I feel as though both of them would be incredibly exhausted after a mission, regardless of whether it’s gone right or wrong. They’re bloody, they’re filthy and, most importantly, they miss you. The ride home would probably be rather quiet among the two of them, with both of them being rather agitated as they’re super tired. And as soon as they’re home? As soon as they see you? Yeah, you have time to run for as long as they’re taking off their gear. Afterwards you’ll be sandwiched between two muscular men, who refuse to let go of you. They were able to cuddle each other in secret from time to time. But you? Oh, they’ve been away from you for months, so naturally they couldn’t wait to hold you in their arms again. With Alejandro spooning you from behind and you holding Rodolfo, there was no heaven that could ever hope to compare. Unfortunately, they were both quite stinky, reeking of filth and blood. Could those two not be bothered to at least wipe themselves down with a cloth? Maybe put on some deodorant? No, apparently not. They just wanted to hold onto you. I don’t think very many words would be spoken since both of them are on the verge of falling asleep as soon as they hold you. I hope you don’t need to use the bathroom because there’s no way Alejandro is letting go of you anytime soon. At least not until he’s woken up again. It’s kind of uncomfortable, they are two stinky men, after all. However, for as tired as they may be, they will try to get you to talk about anything and everything. Your voice is incredibly soothing to them and would lull them both to sleep. They’ll be back to normal once they’ve had a few hours of shut eye, but for the time being they’d prefer to not talk as much since they’re both quite agitated. Once they’ve woken up? Yeah, you’ll be stinky by then too, so they make up for it by taking a bath with you. Yes, all three of you. You’ve invested in a larger bathtub. Even there, Alejandro would still hold onto you and Alejandro. Can he help it? No, he just adores his boyfriends that much. Rodolfo would probably try to get clean and apologize to you for making you dirty as well, but Alejandro will try to find another excuse or two, or twenty, as to why you should all stay another hour in the bath. He has no shame. Once you’re clean again, everything will go as it usually does, except you now have two clingy boyfriends who demand your attention at all times. Good luck!

apologies if this is a dumb question and i won't be offended at all if you dont answer/dont know but since you've worked in libraries before i was curious if you knew how to let your library know you're interested in an audiobook they haven't purchased ? i know i used to be able to make requests on overdrive but since the switch to libby i haven't been able to figure it out. i hope youre having a lovely day whether you can help or not and appreciate you taking the time to read all this 💛

sorry for the late reply, i haven't been online much and just saw this! most public libraries will have a form on their website called something like "purchase request" or "suggest a title" that you can use to request things! people often think this is only for books, but most places will let you request audiobooks, DVDs, etc. librarians won't always add the things you request to the collection, and they often can't explain every decision in detail due to volume, so results may vary.

the one thing to be mindful of is that audiobook/ebook licensing can be really weird, and sometimes publishers do make it really difficult or impossible for libraries to license certain items! so if your library doesn't get something you ask for, that sucks and is disappointing, but please don't hesitate to keep sending in requests as you have them! that info is always super helpful for collections folks looking to add things to the library that they think you'll want and use!

Alaska and California-

Cuddles, all the cuddles, it’s what they do like 80% of the time when they’re together

Alaska will just pick Cali up at random, like it’s the more normal thing in the world, and Cali just takes it

They don’t actually talk much when together, well Alaska doesn’t, Cali yaps

Cali somehow managed to get Alaska to watch anime with them one time, it ended at ep 4 when girl + dog = lot’s of crying from the both of them

Alaska has a pet bear and Cali has the insatiable need to pet and cuddle things that can kill him

They have gone to multiple sports games together, despite Alaska not liking the crowds and Cali not like the noise or the crowds, according to Cali it’s “a bonding experience to watch your team win while on the bring of either shutting down or a panic attack” 

Cali does sketches of Alaska throughout the day, sometimes the drawings include other states but normally it’s just him, then at the end of the day Cali will give them all to Alaska who proceeds to put them all on the fridge in the garage

Winter vacay is determined by a coin flip, it’s normally with Alaska (it’s not rigged, Alaska just always picks the right side)

Cali tried to get Alaska to understand the appeal video games, then ended up getting demolished by him because of tilt control on Mario Kart

Alaska taught Cali how to ice fish, how to safely skate on open ice, and how to be silent in the woods

The two are just very close, Cali is an outcast not by choice and Alaska is one by choice, it’s an interesting relationship

Cali was incredibly close to telling Alaska about the fact that he writes fanfics, they didn’t but the fact that he was going to is something of note

Cali steals Alaska’s hoodies and shirts since they SWIM in them

Have I mentioned cuddles? Because that is basically what the whole relationship is built upon, cuddles. So. Many. Cuddles.

monday quest is to order the couple of supplies i need for a project. this is challenging to me because it combines 2 things that melt my brain: 'online shopping' and 'deciding between similar but subtly different things'. HOWEVER i can do it!!! and it will be fun to make things when they arrive >:) side quest make a different dinner, i have got some fresh fish to try and i have never cooked with it before due to we always bought it frozen. worst thing that can happen is it doesn't agree with my health stuff and i do not cook it again 👍 i'm making it so basic style for this reason. i feel like it could be delicious!

I'm gonna start with ArmKhun.

I see Tankhun proposing to Arm. I could see him throwing himself into planning it in order to make it perfect, aesthetically pleasing, and romantic, but also keeping it private because he thinks Arm will appreciate the intimacy of a private proposal. I also think he would want it private due to how many people have perceived and treated him post-kidnapping. While he loves seeing big, beautiful, and public proposals on YouTube, he feels like he doesn't need to put on a show with Arm and wants to keep it that way in order to keep the proposal genuine and heartfelt. But he would totally shell out money for a ring that fits Arm's interests and style, as well as on decor to make the proposal location stunning.

The wedding it going to be gorgeous as well, and the reception will be wild. So wild that they may delay their flight to their honeymoon destination for a day to recover from their hangovers.

Nikolai is a pretty laid back and chill sort of man, so he usually doesn’t mind you putting your hand over his heart. Maybe not while you’re walking, though, he doesn’t want you to trip. It’s very sweet to him: You wanna make sure that he’s alive? That he’s still with you? That his heart is still beating? Trust me, not even death could take him away from you. He’d dig his way out of his grave after killing the reaper with his bare hands himself. You can always put your hand over his chest while you’re at home together, though. It’s nice to feel you. After a while it would be reassuring to him as well, feeling that you’re there, that you’re with him. He thinks it’s sweet that you always want to be touching him, because if it was up to you he’d do the same thing with you. After some time, once he’s realized that you’re always touching him whenever you can, he tries to get into positions that facilitate you touching him a bit. Usually lies on his back when you’re cuddling so you have full access to him. Can and will fall asleep like that, but will also want to hold you back. Will also put his hand over your heart as well so he can “get back at you”. In reality, feeling your heartbeat is also just nice and reassuring to him. However, he sometimes might lie on your chest in order to hear it as well, something like it lulls him to sleep, after all. You can put your hand over his chest in public as well, though, he doesn’t particularly mind cuddling in public either. There’s a good chance you’ll be nicely clothed, though, so you won’t feel his heartbeat unless you slip your hand under his clothes. You can do that, he doesn’t care about strangers staring in public. However, once it’s time to continue walking around, release him. You can continue your antics once you’ve found another nice bench to sit on.
