I've actually been brainstorming the circumstances that Machete could conceivably use to fake his death and run away with Vasco. I was thinking that it would take "divine intervention" levels of luck (as while faking one's death is generally planned in great detail, I almost feel like the opportunity would have to land in Machete's lap for him to consider it.) I'm embarrassed that I didn't think of burning a corpse sooner. Also, he would need to take a new name, which provides a nice symmetry to his story. I wonder if he might choose Sebastian, based on those paintings he and Vasco enjoy so much? (I hope this isn't presumptuous, I'm just very invested in your characters.)

I didn't even consider the need for a name change, you're totally right. I don't know what he'd pick though. Sebastian would make sense, but I've been thinking of the possibility of them getting a cat in modern AU and naming him Sebastian, so that one is kind of taken.

I have no idea if I’ll write it, but I started thinking of Springtrap x reader plots, and then I started talking to @ravenmccookies about like... the main idea that I have.

So, imagine: Y/N is one of those people who likes to restore old things. They never worked at the attraction, and never actually knew about it, either—but they heard about something burning down.

While out walking, they end up discovering Springtrap, and they’re like: “Oh, a cool robot bunny. I’ll take it back with me and fix it up. Should be fun.” And they drag him back home.

And they basically start streaming on what they plan on doing—and when they go to the room that they were sure they left the rabbit in... he’s just gone.

Y/N manages to find him, but in a panic, ends up hitting Springtrap with a bat that they happened to have brought with them.

And that’s just how the two actually meet. I have a ton of other ideas involving this potential thing—including ideas for how it could actually end. Something angsty, I’m thinking.

But anyway: shenanigans occur.

Leona x Yuu and Healing

(just me gushing don't mind me) Listen Listen, it makes me so happy when you guys leave sweet comments or tags about my Leona fics. The connection I have developed in these fics means a lot to me and I spent alot of time on them. It legit brings me such joy to know you guys enjoy all the little details I add-in. I want their relationship to feel “lived in” and to feel that there is history between the two. After going through the events of the main story of course, as well as whatever ya'll imagine your Yuu and Leona have gone through together in your timeline. My fav trope ever is like...when someone (be it a friend or possible partner) can help you heal a bit of your inner child, yk? To me, that's what the best kind of dynamics are all about. There's the fluff sure, but the idea that "you can finally feel safe" to "be a child again" in that person's arms? OOF I think Yuu dealing with what they do on the daily needs this type of care that I believe Leona (as much as he denies it) is good at. Being caretaker. Under his gruff exterior, he's reliable, emotionally mature, and a mentor. He'd never let you feel unsafe if he cared deeply for you. And Leona as a character has a lot of healing to do and even though nothing will ever heal him completely (as is mental illness) I think it's important to him more than anything to feel like he always has someone on his "team." Someone who can dish the tough love when needed but won't judge him when he's at his lowest. Anyways, It's so rewarding to write about his inner child being about to be appreciated and loved.

New headcanon: Peri's comfort movie is The Chosen One: Ninja. It's a terrible movie, objectively speaking, but it's one of the only things he has left of Timmy. He watches it when he's sad and the awful cinematography cheers him up.
