【Part I】our old team of church friends children's wedding party then we're meet together again
It's a pity and misfortune because my foot (n leg) injury has not healed, so I can't go down to the Miscanthus (silvergrass) Flower Sea. I can only sit on the shore to wait friends walked back and enjoy the breeze not bad too. ღ˘⌣˘ღ Lan~*

Nothing you love is lost. Not really. Things, people—they always go away, sooner or later. You can't hold them, any more than you can hold moonlight. But if they've touched you, if they're inside you, then they're still yours. The only things you ever really have are the ones you hold inside your heart.

💠💙The silvergrass rests and the moon is like frost
By:Anonymous
Summary:
It had been an unconscious retaliation, he thinks, at being unwillingly engaged without his wishes being taken into consideration to a mischievous boy intent on being the antithesis to all the rules and conduct Lan Wangji abided by.
Back then, before the war, before the burning of Gusu Lan, before the massacre of Yunmeng Jiang, Wei Wuxian was an enigma Lan Wangji refused to understand.
‘After the war,’ Lan Wangji thinks to himself in the battlefield, sending a silent promise to Wei Wuxian in place of a spoken apology. ‘If we were to win, if- when our Sects have achieved the peace we’ve all fought for, you and I will start over.’
But after the fall of Qishan Wen, Wei Wuxian makes a choice borne from all the years he spent believing Lan Wangji hated him.
Lan Wangji can’t let him go.
--
Or: in which the long path to redemption is not the one Lan Wangji chooses to take.
Chapter:4/5
Words:20,211
Status:ongoing
(DARK LAN WANGJI)
Wei Wuxian had spared to look into Lan Wangji’s horrified eyes so he can smile at him with that small, sad smile -so beautiful, so excruciating in its sincerity- Lan Wangji knew. He knew. His Wei Ying had no intention to survive the destruction of the Stygian Tiger Amulet.
~
Silent. Always silent. Silently admiring. Silently apologising. Silently loving. (But never silently condemning.) Lan Wangji vows Wei Wuxian will never doubt his place in Lan Wangji’s heart ever again.
~~~~~~~
Maybe in another time, in another life, Lan Wangji could have done things differently and his Wei Ying could have ended up viewing the possibility of ‘them’ in a different light. Maybe in another reality, he could have reigned those violent, vicious thoughts, could have given his Wei Ying the sweet, slow-burn of a tender romance he deserved and convinced him in a different way that he would have been enough just as he is. But Lan Wangji is a Lan first and foremost and the blood of his Fuqin running through his veins will always sing louder when it comes to matters of the heart, it seems. As Wei Wuxian continues to speak, a warmth in his eyes upon imagining a life that had no space for Lan Wangji, the Second Young Master of Lan decides- (Anything to make you stay.) His Wei Ying can’t leave him. (Anything and everything-) He will make sure of that
Saw a gorgeous mural the other day! The characters at the center say 西荻窪 Nishi Ogikubo. Which is the name of a neighborhood, not a person, though there are people with the surname 荻窪 Ogikubo.
西 means west, and it can also refer to Spain (old ateji: 西班牙; now スペイン). It's read にし, セイ, サイ, or ス.
荻 is a type of reed or rush (specifically, Amur silvergrass or Miscanthus sacchariflorus). It’s read おぎ or テキ.
窪 means to sink, cave in, depression (a physical indentation/sunken place), or to become hollow. It’s read くぼ (e.g. くぼ.む, くぼ.まる), ワ, or ア.
Ya’ll know how all the like “major” places of Ashina have generals or the one of the Seven Spears guarding the location but no one guards the Serpent Shrine.
What if, Genichiro was stationed there when he wasn’t out fighting or planning strategies. Because I’ve always found it weird how all these places have a General or some “big boi” to guard it but this place was empty. It felt like it was missing something even when Isshin moved there.
Genichiro could have seen it as very dangerous and gave himself the position to act as the guard as a necessity with the war. I’m pretty sure not many people of Ashina actually think the snake god is real but the people that live in the castle would know for certain it’s real as the closest anyone gets is the bridge and that’s why no one is stationed there because it isn’t safe with the snake and the gun fort ready to shoot even a leaf if it moved.
I strongly headcanon Tomoe loved that snake and showed Genichiro it when he was younger. Showing him there was no reason to be afraid of it as it’s job was being the protector of Ashina. And in memory of his mentor, he took to guarding the place she loved going to get away from the castle when it didn’t quite feel like home.
Also the silvergrass field deserves an honorable mention. Genichiro could also act as its guard as well, rotating between the places as both are quite far out of the way and he doesn’t want to risk his men.
