AU where after the doomed yaoi stabbing happens everything goes back to normal like Martin stabs Jon and the eyepocalypse stops and every thing goes back to normal miraculous lady bug style like all the domains go away, everything is fixed, all the normal people forget what happened (with a few exceptions) everyone who died is back everyone gets put back in the location they were before everything went to shit like it's not time travel, all the main characters (the avatars, the archival crew,etc) remember what happened, they have the scars to prove it but it's just like every thing went back to being normal, to being okay it's not perfect but everything is okay and I think that's what matters after the stabbing they all wake up back at the institute on the floor and while most of them are okay that's not to say they're all unchanged like -jon is still eyeball-y but very relieved -martin is foggy but normal and very relieved Jon didn't die -tim is back with cool scars and the power to blow stuff up in any way -daisy is also back as a human but werewolf logic now applies to her every one is very happy to see each other but unfortunately there are other things that changed and the crew arn't the only ones waking up on the institute floor first of all

-Danny is also back (albeit filled with sawdust), tim is very happy until it's revealed that danny willingly joined the circus -Micheal is also there and while he's now a lot more human now, he's still all sort of fucked up and now has to share the distortion with Helen -gerry is alive and no longer a book but isn't 100% human the most pressing issue is that the real Elias has his body back and Jonah is back to being a twink in his original body

George and Ruby's outfits going into the 1890s represent the odd dichotomy of their new lives. On one hand, they live a relatively "simple" life on Ruby's father's farm, and are compelled to dress practically, in simple, sturdy clothes, in order to support a lifestyle of hard labor. On the other hand, they have Moses's consistent financial support - less so cash, more often in the form of lavish gifts, especially of expensive clothing. They often have multiple outfits for the same occasion, one more expensive, and one more practical.

George in particular has taken to Moses's habit of giving gifts. George finds the promise of wealth infinitely appealing, and although he hasn't yet obtained said wealth, Moses's expensive presents often make him feel as if he has. Because of this influence from his father-in-law, George's outfits have also trended more towards Moses's all-black color scheme, becoming darker in color and adding in more blues and jewel tones, to replace George's teenage greens and yellows. He dresses in Moses's gift-clothing whenever possible, only returning to more practical garments while working on the farm.

Ruby, on the other hand, seems discomforted by the expensive clothes her father throws at her. Her hunger for independence and identity tends to push her away from making use of his gifts, no matter how lovely. She does dress up when he asks her to, or when the situation arises, but otherwise Ruby favors sturdy, comfortable, practical clothing. Some of her outfits do retain her teenage greens and yellows, especially those given to her by Moses, but the majority of her clothes are in a soft, neutral color palette, made up of mostly creams and browns. Still, Ruby does have a taste for drama, and what she lacks in fashionable clothing, she makes up for in her variable, expressive hats, often covered in flowers or feathers.

The Load Order Myth

There's a persistent myth in this community that mod conflicts can be solved by making the mods load in the right order.

However: This is only true if the mod creator has made them compatible. It might be true if two mods just happen to do the same thing, but that's very rare.

How mod conflicts work:

No matter in which order these mods load, the sim will always do either thing, not the combination of both.

So the mod that loads first will stop working.

Making these compatible is only possible by making a new mod:

Depending on how complicated mods we're talking about, making compatible versions can be just as worksome than making a completely new mod.

So if the creator doesn't want to use both of the mods themselves, chances are they aren't interested in making yet another mod.

TL;DR: whenever creators say "these will work together if my mod loads after", they've intentionally made it that way (and will likely tell about it in the post).
