In case anyone actually cares about this issue, some good news: 227 migrants were rescued off the Canary Islands and 294 migrants were rescued off the coast of Italy yesterday/today.
It was in the news.
Haven't seen anyone talking about it on here for some reason so I thought I'd share!
Via @Buitengebieden over at what once was Twitter.
The language is Portuguese. Going by the notes to that tweet, this bird (a) is refusing to take delivery of any guilt for what it’s done, as well as denying responsibility; and (b) has mastered the art of ruthlessly talking over its friend.
This is plainly the current incarnation of the God of Snark.
thought crosshair was going to be president of "we hate rampart" club but no it's echo. no one hates the empire and its associates more than echo. echo wears a shirt that has "Fuck the Empire all my vode hate the empire" to bed every night
i like to hc that sunset is part kirin! and i imagine she got the flame hair during "my past is not today" and she was VERY surprised when going back through the mirror
the other two i don't really have many headcanons for, surprisingly! despite being some of my faves
i thought of this when the day was already mostly over and i realized 4/13 wasn't gonna fall on a saturday again for years so i was SPEEDRUNNING to get it done before midnight in my timezone holy shit. happy snark banging out the tunes saturday!
I like how Astarion sometimes features in the background of your shartzel doodles. I feel like he would notice the sexual tension between them way before either of them clued into it. They are convinced that their obsession with hating one another is totally natural. After all, what's a little homoerotic murder attempt between friends? Meanwhile Astarion is keeping a mental tally of how many times they bicker before they finally "resolve their tension."
yes!! i agree with you!!
also in my brain he's just the funniest one to stick with the two of them as well
To be honest, if one of the students in my Junior Duck Stamp classes ever turned in something like this, I would be elated.
(For a bit of background--a few years ago the Federal Duck Stamp contest rules were changed so that artists HAD to include some element of waterfowl hunting in their entries, whether they were comfortable with it or not. The above artwork may be my favorite example of malicious--or at least snarky--compliance.)
