This map is the most fantastic tool I use for my writing. The level of zoom is incredible. It shows the roads, ore deposits, where you run into "world encounters" like bandits, Thalmor, soldiers, etc., even where the beehives and the skill books are located. There's even a map of Solstheim.

BLEAK FALLS BARROW

RATING: 10/10

See now THIS is a good introductory dungeon, this is my jam.  Pretty sights, a word wall, a good attached quest, some puzzles.. It even introduces you to pressure plates and oil traps! What a time to be alive! Unfortunately it doesn’t immediately teach the player about tripwires and how to disarm them, but we got to leave some mysteries to the player.. and those are introduced in Embershard Mine, anyway, if the player does that on the way to Riverwood.

And! On top of that! Just.. its so easily accessible if you follow the road and take the path up the mountain. Smooth sailing. Not too hard, not too long, doesn’t even have any special gimmicks aside from one claw door (which is itself a neat little introduction to claw doors and how to solve them assuming you don’t use google)!

Modest loot, lots of interesting things, real nice. Real damn nice. It’s just a solid dungeon in every category. I mean it’s absolutely not the BEST in every category, but it’s a really good first impression. Does anyone stop to appreciate the humble BFB? Alas.. perhaps not. Such is the fate of the first and most modest dungeon of the main quest.

I love when stuff comes with little map posters, I love sticking them up on my walls. Skyrim? Yep. Khorvaire? You bet. The Inner Sphere? Absolutely. Doesn’t even have to be products, I have the visitor map of the provincial park where my partner and I went on a date up there too, same with the free Toronto subway system one. I “stole” like 8 of the fucking things from the Ministry of Mines office when my internship with them closed, I can’t get enough

a lot of these pages (especially for SHOTN) are either empty or haven't been updated in years, and there's no official effort on the devs side to update uesp stuff. i've just been doing npc pages for like a couple of months and it's really fun and satisfying :3 it would be really nice to see more people get involved!
