finished watching red dwarf, good shit. i think my favourite series was the earlier series, didn't really care for series 7 (the "blue" ep good though) and 8 sadly.

10, 11, 12 were more enjoyable than i expected, though some eps were hit or miss and some ideas got reused (which is fair i suppose). liked the promised land, but the pacing was a bit weird, feel like more coulda happened.

Its a mix of both actually, while Momo certainly was responsible for what happened to him with Ogi and the masks, it deeply traumatized him seeing his friends slaughtered like that and also the realisation that he would never be able to fullfill the old couple´s wish for the mask, thus the fear that their love for him would end.

After Momo found out about his caretakers demise, these dreams became worse actually and he literally became trapped in them at one point(sort of like sleep paralysis). It´s been hard on everyone.
