I do keep making writing hard for myself by working on fics that are like ot3 kid fics with co-parents-to-lovers vibes bc then it’s not just 1 romantic relationship ur developing it’s 4 (3 sides of a triangle plus all 3 together ) and 3 x however many children there are to have them have actual dynamics

alright. know what? with Secrets of the Obscure right around the corner and plenty of new Mists-related sky island settings coming with it, I'll just bite the bullet and interest-check a little something I've been turning in my head for a long, long while.

would YOU be interested in a Mists-based GW2 roleplay guild that uses a lore compliant multiverse system to allow canon, canon-adjacent, lore-breaking, and otherwise 'contradictory' muses to coexist in the same setting?

simply put: every writer's cast would be set in their own self-contained universe. as such, everyone could bring whatever muses they want with their own personal headcanons, and no one could dictate what is or isn't canon for anyone else. so long as your muses are GW2-based, you're good to go! bring your Commanders, bring your canon-divergent OCs, bring your canon muses-- and yes, even the ones that are 'supposed' to be dead. who can say what might have happened in a strange world far across the Mists, after all?

neutral hubs and in-character safety guardrails would be in place to keep all muses on a relatively even playing field regardless of their power, history, and prestige, too. play hardball if you like, but it might not end quite the way you'd hope. the main rule would be to maintain good OOC etiquette at all times: no godmodding, no metagaming, no theft, don't blend IC and OOC, and so-on.

Vultures are pretty cool. I've thought about their perspective before, imagine flying but barely flapping your wings, and for such long distances and periods, just scouting the land below to look for food. this blog has turned into “weird dragon thing talks and also does other things” instead of “artist” but It’d probably be morally wrong if I deprived the world from my authentic self and that self is very.. fluid and honest and vocal about a variety of things, and I think the most important part of a creators career should be that they’ve never stopped doing what they do best.

My blog might not make the most notes because I don’t really follow internet popularity algorithm rules, but its definitely a blog that communicates to people, whether it be popular or not.

even if someone makes a mistake, it’s admirable that they never stopped being themselves, I think.

The one weird thing about being obsessed with a ship like Espilver is that now I try to see the Espilver dynamic in every other ship I have any amount of thoughts about and what’s weirder is that somehow I almost always see it like something just clicks

Hmm, I wonder if that is possible because the only thing we really have for Espilver is Rivals 2, and the IDW comic story if it counts. With that I mean that there is much room for fans to fill the gaps about their relationship: we know how the respect plays out between them, we know that Silver is presented as the leader of their two-man team who Espio defers to, we know that Espio despite that still steps in with ideas and plans of his own that Silver respects and follows, and we know that Espio gives Silver encouragement in the moment Silver's hope is waning. But that is kind of it: we just don't really see them in a situation where they are not on a mission, and that gives a broad range of stories and ideas we can think up for them. So, there's many dynamics that fans have created around them, haha! Thus, if there's a dynamic you like in particular and have given to Espilver, I figure it's easy to see it in other pairings you like as well?

The way I feel about fall out boy is the same way I feel about dean, which is like, I could wax poetic about this for hours. They have changed me as a person for the better, they have changed the way I see the world, they have changed the way I exist and interact with it, and I genuinely just unabashedly adore them. They are So Important and I’m so thrilled that I got to grow up with them 🥺

The way I feel watching Pete on stage sing the songs he wrote when he was suicidal, is the same way that seeing a job application on dean’s desk at the end of the show makes me feel. Like “oh, there IS hope. It DOES get better. There is a light at the end of this tunnel. I just have to keep going.”

Like, Pete didn’t think he’d make it past 27. and now he’s a dad in his early 40’s! And he’s happy! And dean spent his entire life, the entire show, thinking that he couldn’t be anything other than a hunter, but he had plans! He was going to apply for a job! He got a dog!
