This very good boy has decided my park is the place to be. He showed up a couple days ago, I walked him around to confirm he didn’t belong to any of the campers, I posted him to the town’s FB, someone showed up and called him Rusty and he happily jumped into their car.

This morning, he came back. And it took like half an hour to lure him back out of the office once he followed me in.

Here's your reminder that tumblr activism (which all of syscourse is) is not real activism. If you want to make real change in the world you gotta get out there and do things, not just post on social media.

This isn't to say every system needs to be doing it (oh god no) or that it's not important to some people (we wouldn't be here if it wasn't) but to compare it to be going out there enacting real change is more than a little insulting.
