Circling back to the whole Will Shane possibly having murdered Tom Por thing-

It's like, never brought up again, other than the mental connection we the audience make during 'The New Kid pt 2' when Twist is telling Eli his backstory.

Like did Will actually kill Tom?

Or was it a misunderstanding???

Because it's very well implied that Will actually did do it.

The gang kinda confirmed Tom Por just... Vanished, and no one knew exactly what happened to him?

Sure, Dana says Will Shane murdered her father. But she has no solid proof other than what her father told her.

And we know when she says 'he found out Will Shane was working for the enemy'[not a direct quote] it was about the Shadow Clan. And that Tom was attributing the time Will spent away as time collaborating with them.

In reality, Will was just going top side to spend time with his family. And a small portion was actually spent with the Shadow Clan as they were collaborating in protecting Slugterra and it's secrets. To the point Will was given the Shadow Talker, and the recorded messages Will left for Eli that were curtesy of Shadow Clan.

So they were friendly.

circling back, Dana claimed her father found out about it. But it's clear he didn't know the full truth at that moment.

We know there was a possible confrontation between the two men.

And in that possible confrontation, Dana claims Will murder Tom.

Key point, Dana claims. She doesn't know for serten. She says she knows it's the truth- but here's the thing, no one knows for serten.

Eli rebuffs the idea, and again, the gang is not entirely convinced themselves.

In short, Dana is an unreliable source of information because she doesn't know the whole truth(no one but Will dose) and she's also blinded by her emotions.

Another thing that orb Dana is now using after having taken it, a thing I've taken to calling the Shadow Walker. The thing that let's her walk in the Shadows like she's Shadow Clan.

That to me, didn't belong to Will. Because when Dana makes off with it, none of that Shadow Clan chase her down, nor make an effort to track her down to get it back. (I think, I could be wrong, been a while since I saw the EP)

Key point, they let Eli keep the Shadow Talker. Like they show up, just to tell him that he can keep it. That it once belonged to his dad, and now belongs to him.

They make no real fuss about the Shadow Walker orb.

What if the Shadow Walker was Tom Por's?

What of when Tom confronted Will, and Will told him the truth about his partnership with the Shadow Clan?

It was established that Will and Tom were friends. Good friends, after all, Tom was Wills navigator, and you have to trust the person navigating you.

So what if, when Tom confronted Will, Will told Tom the truth about his dealings with the Shadow Clan?

What if Will took Tom to see the Shadow Clan, and as a show of good faith, and a favor to Will Shane, they gave Tom the Shadow Walker?

But something happened, something bad, that was out of everyone's control, and Tom unexpectedly died, just moments after getting it?

[Mabye even suddenly disappeared? Spirited away by some unknown force, leaving behind the Shadow Walker]

Will, devastated, takes the Shadow Walker and the Shadow Talker and put them in the box, cover it in a metal only a Lavalynx could melt and hid it.

Will for whatever reason, can't bring himself to tell Dana the truth, and he knows his emotions might get the better of him as a dad to a son around her age at the time.

So he makes one more request of the Shadow Clan in regards to the Shadow Walker.

Should Dana Por ever get her hands on it, let her keep it for better or worse.

Again all of this is speculation, the rambling of a mad person who is in desperate need of sleep. I could be wrong. This is mostly crap I thought up while making my OC lore for Slugterra. There is no real evidence.

So take this with a grain of salt.

I made an intro to slugterra thingy cause most youtube videos ive seen about slugterra are either ai slop or well-meaning cartoon channels that have done a sane and respectable amount of research but dont have every slugterra fact tatooed into their bloodstream like I do...so boom, a real life human with a voice talking about slugterra.

i have no proper camera but otherwise ive always really vibed w video essay stuff...doesnt mean im good at it, but if i do it more ill probs get better at it! not just about slugterra either, i have hot takes about aspec representation and i accidentally stumbled into the lord of the rings fandom recently, so...hopefully, whatever happens, the rest of my artistic output is only better than this vid and not worse :)

Random tangent incoming but one thing that always fascinated me about Saturday's character is that he doesn't seem to have a clear role in Blakk Industries.

Like C.C was a well-respected slinger so he was likely recruited to raise the general opinion of Blakk Industries, Nacho is an enforcer which I assume mostly means he scares people into giving Blakk what he wants, Twist is Blakk's apprentice, and the large group of mercenary characters Blakk recruits in the trade (which includes Locke and Lode) are most likely either there to A: raise public interest in ghouls kinda like what C.C is there for or B: to do tasks for Blakk that aren't important enough to do himself or send Nacho to do but that he can't just send one of the random unnamed guards to complete.

But Saturday's whole thing is mind control which could be useful to Blakk but Saturday seems way more interested in using that power for his own gain. After all, Blakk wouldn't have any use for the stolen big screen TVs or couch cushions from Caverna Mall

Not to mention Saturday has some lines suggesting that his role in Blakk Industries might be a bit more complicated like "Blakk may have given me the ghoul tech, but I work for no one but myself" in Dawn of the Slug or when he says "I am a business man and this is strictly business!.. although I am running a little low on ghouls Dr. Blakk." after Eli calls him another one of Blakk's minions

I'm probably thinking way too hard about this but I am curious to hear what anyone else might think about this.

Reporting three days into my Slugterra marathon to which I can't escape from.

It's funny how I Can't be able to see any pair of characters in this series and ship them, the series itself isn't romance-centered and there's enough Lore and action scenes that take My attention.

I thought maybe I could ship Blakk and one of his assistants like El Diablos Nacho or that one red haired guy that appears every now and then, maybe even with Will Shane. I also tried getting the ship vision for other characters but I can't get it, Even some that would attract me like Diablos Nacho x Brimstone, Eli Shane x Twist still need time to boil in my brain.

So in shipper desperation I searched and searched for any pair that would look cute kissing.

Ok so I recently went on a binge watch of Slugterra again and I love it all over again lmao

I'm still not buying that nearly the entirety of the show took place within one year, though. Not at all 😭😭

You mean to tell me Eli came to Slugterra, learned how to sling, met Dr. Blakk, had to save the Surface world by getting rid of the Shane Journal from Gar, told the Gang about the Surface, discovered fusion shots, went to the Deep Caverns, found the Lightwell, defeated Blakk and the Dark Bane, rescued Junjie and learned about Slug Fu, then learned about the Elementals and saved Slugterra from collapsing, went to the Eastern Caverns to help Junjie free the Eastern Caverns, came back home only to find Tad and then getting betrayed again and THEN saving Slugterra from Tad, oh and not to mention losing his father again, IN ONE SINGLE YEAR?!?!

Yeah no. Ain't no way.

Quick Slugterra rant

So in the last movie [Into the Shadows] which we last saw of Slugterra,they gave us the character Tad Blakk aka Dr.Blakk's son

Which is a whole new plot twist throughout the story as we have no idea that Dr.Blakk even had a family this whole time,I suspect Dr.Blakk didn't want to mention he had one to Eli when he was in prison which is for the best cuz Eli probably wouldn't believe him if he did

Since Dr.Blakk is evil enough to mistreat slugs into ghouling them,I'd say he wants nothing to do with/neglected Tad in his life & he went through a nasty divorce with his wife before he ghouled himself.Also we never thought Dr.Blakk even have a love life since it wasn't his thing so this is a surprise

Question:How does Tad know abt Slugterra?

Pieper helped him find Slugterra & lead the way down with maps

Question:What is Tad's main goal?

Since Tad hated him so much to the point he wanted to get revenge on Dr.Blakk for ruining everything

He claims to despise him and yet acting like his Father abt the mistreatment to the slugs & ghouling them,even he said he is not his Father

The whole plan is to get revenge on Dr.Blakk but it's too late since he's in the Deep Cavern for a long time so Tad changed his plan into making his own army at the age of 13(Yes he is so young & can be naive)

He is nobody's junior,he is an individual who he can handle himself on his own

At the end of the movie,Tad & Piper landed in the Deep Cavern which they discontinued the show & left a huge cliffhanger to the lore

It is disappointing since we know nothing abt Tad & what his intention is,WHAT IS THIS LORE!!??

I really wish to post more outsiders content with Slugterra as I’ve been gone for a while, and about that, I’m sorry I’ve kept disappearing for anyone who wonders about that, But I recently had to take a break during may because of something that had happened that caused frustration and fear, I am okay now! And I wish to get back into posting regularly kinda. (I wish to notify I am not stressed or at all when drawing, I am okay just the lack of motivation is kicking in 😭)

With that being said, I’m going to take a while with big post about My Slugterra Au/The outsiders OC’s Posts more than often, because I want to find a new way to post my Art in my own way kinda, I’m not going to disappear all together but more so just posting fanart for others untill then, because I have so many art ideas planned and knowing I can’t get them all done, I’ll prioritized getting them done, while posting fanart for others in the meantime, with maybe my OC’s here and there.

My stupid ah just remembered Moulton/Hunter wouldn't be adopted since in my Slugterra stunters au he runs away from home due to him believing he was to expensive for his mother to pay for and he wanted her to live a better life. So instead Hunter would be taken care by his single mother while going to college with Slasher still being adopted by Minotaur/Micheal after being taken by CPS from his abusive house hold when he was younger.

Also, Surface bound questions: How does Eli meet the mercenaries in Surface bound?

And question on oc interactions: What would the Surface bound Shane gang members think of W.B.? And would any specific teachers like/dislike W.B. either due to his lower intelligence?

And finally, fun little headcanons. I think W.B. would maybe join the photography/film and maybe technology club because Drag had let W.B. use his camera a few times before, and Walker had shown the kid how to build things due to his engineering skill.

Oh, and first time meeting Brandon Eli was immediately be slightly intimidated for a while before later finding out that his dads pretty chill.

That's all good, we all have our hiccups with remembering some character lore and translating it to other universes!

Eli's encounters with the mercs is dependent on which he did; since the Gentleman counts as one, just turns out Gent was one of his English/Literacy teachers. (though unknown to Eli does Mr L. Bravado do some merc work after hours)

For the others like Stocker, Frost, Flame and Shockwire, they all have their own little stories.

Stocker encountered Eli while the boy was searching around the Shadow Woods. The big time hunter was trying to hunt down some deer but almost hunted him a teenager when Eli spooked the deer off on accident.

Frost and Flame are college students who do part time merc work for their paychecks. They encountered Eli while the boy was under his hero disguise, the Flaming Star, and attempted to fight him, only for another big bad (an escaped Deep Cavern Eel) to take more importance on defeating.

As for Shockwire, he was someone Eli likely dealt with in his first couple of weeks being topside. Maybe some form of comp that lead to finding a slug or some sort of part for some slinger gear.

Regarding interactions with W.B; Eli and Trixie would see him as another student, a nice dude who wants to hang with them in the photography/filmography club. Kord would be in charge of the engineering/robotics club if not Quintin (as in they ensure the students of said club are being appropriate for school) so he'd be chill with W.B. Pronto's always ambitious and bit self-centered, so if W.B is just nice to him, he'd like him (bonus points if W.B is one of the kids who help Pronto clean the school litter)

Regarding other facilities/teachers, the ones that would like him would likely be Mr Pitcher (C.C), Mr King (King of Sling), Nurse Mira (she's just very polite and nice to everyone, cares a lot about the students), Miss Wright (OC) and maybe Miss Drake (my sissy BlueStarrCreations's OC, so its dependent on her!). On the side of hating/disliking W.B would be Vice Principal Nacho (he hates everyone), Admin Staff Janice (she's a prissy brat and thinks highly of herself), Mr Logan (Judge Logan always has the stupidest and most specific rules for his classroom) and Mr Hampton (Locke, he's just the nasty gym coach)

This is just a rambly rant post about Dreamworks Dragons: The nine realms.

One of the series I really tried to like because I have an absolute love for the books and the movies! So I thought that I'd take a crack at the TV series considering their previous television series, Dragons: Race to the Edge, was decent.

Not this one...

It's disappointing. Vexxing if you've loved How To Train Your Dragon for years.

I honestly thought the story was going to go in a similiar direction to the television series' Slugterra, Storm Hawks, or even Max Steel but that was just wishful thinking. You see in my mind I genuinely thought that the show was about a boy who's parents were scientist who went down into a cave to map out some unknown territory and then all of a sudden go missing. The boy finds his parents journal that contain a few hidden things and everything to do with the secrets of the dragons - and considering that the protagonist is a long decendant of Hiccup - would want to keep the secret safe away from pouchers and the like. With his friends and the new world technology they find many ways to keep the dragons a secret, protecting them from the world above who wish them harm.

Nope. It's nothing like that. I honestly cannot tell you what this series is suppose to be about expect a retelling of the movies...in a cheaper budgeted way and not at all inspiring or invigorating. I'd say if you wanted to waste time then watch it- but in all honesty, just rewatch the movies. Some episodes are just carbon copies of the movie plots, some are aggravating to watch and others just make absolutely no sense at all. AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE CHARACTERS WITH NO CHARACTER!!!

Dear Dreamworks, get better writers. I'll even give you that little nugget of inspiration up there ^^^ just stop this cash-grab nonsense, get people who actually love the material and want to do a better job- and if anyone starts with me saying its for children - shut up! Shows for kids that even adults can enjoy: Bluey. I don't need to say anymore.

You know what would be an awesome series finale for Slugterra? A Battle for the Surface. Could be a movie, could be separate parts, could be the entire plot for the last season of the show; I think it would be cool. Either the threat is extremely close to reaching the Surface, or their whole battle really is on the Surface. Imagine how intense and chaotic that would be (the threat in question could be Tad, aka Dr. Blakk's son, since he survived, but it could be a new threat altogether).

I'd imagine that the Shane Gang would have to gather allies all across the 99 caverns, including the Eastern Caverns. Would probably be set some time in the future, perhaps when Eli turns 18? Or close; an 18 year old, no longer the kid wishing and actually being the hero his dad was, fighting for his former home. It would be cool to see a summary of everyone's and both of the worlds' future at the end of it all.

I don't know what or who the "new" threat would be, but I just think it's an amazing way to wrap up the show. Would Slugterra stay hidden forever? Or would the Surface finally acknowledge the world beneath their feet? Would things finally become peaceful? How would both worlds interact with each other? How much would it change history and the already existing economy, laws and customs? I'm Having a Brainrot.

And Eli Shane, the hero we've followed all these years, what does his future hold?

It will never not be upsetting yet hilarious to me that Eli Shane is 15.

I mean, seriously, this kid spends an entire year, just fighting in Slugterra, he's been betrayed on several occasions, like he straight up let's Twist and Tad in his home, calls them his friends and they stab him in the back.

Is either being compared to his dad, or blamed for things his dad did.

Is probably dealing with the dilemma that his father is a murderer, as we still don't know what exactly happened to Tom Por or if Will Shane actually killed him.

Saw his dad tackle Blakk and the Goon into that Terra portal thing, after having him back for probably less than an hour.

Burpy, his best friend, almost died.

Was under the Goons influence and hurt in friends, probably causing some self-loathing.

Eli Shane is a kid, barley a teenager. He is put into an adults world, to be the symbol of hope, and the figure to rally behind.

I get having a figure that can be seen as pillar of strength can rally people to do the impossible, but why does that figure have to be Eli?

This 15 year old kid is doing what should have been done since his father's absence was noticed.

He makes bad puns, intentionally antagonizes people he knows could crush him, and once tricked Nacho into taking a fake map that had a crude picture of Nacho himself on it.

Eli is such a good boi, it's not funny.

He reprimanded a group of slug hunters then they were looking for the Enigmo Slug.

To Sargeant Slugs face, tells him that his(Eli's) Slugs won't be partaking in the 'training' and he's just there for the pool. To freaking freeload. And yeah, Pronto paid the Club Slug fees already, but it has to sting knowing you have a Shane in your establishment, but there only there because they kinda had no choice and for your waterslide. Like imagine the profits that would bring in having a local celebrity using what you advertised.

Pranks is team in Deadweed in the most hilarious way. Before getting them inadvertently trapped like an idiot.

Being a smug little flopper as his Slugs come crashing in on a humongous elephant mecha, effectively convincing everyone his Slugs know how to drive.

Just the last few minutes of Roboslugs

"You thought we were building a robot to beat yours, in forty-five minutes?!"

[Sounds of Breaking Glass]

"How dumb do you think we are? We were just building a can opener!"

[Hops into Quentins mech, hopefully not getting his hands cut on broken glass]

Eli Shane is many things, but most importantly, he is a 15 year old boy just trying his best. And when his best isn't enough, his friends are there to back him every step of the way.

I also like to think Eli would like Pikmin.

I was just thinking about this if you had rewritten Slugterra accession what would you do differently? Would you bring back Dr.Blakk as the main antagonist? Or would you bring in a new villain for the Shane gang to go up against? Let me know what you think.

Blakk would have a lasting effect, but he would not be the main antagonist. at least not for a while. cause i think this show could have been so loooooooong....id introduce blakk in like season 7 lol. honestly, slugterra has a rich tapestry of small compelling villains, with some being more important than others depending on their alliances. i'd bring back the old classics (saturday, cc, twist, maurice, blite, you name it) and also add new players - ones that grew undr blakk's shadow, ones that were released/escaped from prison for some reason, ones that hid to wait out blakk's plans and now finally feel ready to make their debut, or even some legendary evil ppl that in age have come to terrorize one cavern and, compacent, their terror hasn't been on wider slugterra's radar. and hell, it could be people killing, or controlling, but it could also be small stuff again, like a kid abusing slugs, or other implicited abusive stuff going on (cause kid show, but cmonnnn, its slugterra, they are so good at being like "yes ur honor this dude was mind controlled for 20 years and we simply let the audience look into the explicit behaviors that we animated for him afterwards" they could so do that w harsher subjects)

i would do...everything different. keep the gang together. have everyone - especially eli - grapple with the concept of how to move forward and make slugterra better - stopping those slug markets and whatnot - while also contending with their trust issues (and possible depression, in elis case) after tad. out with the universal slug or whatever, bring in wtf dana's been doing with the shadow walker - maybe shes been exploring shadow clan territory in the south and calls the shane gang when she finds new shane secrets/treasure. maybe his could be a segmented like a show - some episodes are the gang trying to fight crime but also help people out, supporting programs that make the world better, and the other half is involving a tense plotline with the shadow clan about uncovering the stuff dana found (maybe a secret passage to the back end of the deep caverns, in a cavern that's thin enough to where the shadow walker could just barely manage to take a traveler to the other side). In both plots, old and new characters get introduced and recontextualized in the absence of Blakk, especially Twist, who would probably come back in the context of "hey, why not help out the gang covertly into finding will and rescuing him so i can kill him or something!", getting more evil from his time and trauma w blakk but then as eli's hero worship of the shanes and will decays further it prompts him to come back to the good side?

That was a rant but yeah - came up w that on the fly. But I actally wrote a little of a story involving after ItS - one called "I'm sorry, I dont know what the moon looks like tonight", whose later scenes take place after ItS, and TEAL "To End A Legacy" (which is my first slgterra fanfic) where i continued the slugterra plot....in a really dark way...and IM GONNA FINISH IT 2025 IS THE YEAR I FINISH THINGS I SWEAR-

AND HOW DID THE SHADOW CLAN KNOW WHICH ONE WAS THE EASTERN CAVERNS (I haven't watched it for like 2 months) and what happened to the portal....Also I know Dr Blak knows about the surface (evidence is his son and the one episode when he's in jail talking to Eli) but like, Tad is the same age if maybe a little younger than Eli...WHAT HAPPENED? And why did Will Shane come back and then dissapear A-FUCKING-GAIN! Also if the laser, from the very last episode, made a hole that goes through to the Darkbane, wouldn't turning off the thing be incogntuitive?

the eastern caverns r so important to me in terms of worldbuilding n shit. i LOVE hearing about other caverns. with the knowledge that there’s only one infurnus for each cavern and that desigates the protector just makes me think. bc the deep caverns are a cavern too right? do they have a darkfurnus slinger? how different are all the infurnus’s across the caverns? i wanna know these stupid details So Badly
