The outline of the entire game has been completed.

As for the demo, it will be released once I finish both the prologue and chapter one. I’m currently about 90% done on the written portion of the prologue and will start coding in a few days!

Days 21-23 of coding everyday for a year. I've been busy y'all.

Our game for the global game jam is a funny game where the player must do well at the shooter mini game, and engage with their live stream audience. The audience will sling jokes, insults, or praise depending on your performance/engagement.

So on day 21 I spent most of the day on making a game design document, and planning the game jam game with my team. Day 22 I started some architecture and technical design document to help the rest of the devs go in the direction we are supposed to go. Day 23 I started working on UI and starting the chat functionality. My husband is working on the shooter mini game.

Tomorrow I'll be making the chat functionality more.

More characters(more party members you can earn). These plus Boow will be the only party members you can earn during the story. The mouse is covering something of Remane's I don't want to reveal until further into creating.

Also here's a short showcase of what I figured out what to do so far. A isometric cam, how to set the starting character, Key binds(that RN just activates placeholder text for what I plan for the key binds), and how to make a temporary dialogue system. (I don't know what is causing the error in the Camera code, it just keeps popping up in the output whenever I try to playtest. I'm gonna work on that soon)

I'm currently working on making the outfits and hair of at least the important characters while I'm writing the story the game will have beyond the concept story I have written down.

I finally started working on my VN again, and I thought I would try to blog about the progress. With a project this size, it's difficult to observe any progress; all I can see is what needs to be done next. So putting down what I was able to accomplish might be nice. 

Hopefully, I manage to do that. I tried to keep a journal multiple times in my life but never got beyond 8 pages.

So, uhh. I may have just postponed my Storyshift take for a while, and began working on something else for fun. Would love some opinions on it so far! All of these things are for the same project (and I might need a bit of help with it sometime in the future, since I do kinda wanna make something with it) First one is a player character, or YOU. Second one is a bunch of backgrounds (one shop, 5 battle). Those are for main battles with the final part. Jartist!! So far he has a full rotation and walk animations. Still have much more to work on.

I just wanted to tell someone my update with genshin. building kazuha is tough but I can finally beat his boss by myself. I wanted to finally level up a hydro character but I was to scared to fight oceanid but I literally just beat it on my first try (like literally today). Ever since I started learning how to properly farm artifacts it’s been so much better. My next goal is to beat the ruin serpent.

The Fox won!!

Got a little busy with work yesterday, but thank you for all the votes! Currently playing around with colors for the finished product- but here’s a small sneak peek at what I’m going for!

Debating on what sorta fox I’d like Si to be. I really like Silver and Red foxes- but what about Arctic? Fennec? So many to choose from!

Though I really am loving the Red fox design a LOT.

I’ve got the next couple of days off, so I’ll be chipping away at the game as I go along and making what assets I’ll need for the tumblr and itch page. Be on the lookout for more updates as I slowly bring things together! 💕
