Silco headcanons

Hi! I loved writing this, hope you enjoy like always!!

-Silco sleeps like a dead animal, no pillow and in a straight line, there has been many times when someone (jinx) went to get him in the night and she thought he was dead.

-in the alternative universe, he gave powder all his old clothes, records and jewellery from when he was younger.

-Talking about when he was younger, silco loved painting and art in general, but after the fight with vander and as he got older, he had no time to do it then lost interest.

-One of the reasons he smokes is to distract him from the pain on his eye, sure shimmer helped, but sometimes no matter how much shimmer the man took- nothing helped, so he smoked to distract himself.

- For a while after the fight with who once was his best friend, silco had night terrors and would wake up feeling as if vanders hands were on his neck.

-Silco can dance really well, put a song on with a decent beat with no one watching after a bottle of wine then he’s good to go.

-Quite likes to write, If he has any spare time then it would go to reading a book or a poem of some sort.

-Silco isn’t the best cook, he can make simple meals like pasta, soup and toast, but most of the time he just snacks on fruit

- Most definitely a cat person, you know that cat in the first or second episode what singed out in the mouse tank? (I can’t remember which one it was) that was probably his.

-He deals with hangovers quite well, same with his alcohol, when he was younger, silco didn’t have that good of an alcohol tolerance but after time he built it up.

-Gets migraines a lot due to his eye, and they last for a good while.

-Despite his love for sea animals, silco hates the taste of fish, even though he grew up in the undercity what’s surrounded by water and food is very limited, the smell disgusts him.

-Felicia taught him how to braid hair, at first when jinx wanted plaits, he wanted to get sevika to do it but she refused, so he plaited her hair.

-Silco hasn’t really labeled his sexuality, but he’s definitely experimented with men more than once in his life.

-When he is drunk, silco just sleeps, he gets really tired and just collapses.

Alternate Universe’s Silco Headcanons!

Spoilers for Season 2!

-99% of the time, he’s trying to build schools, community kitchens and shelters for those without houses in the Underground.

-He genuinely wants his home to be better, much better than it was before.

-He hangs out with Vander, Benzo and the bar when he’s pressured into finally taking a break from helping others.

-He still uses underhanded tactics to get his way, bribing, blackmail, etc. He just does it for the goodness of the Underground not for personal power or control.

-He’s insecure about his eye, for some time, he would cover it up with his hair or cloth. He needed some time to forgive Vander for “betraying” him but forgave him when he realized how wrong he was.

-The Underground needs to start healing from the inside out, it wouldn’t be enough just to get rid of Plitover’s dominance over them.

-One of the first things that Vander and Silco teamed up on was making a filtered ventilation systems around the city so everyone can breathe fresh air. A luxury most people of his generation couldn’t afford.

-When they and their groups came together, prosperity could finally come true.

-He became a representative of the underground, he convinces the council through Vi’s death that the underground was just as much apart of Plitover as the overground was. It’s children shouldn’t have to die just to be able to bring food to the table!

-The PR nightmare that was Vi’s death in Plitover had the council worried about another uprising from the underground and general public unrest. With Mel on his side, Silco was able to convince the council to keep the bridge connecting them opened permanently.

-Plitover allowed underground businesses to operate in Plitover and became more active and involve in the underground’s education, economy, construction and maintenance. All Silco asked for was that him and Vander will be able to have a voice in what happens in the underground.

-Mel saw Silco’s intelligence and potential to sway influence in both the underground and Plitover and made him a member of the council. Vander could be his right hand man.

-Silco first went to Vander with the proposal but Vander rejected it. Vander grabbed Silco’s shoulders and told him that he trusts him and that Silco will make the right choice for the city. And that Vander is too busy taking care of the bar and his kids.

-Silco accepts and becomes the first representative of the Underground in Plitover.

-He finally stops covering up his scars. He wears his scars as a show of resilience of both him and the Underground.

Headcanons of silcos favourite sweets

He looks like the kinda guy to eat dark chocolate

He also probably likes stuff that tastes bitter

He also probably likes those grandma candies that you find at the bottom of your mom's purse or at the very last aisle of a dollar general

In my eyes, he doesn't really look like he enjoys sweets, BUT if jinx gave him any, you best believe he's eating that shit up!

What does your muse smell like? High-end tobacco, dark roast coffee, something chemically-sweet with a tang of acidity. The smell of rubbed leather and oiled wood clings to his coat about as much as the smell of cigar smoke does. A faint whiff of citrus clings to his vest, usually picked up by the wind.

What does your muse's hands feel like? The skin on the top of his hands is almost silken, thinning slowly with age. The palms and pads of his hands are lightly calloused from ages in the mines, and have never quite softened with his office work. His grip is deceptively strong, despite his size, and are covered in scars. Some from his days of learning how to wield a knife, others from times where he had to catch a knife with his hand in a fight. These are hands that know both softness and survival.

Does your muse have any bad habits or nervous ticks? Outside of the smoking and drinking, I assume? He chews ice when he needs to focus in his office; the cold drowns out any anxieties he's feeling and keeps him level, while the crunch gives him something to 'do' while he sifts through shipping manifests, inventory logs, and payroll ledgers. He isn't aware that he does this, but when he's reading long reports, he murmurs the words under his breath as he does so. Sevika loathes when he does this, but subconsciously it helps him tuck the information away, and keep track of where he's at in the report.

Is your muse affectionate? How so? Silco does show his affection in very subtle, specific ways. First, are acts of service; getting you meals if you forget to eat, bringing you a glass of your favorite drink without a word, putting on your favorite music if you're sitting in his office and working away. He also gives very small touches, depending on how close he is to you; to the back of the wrist, a small kiss to the forehead/top of the head/temple, or a light touch to the waist from behind. Nothing overbearing or blatant, just subtle brushes of contact to know he's there.

What position does your muse sleep in? On his right side or on his back.

Could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room? If he wants you to? Absolutely. Usually he's light footed, thanks to all those heists when he and Vander were younger. On top of his exile from the Lanes, nine times out of ten, Silco knows where everyone is before they know he's there-- especially in unfamiliar environments, where he's hyper-vigilant.

Oh I TOTALLY HC Young!Silco as a little slut. I mean, LOOK AT HIM. He was gettin' it. He was generally the quiet one (unless it involved politics/revolution - then you couldn't shut him up), but put a few drinks in that boy and watch out.

Or he's the one smoking his cigarette, off in the corner, eyeing someone, and thinking "yup, I'm fucking that person tonight"

This is my personal headcanon as I know a lot of people ship silco and vander

But I personally prefer the comedy of him being a slut in his youth

I think it'd be like Felicia Vander and Silco were friends growing up, and he became like a little self-destructive

And so you get that friend trio of those two being a little concerned about him but he's thriving in the club

Kinda like how in friends Joey is a slut but they all go like that's Joey and move on

i have a such a soft spot for complex villains, they could never make me hate silco <33 also sorry for not updating much recently, it was my lovely boyfriend's birthday over the weekend and we were out of the city! but here are some mushy silco headcanons.

⟿ he is often incredibly busy, resulting in you both not seeing each other very often. while he was the provider for you both, you did enjoy doing odd jobs to entertain yourself. silco doesn't believe his lover should stress about finances and work, so you hide this from him. he already knows, he just likes to see you have your fun.

⟿ he's rather iffy with touch from most people, but from you, he craves it. whenever you're around, he cant keep his hands off you, his fingers ghosting your skin whenever he can.

⟿ artwork could not compare to your beauty. he had a painting made of you that he sits on his desk, and if anyone makes fun of it or makes a comment, he kills them. nobody is allowed to make fun of you except for him.

⟿ purposefully, he will piss you off. nothing that would actually upset you, but he finds your anger sexy, especially being on the receiving end of it. any fight you two could ever had would be immediately ended by him.

⟿ enjoys cigarettes, and shares them with you. his musky, smokey scent is one you're all too used to, and you often fall asleep on his chest while he's smoking.

⟿ silco is very emotional at times. he has regular breakdowns of anger and / or depression, and while these are never at you, he also never tells you what's going on. it's taken time, but he'll now often open up over a black coffee in the morning.

⟿ he often writes you poetry. during his alonetime, he spends the majority of it writing poetry, fiction or reading, and has now hand-created a leather notebook full of poetry written just for you.

⟿ he doesn't hide his nasty side from you. while it'll never be directed at you, he doesn't like to hide that side of himself. he wants you to know exactly who he is, and for you not to fear him. and you accept that. despite avoiding murder in front of you, or other violent actions, sometimes it happens and considering you'd grown up in the undercity, it wasn't something you weren't used to.

⟿ sleeps on his back. you have often woke up panicking thinking he's died in his sleep, but no. he just sleeps like he's in a coffin.

Arcane Au headcannons

Heyy!!! Okay so this includes most of the characters in the Au- and a bit of zaundads, but it isn’t quite romantic so you could just see it as them being close friends- sorry if it isn’t the best and that I havnt posted in a while, hope you enjoy!

Includes: Powder, Ekko, Mylo, Claggor, Gert, Cassandra (little bit), Vander, benzo and silco

-Mylo is closer to Silco than he is to vander. Silco was exactly what he needed with the ‘you don’t have to be born the strongest to be strong’ mindset.

-They all have a family game night, most the time it ends up with Benzo getting a bit frustrated and making up random rules with either Claggor or Powder winning.

-Vander and powder somewhat do matching hairstyles, for example when powder has those two buns, Vander had a man bun, they try to match but sometimes it is unintentional.

- It was clear Ekko had some sort of romantic feelings for powder, it was quite obvious, powder noticed this straight away and she made the first move.

- If Vander asks Silco to do something for him, Silco would agree to it, but she it comes to actually doing it, He would say something along the lines of “didn’t you try to drown me? Surely I get a pass” and then manage to get out of whatever he needed to do.

- Powder is great friends with gert and tries everyday to get Mylo and Gert closer together.

-After vi passed and the undercity became zaun and an equal to piltover, Silco and Cassandra became friends, they both was interested in each others way of thinking and leading things.

Claggor tries to do boxing sometimes, but the hobby and fighting people reminds him of Vi too much.

-Ekko and powder like to add a bit of eachother into their outfits, for example powder has an E on her belt, or Ekko had a P charm on his tie, it’s just a small gesture that they love doing for eachother.

- Powder, Ekko, Mylo and claggor all did a drinking competition once when no older adults were around, it ended up in claggor panicking, powder half asleep on the floor mumbling nonsense, Mylo trying to get another cup and Ekko stumbling around trying not to puke.

- talking about competitions, Vander, Silco and benzo all play darts together, Vander is utterly useless at darts and it always annoys him that benzo wins every time, silco doesn’t care that much though.

- In the au, there’s still those photos and candles on the Zaun side of the bridge, Felicia and connel have a photo on it and benzo, silco and vander all go to it regularly, out of the three silco visits it most out of guilt.

-Mylo and claggor are still as close as they was when the two was younger, but now they are a lot more open with eachother, despite Claggor relentless teasing about gert, it’s almost admirable how much of a brotherly bond they have, and despite not being blood related and not looking alike, they get mistaken for biological brothers a lot.

-Vander was the first old man out of the three Powder told when she first got with Ekko, despite everyone being able to tell from a mile away, and Vander was panicking slightly even though it was obviously Ekko as her boyfriend.

Apparently both in a recent panel and one of those post-finale DMs Amanda Overton did, Silco threw that molotov on the bridge because Benzo was being arrested. In fact when Silco said, "You never did know when to walk away", he was referring to that time.

Can I just say I would love a Zaun prequel series, because every new tidbit I learn about Silco and Vander's friend group is insanely toxic in a way I just bet the writers never intended. This new information is only funny for me because I always hc'ed that Benzo was a hater, and honestly the fact he took Vander's side after in light of all of this proves it to me.

I know ‘Ma Meilleure Ennemie’ is intended for Ekko & Jinx but boy did I wish there were a few background pixels of Vander and Silco during that scene since the lyrics speak so strongly to their relationship.

I mean…come on now:

There’s the explicit ‘Your past will follow you and wage war on you’ which is applicable to every character in this show. But the hereditary nature of Vander and Silco’s conflict which haunts the entirety of season ones narrative, reinforces the extent to how deeply routed their emotions were in this ideology and this commitment to Zaun and also to each other, until it wasn’t. Hence the doomed tragedy of it all.

The repeated blurring of lovers and enemies, and the line ‘why does your name hurt me when it hides right there in the vicinity?’ Does that not remind anyone else of when Vander was searching for Silco. And the paradox that was their ‘Vicinity’ where there was a physical distance between them yet they shared the mutual knowledge that they could always meet at The Last Drop if ever Silco wanted to contact Vander. Since that location was - emotionally - ground zero for them; ‘Blisters and Bedrock’, They were so close yet so far from one another during that time.

Somehow, whatever your interpretation, Alt universe Silco and Vander overcame those adversaries.

And since this song exists in-universe and is playing IN THEIR BAR, it means somebody added it to the bars playlist.

Do you think Silco would have liked Isha ?

Absolutely. She's a tenacious little thing with a strong mind and an even stronger will.

I'm not saying that he would be thrilled at first if Jinx came home with this little munchkin clinging to her leg. But I'm definitely saying that within a week or two he'd be acting like the dad who 'swore up and down he did not want a cat/dog' but can now frequently be found napping with said cat/dog/adopted kid curled up on his chest.
