Had a dream last night that grian decided to do another AFK prank, where he would go to where a hermit was building in the shopping district and stand facing away from them.

Then, when they noticed him, they would go and see what he was doing! And the second they walked up to him he would

Towards them

And everytime he had changed his skin to be slightly more and more creepy when he did. And then he would vanish.

Not like fly away or anything. It would look like he had just logged out, but he was still on the tab list. He was just GONE.

It eventually reached a point where he had done it to doc so many times that doc showed up on a stream, idk if it was his stream or someone else's, but he was talking about how 'grian was too good at being eldrich and creepy without even trying. It started with his scary backroom build and ever since he had just been the most casually horrifying thing on the server'

And then you heard grian go 'well that's not a very nice thing to say' and he just APPEARED behind doc and the man screamed

It's such a minor detail but I absolutely love the way that the dialogue in the final battle against the Masked Man pauses as it's being written out. It really captures hesitation and uncertainty in Claus's movements as the combined efforts of Lucas and Hinawa finally get through to him; the first aching moments of him snapping out of his mind control and taking back his autonomy in years; the brief hesitation -- almost as though in shock and disbelief -- as the lightning deflects off the Franklin Badge and strikes Claus. It almost feels like the textboxes themselves are their own character or represent the emotional states of both Lucas and the player in that moment. Incredible.

Last night I dreamt they finally added more communication options to Splatoon in the last update. I was so excited to finally be able to say more than just "Booyah!" and "This way!"

Vividly, I remember being in the middle of a battle (on Wahoo World of all places) when I hear someone call out on the right side of the map. As I turn, I see a Splat Bomb land in front of two of my teammates. One of them raises their arm and, in the same motion as the 'This Way!' emote, they yell

"There's a BOMB!"

It takes me a moment to realize that I've never seen that text before. I look down at the bottom left corner of my screen...and this is what I see.
