Just to quickly put it out there. It wasn't good. I honestly felt like a studio was trying to do a quick rip off movie with disney-esk models, but alas it was just all round bad.

Looking at the original sketches for the movie, it would have been amazing if they kept star boy! a Magical boy trapped in the castle and the evil king and queen siphoning his powers for their own personal gains. The protagonist could have been someone who wanted to work for the king and queen to make a better life for her and her family, being fooled by the royal couples facade they bring her in and finally tell her their secret. The Magical Star Child.

Conflicted, she has to decide; does she want to free the star child and lose everyones chance of wishes, or keep it a secret in order to keep the magic alive.

Of course it being Disney, she'd obviously would set him free, letting everyone know of the evil doings of the King and Queen. The star child, in the end, would invite his friends to fly across the night skies to grant people their wishes.

IS IT SO HARD TO MAKE GOOD STORIES NOWADAYS?! WHERE THE HELL WERE THE WRITERS FOR THIS MOVIE?!?!?!?i

It could have been great!

This is just a rambly rant post about Dreamworks Dragons: The nine realms.

One of the series I really tried to like because I have an absolute love for the books and the movies! So I thought that I'd take a crack at the TV series considering their previous television series, Dragons: Race to the Edge, was decent.

Not this one...

It's disappointing. Vexxing if you've loved How To Train Your Dragon for years.

I honestly thought the story was going to go in a similiar direction to the television series' Slugterra, Storm Hawks, or even Max Steel but that was just wishful thinking. You see in my mind I genuinely thought that the show was about a boy who's parents were scientist who went down into a cave to map out some unknown territory and then all of a sudden go missing. The boy finds his parents journal that contain a few hidden things and everything to do with the secrets of the dragons - and considering that the protagonist is a long decendant of Hiccup - would want to keep the secret safe away from pouchers and the like. With his friends and the new world technology they find many ways to keep the dragons a secret, protecting them from the world above who wish them harm.

Nope. It's nothing like that. I honestly cannot tell you what this series is suppose to be about expect a retelling of the movies...in a cheaper budgeted way and not at all inspiring or invigorating. I'd say if you wanted to waste time then watch it- but in all honesty, just rewatch the movies. Some episodes are just carbon copies of the movie plots, some are aggravating to watch and others just make absolutely no sense at all. AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE CHARACTERS WITH NO CHARACTER!!!

Dear Dreamworks, get better writers. I'll even give you that little nugget of inspiration up there ^^^ just stop this cash-grab nonsense, get people who actually love the material and want to do a better job- and if anyone starts with me saying its for children - shut up! Shows for kids that even adults can enjoy: Bluey. I don't need to say anymore.

The same Astarion artwork continues to be stolen time and time again by unscrupulous shops (I've filed over 20 complaints, just on Etsy alone). One particular independent shop refuses to remove the items using my artwork, ignores my messages, and deletes all my comments warning buyers.

Here's the specific artwork, my original fanart, and the low-quality and insolent modification to turn it into a shoddy sweatshirt and t-shirt design. Which is promoted on TikTok !

This has to stop.

Sharing your work on the internet, or even just sharing your passion, has become a nightmare for artists and creators. We already have enough to deal with in the face of AI threats and platforms like Aliexpress; now we have to manage a surge in theft as well.

This shop is also appropriating other artworks from the BG3 fandom.

I'm seeking your help in identifying the authors of these artworks so that I can notify them.

I'm also currently in contact with a specialized attorney because I've had enough.

The cup is full, and I want to be able to showcase my drawings without enriching thieves. It's particularly painful during this period of economic crisis, where, like many others, I'm struggling to make ends meet, to feed my two young kids.

This is almost like a countdown to the end of the kickstarter after 9 months of work coming to a close, I'm so happy with all the supportive friends I've made along the way!

It's ashame the kickstarter isn't doing so well, but maybe it isn't meant to be. I will be making polls soon on my instagram for people to vote on which characters they'd love to see! In addition, I will be putting up kofi goals if you guys want to help out in funding these in the future.
