okay i might try to make some more hockey tarot related crochet stuff... mitch solo is obviously represented as the magician, i don't think that needs explaining, but what do we think about auston as the hermit....... first of all, virgo which is what the card is. second of all, i've always loved the quotes about how much auston's drive for hockey and life in general 100% comes from this internal fire in him to just do it. like there is something really spiritual about his connection to this sport and the way he's able to maintain his privacy while being one of the biggest faces of it in one of the biggest markets.... thinking about how much gratitude and love he has and how much of that comes from the self reflection he does about his position in life....... the way he flees that spotlight at every opportunity to get back home and to places that remind him who he is... idk..... it's feeling accurate. i feel like making him something too authoritative like the emperor is just not the right energy even though that ALSO represents a lot that he is too. i feel like if he won the cup already/signed a longer deal/was the leafs captain, that energy would be more fitting but for right now.....

yes, they were dating. but not anymore. i'm sensing that the leak of the photos was a big turning point for taehyung and jennie, that required them to step back and look at the situation from a more objective view. it's almost like they forgot there even was the possibility for someone to "expose" them, and were just living in the heat of the moment. it was a more short-lived, but very impactful and meaningful relationship for the both of them. a lot of passion and longing for each other. there still seems to be an inability to move on, not being able to let go of whatever they had, and a clear wish to rekindle. (especially on taehyung's side)

so, jennie seems to have been a woman, who taehyung has always felt an attraction towards. he sees her as the charming queen of wands, someone with a strong presence and a very magnetic aura. with the two of wands here, it's clear that approaching her was something he had planned to do.

however, i got a bunch of reversed cards just flying out right away, so there is a lot of blocked and negative energy here. it seems like, once he was able to build something with jennie, he put a lot of responsibility on himself to take good care of her, and make sure she's comfortable. i also kept hearing "protective". he really wanted to hold on to what they had, and kinda stressed himself out on his own. i think the fear of losing his grip on her drove taehyung to this place of uncertainty on how to proceed.. like "what do i do so this amazing woman stays with me?" he saw her a precious existence in his life, that he didn't wanna lose.

he still seems to hold strong feelings for jennie, but has since been able to control himself more. the five of cups in the end tells me there still is lingering regret in him, and he often asks himself if he could've done anything differently, to prevent the end from happening. just like in the previous spread, there definitely seems to be a lack of closure on a personal level.

she views taehyung as a very emotionally mature and loving guy. someone who cherishes and values his loved ones tremendously, and has a sweet and understanding heart. jennie seems to especially admire his ability to deal with obstacles, in her eyes taehyung is someone who's very level headed and intelligent. he doesn't get swayed or driven to insecurity by the challenges he faces. she herself can be a lot more sensitive than people think, and often takes things to heart, so she felt very drawn to someone so different to her. being with him gave her a sense of stability.

the five of wands shows me, all the public talk and external circumstances messed with her feelings. she truly doesn't like her private life being so out there and having to hear everyone voicing their opinion on something that's meant to be only her business. it wasn't just the news that they dated, as far as i can remember people hacked into her phone (? correct me if i'm wrong) and literally leaked their private pictures. i think anyone would feel very uncomfortable in that situation.

The theory abt the full moon?!!! OMG! 😲🧠🎇

the moon is present in so many cultures & has always played a role in spirituality so i'm def curious to see how it will tie into the pagan & supernatural aspects of the story. i'm excited to see itbeing broght up again, to see if namjoon is aware of this possibility or if he already knows & is going to confirm jk's theory? also,if it's true,will diff phases of the moon have diff influences on wolf hybrids or not? i'll have to wait to know & i love it!!

A thing that left a deep impression in me was during the scene in which mc had namjoon & tae sit on nj's bed & medicate them. After setting some things straight & pulling the thorn in her side,there was a bit of an awkward silence(understandably) that was broken by tae apologising 1st. the thing that stood out to me is nj's reaction: he didn't just flow w/ tae's apology & outright refused to let the bear hybrid shoulder all the blame & responsability of both starting & escalating the fight. to me that showed maturity & confirmed that the wolf has calmed down, is feeling regretful & has been ruminating on his actions 👏👏

1 specific thing that ranks pretty high on the list of reasons of why i fell in love w/ this series & your writing style is how no matter the situation at hand, we always have solid insight to mc's thoughts,feelings & her mind, regularly & uninterruptedly. we always are aware of her inner wrld, macchinations, thoughts, opinions, reflessions etc & it's incorporated so smoothly w/ the flow of the narration, it brings her character to life in new ways each time!!

Another specific thing i love abt this series: each scenting scene in unique to the character & moulded after his personality. we see more of this characterisation & differentiation between them also in the small,laid back & domestic-y details like their tastes in cake (i'm team jk, cheesecake supremacy!), the changes they've done to the room to make it more theirs or not really in the case of jimin, their unique scents, which ones of them tend to tease mc more & their way to do it, which ones are already more physical even in lowkey instances such as hugging the mc when she bid them good night & the difference in which each one of the guys is showing her that he's warming up to her

AHHH so Jeongguk's velvet shedding is one of my favorite little details about him! I definitely wanted to include something like that when I originally planned out this series; I thought the goriness of velvet shedding fit in well with some of the eerie parts of the plot, and it especially fits Jeongguk's edginess. I'm so glad you like that part of his character! 😍

And the full moon theory Jeongguk had about Namjoon! I guess it is a sort of fantastical theory that Jeongguk came up with (MC looking at him like he grew an extra head) But you're so right, the moon has a very important role in so many religions and spiritualities, particularly in MC's practice, as well. I'm not sure if Namjoon has put the pieces together about how the moon influences his moods yet, but then again, he is very interested in this sort of subject matter, so it is definitely a possibility. When the moon is fuller, or in waxing phases, he would be easier to agitate, and during new moons or waning phases he'd be more collected and calm.

I agree with you during the whole "bandaging/scolding/apology" scene; Namjoon definitely put his pride aside and admitted that Tae was taking too much blame. Namjoon is quick to anger and react, so after the dust settled, he realized how he had flown off the handle and how it effected everyone else in the home. Hence how badly he felt, and why he felt the need to take share of the blame. He's learning how to control those reactions, slowly but surely!

YOONGIIII!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️ He's my darling, truly. In this fic and otherwise. Yoongi is a sweetheart irl, and I wanted this reflected in Trouvaille. I just love how he quietly looks after her, and yes, he has his moments of teasing, but really he's just a softie. I'm so happy you love him, and I really enjoyed writing the scene where he steps in before Hoseok and Seokjin can flash her-- definitely breaks up the tension with some comedic relief!

(P.S., you're onto something with the sense of familiarity between MC and Yoongi!! I don't want to give too much away, but you're on the money....) 🤭

You want to make amends, to reconciliate/atone, but are unsure on whether you should do it. Perhaps you don't feel emotionally prepared to reopen that wound.

V. The Hierophant (reversed) and VII of Wands (reversed)

What I noticed here is that The Hierophant mirrors The Devil, not as perfectly as The Lovers, but it is incredibly similar. Once again that energy of opposition, contradiction, and confusion appears, "the wolf in sheep's clothing". For some, my fixation on this phrase could be a warning. For others an invitation to look in the mirror... Try looking at the situation from the other person's point of view! I'm not saying you are a "wolf in sheep's clothing", but that might be how you're being perceived. You are exhausted, remorse is eating up all of your energy. The Hierophant is saying that you should stay true to your personal beliefs, so if you believe apologizing is necessary to move on, do it!

But, based on the interactions of hers that I see on my tl, I can see that she is very playful but also can be serious. Hence, why I say that she'd be amazing with Kuroo Tetsurou. Kuroo is playful and an overall gremlin, but he's very caring ang knows exactly when to be serious and how serious.
