Yunjin's screech lands on deaf ears as you plant another wet kiss on her cheek.

"How am I supposed to focus when you-" She turns her head to face you, and you place a fleeting kiss on her lips, "now you're teasing me."

You lazily wrap your arms around her waist before pulling her away from the desk.

"C'mon, you've been looking at that laptop for hours and nothing has come to you. Why don't we go out for a bit so you can refresh your mind?" You suggest as she tries and fails to grab her laptop from the desk.

"I have to finish these lyrics before the deadline-" Yunjin tries to argue, but you shush her with another kiss to the lips.

"-which is a month away, and you're supposed to be relaxing when you're here visiting family and friends." You emphasize the word friends, as if the company that approved the trip wasn't already aware of your relationship.

You wanted to make the most of Yunjin being back in the States, but with her so focused on her group's upcoming comeback, you felt like Yunjin was with you without really being there with you.

"Alright." She reluctantly closes her laptop after you let her go from your arms. "What do you want to spend today doing?"

"I am, despite your sarcasm, and I've got a few new ideas for that laptop." She presses a soft kiss to your cheek.

"Any of them involve me?" You lean in to kiss her on the lips before she pushes you away.

"None of them, actually." She scoffs after you kiss her. "But I haven't written any lyrics yet, so there's time for you to inspire a few."

You pull her in to another kiss to show your approval.

"Let's head back to my place so we can relax for a bit, and then you can write as long as you want, alright?" You pull her into your arms before she snatches the keys from your hand.

"One more drink?" She looks at you with pleading eyes.

I've just been living in a state of numbness the majority of 2023 and fell out of love with Kdrama.

However, I'm having an anime era resurgence thanks to JJK and the 2024 January line-up for ongoing anime is so good...

Here are some of my recs for dealing with the aftermath of lobotomy kaisen in no particular order.

1. Solo Leveling

(MC just gets infinitely hotter the moment his life falls apart. The way he switched up from baby girl to shadow daddy. He's so Dorian/Rhys coded. I am but a simp. Live, Laugh Love, Sung Jin Woo forever 🥰😘)

2. Apothecary Diaries

(Black cat/golden retriever dynamic. I just love Japan/Korea's takes on fictional ancient China like Alchemy of Souls and Akatsuki no Yona. Lots of court intrigue, some mysteries to solve and what not. Also, the frog. 🐸)

3. A sign of affection

(Cute. Wholesome. Pretty art. Top-tier shoujo romance. I just fold when their love language is being known 💖)

4. Frieren

(Elf mage is immortal and spends the rest of her life remembering. Sad but healing. The episodes just make me cry but in a good way 🥲)

5. 7th Time Loop

(Idk what to say just like the title says villainess regresses back in time everytime she dies. I will live and die by this trope. You will have to pry it from my cold dead hands🔪)

℘. when izu has his lunch break, he makes a list of things he wants to watch and do with you, his favs are 8-10 episodes netflix series because he can binge-watch them on his free day with you in his arms

℘. the whole wedding process caused izuku so much anxiety. he installed pinterest and made a board "wedding <3"

℘. he really really tried to handle it himself but he gave up, too much anxiety. you were tired of seeing him sacrifice his sleep for the wedding and hired a wedding planner instead 💀

℘. izu was relieved, he wanted it to be perfect and who can make it more perfect than a professional ?

℘. he wanted the wedding to be private, it was about 30 people and no media was allowed HOWEVER he posted the wedding pictures on his social media and broke the internet

I thought I'd write you something, as a small thank you for writing our requests. The inspiration for this was me looking at various screenshots and fanarts of Bela, like the Bela simp I am, and wanting a snippet of the fluffy side of our fav blondie liking praise. My writing's rusty sorry but I hope you enjoy~

Your beloved was beautiful, this was a known fact. The first time you saw Bela, you felt the breath get knocked out of your lungs when she glanced your way.

Of course, she knew she was good-looking and maybe you just thought this because you were more than a little bit obsessed with her but you were certain she didn't know just how good-looking she was.

You were both lounging by the fire in the library, laughing and catching up with each other's days. Bela was telling you about her sisters' antics, a fond smile betraying her faux annoyance as she played with the band on your ring finger and you couldn't help but stare in awe. Something about the warmth of the fire making her hair and eyes glow gold, coupled with that smile that pressed in the dimple at her right cheek had you breathless. Even years later she still made you shy and nervous. You swallowed, a tad too loudly apparently as Bela stopped mid sentence, "-are you alright, little one?"

"I-yes! I'm fine, I just-" flickers of light highlighted the perfectly sculpted angles of her face, warm eyes completely focused on you. How did she have such full lashes?

"You're so beautiful, Bela."

She blinked, the compliment and use of her name (she was always "darling" or "my love") catching her off guard. A light blush dusted her cheeks and you continued, "You look unreal, like a masterpiece. Do you know how gorgeous you are? I can barely look at you sometimes, you're so intimidatingly pretty."

Bela turned her head from your ramblings, flushed pink down to her neck but you followed, fully intent on continuing your praise as you straddled her, cupping her jaw so she had to look at you. Her pupils were blown, lips quirked into a cute almost-grimace, like she was unsure what to do with her mouth. She looked so adorable you couldn't help but pepper kisses all over her face until she laughed out a breathy and highly unconvincing, "Stop."

You did, but couldn't help but brush back that endearingly stubborn strand of hair that always fell perfectly down her forehead. "I love you."

She kissed your palm still pressed against her cheek. "I love you too, my life."
