Meet my OC, Hoshi!!

Hoshi's race is called Yogan, and they live on a planet called Planet Fogo. it is an extremely hot planet, but they can live just fine on it. they even thrive there compared to others who would in incinerated upon touching the surface. but that comes with them being hot-bodied creatures. the species are all naturally short, just barely going over 5ft and mostly staying around 4ft. They are also an extremely kind race and heavily rely on each other since they're all they have while out in a very empty area of space. visits never happen, so they try to cherish each other's company. Yogan's also have an extended life span, going to about 2 thousand years old. (but this is just an idea, it's not solid yet.) but with Hoshi what makes her so special is her ability to absorb energy from her opponents and manipulate the ki to be her own, copying move sets and even the behaviors of the person she takes the energy from. the ability is only seen in 1 out of 1 thousand. so she got lucky with it. but she does have her limits. being greedy and taking too much takes a heavy toll on her body and can actually be lethal. but slowly over time as she ages she can take in more and more and it has no heavy repercussions.

Upon their first meeting, Ki'to was wary of this fellow Miqo'te; mysterious and competitive, but willing to admit defeat all the same. It wasn't until NOAH was formed and the Crystal Tower breached that Ki'to became endeared to G'raha. He was a kind man, but still a bit... immature? Can't really think of a better word at the moment.

Cut to The First, and Ki'to was impressed with how much more mature and wise this "Exarch" had become. Though, I imagine the 100+ years well afforded him that.

I suppose, in a few words; he went from wanting to protect him to wanting to stand at his side. From "Stand behind me" to "I trust you have my back"

How did he feel when the door to the Crystal Tower closed on G'raha after the defeat of the Cloud of Darkness? Was he bereft? Philosophical? Or confident that G'raha had made the right decision?

Oh gods, he wouldn't show it but that man was beside himself...

Never would Ki'to willingly leave a friend behind. Ever. So to see those doors shut and seal, even knowing it was the right thing to do, all things considered... He spent many a sleepless night in the Rising Stones after that. Memories danced in his dreams and sleep would come no more, just worry. Worry and regret...

Y'shtola got very good at knowing which mornings he'd need a shot of espresso.

Perhaps it was only later, when he met an older, wiser (and slightly more mineralised) G'raha that his feelings developed? How did he feel about the Crystal Exarch before he realised who he was? Or did he know straight away?

Oh, the feelings were there after the Crystal Tower. A latent bud, but definitely there. Even Ki'to didn't realize until Raha reached out to summon him to the First, when the voice alone made his eyes grow wide.

Though he likes to put faces to names, voices are often a defining trait of familiarity for Ki'to. He could hear a familiar voice a malm away and know exactly who it belonged to. (Exceptions, of course, exist if it was the voice of a child who's grown or someone very good at mimicry or disguising their voice)

This sole reason is why Ki'to would never begrudge the voice reaching out before Shadowbringers began, only fight off the pain and try to understand. And why he willingly submit when he found that cog.

So, trust me, there was never any divide between G'raha and the Crystal Exarch in his mind. Though he did play along, however poorly. And you'd best bet if there was any dialogue option where he could call him by his name or otherwise reassure him, it was chosen without hesitation.

That said, he did grow to truly love him over their time in the First. The initial relief and happiness was definitely there when they met at the gate, but to see how wise, dependable, and kind he had become in his years, and how much love the people of the Crystarium bore him; it's hard to pinpoint when he knew what he felt, but nothing could deny the love and heartbreak he felt after Vauthry's demise. Not only learning of his plans of self-sacrifice, but to be shot down as well. It was really the only time he ever felt hatred towards Emet-Selch in their time together, if I'm honest. But also, in hindsight, a lingering thankfulness.

That, and after Elidibus' demise...

I don't think I've wept more over a cutscene. So very proud of him, yet at the same time to see him engulfed by crystal and not know for certain if the memories would resonate with the G'raha of his timeline... He's good at holding back tears until he's alone, but not then. Definitely not then.

So, the elation he felt when G'raha was brought back to him in the Source could leave no doubt about what he felt. And in the time before he is introduced back in Revenant's Toll, Ki'to most definitely confessed.

And then of course there was the whole discussion about "Oh, hey, I love you but I also have a husband back in Ishgard. You cool with that? 'Cause he's cool with it if you are-" It likely got talked about fully over tea when Aymeric was in the area. xD

╰┈➤ diluc does not understand the concept of minecraft but its okay, he’s just happy to be here. he also doesn’t call it minecraft but “cave game”, the original name, he did his research though it is rare that he actually calls it minecraft. found out that you could breed animals and accidentally made a pack of wolves. diluc is really good with redstone its actually insane😭 he’s the type to protect you the whole time while you’re getting flowers for the house, boyfriend bodyguard. diluc doesn’t play much because of his job but when he does, he’s prepared to sit for hours and spend time with you :(. these are the times where he’s most affectionate, randomly kissing your cheek, getting water for the both of you before you play, etc. luc loves the mod pack “industrial”, he can build machines, how neat is that??? also it has way more OMFP with the added features it has yk? he likes the trains :D

╰┈➤ kazuha has the most expensive equipment yet doesn’t use this shit half of the time unless he’s streaming with heizou??? like im talking msi infinite rs pc, multiple monitors, a graphic drawing tablet, headphones with immaculate sound quality AND!!! the ear cups have fucking cyberpunk 3d wing guards on them. but anyways, minecraft, yes, he plays. in fact, kaedehara has about 10 beaten hardcore worlds every time a new update comes out, he must beat the game again. he rarely plays minecraft without his shaders so when you want to play the original og minecraft, he doesn’t mind, he actually enjoys the nostalgia. so much so the music is actually his background music when he’s just lazing around. words cannot express how much he dislikes (hates) wardens omg. he’ll protect you from them but if there were diamonds behind a warden, ig he’s going somewhere else😭 kazuha gives you random shit, weather that be something really sweet or questionable…

╰┈➤ xiao has the MOST downloaded mod packs, shaders, and worlds. not very expensive mod packs most of the time but when they are, they’re always good. spends his time fighting off mobs at night, #1 totem holder. he even has his own custom skin!!! he’s kinda been waiting for you to ask so when you do play mc together, you already have your own room, but when you voluntarily move your bed into his room to sleep… he melts. xiao loves cuddling while the two of you play, he’d rather your arms around him than the other way around, feels more intimate. you have matching hoodies for occasions like this. he has the dragon mod pack and has his own golden and orange dragon named ‘li’. he doesn’t talk while gaming, curses silently when he gets hit, but other than that doesn’t talk. if you want to talk, he’ll listen, he likes hearing about your day :].

A sorta rant about Sam from Stardew Valley and his 4 heart event cuz i cant sleep and hes my wee lil goober

So apparently sam is a pretty underrated bachelor mainly due to his behaviour and personality in heart events that can cause him to come off as “immature and too young” which yea it’s understandable. So this is coming off from a perspective of a almost 20 year old uni student who really find Sam rather interesting and relatable.

So seems like a lot of people tend to point out his 4 and 10 heart events (sometime 6 even) as to their reason on finding Sam like a bit distasteful. I wanna talk about his 4 heart event cuz the more i looked back onto it, the more it hits me and find him very relatable in terms of personal experiences. So lemme bring up his 4 hear event and give yall my personal lense of it.

The 4 heart event has Sam trying to get you a snack but dropped an egg by accident, which caught Jodi’s attention.

And of course Sam seemed distressed about it, and so is Jodi’s reaction as she got mad about something as minuscule as an egg crack on the kitchen floor. We as the player has to be the one to tell Jodi what happen (where you can either tell what actually happened or choose to lie and say you dropped the egg btw)

Pretty much the best option is to lie and say you did it, and Jodi forgives you and plays it cool ofc. Jodi gives off the same reaction when you tell the truth and said that Sam dropped by accident.

I’m guessing that’s because it’s YOU who’s telling her what happened rather than it coming from Sam, which of course Jodi would be a bit more forgiving so she would cause a scene in front of their guest. Had you not been there and its just a casual day in their household, it’s likely that Sam will get hella berated and scolded by Jodi over an egg.

It seems very subtle I guess but Sam not responding to Jodi’s question may be the cause of previous experience with causing minor accidents around the house and getting scolded by his Mom. He may also seem really scared to respond with the truth, fearing his mom’s reaction hence relies on you to do the talking.

And personally, this had happened to me a lot growing up, with my mom literally scolding the fuck outta me if I ever made a minor mess or an accident around the house, so it did impacted me growing up anf maturing into adulthood. I remember as a kid I had to lie a lot because i fear that she would shout at me or worse hit me and yikes that got a wee bit dark didnt it bruh.

Sam may have not mature out in that department and of course it would have to do with his upbringing, being raised by Jodi and having an absent father as well which i’d say makes him hard to be mentally matured.

So yea i guess that all i gotta say and since this is all just speculation and basically my interpretation of this heart event, do take it with a grain of salt.

I might make a revised version of this to make it more cohesive and shit, i mean like i literally am writing this at 3am so meow :3

next ones i got is NorixYeva/Neva- Solverlilies- i just think theyre neat 😭😭😭 and once again, like everything else in this franchise- they are tragic yuris 😔 damn liam im finding a pattern over here 🤨 anyway, i like to think they either got closer in the lab experimentations or were already close when they were working as WDs in the campsite area for the humans. obviously canonically they were probably straight or just not into eachother romantically- [Nori either u have the worst taste men or Khan just fucking lost it after you died-] but also on the other handddd.... they have 2 hands and they are robots, i want them to kiss like two barbie dolls and im gonna make them do just that-

Dolls disdain for the murder drones pushed her to end up the way she did. maybe if she didnt do it alone she would have been alive by now. so i like to think what would have happened if she and V could have made up- not necessarily Doll forgiving her- but at least having the space to grow and understand why they did they things that happened.

Cyn and literally ANYONE- i want the solver to be SEPARATE from Cyn- i wish Cyn would have still existed somewhere down there and was savable- i wish this poor child AI had a happy ending to her by connecting with the others as ACTUAL siblings... goddamnit 😔

Little Moments | Dad!Steve x Mom!Reader

summary: A lazy Sunday morning with Steve and your two daughters

It’s a rare occurrence for you and Steve to wake up alone in your bed and when you did, it was a bittersweet feeling. Of course you both loved the alone time, but you also missed cuddles with your babies.

Today was one of those mornings.

You were up before Steve and by some miracle, your two daughters were still sound asleep.

Steve was lying on his side, facing you and he looked so dreamy.

His lips were slightly parted and sure, he might’ve drooled a little, but he was still as breathtaking as ever.

You move closer to him and lay on your side to admire him.

You start to grow restless and begin to slowly trace over his features with your index finger.

Your finger gently glides over his brow bone and he twitches, making you stop in case he wakes.

After a few seconds, you trace his cheekbone, then the bridge of his nose, his cupid's bow, and then his lips. You do it over and over again, while admiring his freckles that you’ve seen a thousand times. You’ll never get tired of staring at him.

“Mm that feels nice” Steve says, keeping his eyes closed.

“How long have you been awake, Mr. Harrington?” You trace your finger over his lips one last time and he gives your fingertip a kiss.

“Long enough, Mrs. Harrington. Are the goobers up yet?” He finally opens his eyes and your heart warms at the sight of his golden irises.

“Do you really think it would be this peaceful if they were up?” You answer and he chuckles.

He moves to lay on his back and motions for you to snuggle up to him.

You lay your head on his chest and let your arm rest around his waist. He wraps an arm around your shoulders and pulls you in as close as possible.

“Do you not love me anymore?” He asks in a faux serious tone.

“What?” You move your head to look up at him.

“I have yet to receive my morning kiss. Should I be expecting divorce papers?”

You roll your eyes. “So dramatic”

You give a peck. Then two pecks. Then three pecks that turn into a slow, intense kiss.

You don’t move for what feels like hours.

“Wanna get lucky?” He wiggles his eyebrows and you’re about to say yes when you hear two little feet pitter-patter down the hallway. You give him one last kiss as a way to rain check your morning plans. 

Your bedroom door opens and your oldest, Olivia, stands in the doorway. “Mommy?”

“Hi, baby. Good morning.” Her hair is an absolute mess, much like yours and Steve’s, and her pajamas are uncomfortably twisted and out of whack. She’s so cute you just wanna squeeze her.

“Want me to fix your pjs, Liv?” You offer and she walks over to the bed. You go to help her up, but as she told you last time she got in your bed, she’s a big girl now. She balls the sheets in her fists to pull herself up.

She plops herself in your lap and you straighten her pajamas out. You kiss her forehead and her little arms wrap around your neck, snuggling into you. Your heart swells so much it might burst.

“What is up with my girls not giving me love this morning?” Steve reaches out and tickles her, causing her to giggle uncontrollably.

“Momma, help me!” She exclaims, still laughing and you start playfully fighting off Steve.

He moves to sit on his knees. “I think mommy needs tickles too”

All of the sudden, there’s a tickle war and the room is filled with laughter. “Okay, okay! I’m calling a truce!” You cry out and Steve retreats, falling back on the bed. You lie back on the pillows and Olivia lays on your stomach. Steve admits he's a little jealous, but he’ll never get over the sight of his girls snuggling.

Eventually, she finds her way into Steve’s lap and he sticks his tongue out at you. “You’re daddy’s girl, huh?”

“Yeah! Mommy’s too!” She’s perfect.

Moments of silence pass until you hear Claire crying and you suddenly feel terribly guilty.

“I got her,” Steve assures you. Livvy crawls over to snuggle you again.

“Why is sissy sad?” Olivia asks, concerned. She looks up at you and is an exact replica of her dad. You can’t help but give her cheeks a squeeze.

“Oh, baby, she’s not sad. She just can’t walk or talk yet, so that’s how we know she needs something” You rub her back to comfort her. She truly is the best big sister. Her and Claire are two years apart, so you were worried about jealousy issues, but Liv adores her baby sister.

Steve always says it’s because she has your heart of gold.

You always say it’s because she has his heart of gold.

You and Liv start to drift back to sleep until Steve walks back in the room.

“Diapers changed and she just had her bottle” He informs you. You give him a loving smile as a thank you.

“How’s my Claire-bear? I’m sorry we had a tickle fight without you, hun” You move to give her a kiss and Olivia does the same.

She coos and smiles at you. She’s always been a smiley baby. “Because she’s gonna be a goofball just like her mom” you recall Steve saying and it makes you smile.

Steve shifts closer to you. He has Claire laying on his chest while Liv lays on yours. Once everyone’s comfortable, he throws an arm around you and kisses the top of your head.

“Liv, are you hungry, baby?” You ask in a worried tone.

“Wanna go back to sleep, mommy”

“She’s fine, babe. You’re the best mom in the history of moms, promise” Steve reassures you, knowing you’ve been struggling with mom guilt. “Isn’t that right, Livvy?”

“You’re my favorite mommy ever” She says and a yawn follows shortly after. You kiss the top of her head in appreciation.

You all fall back asleep in a snuggle pile. It’s a little claustrophobic and you’re definitely starting to sweat, but it’s the best feeling in the world.

You can’t wait for tomorrow morning and every morning after that.

Good evening fandom! Welcome to my inaugural mini review post. Holy hell I can’t believe we’re finally here. These probably won’t be as detailed as normal like I mentioned. Mini review is the goal. It’ll be initial thoughts and feelings. Which will be fun cause all the other seasons other than S5 I had ton of time to reflect on moments. These thoughts for S6 could change when I rewatch the season for review purposes this summer. The exciting thing is having those first reactions. That's what these will be.

So you're getting hot off the presses thoughts haha I just watched it couple hours ago. These are thoughts I had while it was happening. With some editing to make it readable ha Want my reactions be as authentic as possible with these. Why I avoid spoilers tbh. Be interested in seeing what everyone else’s are as well. The gif library was an absolute turd so I didn't get to use all the gifs that were made yet. So I made some. Anyways this so friggin exciting to delve into so let’s get started.

6x01 Strike Back

Tim got scruffier from the finale to now-and I’m here for it. Mm. Plus he's in Metro gear. Phew Lord. Something about scruffy Tim gets me going. Adore them riding together automatically after their battle. I truly love it. The little things I continually love with them. Also LOVING the Metro call sign. Yum If this going to be his call sign all season I am about it.

Oh my lord why is her sitting at his desk so squee worthy to me? It’s getting me all in my feels. I love that Lucy can just use his office as her own. So cute using it to steal it for some study time. I love this so very much. Then her asking if they can ride together so he can quiz her? Tim doesn’t hesitate for a moment before saying yes.

Still amazes me we’re in the place with them. The Tim of old would’ve groaned and moaned about such a task. He jumps right on it for her. Ready to help her out. Even though he’s not sure how much it’s gonna do. Clearly very aware Primm is out to get her. That is common knowledge now.

Lucy is right when she says it sucks. That she has to battle this and face possible wild cards.. It isn’t fair when she's earned her spot more than most. Fought and clawed for everything she's done in this department. Definitely more than Nolan... Hey wouldn't be a review if I didn't pot shot Nolan would it? lol I love Tim finding a solution for them. Saying they can take out do the box calls all day. Widen her knowledge a bit on it. Sharpen her skills with odd calls.

I love her grateful smile when she says 'Thank you.' Loves this man. Damnit they’re so cute their banter coming out of his office is on point. Tim saying she learns best when she’s pissed off. I mean if that isn’t her rookie experience with him in a sentence. Lucy saying this feels like she is giving him permission to be an ass. Heh it kinda is no matter what Tim says.

You know he kinda loves being able to make her his boot again in some form. He is going to enjoy himself with this. There is no doubt about it. That's why he's doing that smile of his. Lucy calling him out knowing this man so well. Pointing her finger and all. God I love these idiots so much. Tim trying to tell her just his smile. Uh huh sure it is Tim.... Lucy following after him with a smile of her own. These dopes I've missed them so damn much.

I’m very much loving Tim has not really shaved in 6 weeks ha. The scruffy remains and I’m excited about it. Lucy is starting to question asking Tim to help her. We all know she learns best from that man sitting next to her though. I also always enjoy when she gets to drive. Another micro shift that has changed that I love so much. Her heart eyes when he says Angela’s cop brain is just booting up LOL Loves this goober of man.

Lucy absolutely losing it and going on a rant of epic proportions had me rolling. LOL Massive emotional downward spiral happening here. I’m dying as I watch Tim take it in. God Eric the master of expressions crushing it again. This was a huge one for her holy crap. Nuclear really. Well done Melissa getting all that in with one breath basically. By the time she’s done I’m cackling at Tim’s expression. LMAO Oh my god these two. God I’ve missed them so much it pained me.

Lucy knowing Tim's reply without even looking at him. Just epic married status at this point. Doesn’t even have to look at him or for Tim to say anything. It’s already there because of that crazy good connection they have. How deeply they know one another. It’s so good. Tim being the smart man he is says nothing. Lucy knowing he’s thinking it haha

Lucy coming to conclusion she will do crazy wild card during the day and the manual at night. She will sleep when it's over LOL Tim shaking his head. Knowing there is nothing he can say right now that'll make this better. Or to derail her crazy train of thought. This is like S1/S2 them with the added benefit of them being together now. It’s glorious.

Getting serious Plain Clothes Day vibes from this episode as well. Except this time Lucy light years away from who she was then. Confidently reciting what she’s going to do Tim nodding along. Tim wouldn’t be himself if he didn’t rock her boat a little though. Lucy getting in her head about the crime scene now. Tim isn’t wrong she did tick all the obvious boxes. That the point of today is looking for wild cards. That’s what he wants her to engage that brilliant brain of her's in. It's why he's here.

To zero in on the 'Out of the box thinking'. Poor Lucy spirals out not being able to decide if she wants his help or not. I ADORE Tim telling her it’s ok to not know the answer. Not shaming her in the least just needing her to make a call. God how far we’ve come. Tim pushes her because he knows that is when she learns best. Trying to add a little urgency to her decision making. Unfortunately it backfires. I kinda loved them calling each other by their ranks in this heated exchange.

Lucy is so flustered it’s giving me PCD vibe once again in the best way. The sprinklers turn on and Lucy panics. There’s the wild card….We watch as a bullet leaves this man’s body and enters the storm drain never to be seen again. Lucy being so very disappointed in herself. It’s reminiscent of the disappointment she showed in s1 but only now she's far more experienced. So it hurts much more now….Oh Lucy my heart. You poor thing. Couldn’t have gone more wrong if she tried.

I can’t believe they played clown music upon her entrance.... Beyond cruel but that's cops. Always taking shots when people mess up spectacularly. Tim trying not laugh.... Babe she is spiraling right now maybe don’t lol Poor thing I would be mortified too. I love how both Tim and Lucy smile when they see Wes and the wee one. My heart. She wants Wes's opinion and he just crushes her with logic. Ugh She needs a hug. Bad day for our girl.

Lucy continues to break my heart as they sit in front of the crime scene. She is on the verge of tears. Verge of a breakdown it feels like as well. Killing me softly. Saying she should skip the detectives exam. My girl. Tim doesn't want her to give up. I will say this fight I feel like I would be Tim. Trying to be so supportive it’s come off as agreeing with her she can’t do it. When really he was just trying to be supportive of whatever she wants.

Can't win for losing right now Timothy. She is in a bad way right now. Lucy has some weight to her argument though. if I was her in this moment I would feel the same way. If I’m in a bad headspace I need reassurances. So I can relate to both of them in this fight. It’s not a fun time for either of them. Tim is still learning that emotional depth he needs to have with her in these moments.

Being supportive has worked before so he's not sure why it's backfiring right now. They’re solid but always room to grow beauty of them. Lucy spots someone pull up to crime scene crying. She has them peel out with Tim not really understanding why. Lucy catching her digging through her trash. She ends up getting a confession. Phew Well done Luce.

Oooh this final scene. Oh my damn lord. This is some PRIMO productive angst holy hell. Eric and Melissa came out swinging with it. I knew they were going to have one more scene about it. I just didn't think it would be this explosive. I adore Tim picking up on how short she is with him. Grabbing her by the arm and confronting her. Growth continuous growth for them both continues to show. Love it. Look at Tim being the one to come at this. I’m so proud of him.

Throwing her words from 5x21 somewhat back at her. Saying this isn’t going to work if she isn’t honest with him. Then Lucy really lays into him. Now do I think he purposely undermined her? No I don’t. Not ever. That’s not in his DNA to do that to someone he loves. I was deeply hurt for him when she suggested this. You can see how hurt he is when she says as such. He’s getting emotional and it makes me as well. I just wanna hug him.

Tim as we know is a DEEPLY loyal person. Also one of my main relations to him as a character. To purposely hurt someone they love isn’t fathomable to a loyal person. It's unthinkable. You have to hurt them first. To undermine Lucy would be to hurt her so he would never. To be accused of such by your favorite person? That cut's so insanely deep for him. I haven’t seen him this hurt since the 'Tim Test' line from her in 4x08. I’m legit wounded for him. He is so upset she could think that of him.

Now Lucy might be onto something with the subconscious part. He could’ve done it not realizing what he was doing. Because love isn’t rational. Man is hardwired to protect her and want to keep her safe. So I could see this especially with her psych background. I think this is solid guess at what happened. Now was this the right time to lash out at him for Isabel stuff? I don’t know…

Felt like a low blow when he was already down for the count. She is throwing him daggers with her eyes most of this conversation. Feels like its more than just the UC right now but that's just my guess at this point. Let's not forget she was having UC doubts towards the end of last season.

Now do they need to have these fights and conversations? HELL YES. My god this subject needs to be discussed. Especially with how 5x20-5x21 were. Want to reiterate this is my first impression. I was literally writing this as I experienced their fight for first time. When I rewatch it this summer this could change. My POV could shift. But right now I see a man who only thought he had her back and was raked across the coals in this moment.

So for me right now in this moment I feel like Lucy had pent up frustrations and took it out on Tim. The protective side of me for him isn’t pleased with that tbh. Doesn't mean I love Lucy any less. I adore her so much. You all know that. But my gut leaned towards Tim in this fight. That may be bias idk but it’s how I felt when it was said and done. Tim was very very defensive when she brought up Isabel. Which hasn't happened in awhile. But his emotions were heightened and he was on the defensive before they'd reach the topic of her.

Lucy basically kicked him while he was down and he felt it. I'm not discounting her feelings at all. She is allowed to feel overwhelmed. Has every right to be. She is STRESSED and it is coming out in all kinds of ways. Ways that aren't like her. I think she stewed on this thought the ENTIRE shift and it came out in the worst way. Which also isn't like her. What she did had him defaulting back to old school Tim. Cutting off the conversation before more emotions were to be had or he said something he would regret.

Basically cut the fight off at the knees and walked away. Lucy’s face says it all when he walks away. She wasn’t expecting that. Shocked he just left her like that. Oh Lucy, you wounded him more than once and he retreated HARD. Leaving her standing there wondering what the hell just happened? God this is so good though everyone. This is the type of angst I'm all for. What a way to start the season off hot damn. Hurts so good angst to get us going. I could not be more excited for where we go this season. Who are these friggin people? They’re insanely ruthless. Like Rosalind level ruthless in how they just dispose of people. Sending two their team out as a distraction to be blown up. Jesus. essay I made for the fun of ep 7 & 8

Just don’t kill me for this

You know, call me crazy, call me bias, but the more I think the plot over, the more I start to think that nuzi isn’t gonna work out in the end or it’s gonna fail in some way. 

Think about it, really think about it. Have we seen N and Uzi make a spark between each other so far? No, plus now that we know that J’s possibly gonna be in one of the final episodes, she definitely helped V in some way when she was entering the labs. 

Also are we not gonna talk about the first drawing of Uzi by Liam? The one that predicted majority of what the episodes were gonna be about? 

Uzi has a heart crossed out beside her, that has to mean something. Everything on that picture always means something’s gonna happen. So here’s what I think will happen:

Uzi decides to sacrifice herself, maybe she felt like it was better for her to go for the sake of her people and the ones she cared about  

N sacrifices himself, and she has no love 

My third one was that she didn’t like like anyone and lacked the want for romantic love, but that was stupid 

Another pointer (and people are gonna call me stupid and bias for this but I’m gonna get back to nuzi in a minute), the spark 

“Electric love- The touch of a love interest will either literally or metaphorically feel like a shock of electricity.”

According to tvtropes.org, creators of certain works tend to use this trope to tell the reader that the character’s love interest is the one or that the character is making a connection to them. At this moment, N and V are making a connection, the day that they met was a huge impact on their story together in the manor. 

It was obvious that N loved V in this scene, and we see more of this in ep 5 in the library where he was reading to V despite her being in a stasis like state. He cares for V and still does to this day. 

“Is V…okay? Like, in the future?” 

- N, Episode 5: “Home” 

And listen I know I’m looking at the past eNVy, but it still plays a role at how N and V looks at each other now. I know that most of you guys disagree with this and that present eNVy is a lost cause. But you want to know why I still have hope for those goobers?

Because I saw this subplot before 

Character meets another character (love interest), they fall in love- (N and V meet for the first time, this isn’t really dug into much) 

Something happens for them not to be together, and only one of them knows- (manor massacre, the trio turning into DDs) 

One of the characters tries to push the other away to protect them (secretly out of love), only making it worse- (V trying to kill Uzi in Cabin Fever)

Character (og love interest) leaves- (V sacrificing herself for the others, no I’m not saying that the scene was primarily for the shipping y’all can shut up abt it)

Am I the only one seeing the pattern here? This plot normally ends with the character coming back to their original love interest in the end of the story, about no matter what happens between two characters, they’ll always find a way back to the other. 

How? By said character (og love interest) coming back in a dire time. (possibly at the end of ep 7) 

And now for how V treated N, again in the third dash she’s doing just that, trying to protect him for the truth bc she thought he couldn’t take it. And yes, it wasn’t nice for her to do the things she did to N in that time, but I’ll always remember this conversation between the two. 

“V, if you’re hiding something, we can figure it out together. Even if we each have the pieces, please, what do you know—“

-N before getting his head chopped off by V, Episode 2: “The Promening”

“What’s best for you, even if you hate me for it.”

-V, Episode 2: “The Promening” 

“Even if you hate me for it.”, V knew what she signed up for when it came down to protecting N (again another example for the lil subplot I listed above). We see her actively push N away from the truth throughout the series, which results in him wanting to dig even deeper as to what’s actually going on. Sure, she could’ve just spilled the beans to N, but where’s the fun in that (Story wise)? 

And now that we know we’ll get a J plush once episode 7 or 8 releases, there’s no doubt that she helped V escape and/or kill the sentinels. There could also be a possibility that while the sentinels were dragging V back alive, J bumped into them and saved her like that. But who knows? 

However, I do not agree with what she did to N, it was mean and unacceptable. I’m only saying this bc I saw this plot before where there was a mean character that did the other wrong but it was to protect them (that, or they didn’t know how to show it, but the second one’s ridiculous). 

Now onto nuzi 

Look at their hands 

There is no spark when they intertwine their hands. Think back to what I said previously on how sparks are important when it comes to romantic relationships in robots. Throughout ep 4-6, there was no spark. And even in the season finale trailer, still no spark. 

I believe that nuzi will fail not for the fun of it, but we know how Liam likes to play around with his characters in stories such as this one. I’m not trying to hate on it in this post now, but the more I think this over, the more I start to realize how this might go down in the end. One or the other is going to sacrifice to save the rest and it’s gonna be N or Uzi. 

However, I could be wrong with this whole analysis and glitch might give us the kissing or spark scene between our main characters in the last two episodes. But my point still stands about the spark. 

N and Uzi never had one so far, which will possibly be their downfall in the end. 

That is all for this post, I accept that nuzi is a ship, but I’ll die before I accept it in my heart. This isn’t to ruffle any feathers or start drama, these are my own thoughts and opinions on the matter.
