glad we have plenty of hair ties, because i think you might need the practice."
he chuckled, leaning down to press a quick kiss to your forehead. "thanks for being my willing participant. and for not judging my hairstyling skills too harshly."
you smiled up at him, warmth spreading through you. "anytime, baby. anytime."
“now you mustn’t distract me- i’m about to create a masterpiece on top of your head.”
with that, he went back to work, his fingers weaving through your hair, sticking pieces up at the sides and adding numerous bows as he pleased.
once he was satisfied with his work, spencer passed you a small mirror so you could gaze upon his creation. your locks were messily combed upwards, with a dozen or so hair clips ans bows pressed snugly into your scalp.
you turned back to spencer, a proud smile resting on his features.
“wow i look so…” you trailed off with a small smile on your features.
“perfect? beautiful? honestly i’ve never wanted you more.” he replied, earning a chuckle from you. he quickly pulled you into his arms, forgetting about the pile of bows and ribbons, peppering your face with sweet kisses.
“i love you”
“i love you more”

Braiding Together ~ Legolas x Reader
A/N: Heyyy :) I'm fine and you?? I love it omg I really am a big fan of the little hobbits and I just want to hug them close and never let go 😔😔 I hope you have a nice day as well and enjoy the story <3 (I'm so sorry that it is like a lil short and that it kinda is bad djsifeh)
⇢ ˗ˏˋWarnings: fluff ࿐ྂ ⇢ ˗ˏˋWords: 910 ࿐ྂ ⇢ ˗ˏˋRequest: Yes (thank you <33) ࿐ྂ ⇢ ˗ˏˋMeleth Nin ~ My Love ࿐ྂ
Summary: You have always received compliments for your cute braids, so you decided to offer the hobbits to braid their hair. However, Legolas really doesn't understand, why you would do that.
Tumblr media
You laughed softly at one of Pippins jokes, as he sat in front of you. Fingers nimbly combing through his wild hair. The hobbits have complimented your braids so so many times, so you decided to offer to braid each of their hair. All of them nodding in agreement and sitting down around you, almost building a wall, and waiting for their turn patiently. “Say (Y/N), do you redo your hair every day? Or do you keep some braids in more than just a day?” Pippin asked you, while his gaze was focused on the fire in front of him. “It depends. Sometimes my braids open up a little during the day, so I redo them the next morning. The only braids I never redo myself, are the ones Legolas does.” You said, while weaving the small strands of Pippins hair into a braid.
“Are they important to you?” Sam asked, as he intently watched your fingers. A small blush dusted your cheeks, as you thought about the night Legolas first braided your hair. You sat at a bonfire, much like this one, as he suddenly turned towards you and asked you if it would be okay to braid your hair. You remember being very surprised and overwhelmed, but in the end, you gave him your approval. Since then, it has been an almost daily occurrence for the both of you, to sit down somewhere secluded and start braiding each other’s hair. “Yes, they are very important to me.” You answer Sam with a gentle smile. Finishing the braid, you give Pippin your small pocket mirror, so he can take a look at the neat braid you have done. He turned around with a bright smile, until his eyes focused onto the something behind you. He quickly stood up, thanked you for the braid and left you alone with the others. Turning around confused, you raised an eyebrow as you spotted the elven prince. A scowl was present on his face.
“Meleth Nin, what are you doing?” He asked while looking at the three remaining hobbits around you. “I am braiding their hair.” Gesturing Sam to take the space in front of you, Legolas decided to join you on the log. “But… why are you braiding their hair?” Your eyebrows scrunched together at his question. “Well, they always compliment my braids and I thought I could braid their hair too. Plus, they look so adorable with their new hairstyles.” A hum left his lips, as he watched you brush through Sams hair gently. You felt the elven princes gaze on your fingers, as you parted the hair into the sections you needed. Taking a quick glance into his direction, you notice a confused expression on his face.
“My love, are you alright?” You asked, stopping your task at hand and turning a little towards him. He let out a little sigh. “I just am confused as to why you are braiding their hair. Elves tend to only braid their own hair or the hair of the person they court.” A gentle smile adored your lips, as you let go of Sams hair. “I apologize my love, I didn’t know. I just wanted to do it because they always look at me so sweetly when I do mine and so I wanted to offer them to braid their hair.” Legolas nodded understandingly, moving a little closer towards you. “You did this row wrong.” He pointed at the mistake you have made. “And this one just looks like a mess.” He pointed at another strand you have just finished. Rolling your eyes at him, you opened the braid again.
“Well, Mr. I-Can-Do-It-Better, how should I braid his hair?” A chuckle left Legolas’ lips, as he took your hands in his. “First off, you will start with this hand.” He shakes your right hand softly. “And with that hand you will grab a good amount of hair. Not too much though.” Guiding your right hand back to Sams head, you take a chunk of his hair. Apparently though, you had a little bit too much between your fingers, hence Legolas began to shake your hand once more. “Now you will part it into two sections and use your left hand...” He began to now shake your other hand. “…to pull a small strand from the right strand and pull it over it and under the left strand.” Your eyebrows scrunched together in confusion, trying to understand what he meant. He guided your hand around with his, until you finished a few rows together. A soft ‘ahh’ escaped your lips, as you finally understood the braid you were working on together with the elven prince. The both of you quickly finished the hairstyle and handed Sam your small mirror.
“Thank you so much (Y/N) and Legolas.” He said, before leaving you with Frodo and Merry. The struggle of brushing and braiding passed quickly, as you both finished off the last remaining two hobbits. A smile formed on your lips, as you watched each of them flaunter their new hairstyles. Legolas put his arm around your waist, pulling you to his side. Leaning towards him, you gave him a peck on the cheek. “Thank you for helping me my love.” “Of course, anything for you Meleth Nin.” Laying your head onto his shoulder, you both continued to watch the hobbits like proud parents, as they still sauntered around with cute little braids in their hair.

Gojo
This was the first time Gojo had ever dated a black girl. He wasn't familiar with it so when you asked him to come over while you did your hair he obliged.
"Y/N!! I'm here!!" He said as he scrambled into your apartment. He had also brought you some food.
"I'm in my room,Toru!" You yelled back.
Gojo walked into your room and set the bag down. Before turning to you, a startled expression etched his face.
"Your hair?!" He yelled in shock.
"What...about it?" You asked confused.
"It's falling out?! Why didn't you tell me?! Did that hair stylist you go to mess up your hair?!" He asked genuinely shocked and worried as he picked up the hair that did not know was weave from your braids.
"Toru! Calm downn it's not my hair" you laugh.
"Huh..?" He asked shocked.
You spent the next hour explaining how your hair is done as you also showed him how to take out your braids.
Nanami
Nanami was very well educated in your hair. I mean he paid for it how couldn't he. But he's never seen you taken it off until today.
"Ughh this stupid ass hair." You groan.
"What's wrong my love?" He asked rubbing your thigh.
"It's not cooperating.." you whine.
"Oh I'm sorry my l-" before Nanami could finish his sentence the words "fuck this." Left you mouth.
He watched as you took off your lace front in one quick swift motion. He tried to hide the expression on his face as you ripped it off. He's never seen you take off the wig nor take out braids so this was a first for him. He watched at you threw the now separate wig away from you on the end of the bed.
You look at him and begin to laugh.
"Did that scare ya, Nami?" You giggle.
"What...no...no love.." he said looking away.
Getou
Getou and you had just started dating and you'd invited him over. He knocked on the door and you unlocked it using the security website you had linked to your door. He opened the door and walked in. He saw a little hair on the floor and picked it up in shock.
"Y/N? are you okay?!" He asked loudly.
"Yeaa!! I'm in the living room!" You yelled back.
He came into the room and looked shocked.
"Your hair..?" He asked confused.
"Oh? Yea I hadda take it out!" You said untwisting your hair.
"Take it out?" He said tilting his head like a confused puppy.
"Suguru...sweetie did you think this was my real hair" you asked lightly.
"Yes..?" He said, kind of red.
You laughed as you had to explain what you did every time you went to your friend Nene's house with with a new hairstyle.
Toji
Toji decided to pay you and unexpected visit (he wanted to eat your food). He walked in the house with a hum as he saw hair in the trash..? He looked at the trash confused he picked the hair up with 2 fingers holding it away from him in confusion. He put it back in the trash bought a snack and went into your room to see you taking out your goddess braids. His mouth hung open.
"Uh...Y/N" He said.
"Hii toji!" You said tossing the hair into the bag you had.
"Hair...? Where..? Why..? Uhh" He said.
"I'm taking it out Toji, no I'm not balding, that was never my real hair, I told you this, and my hair isn't this short it's shrinkage which means my curls are so tight my hair looks shorter." You said quickly.
"Ohhhh, you know I'd still fuck you if you were bald-headed" He said with a grin.
"Gee thank you, baby." You said sarcasm lacing your voice.
Choso
Choso had fallen asleep when he woke up to you taking out your hair. He shrieked and it was almost... girl-like.
"Your hair!!" He yelled.
"Baby...it's my weave..You've seen my natural hair." You said gently.
"Oh yea...well..uh..that was scary still I thought your hair was falling out from when I fed you that tracking device" he said.
"YOU WHAT-"
Sukuna
Sukuna had walked into the bathroom to use it while you did your hair.
"What the fuck." He said eyes wide.
"Hmm..? I'm taking off my hair." You said.
"Humans can just peel...their hair off like skin to reveal a new layer...?" He asked confused.
"WHAT?" You ask.
"The hair.." he said about the wig you had just took off.
"Sukuna...no...no..that's no..oh my God what am I gonna do wit you" you laugh.

pìwopx part 2
Tumblr media
pìwopx [pɪ.ˈwop’] n. cloud
Anonymous Request: Please could you do part two for the neteyam x ninat daughter? I'mm craving for them, maybe you could add some conflict in their love journey or anything you wanna do?
Part 1
When we began planning the day, it was going to be a small ceremony. A blessing from Tsahik between our families, a small meal, and Neteyam and I would enjoy an evening alone.
As the planning went on, things got larger, and larger, and larger, until I didn't even know what all the day entailed.
My mother insisted the entire clan be there for the ceremony, and we agreed, because we were to lead these people. Then Neteyam's mother insisted on dancing and music, to let the people celebrate. Of course, then we would need food, and more formal attire, specific hairstyles, and before we knew it, it was becoming an all day affair and I was feeling very overwhelmed.
My mother, Ninat, enjoyed the spotlight, and she had all her life. Neytiri and Jake didn't shy away from it either, as our clan's leaders. Neteyam didn't really seem that upset by the plans either, especially since the extent of his plans were to simply show up.
I was petrified. Everyone would be looking at me, watching me pledge my love for Neteyam, and while I was proud to serve the people, I did not want them witnessing something so private.
"What do you plan to sing?" my mother asked me one day, as Neytiri ran her fingers through my hair, considering how she might braid it for the special day.
"Sing?" I asked.
"Of course, you will sing."
"No," I replied. "I don't think so."
Mom rolled her eyes at me. "You will choose, or I will choose for you."
Tears pricked at the back of my eyes, and before I could make a scene, I excused myself. The mothers huffed, but returned to discussing the ceremony as I left them behind.
My body slammed right into another as I exited the alcove, and I looked up to see Neteyam.
"Sorry," I said, wiping the tears from my eyes, but it was too late - he had seen.
"Y/N," he said quietly, grabbing my arm. "What's wrong?"
I took his hand in mine, and pulled him away, down home tree and into the woods, as quick as my feet could carry me without running.
When we were away from prying eyes and ears, I finally stopped. "Can we walk to the meadow?" I asked.
"The one where Kiri gets her flowers?"
I nodded, barely holding it together, and Neteyam smiled softly and nodded in return.
"Anything you need, my love, just tell me what's going on."
"On the way," I said with a sincere smile, and we set off.
--
As we walked, I finally told Neteyam everything I had been feeling, how overwhelmed I was, how much more the simple ceremony appealed to me.
"I just want it to be about us. I feel..." I stopped. It was so hard to put into words what I was feeling. Since the moment Neteyam had asked me to be his mate, and I had agreed, we'd had almost no time together. I still felt a little shy, even if I was sure of how I felt.
"I love you," Neteyam said. "I will say it first, as I should. I love you and I want this day to be about us, and only us."
A weight rolled off my shoulders, and as it did, we entered the meadow. "I love you too, Neteyam. I mourn the years we wasted, and I don't want to waste anymore."
We turned to each other, and he smiled at me, ear to ear.
"I have an idea." His grin turned devilish, and I leaned forward, listening intently.
--
Three days later, Neytiri was braiding my hair intricately, weaving flowers through it, in a design that I knew would be beautiful. Kiri was placing paint on my face, chest and arms, and soon, I would be ready.
"You seem relaxed," Kiri said, and I just shrugged and smiled.
A short time later, Neteyam and I stood before the Tsahik, and the entire clan, and promised ourselves to each other, eternally. The people cheered and clapped, celebrating the union of the next Olo'eykton.
There was dancing, and singing, and enough food to go around. The celebration raged on late into the night, and Neteyam and I enjoyed every moment of it.
He pulled me close during a dance, whisking me away from everyone else, and whispered in my ear. "You look happy, my darling."
I smiled and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. "I have a secret. We have a secret."
We shared a smile as we snuck away from the crowd, hand in hand, to the tree of souls. Three nights ago, Neteyam and I had mated before Ewya in the same meadow where I had realized I would surely fall in love with him.
Today was just ceremony. It was for everyone else, not for us. The meadow was for us. Quiet simplicity and love was for us.
And it always would be.

The Good, The Bad, & The Chocolate  With; James Potter (ATJ)
Tumblr media
A/N: Hello again! Another James imagine. This man has a chokehold on me, and I’m not mad about it. This doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, but I’m thinking of making another part to it. We’ll see. Enjoy!
TW: Descriptions of period pain, suggestive humor (Not really proofread yet)
Summary: James goes looking for his good luck charm, and finds her day isn’t going nearly as well as his.
Tumblr media
James Potter believes he is having one of the grandest days in his life. For no particular reason. In fact, it’s a collection of minuit happenings that has him so cheeky.
Theres a bold, crimson ‘A’ stamped onto his configurations assignment, one most of his classmates hadn’t done nearly as well on. His favorite breakfast was featured in the grand hall this morning. And he’s got some of the best friends a Hogwarts student could ask for. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and classes have just let out. Leaving the entirety of the afternoon and evening to soak in the beautiful spring weather. Quidditch season.
Speaking of, the renowned chaser was Gryffindor’s leading man in their win yesterday. Yet another reason to bounce along the bright halls.
**********
“You, darling, are most definitely my good luck charm.” You roll your eyes, fondness full in your features as you let James play with the red and gold ribbons braided into your hair. Marlene insisted on the new hairstyle, spending most of the morning pulling your strands into refined weaving. You feel pretty, and James can tell. He absolutely adores it.
“I believe it’s a game of skill, and not luck, Potter.” His eyes narrow at your opposition, the moon to his sun, he regards it. He strokes your cheek, swiping the pessimism away.
“I’d beg to differ. I play better when I know you’re in the stands.” The prick says it not only because it’s true, but because he knows it’ll make you blush.
“Oi, Potter! Are we playing quidditch or flirting with our girlfriends?” James waves off one of his teammates from the sidelines, pressing a kiss to your lips in a steadfast farewell.
“Stay by the boys, yeah? You look too pretty for me not being around.” There’s a peck on your cheek, but you barely register it, absolutely flustered. James straightens his padded shoulders as he walks away, most definitely aware of his effect on you. Bastard.
**********
It’s a quick walk to the girl’s dormitory, James humming all the way. He catches Marlene’s attention as she exits your shared room.
“Marl’s, let me in?”
“Miss her already, Prongs?”
“It’s an obsession, I know.” He smiles from ear to ear, and your best friend does all she can not to gag. She looks to him, the door, and him again. Seeming unsure. James frowns.
“What’s the matter?”
“Just not...Entirely sure she’s up for visitors.” He quirks his head, concern written all over his face. Marlene waves her wand anyway, granting permission to the charm that blocks boys from entering the girls’ corridor. He mumbles a distracted ‘thanks’ before going inside.
You believe you’re having one of the worst days of your life. For no particular reason. In fact, it’s a collection of minuit happenings that has you so miserable.
There’s an incessant, stabbing pain in your lower abdomen. And a dull throbbing at the back of your head that’s lasted all day. You’ve been bleeding heavier than usual, and it’s already costed you a 5am trip to the laundry. A stack of assignments taunts you from the desk across the room, but you haven’t managed to get out of bed since you’ve applied the new sheets. Your heating pad broke last night, and left you groaning in pain and sleepless. On top of it all, you feel awfully deprecating. A common symptom of your menstruation.
“Dove, where are you?” James sounds scared, Marlene must have warned him. You’d just managed to wave your doting friend off, seeking to wallow by yourself. There’s a short knock at your door before he lets himself in, not waiting for permission out of anxiousness. When his eyes find you, safe in bed, a wave of relief consumes him.
“Hello, lovely. Where you been all day?” James only has transfigurations and astronomy with you, and they don’t fall on Wednesdays, and therefore is unaware you’ve skipped today’s classes. This period has been especially harsh, so you’ve allowed yourself a day of rest, after your roommate’s stern insistence.
“Here.” It comes out froggy, croaked with lack of use besides soft whimpers of pain. James crawls on top your bed, brows furrowed with innocent confusion. He looks so pretty, all the time. Even when he shouldn’t, bruised and filthy after a game, a grueling practice, or even when he’s sick. James Potter always looks effortlessly gorgeous, envy consumes you.
“Everything alright? Are you not feeling well?” He lets some of his weight rest on top of you, craving affection. Regretting it immediately when you suck your teeth and push against his broad shoulders. He practically reels back, horrified he’s harmed you.
“Just cramps, I’m fine.” He pouts, and you fight the urge to kiss him despite your misery.
“You’re not fine.” He asserts, brushing a stray hair from your forehead. The rest of it is still in braids from yesterday, loosened and a tad frizzy. You still look beautiful as ever. He’s guilty at the thought, reminded of your discomfort when a sudden wince crosses your face. “Shark week, then. No fun at all.” You look about ready to kill him, half-heartedly rubbing away the apologetic kisses he presses across your face.
“I’m sorry, lovely. Not funny, I know.”
“You’re a meanie.”
“Am not!” The corners of his hazel eyes crinkle at the banter, pressing another kiss to your neck because he can’t help himself. “Have you eaten today?” It’s incredulous, already unbelieving. You turn away from him, huffing a sigh.
“Y/n.” It feels odd to have your name on his lips, usually substituted for an array of other endearments. You only silently shake your head in answer, having been nauseated most of the day.
“Haven’t been hungry, honest.” James knows you become particularly self conscious on your period, though you’ve never outwardly admitted it.
“Well you have to eat, darling. Your body needs it, especially this week.” You grumble, fairly irritated. “Maybe I can grab something easy from the hall. Soup, maybe. Or some of that pasta you love-”
“I’m not hungry James, I want to be left alone.” It’s harsh, laced with an uncharacteristic venom. All the light leaves your boyfriends face, and you swear you feel your heart break in two.
“Oh, alright. I’m sorry, darling. I’ll come back later to check on you, then.” He backs off your mattress, trying not to look as defeated as he feels. He barely makes it three steps toward the door before tears are streaming down your face.
“No, James. Please, don’t leave. I don’t know why I said that. I’m so sorry.” Your voice cracks, wracked with pitiful sniffles you can’t control. He’s back on you in seconds, vehemently relived yet concerned.
“Dove, it’s alright. I know you meant no harm. You’re in pain, it’s okay.” He pulls you into his lap, entirely unsure of how to handle this sudden mood change.
“Stop being so nice. I was just so rude to you and all you’re doing is trying to help.” You wipe at your eyes with his sweater you’re wearing to no use, the warm tears keep falling. He shushes you, rubbing circles into your back because it usually helps. Honestly, he’s having difficulty navigating all of this. The same hand goes under your (his) sweater, aiming for your lower stomach in hopes the warmth will ease the pain. You jolt, unexpecting of the contact on your bare skin.
“Hey, hey. What’s up with the jumpscare?” Admittedly, the heat from his calloused hand feels great. So you allow it despite the stream of judgemental thoughts rush through you.
You shake your head. “I’m just sorry. I feel crazy.”
“Stop that, lovely. I know you’re not crazy, don’t be mean. Crazy about me, maybe. I’d understand that.” You whine at his teasing, pushing your face into the conjunction of his neck and shoulder.
“Stop teasing, I’m vulnerable.”
“I’m sorry, I can’t help it.” He sounds less than sincere, you can feel the prick grinning as he speaks against the shell of your ear. You heat even more, groaning. There’s a few beats of silence, and he can’t help but feel like you’re holding off on him.
“What’s on your mind?” You cringe, hoping he wouldn’t have read into the quiet.
“I haven’t been able to bring myself to do any of my assignments. And Sirius is throwing a party Friday night and I promised I’d help. It’s supposed to be fun, too. There’s your game Saturday, then HogsMeade Sunday. I have to get it all done in the next two days or else I’ll have no time.” He pulls the hands apart that are picking at your nails, an anxious habit of yours he’s been trying to break.
“We’ll get them done, lovely. I can help.” You hiccup into his shirt, overwhelmed with the kindness of his heart. He pulls his arm tighter around you. There’s quiet again, and James finally stops biting his tongue.
“Have I told you you’re beautiful yet?” You pull your head back, facing him with fond confusion. Potter has a tendency to read people, especially you. An annoying tendency, really. You bite anyway.
“You always do.” You run a hand through his hair, biting back a tired smile when he hums with eyes closed in content. You’re trying to distract him.
“But do I say it enough,” he licks his lips, hesitant. “Do you believe it? Because I’d hate to have you being mean to my girlfriend, I’m quite fond of her.”
“James.” It’s a warning
“I mean, you should see her. She’s got these beautiful eyes, the longest lashes-”
“James.” It’s a plead.
“Her hair too. Looks effortlessly perfect, you know? I quite like her lips as well. And Merlin, that body is just to die for-”
“James Potter!” You strike his chest, both all smiles as he clutches your wrist. Bringing your knuckles to his lips in half-hearted apology. “You’re impossible.”
“I’m lucky. I’ve got the prettiest girl at Hogwarts wrapped around my finger.” It earns him another smack, and he’s not even sorry. You’re attacked with sloppy kisses, yelping the entire time. James is on cloud nine, more than happy to keep kissing you if it means he’ll keep hearing that laugh. He only stops when something short of a whine passes your lips, another shooting pain pulling your brows together. Potter looks like he’s genuinely experiencing it with you, snaking his hand just below the waistband of your joggers. Scrunching his nose in satisfaction when you hum.
“Better?” You only nod, pressing your smaller hand over his. You tilt your head up to kiss him, emanating all the gratitude you can’t seem to find words to express into it. James can’t help but grin as his free hand goes to hold your jaw in place, gladly accepting any affections you’ll grant him. He pulls away for only a moment, lips puffy as he  sits back on his knees and bends at the waist. Coming to face the lower part of your abdomen. “You leave her be, you hear?” It’s so ridiculous and endearing you can only giggle and pull him up to kiss you again.
There’s a soft knock at the door, and a growl sounds from the back of Potter’s throat. Wanting to curse out whoever’s audacious enough to pull your attention away from him. “Ignore it and they’ll go away.” He fights against the hands that press against his chest, unwilling to share.
“Y/n, darling. I thought you’d like some chocolates. You weren’t in potions today and Mary said you’d skipped.” James groans even louder, face falling into your neck in defeat. Another, much less gentle voice rings out from behind the door.
“We know you’re in there too, Prongs. You two decent? Cover the appendages, we’re coming in!” Sirius bursts through, pushing past the taller, sandy-haired boy in the doorway and making a bee-line to you. James is practically fuming when he’s shoved off of you.
“You leave my best girl be, you dog. She’s not feeling well and you’re attempting to defile her!” You’re beaming at the sight of them, watching as Remus waves a container of soup and a bag of his chocolates to you before setting them on your dresser.
“Fuck off, Pads. You’re the dog, literally.” James crosses his arms, pouting like a child now that he’s sharing the spotlight. Corners of his lips upturning when your laugh sounds at his wit.
“How’d you know I wasn’t feeling well?” Sirius stokes your hair, having a glaring match with your boyfriend as Remus cocks his head.
“Well it’s cramps, isn’t it?” He steals one of your chocolates, swallowing before he elaborates. “Its on my calendar.” James whips his head toward him at that.
“You have my girlfriends period marked on your calendar?”
“You don’t?” Remus looks to you with a ‘he’s hopeless’ not noticing your own shock.
“Is that what those red hearts are scattered around each month?” Moony shakes his head, rolling his eyes as if this is the most obvious thing in the world.
“Y/n’s the green hearts, Prongs. Keep up. The rest of the girls are the other colors. Seriously, you two need to start paying more attention.” He can only shake his head at the boys, tossing you a foil-wrapped sweet.
“I think I’m the most spoiled girl in school.” The pair offers you a cheeky smile at this, and James only reciprocates when you nudge him with a socked foot. Craving individual acknowledgment.
“We’ll leave you to it, then. Y/n, rest up. Party’s on Friday, we’re getting wasted on behalf of all women.” Sirius presses a kiss to the crown of your head, “keep your hands off, Prongs.” The raven haired boy sticks his tongue out and avoids the chasers swinging arm with ease.
“Feel better, love. And eat, please. Not just the candy.” Remus points a stern finger in your direction, ruffling James’ hair on his way out.
“They’re insufferable.”
“They’re sweet.”
“I’m sweet, they’re menaces.” James reaches for the chocolate in your grasp, feigning offense when you clutch it to your chest.
“When your uterus is attacking you, you can have some candy.”
“I happen to know that uterus very well, and she thinks it should be shared.”
“James!”

Navigating Hair Extensions: Types, Benefits, and Maintenance Tips
Introduction:
Hair extensions offer a fantastic way to change your look instantly, whether you’re aiming for added length, volume, or a splash of color. However, choosing the right type of extensions and maintaining them properly is crucial for achieving the best results. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of hair extensions, including their types, benefits, and essential maintenance tips.
Section 1: Types of Hair Extensions
Clip-In Extensions: These are temporary extensions that clip onto your natural hair. They’re ideal for adding length or volume on a short-term basis. Clip-ins are easy to apply and remove, making them perfect for special occasions or occasional use.
Tape-In Extensions: Tape-in extensions are semi-permanent and involve sandwiching your natural hair between two strips of adhesive tape. They are less damaging than some other types and can last for several weeks with proper care.
Bonded Extensions: Bonded extensions use a keratin-based adhesive to attach the extensions to your natural hair. They can last several months but require a professional to apply and remove them. They are ideal for those looking for a long-term solution.
Micro-Link Extensions: These extensions are attached using small metal beads or links. Your natural hair is threaded through the bead, and the bead is then crimped to secure the extension. Micro-links are reusable and can last for several months with proper maintenance.
Sew-In Extensions: Also known as weaves, sew-in extensions are applied by braiding your natural hair into cornrows and sewing the extensions onto the braids. They’re a good option for those with thick hair and can last for several weeks.
Section 2: Benefits of Hair Extensions
Instant Length and Volume: Hair extensions are a quick way to achieve longer and fuller hair without waiting for it to grow. They provide immediate results and can transform your look in minutes.
Versatility: Extensions allow you to experiment with different lengths, colors, and textures without permanently altering your natural hair. This versatility makes them perfect for changing up your style for different occasions.
Enhances Hairstyling: Extensions can add volume and thickness, making it easier to create various hairstyles. They’re particularly useful for achieving intricate updos and voluminous curls.
Confidence Boost: Many people find that extensions enhance their confidence by allowing them to achieve their desired look and feel more glamorous.
Section 3: Maintenance Tips for Hair Extensions
Gentle Washing: Use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to gently cleanse your extensions. Avoid washing your hair too frequently to prevent dryness and ensure the longevity of the extensions.
Avoid Heat Damage: Limit the use of heat styling tools on your extensions. When you do use them, apply a heat protectant to prevent damage.
Regular Brushing: Use a wide-tooth comb or a brush specifically designed for extensions to detangle your hair. Brush your extensions gently to prevent breakage and maintain their natural look.
Professional Adjustments: Schedule regular appointments with your stylist for adjustments and maintenance. This includes repositioning extensions as your natural hair grows and ensuring that the extensions are still securely attached.
Proper Removal: Have your extensions removed by a professional to avoid damage to your natural hair. Proper removal ensures that your natural hair remains healthy and intact.
Section 4: Choosing the Right Extensions for Your Needs
Consult a Professional: Always consult with a professional stylist to determine the best type of extensions for your hair type and desired outcome. They can provide personalized recommendations and ensure a proper fit.
Quality Matters: Invest in high-quality extensions made from real hair or premium synthetic fibers. Higher-quality extensions tend to look more natural and last longer.
Consider Your Lifestyle: Choose extensions that fit your lifestyle and maintenance preferences. For example, if you lead an active lifestyle, opt for secure and low-maintenance options.
Conclusion: Hair extensions offer a versatile and transformative solution for achieving your desired look. By understanding the different types of extensions, their benefits, and proper maintenance techniques, you can make informed choices and enjoy beautiful, long-lasting results.

But if you're new to the tinsel game, you might be wondering, "Where do I even begin?"
Fear not, fellow beauty adventurers! This comprehensive guide will be your roadmap to adding hair tinsel with ease. From choosing the perfect strands to mastering the application, we'll cover everything you need to know to achieve a mane that shimmers and shines.
The Allure of Hair Tinsel:
From Fairy Dreams to Festival Flourish
Forget elaborate styling tools and time-consuming salon visits. tinsel in hair offers a quick and glamorous transformation, perfect for adding a touch of sparkle to any occasion. Whether you're channelling your inner festival goddess, embracing a whimsical fairy vibe, or simply adding a touch of playful flair to your daily routine, tinsel is your versatile secret weapon.
A Kaleidoscope of Colour and Shine
But hair tinsel is more than just trendy. It's a dazzling canvas for self-expression! Dive into a rainbow of vibrant hues, from classic gold and silver to eye-catching pinks, blues, and purples. Don't be afraid to mix and match colours or opt for ombré effects for a truly unique look.
A Boon for All Hair Types
No matter your hair texture or length, hair tinsel has a place in your life. Thin strands add shimmering highlights to fine hair, while thicker tinsel lends volume and dimension to thicker locks. Even short hair can rock the tinsel trend with strategically placed strands or a playful crown braid.
Diving into the Tinsel Toolbox:
Choosing the Perfect Sparkle
Now, let's delve into the wonderful world of Tudkun Women hair tinsel selections! Your first step is deciding on the type of tinsel that best suits your style and hair type. Here are some popular options:
Flat tinsel: This classic variety offers a vibrant shine and comes in a wide range of colors. Ideal for beginners, its flat profile makes it easy to weave into your hair.
Holographic tinsel: For an extra-dimensional shimmer, go holographic! This eye-catching option reflects light beautifully, creating a multi-faceted sparkle.
Curly tinsel: Add playful texture and volume with curly tinsel. Perfect for braids or loose waves, it injects a fun, whimsical vibe into your hairstyle.
Fibre optic tinsel: Shine brighter than the sun with fibre optic tinsel! This high-tech option glows under blacklight, making you the queen of the dance floor.
Finding Your Colour Match
Choosing the right colour of hair tinsel is all about personal preference. Think about your overall look and choose shades that complement your hair colour and outfit. For a subtle touch, opt for tinsel that matches your natural highlights or strands slightly darker than your base color. If you're feeling bold, don't hesitate to experiment with contrasting colours or vibrant rainbow blends.
Nano Rings: Your Tiny Tinsel Allies
Tiny but mighty, nano rings are the key to securing your hair tinsel and ensuring it stays put all day long. These small silicone rings are gentle on your hair and practically invisible, allowing the strands to cascade beautifully over your mane.
Pre-Tinseled Dreams: The Easy Route
Don't you have the time or patience to add tinsel strand by strand? No worries! Pre-tinseled hair extensions offer a convenient alternative. Simply clip or braid these extensions into your hair for an instant dose of sparkle. Perfect for beginners or those short on time, they're a great way to embrace the tinsel trend without the fuss.
From Apprehension to Application
Mastering the Art of Tinseling
So, you've chosen your tinsel and gathered your tools. Now comes the fun part: the application! Don't fret; we'll break down the process into manageable steps so you can add your shimmering strands with confidence.
Essential Tools for Sparkle Success
Before you dive in, make sure you have these essentials on hand:
Hair tinsel of your choice (flat, curly, holographic, etc.)
Nano rings (size appropriate for your hair thickness)
Pliers for securing nanorings
Comb or brush for separating hair sections
Optional: Clips or barrettes for sectioning hair
Step-by-Step Sparkle Guide:
Prepare Your Mane:
Start by detangling your hair thoroughly. This ensures seamless weaving and prevents snags or breakage. For thicker hair, section it off with clips or barrettes for easier application.
Weaving Wonders:
Now, the fun begins! Choose a small section of hair (around the size of a pencil) and separate it. Using your fingers or a crochet hook, create a small loop near the root. Slide a nanoring onto the loop.
Tinsel Time:
Take a strand of hair tinsel and fold it in half to create a doubled-up end. Carefully thread this folded end through the open nanoring. Gently pull on the tinsel and hair strands to secure the ring close to your scalp.
Securing the spark:
Use your pliers to clamp down on the nano ring, creating a tight, secure closure. Repeat steps 2–4, adding tinsel strands throughout your chosen sections. Remember, you can customise the density of the tinsel based on your desired level of sparkle.
Finishing Touches:
Once you've added your desired amount of tinsel, gently brush or comb through your hair to blend the strands seamlessly. For an extra touch of flair, braid your hair, incorporating the tinsel for a dazzling braided crown or whimsical side braid.
Tinsel Care Tips for Lasting Shine:
Now that your mane is shimmering with hair tinsel, let's ensure it stays that way! Here are some tips for preserving your sparkling strands:
Gentle Washing: When washing your hair, be gentle and avoid shampooing directly on the tinsel. Opt for a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner to prevent fading.
Braid Up for Bed: To prevent tangles and matting while you sleep, braid your hair loosely before hitting the hay.
Heat with Caution: Minimise heat styling tools like blow dryers or straighteners on your tinsel. If you must use heat, apply a heat-protectant spray beforehand.
Brush with Care: When brushing your hair, be gentle and avoid tugging on the tinsel strands. Start from the ends and work your way up to prevent pulling or breakage.
Beyond the Braid: Styling with Tinsel
Hair tinsel is more than just an add-on for braids! Explore these versatile styling options:
Half-up Hairstyle: Add a touch of shimmer to a half-up or half-down hairstyle by weaving tinsel into the top sections.
Ponytail Sparkle: Elevate your ponytail with strategically placed tinsel strands. This creates a cascading effect that is both playful and elegant.
Bohemian Bun: Weave tinsel into a messy bun for a boho-chic vibe. Experiment with different colours and textures for a unique twist on this classic hairstyle.
Tinsel Crown: Create a shimmering halo by braiding thin sections of hair with tinsel and pinning them around your head like a crown.
Unleash Your Inner Trendsetter:

Bump Hair Weaves: The Ultimate Guide
If you are looking for a quick and easy way to change your hairstyle, bump hair weaves might be the perfect option for you. Bump hair weaves are pre-bumped human hair extensions that can be attached to your natural hair using glue, clips, or sew-in methods. They come in different lengths, colours, and styles, so you can create various looks with them. Here are some tips and tricks on how to use bump hair weaves to achieve your desired look.
What are the benefits of bump hair weaves?
Bump hair weaves have several advantages over other types of hair extensions. Some of them are:
They are made of 100% human hair, which means they can be styled with heat tools, such as curling irons or flat irons, without damaging them.
They are pre-bumped, which means they have a natural curve at the ends that adds volume and bounce to your hair.
They are easy to install and remove, as they do not require any special tools or skills. You can do it yourself at home or go to a salon for a professional service.
They are affordable and versatile, as they come in different lengths, colors, and styles. You can mix and match them to create different looks for different occasions.
How to choose the right bump hair weave for you?
Before you buy a bump hair weave, you need to consider some factors that will affect your final result. Some of them are:
Your natural hair texture and colour: You want to choose a bump hair weave that matches your natural hair texture and colour as closely as possible. This will make the blending process easier and more seamless. If you want to change your hair colour, you can also dye or bleach the bump hair weave before installing it, but make sure you follow the instructions carefully and use quality products.
Your desired length and style: You want to choose a bump hair weave that suits your personal preference and face shape. You can go for a short and chic bob, a medium-length layered cut, or a long and glamorous style. You can also choose between straight, wavy, or curly textures, depending on the look you want to achieve. Your budget and availability: You want to choose a bump hair weave that fits your budget and is available in your area. You can shop online or in local beauty supply stores for bump hair weaves. Some popular brands are Sensationnel Bump Collection, Outre Velvet Bump, and Wetsy 27 Pieces Weaving Bump Hair.
How to install bump hair weaves?
There are three main methods of installing bump hair weaves: glue-in, clip-in, and sew-in. Each method has its pros and cons, so you need to choose the one that works best for you. Here are some general steps on how to install bump hair weaves using each method:
Glue-in method:
Wash and dry your natural hair thoroughly.
Part your hair horizontally from ear to ear at the nape of your neck.
Apply some glue along the weft of the bump hair weave and press it firmly onto your natural hair near the roots.
Repeat the process until you reach the top of your head, leaving some space for your natural hair to cover the tracks.
Cut and style the bump hair weave as desired.
Clip-in method:
Wash and dry your natural hair thoroughly.
Part your hair horizontally from ear to ear at the nape of your neck.
Attach some clips along the weft of the bump hair weave using a needle and thread.
Clip the bump hair weave onto your natural hair near the roots.
Repeat the process until you reach the top of your head, leaving some space for your natural hair to cover the tracks.
Cut and style the bump hair weave as desired.
Sew-in method:
Wash and dry your natural hair thoroughly.
Braid your natural hair into cornrows from front to back, leaving some hair out at the front for blending.
Sew the weft of the bump hair weave onto the cornrows using a needle and thread, starting from the nape of your neck and working your way up.
Cut and style the bump hair weave as desired.
How to care for bump hair weaves?
Bump hair weaves are made of human hair, so they need proper care and maintenance to keep them looking good and lasting long. Here are some tips on how to care for bump hair weaves:
Wash them gently with mild shampoo and conditioner once a week or as needed. Avoid rubbing or twisting them too much, as this can cause tangling and shedding.
Dry them naturally or use a blow dryer on low heat setting. Avoid using high heat tools on them, as this can damage them and reduce their lifespan.
Comb them gently with a wide-tooth comb or a paddle brush, starting from the ends and working your way up. Avoid pulling or tugging them too hard, as this can cause breakage and shedding.
Store them in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. You can also use a hair net or a silk scarf to protect them from dust and dirt.
Bump hair weaves are a great way to change your hairstyle in a matter of minutes. They are easy to use, affordable, and versatile. With proper care and maintenance, they can last for a long time and give you a natural and beautiful look.
Conclusion
Bump hair weaves are a great option for anyone who wants to add some volume, texture, and style to their hair. They are easy to install, maintain, and remove, and they come in a variety of colours and lengths. Let’s say England has a long-term girlfriend he knows isn’t the biggest fan of marriage bc her family had been really really pushy (before she got the heck out of dodge) about her marrying + reproducing ASAP. How might he react if she came to him and said she was kinda starting to like the general concept of marrying him — that is, the whole ‘together forever’ bit. Thanks!
I confess darling that I have been trying to finish this prompt for well over a year, and I offer my sincerest apologies that it’s taken me this long to finish it. Still, despite my tardiness, I hope you enjoy, and I thank you for your patience with me.
Tumblr media
You had never intended to fall in love, not with the constant push of your relatives to fall in line like a perfect child.
First, marriage to someone they deemed acceptable, raising the perfect 2.5 children, followed by quietly settling into parenthood and complaisant contentment until the day you last drew breath.
Truth of the matter was, you had avoided all chances of romance for the first few years after you moved away from home, carefully slipping away from anyone who seemed remotely interested in you.
You knew your folks would have disproved such behaviour had they learnt the truth, but you couldn’t find it in your heart to care. You had your own dreams to pursue, your own story to tell, your own life to live; you didn't need someone by your side to feel complete.
You were happy as you were, finding enjoyment in your work and figuring out your place in the world.
You didn’t need, or frankly want, anything more than that.
That was of course until you met him.
Falling in love with Arthur Kirkland had been a complete accident. He slipped past all of your defenses and took up residence in your heart as if he had always belonged there.
It started out slow enough; at first you simply knew him as a familiar face from the cafe in Waterstones, steaming cup of Darjeeling and a chocolate croissant sitting forgotten on the table in front of him, always too focused on his reading to pay any attention to the outside world. After one particularly crowded Sunday afternoon, he began to transition into your favorite dining companion, the two of you often taking turns paying for each other’s food. Slowly but surely, you began forgetting about your books, too wrapped up in conversation, and before you knew it-
You had come to love every part of him- the gentleman that you begrudgingly introduced to your parents, the rebellious and passionate activist, the cocky and playful little shit who had long ago memorised all the best ways to disarm you, and the ancient soul who cared so deeply, who still stretched himself thin most days in effort to protect each of his loved ones.
You fell in love with his voice, whispering sonnets and sonatas and sweet nothings in your ear while his arms cradled you from behind.
You fell in love with his eyes, still losing your footing sometimes when the light caught them just right, dreaming momentarily of summer forests and grassy glades and the misty dews of spring.
You fell in love with his smiles, from the satisfied grin at stirring up Peter’s ire to the breathless wonder each time you kissed or complimented him, to the bright, beautiful, blinding smile he wore when he was incandescently happy, his entire countenance iridescent from his joy.
You loved him completely- for his devotion, for his sweet gestures, for his damned impishness, for his wit, his sass, and the soft spoken affection.
You loved him: for his patience, for his recklessness, for his resilience, for his possessive pride that was somehow more charming than alarming.
He was unique, an enigma that, even after having lived together for years and dating even longer, kept you on your toes, his energy and random spouts of spontaneity proving to you that, even if you spent one hundred lifetimes with him, he would always remain a puzzle you would never fully solve.
And by God did you want to.
Arthur had stolen your heart away from you before you had even noticed he was close enough to take it, offering his own in its stead.
You had remained reluctant, confided in him your fears about settling down, how much you dreaded becoming trapped in a monotonous rut of tedium. He was quick to reassure you, showing through words and actions far more impassioned and teasing than he had ever shown prior, that an eternity with him could never be boring.
Even on quiet days, like today, with a steady drizzle painting the world in greys, Arthur humming quietly while adding another patch to his denim vest, and no other disturbance apart from the cat’s chittering at the robins playing in a puddle by the iron fence- Even now, you weren’t so much bored as you were pensive.
You had been thinking about a future with him a lot in the past few days, some irrelevant ad on your mobile about wedding venues catching your attention and slithering into the back of your mind.
What kind of wedding would he like? Would Arthur prefer something small and intimate, or would his hubris crave a larger venue, giving him yet another chance to prove to the world that he belonged at your side, no one else?  You couldn’t help but wonder if he would wear his uniform or a suit, if he would leave the rats' nest he called a hairstyle untouched, or if he would perhaps slick it back in that way that somehow made the normal rakishness disappear, a confident, refined cavalier standing in his place.
You knew of course that none of this mattered unless you actually talked to him first; as far as you were aware, he was content with the current arrangement, and he respected your views of marriage.
He had known, for a long time, just where the grim outlook stemmed from, and he never breached the subject again.
But now-
You had thought it was enough to hold his love, his faith, his vulnerabilities. But life was so fleeting, and now those few things were no longer enough.
You wanted to wake up every morning next to him, wanted the cheesy partners’ towel and flip flop sets. You wanted the physical reminder that you held his heart, the comforting reminder that he completely possessed your own. You wanted to be by his side forever, holding his hand through the good and the ill, facing new worlds and challenges and the uncertain future together.
You knew the risks, of course.
Marriage to a Nation carried an even heavier burden than the simple oath of “till death do us part.”
No, marrying Arthur would mean weaving your entire lives together, binding you on a spiritual level far surpassing mortality; it would mean sacrificing your chance to ever grow old, to eternally give yourself away: heart, mind, body, and soul.
But this was Arthur, who sang showtunes in the shower, who spent hours making silly faces at the cat, who was ridiculously competitive about Halloween costumes, the man who sat down and memorised the entirety of The Tempest in one night just for the bragging rights.
He already owned your heart, constantly invaded your thoughts and daydreams, and God knew he had long, long ago claimed your body, making certain not a single millimeter of his new territory went unexplored.
Would it really be so bad to give him your soul, too?
Glancing back up, seeing his eyes narrowed in concentration, his fingers handling the needle with expert precision, lips slightly parted, reading glasses fallen halfway down his nose-
You knew your answer.
It was always going to be Arthur for you, only Arthur.
Forever, should he have you.
But now you faced the challenge of telling him that.
It should be simple enough; you really held no more secrets from him, and he no longer bothered trying to hide anything from you. You loved how open you were with one another, cherished the honesty that served as the very foundation to your relationship.
But the truth was that you were terrified.
It had been so long since either of you had spoken of marriage, since the topic was even a thought in your minds, and-
What if he didn't want you anymore?
What if he-
"I can see the steam coming outta your ears."
The unexpected presence of Arthur's voice startled you, eyes darting back over to the very man who was unwittingly tormenting you.
He had barely moved from his earlier position, though his glasses had been pushed up into his hair and he was studying you curiously, if not bemusedly.
"You good there?"
By default, you nearly responded with an affirmative, some playful, lighthearted thing that would have dismissed his concern immediately. You cut yourself off mid-start, then, while shifting to sit properly in the armchair, you decided to push forward. "Can we talk?"
You watched as his expression shifted, revealing his concern as he tied off his thread, setting aside the patchwork and gestured for you to join him on the sofa.
There were a few awkward moments where you took up your favourite positions, Arthur tossing an afghan across the pair of you despite your insistence that you didn't need one, the flicker of a grin as you begrudgingly thanked him, and then shifting around as you both got comfortable, but soon enough-
"Alright, now; talketh at-eth me."
It was impossible to fight the smile his choice of words triggered, a reference to an inside joke so old now that you could scarcely recall its origin. Seeming to deem it a success, his own soft, reassuring smile greeted you.
"Seriously though, luv-" His hand came to rest atop your own, his fingers gently tapping a familiar rhythm against your skin. "What's troubling you?"
You were half-tempted to offer something short of sincerity, something innocuous and mundane that you could both laugh over and forget again within a few hours. Yet, you knew that if you didn't tell him now, didn't ask him now, you would never find the courage again.
"I've been thinking-"
"Ah. A scary premise in its own right."
"Oh, shut up," you retorted to his tease, smacking his arm for his troubles. He rewarded you with a grin, all fondness and mischief. Opting to ignore him, you pressed on, eyes downcast to avoid whatever judgement he may offer.
"As I was trying to say earlier, before I was so rudely interrupted-" The teasing fell off, and the worry crept back in. "I've been thinking. About us."
"O-oh?"
Were you not so consumed by your own anxieties, you would have noticed his stutter, would have seen the sudden tension in his posture, the fear in his eyes. As it was, you were completely oblivious to all of it, and made yourself continue at his prompting.
"I- I think I'm ready."
He mimed the word "ready" to himself, parroting it with utter befuddlement. "For wha-"
"I mean, I know I wasn't for such a long time, and-" Suddenly, you were off, half unhinged. Now that you had admitted the truth aloud, it was all rushing out of you, everything you had come to love about him, everything that-
A finger pressing firmly against your lips stopped you mid-tangent, and when you glanced up to find piercing, blazing emerald focused on you as if you were the very center of the universe, whatever remained of your ramblings disappeared entirely.
"What are you trying to say?"
A simple question, so easy to answer, yet it carried with it the weight of Infinities, demanding nothing save the truth, in its most basic state.
You were lost in his gravity, half-drowning in whatever this new feeling was. It was addicting, another riddle to be solved.
"Marry me."
Time stood still, the words weighing heavily in the space between you, now seemingly insurmountable despite being no more than mere decimeters.
Arthur showed no reaction, revealed no indication that he had even heard your plea, your query, your command, your request, and yet it echoed over and over in your own mind, the tone, the weight, the untimeliness-
Every facet- from your inflection to chosen tempo- crescandoed as an accusation, a mocking symphony that he would reject you, that you would be left with only the haunting strains of your ill-conceived proposal.
And yet-
There was a hesitation in his eyes, the face of a man who wanted wholeheartedly to believe what he had heard, but had been burned far too often in the past to dare allow himself hope.
"You-" His eyebrows furrowed, eyes narrowed as he studied you once more, only for the suspicion to disappear again almost immediately, disbelief swiftly taking its place. "You're serious?"
It was then that you finally read his nervousness, understood the strange emotion reflecting in his eyes.
You had lead him to a precipice, the vast Unknown before you both, and-
And he was just as fragile as you were, even if he was better at hiding it.
You gave his hand a light squeeze, hoping to ground you both, and offered him a nod. “If you’ll have me, anyway.”
His eyes flickered between your own, darting back-and-forth so quickly in search of a lie, of any doubts, of any hint that you were less than certain- yet you knew he would find none of that.
“What about your family?”
The question took you by surprise; in the moment, you had completely forgotten anyone else even existed.
You weighed his question carefully. Marrying Arthur would give your family leave to gloat in self-satisfaction, and you knew with absolutely certainty that they would hold it over your head for the next three decades. But looking into the eyes of the man before you, remembering all that you had already seen and done together, you found that others' opinions no longer mattered, really hadn't mattered in a long, long time.
“I couldn’t care less about them. Arth-”
Whatever you were going to say was forgotten as he closed the remaining distance between you, moving so swiftly that you scarcely had a moment to steady yourself before he captured you in a searing kiss, one of his most passionate by far.
Somehow, despite the suddenness of it all, the initial force, the intensity-
He was being incredibly gentle, and moving slowly enough to almost be more a torment than a treat. Almost.
You found yourself lost in a daze when he finally pulled away, just enough for each of you to catch your breaths, just far enough that he could study you with rapt attention. You could have drowned in his eyes, endless greens magnetizing in their intensity. His hands were still cradling your cheeks, still holding you firmly in place, a not completely foreign expression creasing his features.
You couldn't quite place it, even as your memories shifted desperately in search of its mate.
"'If I'd have you?'" His words, a rhetorical refrain of your own mere moments earlier, were scarcely a shared breath between you, murmured in timbre so low it summoned a shiver. There was the smallest twitch of his lip, his head tilting ever so slightly as more of that damned deviousness made its presence known. "I fully intend to have you regardless, luv. But the formality of it all certainly adds a particular je ne sais quoi, wouldn't you agree?"
You'd be damned if he knew just how that made your heart flutter, if he knew just how much weight that reassurance had lifted from your shoulders.
Carefree, content, you offered a playful smile. "Till death do us part then?"
Arthur no longer bothered trying to restrain his smile, soft and sincere in a way that left you breathless. "I'll love you till even the stars go cold, my dear."

Long Haired! S/O
Request: I love your stuff to much. its exactly what I'm in the mood for right now. whenever you feel up to taking request or something let me put this idea out for you if you like it: Any of the Turtles (Plus April but I'm mainly here for the turtles) with an S/O with long hair? Or maybe even the opposite way and an S/O with short hair. like I personally prefer the long hair option but I know someone out there would probably love to see the short hair option so that would be nice too.
either way you write them so well I'm sure it would be sweet.
A/N: Assuming that it’s straight hair, by the way! Although if people are interested, I’d love to do a curly-haired version as well <3
Characters: All! Separate, Non-Poly {Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, April O’Neil.)
Content Warnings: None!
Word Count: 1149
Raphael:
He loves your hair so much! It takes a lot of patience and dedication to grow your hair out that long!
He loves to braid your hair so much! He likes it when you sit in between his legs during movies so he can braid it.
He’s so gentle too: You can’t remember a single time where he’s tugged on it while brushing or braiding it. You’ve fallen asleep so many times while he plays with your hair.
He googles so many intricate designs to try out. Although, he usually defaults to a waterfall braid if he’s tired and there’s nothing in particular you want. He also likes to weave in flowers, if you’re not allergic to them!
He always has a bunch of hair ties on hand for you. (Most of them are in red!)
If you fight with them, he always makes sure your hair is tucked away and safe before engaging. Long hair is too easy to grab!
He loves to play with your hair while cuddling, especially. There’s something so calming about laying on his plastron while he runs his hands through your hair.
Bonus! He’s so fucking tall, that he’s actually exempt from being suffocated by your hair while spooning. Love wins <3
Leonardo
Low-key jealous </3 Just kidding, he loves it.
He loves to brush your hair, but he hits his fair share of tangles. Please teach him how to hold your hair properly.
He’s also one to look up cool braids to put in your hair! He takes a lot of inspiration from fantasy hair styles. (Specifically, he really wants to do the Legolas braids.)
He carries scrunchies in your pocket for you because he thinks they’re cute.
He doesn’t get that hair just falls out sometimes? He’s so confused and concerned when he finds a random strand of hair in his room. He thinks you’re dying, lmao.
He’d love to dye your hair someday! He’s instantly mind-boggled at how much time it actually takes, but he’s still super stoked anyways.
Absentmindedly plays with your hair during movie nights. He doesn’t even realize he’s doing it half the time, but it feels really nice.
He loves to pet your hair while cuddling. It’s so gentle and sweet, and it puts you to sleep really quickly.
Donatello
Oh, long hair? Cool. He thinks it’s impressive that you’ve managed to grow it out so long, and keep it healthy as well!
A lot of the sweet routines you form in regards to your hair actually takes a bit of time to develop! It’s something that certainly grows over time.
One of the first things is simple. He installs a little hook next to the entrance of his lab where he leaves a bunch of hair ties for you. (Always in purple, unless you ask for more colors.) He doesn’t want your hair to get damaged, or for you to get hurt, if there’s a stray spark in the lab. After a little while, he starts carrying some on his person as well.
He gets overstimulated really easily when it comes to texture, and having hair in his face while cuddling really hits all the checkboxes with that. But obviously, he’s not going to give up cuddling time, so what does he do? He starts braiding your hair before bed! And that’s when he finds out he really likes to play with your hair.
Every night before bed, he braids your hair. It’s a really sweet routine that you share with him. (And you get to listen to him talk about his day! Brothers, inventions, WOW lore, it could be anything really.)
When you’re watching something together, he’ll absentmindedly play with/pet your hair. After a while, he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it.
Michelangelo
TIME TO BUST OUT THE HAIRSTYLE MAGAZINE... HE’S BEEN WAITIN’ FOR THIS ONE
For real though, he loves long hair. (And short hair! He thinks it’s all super pretty…)
He’ll bust out the bobby pins, the hairspray, everything. People will literally ask you who does your hair, and your brain fucking fries trying to think of how to describe your non-human boyfriend in a human way. Halo braids, half-up bows, flower braids… he’ll do it all.
He’s a little rough at first, but he gets the hang of it pretty quickly. He’s not immune to the stray tangle, though.
He likes to carry bobby pins around for you, which is a contrast to the rest of his brothers! (Bangs are Hell, and you never know when you’ll need one! For your hair OR for breaking into someone’s house! <3) He also carries around little butterfly clips and stuff. If you ask he’ll start carrying ties around though <3 King.
Loves to screw around with your hair at the randomest of times. He loves to hold your cheeks when you kiss, and sometimes when you part he’ll lift up your hair a little and make silly monster noises. It’s so dumb but it makes you laugh so much.
He’d be so good at dyeing your hair, please let him!! He’s really patient, and his eye for color is great.
He loves to play with your hair while cuddling. He does a really specific thing where he’ll part your hair into a bunch of different sections before scooping them all back together and running his hands through it. It actually feels really nice on your end (and helps combat tangles), and it keeps his brain busy. You fall asleep super quick every time.
April O’Neil
Oooh, pretty!! She has super long hair herself, her’s is just really curly. So she has a lot of respect for long hair!
Loves to play with your hair during movies, if she’s the big spoon that night. She usually twists the strands around her fingers, or gently pets them. It’s really relaxing, and her touch is so gentle. You can’t count how many times you’ve fallen asleep like that.
She always has these really nice hair ties on hand, it’s great. Her hair ties are super stretchy and never snag, which is awesome. She has like, three on her wrist at any given point in time.
Loves to run her hands through your hair after kisses.
She’s never actually dyed her own hair, just because bleaching natural hair is such a process. (Plus, she does NOT want to deal with teasing from the boys during the early stages of bleaching. They would never let it go </3) However, she’s really good at dyeing hair once she gets into it! She’s meticulous, and there’s not a single strand left uncolored. Her hands are steady as she works, and it’s so calming. She has the best hair-dyeing playlists too. She always makes you laugh too, so sometimes a little dye will get on an un-vaselined patch of skin, but honestly? It’s just a cute reminder of her.
