A/N: rushed but i need some self indulgence fic bc tests hard, me braindead, need sleepy boy.

< Set in the Ghost Marriage event, though some of the storyline has been changed. Pre-established relationship >

Silver is a strange person. He’s a human raised by a fae, trained to be a knight for a lord who’s much older than him yet they go to the same school, and has to keep himself from sleeping most of the time. Even with his looks, it’s a surprise that he managed to get himself a partner. 

He isn’t in the same dorm as Silver, but they met after the knight accidentally slept on his shoulders at class. The first time it happened, (y/n) is concerned if he’s okay or not. Though after sitting next to eachother for other classes, he ended up getting used to the weight on his shoulder.

A bond formed when they end up talking to one another often, whether it’ll be for their interests or school-related. It felt natural that their friendship would bloom into something more. And bloom it did. 

Silver values his boyfriend close to how he value Lord Malleus and his family. His partner doesn’t mind if he ends up sleeping mid-conversation, he lets Silver sleep on his lap most of the time. Silver felt like the luckiest man in the world to be able to call (y/n) his boyfriend. 

Which is why he’s not pleased with this particular situation...

(y/n) didn’t agree on becoming a suitor for Eliza, though came along anyway as he’s curious what’ll happen. When all of her suitors have been slapped in rejection, Eliza suddenly pointed at him.

“You...!” 

He thought she was pointing at someone else nearby. Though when he pointed at himself in question, Eliza nodded, “...me?” 

Hearts seems to have formed in her eyes as she instantly bolted right to (y/n), wrapping her arm around him. “...are more perfect for me to wed!”

Everyone burst into a loud “Hah?!”

Eliza swiped a tear from her eye, the question of ghosts having tears in the first place becoming a question of its own. “A charming smile, a handsome face, lips that makes me want to kiss you. Yes, I’ll be your bride....!”

(y/n) stuttered for a moment, not being able to comprehend what’s happening. “w-wait, I’m not your suitor. I already have a--”

Eliza shushed (y/n) with her finger, “don’t worry, hubby. I’ll save you from your loveless marriage!” She seems to emphasized the word ‘loveless’.

Feeling offended, (y/n) defended his perfectly healthy relationship with the sleepy boy. “It’s not loveless! I’m sorry, but I don't want to marry--” he’s once again cut off by Eliza’s enthusiasm.

“Come now! Let’s start preparing our wedding!” she exclaimed in pure excitement, dragging (y/n) along with her. (y/n)’s body couldn’t move, he wanted to protest, and maybe run away to Diasomnia to look for his partner. 

“Tell Silver I didn’t have a right in this, I swear I still love him...!” the doors shut behind Eliza and her ‘fiancé’, leaving the NRC students in silence.

“So...” Yuu started, “who’s going to tell Silver?”

Everyone turned their head towards the prefect, who sighed tiredly. Sadly the prefect is used to doing the chores around this school...

That's the story on why Silver is currently standing besides Lord Malleus with an unreadable expression. Since Lilia and Sebek were slapped and taken to Eliza's marriage, he's the last person to guard Malleus; meaning he couldn't save (y/n) from the forced marriage.

Even with Silver's calm nature, he felt bitter at the word 'marriage'. He knows that (y/n) wouldn't leave him for the Ghost Bride, but his boyfriend being in constant danger as marrying Eliza means death? He doesn't like it at all, Silver not being able to do anything either makes him more uneasy.

It's been awhile since Yuu and Crowley announced (y/n)'s unconsented engagement. Though every minute passing feels like a year.

Even Malleus took notice how his guard is different than usual, "don't be so stubborn. I don't need protection, go and save your lover."

"(y/n) is strong enough to handle it without me," ah yes, 'coping' as Lilia calls it; a term used a lot these days. He wants to go to Eliza and take (y/n) back into his arms, but fate says otherwise since it would mean leaving Lord Malleus without a guard.

He just needed to believe in (y/n); he's strong, he’s capable. As incapable Crowley might seem, he should've been able to make a plan to save him.

It's all going to be alrig--

The door to Diasomnia opened, revealing (y/n) sweating and panting heavily. He's wearing a black tuxedo, hair styled as if a professional had done it. Unfortunately the fancy attire is messy, so is his hair.

"You... you won't believe the bullshit I just went through," he panted.

Though the loud voice of a certain guard can be heard shortly after. "Human...! How dare you say such foul words in front of the Young Lord!" Sebek scolded (y/n), it's almost magical how he doesn't feel tired from running. 

Silver sighed in relief. The confirmation that his dearest is safe bringing him comfort. Though he did have to see and hear Sebek scolding his boyfriend for the 26th time.

“...then she ends up marrying one of her subordinates,” (y/n) recounted everything that happened today. Silver sleeping comfortably on his lap, eyes already closed even if he’s not done with the story.

(y/n) couldn’t help but smile as Silver slept comfortably. As calm as Silver is, he couldn’t help but wonder if he panicked when (y/n) was taken by Eliza. The boy’s hand found itself in Silver’s white locks; combing through the soft hair. 

After Sebek’s scolding about ‘foul languages’, (y/n) and his partner find themselves in Silver’s room; resting after the events that just ended. 

It surprised him when Silver suddenly caught his hand, though the guard doesn’t seem awake yet since all he did is lean against (y/n) closer whilst holding his arm close. 

(y/n) felt like his heart is about to explode, even the simplest actions from Silver could make the poor boy so flustered.

wanted to pop by and ask if you have any particular song you associate with claude? i always find music to be such a fun and underappreciated 'element' of selfships if that makes any sense. it can really help express the mood/story/etc i think, plus its just fun to have songs that remind you of your f/os (or ones that will remind you f/o of you!)

i only ask because in my mind THE most iconic thing you've ever drawn was the sleeping beauty frame redraws, they really stuck with me since i was such a disney kid, and i'm unsure if you're familiar with the musical artist pogo, but he makes a lot of remixes of disney movies; they bring a nice little nostalgic comfort to me, and in some weird way i've made the connection between that feeling, your redraws, and then by extension your ships all just because of a silly little disney drawing, so seeing your art and ships are always such a nice feeling<3

hi i heard it was bias loving hours and even though you know that i bias yoshinori and that i scream about him everyday and whatnot, it's still bias loving hours and so im here to rant about him again </3

gosh where do i even start oml my favourite thing about yoshi is his heart ;-; or soul ;-; he is just so kind and softhearted and so so just so kind have i mentioned how kind he is?? ;-; he has such a safe and comforting aura around him in everything he does ;-; the way he talks, the way he smiles, the way he interacts with the people around him, the way he— MY POINT IS!! he just radiates safety ;-; to me at least he does like?? i have never seen someone who's like him?? he seems like such a wonderful and nice person and ;-;-;-;-;-; he is just so kind oml his kindness is like,, one of my absolute favourite things about him ;-; he is just very precious to me :')

the first time i saw him, i ADORED him ;-; it was his verse in i love you and the talent??? the way he jumped right in after ruto?? legend? things istg i was so mindblown and felt so drawn to him oml then i started to watch t-map and watched treasure box ;-; seeing his character and personality just made me fall so damn in love with his existence?? like, normally i like idk grow tiny crushes on my biases but yoshi just feels entirely different ;-; i just want to see him happy, healthy, loved, and thriving ;-; like i just want him to live a nice life ;-; and like, feel as happy and content as he makes me feel ;-; fr i discovered treasure and yoshi when i was struggling with my mental health and??? i cannot believe he kept me afloat like that oml i just adore him as a person so much ;-;

umm where do i start!!!! he’s been my ult bias for like… almost 3 years now and every single day he makes it a little bit easier for me to exist u know? he came into my life just before a lot of really bad things happened and just after a bunch of other stuff had happened… and he’s really taught me a lot? and through him (and exo) i met my best friend and i’m just eternally grateful to him :( he’s so kind, hard working, sweet, funny… there’s so many words to describe him but at the same times he’s indescribable? he’s truly an incredible person and i feel so honoured and blessed to have him in my life even just like this. he really does inspire me to work hard and do better for myself like… thinking about everything he’s gone through and how he’s still so humble, respectful, and kindhearted… if i was even 0.00001% like him i just know i would be able to do anything? he makes me laugh and smile effortlessly i remember the first interview i watched of exo it was a song for you and the moment the camera panned to him and he was kinda shy but smiling so brightly it was like something went CLICK in my heart and ever since then well . y’all have seen that i’m up his ass dwijnesdkjnds ahhh i adore him :( i really do love him so much and tbh? i rly would not be here today if it wasn’t for him… i’m hesitant to say that he saved my life, bc i don’t think anyone rly has the power to do that i’m not rly sure about saying that about someone either it feels like a lot of pressure idk?… but i would say he has given me the courage to save myself i guess? so many times he has. i can be at a point where it’s just… easier to make it stop but i remember him and he kinda pulls me away from it? i mean i still have rly bad days and a lot of things to work through but u know… like knowing he’s out there achieving his dreams and being the person that he is… makes me want to better myself and try. i have so much love in my heart for that boy and i can’t wait to see what the future holds for him or what my future now holds for me, bc i never could imagine even a small glimmer of a future for myself before he came into my life.

ohmygosh okay this was so fucking great??? like all of these songs fit almost perfectly if not perfectly for everyone???  Like okay I love Imagine Dragons so having that song for Gladdy I was like BITCH HELL YEAH.  For Prompto’s I almost started crying like bb yES YOU ARE LOVED.  Ignis’s and Ardyn’s songs were so badass I loved them??? Luna’s song was so hauntingly beautiful and like while there was nothing particularly haunting about Luna the song still fits so well omg like it kinda makes you remember like shit this woman’s the ORACLE she’s POWERFUL AF FEAR HER.  Regis’s would be a great track for inspo for a fic that delves into his thoughts and whatnot when he sends Noctis away/during the fall of Insomnia (i wish Regis’s character was given more a little more detail and shit idk rip).  Cor’s actually made me really emotional too I’m ??!!!!?  His is more hauntingly badass compared to Luna’s hauntingly beautiful.  Ohmygod I actually love the ending of Cor’s song too I just got to it (I’m like live blogging the playlist lmao) but yeah shit I got chills.  Battlefield is another hauntingly beautiful song I love it so far but like also I’m getting sad but like it’s a good kinda painful sadness.
