Duke and Duchess of Exeter Share Holiday Card and Announce Pregnancy
The first of several holiday cards from the Royal Family have been released, the first one coming from Prince Michael, the Duke of Exeter and his wife, Thalia, the Duchess of Exeter, taken a few days ago at Exeter Palace, the pair’s official residence.
The Duke wore a light tan suit with a blue tie, which he has worn multiple times before, while the Duchess chose a pink polka-dotted dress for the photo.
The couple wrote on Instagram: “Happy Holidays and Happy Solstice. We both look back on everything that this year has brought us and look forward for what next year will bring, particularly the arrival of our first child, due this coming summer. - M & T”
Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess and Happy Solistice!
Jardins Floraux de Willow Grâce - St. Valentine’s Day, 12:23pm
Amalia-Louise: I’m glad you guys made it back safely from Tartosa. It’s quite nice there this time of year.
Kaya: Oh, definitely. The beaches were everything you’ve described.
Michael: Kaya got quite the suntan while we were there. I think she might have gotten too accustomed to Aina Nui’s delightful weather during our honeymoon, and it stayed through our tour.
Amalia-Louise: To think it’s been a year since you two lovebirds got married. Ohh, what a day that was!
Michael: Jeez, Lou-Malise, you talk as if you were the one that got married.
*Amalia-Louise giggles*
Amalia-Louise: So, what is it you wanted to see me for? Is everything okay at home?
Kaya: Well, of course it is. Robbie and Elsie are ecstatic for some new additions to our little family.
Amalia-Louise: “New Additions?”
Michael: Of course, we’ll be adopting a couple of dogs for the kids, soon, and they’ll also have another person to play with.
Amalia-Louise: Mikey, you’re not very good at hinting things.
*Michael and Kaya laugh*
Kaya: Should we tell her?
Michael: I can’t keep anything from her. We might as well.
Kaya: Lou-Malise, Michael and I are... going to be having a baby.
Amalia-Louise: *Excitedly* Av seeren! En ny baby!
Amalia-Louise: Robbie and Elsie must really be ecstatic for a new baby sibling!
Kaya: They’re truly over the moon, right now! We’ve chosen to let them pick a name if they got the gender right.
Amalia-Louise: Ohh, I can’t wait to tell everyone else!
Michael: Hold it right there, ma petite sœur! That’s for Kaya and I to do.
Amalia: Oh, right! Désolée.
Not to beat a dead horse, but the naming conventions in the Magnus Archives are truly delightful. Jonny really said, “Here’s a cast of fascinating characters! Their names are:
My actual full legal name
The first names of my friends + the last names of famous horror writers
swear i wasn't even gonna do a valentine's edit this year until i saw these poses by @mangosimoothie so i'm sure you won't be mad at me for posting one three days late okay...?
Protocol is actually just us Magnus Archives fans rapidly descending into s2-Jon-levels of paranoia. Granted, just like s2 Jon, we have reason to be paranoid, but it's still hilarious to see us all collectively scaling the walls of our enclosure while frothing at the mouth over our theories.
Jonny and Alex are playing us like a cheap harmonica and I'm so here for it
Michael: Mom? Not that I’ve noticed. Besides, you know that Thalia and I are more focused on making preparations.
Charles: Do you know yet?
Michael: No, we’ll find out on the day. Why do you ask about Mom?
Charles: She’s been talking on the phone a lot to the same person.
Michael: Maybe it’s Aunt Sofia? Or Aunt Katherine? ‘Cause Diane is getting married soon, I’m sure that she’d want to talk to Mom about that.
Charles: I haven’t overheard Diane’s name come up in conversation enough to think it’s Aunt Katherine.
Michael: Aunt Claire?
Charles: Doubtful. I think she’s talking to a man.
Michael: Why do you say that?
Charles: I may or may not have been eavesdropping her conversations and overheard her talking about dates.
Michael: Maybe it’s an engagement to one of her patronages. You’re overthinking it.
Charles: Or maybe she’s seeing someone.
Michael: Charlie, if Mom was interested in seeing someone in a romantic kind of way, she’d let one of us know by now. You’ve been watching too many Lifetime movies.
Charles: What if she’s already told Ana but told Ana to keep it a secret?
Michael: Ana’s got enough on her plate already with the election drama that’s going on, plus Kris and Cece. I doubt she would have told her or Sophie just so that way they have less to worry about. Come on, we’re going to be late.
