Sweet Encounter was literally Mila's home away from home. The bakery was beautiful, always bustling and smelling of the sweetness that Mila could smell until the end of her days. She found herself spending so much of her time there, of course, and bringing Teddy in after her half days at school to sit, scribble and listen to music in the back. It felt so special to be able to bake with her daughter and show her what her mother was capable of - after all of the trauma she had been through. That particular day though was special, because Landon was going to meet up with them and there was no one Teddy or Mila loved more than Landon.

"Be careful, my love, don't touch just yet, okay? These need to cool off for Uncle Landon." With wide, fascinated eyes, Teddy nodded as she watched her mother pull out the fresh croissants for her brother. Is Uncle Landy coming soon, Mama? When is he coming? Teddy had been asking ever since she woke up this morning - in fact, it was her first question upon waking up. Mila was just as excited as she smiled, kissing her on the top of her head and smoothing out her curls. "Very soon, baby, he's on his way."

When Mila heard the door to Sweet Encounter open and she recognized that familiar face, she smiled, brightly. "Landon!" She exclaimed, but Teddy was first, her little legs going as fast as they could carry her to barrel right into her uncle. UNCLE LANDY! Mila giggled, adoringly watching her daughter with her brother - it was all she could've hoped for upon moving here to be close to him.

"Do I get my hug? Can it be my turn now, Teddy bear?" Mila laughed and went in to hug her brother, so tightly. "I'm so happy to see you, Landon." Her voice was choked up, as she let out a breath. "It's so good to see you, big brother."
